Abstract

Nowadays scientists from different countries and regions of the countries speak about current issues on the problem of multicultural experiences policy in education in regional higher institutions. Abstract

Abstract This paper presents an integrated view of the literature published on all aspects and facets of competence in supply chain management (SCM) revealing that the framework brings together aspects at the individual and organizational level of competence from SCM literature. The purpose of this paper is to explore and develop the general proposition that organizational cultural compatibility between strategic supply chain partners results in improved performance outcomes for each participant in the chain. A theoretical framework is proposed of the relationship of differing organizational cultural elements (practices, values, behaviors and norms) to supply chain performance.

Abstract

Abstract- The problem of ensuring environmental and economic security for quite a long time remains relevant in the world community. It is the subject of continual scientific debates. The alignment of IT strategy which is a necessity. Information technology is useful for companies when they can be used in the right way. In this regard, learning can be an effective step in transferring knowledge to human and financial management. Unfortunately, in many cases the priority in strategic planning, namely in the mechanisms for implementing the existing strategies, is given to the interests of large manufacturers, whose goals (increase in profits, business costs, etc.) are often diametrically opposed to socio-ecological goals (for example, decrease of harmful emissions through spending more money on treatment plants in order to prevent natural degradation and morbidity of the population, etc.). The solution of this problem should be based on the concept of balanced eco-economic development and changes in the paradigm of entrepreneurship education. It is very important that any economic project is environmentally sound, and any environmental decision is economically feasible. At the same time every environmental decision should take into account the development of the well-being of citizens and the development of the region. All this requires the development of a whole system of stimulating the social and environmental responsibility of contaminating plants, both at the level of the state as a whole and at the regional level. In Russia, scientific research on this issue has been actively conducted for 10-15 years. Based on this research, some standard methods for assessing the eco-economic development of the territories were developed. However, in the context of current conditions, they need radical changes and new approaches. Let us consider this problem in more detail.

Abstract

The paper aims to explain the development of the modified environmental, social governance disclosure index (MESGi) for the Malaysian public listed companies. MESGi consists of 130 items will serve as a holistic and comprehensive checklist to evaluate the extent of environmental, social and governance information disclosure on companies annual and sustainability reports. It is hoped that the MESGi would enhance the level of disclosure by companies as the checklist includes both local and international items that have been developed in a detailed process. As well, it is hoped that the MESGi would assist more Malaysian companies to be listed in the FTSE4Good Index. This would in turn assist in advancing the sustainability agenda in the Malaysian business environment.

Abstract

This paper examined the validity of the entrepreneurial marketing (EM) construct in the context of small and medium enterprises (SME) in Malaysia, which contributes to the marketing and entrepreneurship interface literature. This study conducted self-administered survey among SME owners-managers. Accordingly, this study performed two-stage analysis, which were exploratory factors analysis (sample of 101 respondents in the pilot study) and confirmatory factor analysis (sample of 221 respondents in the field study). Obtained results demonstrated the reliability and validity of the four-dimensional EM construct (opportunity creation, customer intimacy-based innovative product, resource enhancement, and legitimacy) for further analysis. It is recommended to evaluate the effectiveness of the proposed EM construct in enhancing the business performance of SMEs. Essentially, this study empirically examined the EM construct using structural equation modeling approach, which expands the domain of EM.

Abstract

This paper deals with the influence of the regional supply chain structure of the Russian economy on its evolution towards a market or plan. This influence is analyzed with the help of a two-sector model of the economic system. The logic of the two-sector model presupposes dividing the economy into resource-abundant and resource-insufficient sectors. The movement of the economy towards the market or towards the plan is determined by the proportion between these sectors. If we take the resource-abundant sector as a given, then the growth of the resource-insufficient causes the downturn of market institutions and the actualization of the plan institutions. Using the empirical material, the paper explores such elements of the resource-insufficient sector of Russias regions as the presence of unprofitable enterprises, the production of social benefits, innovations, armament and investments. It is revealed that the actual distribution of these elements of the resource-insufficient sector by regions of Russia provides structural conditions for the functioning of the Russian economy in the market mode. However, if we consider the selected elements of the resource-insufficient sector not in fact, but in relation to a certain social norm, Russia, in the regional context, features a sharp gap and dispersion in innovation and production of social benefits. If these elements of the regional supply chain structure are brought into line with the norm, then taking into account the specific Russian infrastructure and the capital intensity factor, this will lead to a sharp increase in investments, and consequently a resource-insufficient sector. The growth of the resource-insufficient sector will, in accordance with the theoretical logic of the two-sector model, activate the plan institutes. Given that the Russian economy is the largest in the EEU, this will entail either the drift of the economy of the EEU towards the plan, or activate the processes of disintegration.
