Abstract

The supply chain management has emerged as a key competitive tool, however, little or no attention has been given to explore the link between supply chain governance, external corporate governance mechanism such as board characteristics and supply chain performance. Therefore, the current study is being carried out explore the relationship among three interlinked phenomena such as external corporate governance, supply chain governance and firm supply performance. It is argued in this study that the supply chain governance mediates the relationship between corporate governance firm supply performance. The SMART-PLS is used to achieve the objective of the current stud. The data is collected from the operation managers, production managers and finance managers of manufacturing firms listed in Indonesian Stock Exchange. The results of the study have shown a great deal of agreement with our proposed hypothesis. Meanwhile the findings have provided support to the predictions of agency theory and resource based theory. The study which is among pioneering studies on the issue will be helpful for policy makers and managers in understanding the role of agency theory in supply chain management.

Abstract

Objective of this study is to examine the role of firm characteristics in supply chain performance (SCP) with mediating role of corporate social responsibility (CSR). Various lower income countries are facing different issues in supply chain which has effect on SCP. These issues are related to the firm characteristics. Firm characteristics include; size and ownership. Additionally, this study examined the mediation effect of CSR between firm characteristics and SCP. 500 questionnaires were distributed to get the response of supply chain employees in Indonesian supply chain companies. The companies only dealing with supply chain were selected to get response. The companies which were involved in other activities are not included in the survey. After data collection, data were examined through structural equation modeling. It is found that firm characteristics have direct relationship with CSR and CSR has direct relationship with SCP. Moreover, CSR playing a mediating role between firm characteristics and SCP.

Abstract

Objective of the study is to examine the role of corporate governance in nationwide supply chain growth through foreign portfolio investment (FPI). FPI is considered as mediating variable between corporate governance and apply chain growth. To approach the objective of this study, primary data were collected and analysed through statistical software. Data were collected from Indonesian economists. Total number of three hundred questionnaires were used in this process. After data collection, it was analysed with the help of PLS. Findings of the study highlighted that corporate governance has important role in FPI and supply chain growth. Any fluctuation in corporate governance has direct impact on FPI and supply chain growth. Corporate governance leads to FPI and FPI leads to supply chain growth. The study is beneficial for Indonesian supply chain companies while making the strategies.

Abstract

Supply Chain governance is an emerging phenomenon, the interorganizational theories are placing an increasing emphasis on the internal governance, which helps a firm in integrating the process and networks by keeping or sustaining theory dynamic nature. The prime objective of the current study is to explore the impact of supply chain governance on supply chain capabilities. Meanwhile the study has examined the mediating role of corporate governance in the relation between the supply chain governance and supply chain capabilities. We have used the SEM-PLS as a statistical tool to achieve the objectives of the current study. The data is collected with the aid of an adapted questionnaire. The operation managers and finance managers of Indonesian manufacturing firms are chosen as final sample of the current study. The results of the study are providing support to the proposition of agency theory and resource-based theory. Overall the findings of the current study are in line with the proposed findings.

Abstract

The main aim behind this empirical research is to investigate the impact of the adoption of the supply chain financial solutions on the supply chain financial flows of manufacturing firms listed in Indonesian Stock Exchange. In addition to that the study has also investigated the moderating role of cash conversion cycle in the relationship between supply chain financial solutions and supply chain financial flows. To achieve the objective of the study we have employed the panel data method and have used the linear repression and hierarchical regression techniques. The final sample comprise of 756 firm year observations over the period of 6 years from 2012-2017.teh findings of the study have shown an agreement with the proposed findings of the study. The cash conversion cycle appears as strong moderator. In author knowledge this is among few pioneering studies on this issue and will be helpful for future policy makings.

Abstract

The prime objective of this empirical research is exploring the role of supply chain financing in enhancing the supply chain management performance of the firms operating in the manufacturing sector of Indonesia. In addition to that the current study has also intended to study the impact of firm cash flow on supply chain management performance. Finally, the study has also examined the mediating role of firm cash flow in the relationship between supply chain financing and supply chain management performance. The multiple regression is used to achieve the novel objectives of the current study. The data by means of an adapted questionnaire is collected form the finance and operation managers of manufacturing firms listed in Indonesian stock exchange. Prior to regression analysis the data has undergone basic diagnostic test and after confirmation of reliability, validity and multicollinearity we have carried out a regression analysis. The direct relations of hypotheses H1,H2,and H3 are significant and positive, whereas the results of H4 are also significant, Which indicates that the firms cash flow mediates the relationship between supply chain financing and supply chain management performance

Abstract

The study is aimed to examine the effect of SCEC on SCP on Indonesian service sector alongside the mediating role of SIS and SCC. This was done quantitatively 96 employees were selected as a sample size. Irregular inspecting technique and 5point Likert scale was used to collect the information. AMOS and SPSS has been used to analyze the information. The conclusion of this investigation revealed that Indonesian organizations can enhance their SCP through SCEC.
