Abstract

The article discusses the prospects for the introduction of the Russian accounting practice of International financial reporting standards (IFRS), the calculation of the fair value of the biological asset of horse breeding organizations under IFRS. A number of methods of calculation of fair value, a technique based on market value and calculation based on the method of profit capitalization and money flow discounting are considered to justify the effectiveness of supply chain management. To prove the necessity and effectiveness of the implementation of IFRS in the production calculations were made on the example of OJSC "Ufa horse breeding farm â„–119", the leading enterprise for the industrial production of medicinal mare's milk. When using the method based on market value, it is clear that the profit of the organization, when using the calculations of biological assets at fair value, is more by 4.4 million rubles, than reflected in the balance sheet. In the case of calculations based on the method of profit capitalization, the balance sheet increase by more than 7 million rubles. Calculations indicate that the carrying amount of biological assets is significantly understated in relation to the fair value. Distortion of real value indicators leads to a false assessment of the effectiveness of the use of assets in organizations producing agricultural products, as well as creates difficulties in making appropriate decisions in the management sphere. Accounting for biological assets of the organization at fair value will improve the reliability of the financial results of the agricultural organization and will help to assess the results of economic activity more accurately; it will contribute to the adoption of correct and timely management decisions on the choice of supply chain management strategy. It will significantly increase investment attractiveness of agricultural organizations and the whole industries.

Abstract

As part of the research related to the improvement of the portfolio theory of H. Markowitz, J. Tobin, and W. Sharpe for use in established as well as developing modern stock markets, the authors proposed a concept and a numerical algorithm to choose the priority sequence of financial portfolios of non-institutional investors, taking into account their preferences and projected changes in the parameters included in financial portfolios assets. In the absence of an optimization model suited to the market, an investor’s ability to choose a portfolio from several alternatives that satisfy the preferences in terms of profitability, risk, and liquidity significantly improves the quality of an investment decision by employing supply chain strategy. The authors’ concept provides for the formation of a set of alternative financial portfolios with different characteristics in a priori given quantity: the selection of an integral quality indicator of the investment portfolio, the formation of the priority sequence of portfolios using the game theory method “against nature”, and the synthetic “game” Wald-Savage criterion, which allows the consideration of the investor’s predisposition for risk–return pair. A comparative analysis of investment decisions based on the “classical” portfolio theory and the author’s concept allowed the conclusion that the proposed approach and the numerical method are correct and are better in comparison to traditional methods and efficiency algorithms when applied to the portfolio investment tasks.

Abstract

This article substantiates the need to strategize food markets’ development in the region as components of the region's reproduction cycle of food products by using supply chain management. The authors suggest two approaches in terms of this development in the region. Within the framework of the product-territorial approach, strategies have been defined for the development of markets for individual food products in order to activate internal sources of forming product supply. Within the framework of the product-spatial approach, the need to develop strategic priorities for the development of local food markets to best meet the population's food needs, taking into account inter-municipal socio-economic differentiation, has been justified. The scheme for the strategic supply chain management implementation of the local food markets’ development is based on embedding strategic objectives, priorities, and guidelines for their development in the strategies of the socio-economic development in the region and its municipal formations.

Abstract

The article deals with the study of the consumer behavior by considering the supply chain strategy in the context of a rapid digital transformation. The urgency and significance of the identified problem for science and practice are stipulated, on the one hand, by objective economic laws and major trends of the modern era, and on the other, by the problems of developing a model of the digital consumer’s responsible behavior. The purpose of this research is the development of ideas about factors (determinants) influencing consumer behavior in the context of digital transformation, which at present is acquiring not only a socio-economic, but also a considerable ethical significance. The theoretical and methodological principles of the systemic and interdisciplinary approaches allowed us to identify two main groups of consumer behavior models: the conservative “homo economicus” model and models based on T. Veblen’sideas adapted to the socio-economic reality of the 20th-21 st centuries. The capabilities of the modern digital economy make full use of consumer effects described by Veblen and not just “nudge” the consumer to make the targeted decision, but form a new type of consumers online, who are integrated into various communities and do not have information barriers.
