Abstract

The purpose of this research is to find out the level and the correlation between the habit of reading the Qur’an to the emotional quotient of student class VIII MTs Al-Hamid Banjarmasin. This research used a quantitative approach. The data collection device uses the Likert scale, scale aspect of the habit of reading Qur’an 38 items, and emotional quotient scale 37 items that have been tested for validity and reliability. The sampling technique used was nonprobability sampling, with a total of 89 peoples — the data analysis using SPSS software for Windows 21.0. Quantitative data shows the habit of reading Qur’an in the medium category (61,79 percent) and emotional quotient in the medium type (66,29 percent). A correlation analysis results use a Pearson product moment technique in the can calculated r value is 0,460 with p-value 0,000 while the r table is at the 5 percent significance level with N = 89 of 0,213 show off that the habit of reading Qur’an affected the level of emotional quotient. As for the magnitude of the contribution of the practice of reading the Qur’an variable to the emotional quotient of MTs Al-Hamid Banjarmasin in the amount of (rxy2 x 100) or 21,16 percent.

Abstract

This paper tries to explore the concept of Insan Kamil through two books of Sufism, ad-Durr an-Nafis by Muhammad Nafis al-Banjari and Siyar as-Salikin by Abdush-Shamad al-Falimbânî. The method used in this paper comparative descriptive approach, because the studies referred to in this study aims to look at the similarities and differences of the concept of Insan Kamil contained in both books. These results indicate that the thought of Muhammad Nafis al-Banjari in the book ad-Durr an-Nafis and Abdush-Samad al-Falimbânî in the book Siyar al-Salikin against the concept of Insan Kamil has the same basic concept, in addition to the typical thinking its own distinct between the two.

Abstract

This study is aimed at determining the effect of career counselling on increasing self efficacy among Junior High School Students. To find the effect, this study investigates two group of students. The first group is those who got the conselling career, while the second group did not. The result is that those who got conselling career have higher self efficacy than those who did not. This means that career counselling truly increases self efficacy in career making decision among the students.

Abstract

Curriculum change occurred nowadays shows that the curriculum is prone to social changes. Although the changes remain happened, there seems no curriculum which distinguishes its use between normal students and students with special needs (either physical or mentality). In fact, the curriculum should be enjoyed not only by the normal students but also the students with special needs. Hence, they can obtain equal education system without feeling a sense of discrimination from the government. Although the curriculum is the same, teachers may apply different strategies and methods. Hence, the teachers are not only professional in teaching, but also has specific competence than those who teach normal students. What I mean competence here is not professional, pedagogy, personality, or social competences. Rather, it is a spiritual competence where teachers are teaching by heart, not by material (money).

Abstract

The purpose of the study was to prove relationship religiosity to discipline behavior in a student at Islamic boarding schools. Student noncompliance with regulation indicates a lack of disciplinary behavior. So student needs to increase the value of religiosity in Islamic boarding school as a behavior controllers, one of which disciplined behavior. Correlational research type with a quantitative approach. Sample populations of student class XI and using random sampling with 68 samples. Research data collected using the religiosity scale and discipline behavior consisting of 26 and 27 items valid with a reliability coefficient of 0,700 and 0,787. The result of the study indicates that there is a positive relationship between religiosity and the behavior of student discipline, which means the higher the religiosity, the more positive the discipline behavior with the correlation coefficient rxy=0,328; p=0,000 (p<0,01). R square obtained by 0,108, meaning that religiosity effectively contributes to 10,8% for discipline behavior.

Abstract

South Kalimantan province is currently rated sixth in the case of drug abuse. On the other hand, the province of South Kalimantan is a province with Islamic society culture. It should be able to become a filter to form a healthy society, since Islam has a complete concept of physically and psychologically health. From the reality, the writer looked that Islamic psychotherapy could be an option as psychotherapy for patients with mental disorder caused by drug abuse and contemporary psychotherapy in addition to obtain the optimal health. Because the Islamic psychotherapy concept is proven to help deal with the psychological problems. Then, ‘Pondok Inabah’ is one of the places which uses Islamic psychotherapy chosen as the study site. This study aims to describe patients who suffer from mental disorders due to drug abuse and to find the Islamic psychotherapy techniques applied to patients with mental disorders as a result of drug abuse in ‘Pondok Inabah’. The research finding can be used as the scientific literature for scholars working in the field of psychology; general and Islam. The materials study can be used by the practitioners who work in the field of psychotherapy, both psychologists and muslim therapists and as well as information material for the general public who is interested or has intention on the topic of Islamic psychotherapy for patients with mental disorders due to drugs.

Abstract

The aim of the study is the prove Ridha relationship to body image in students High school. The incompatibility of body conditions with an ideal body image encourages adolescence to change body shape so that confidence increases. This behavior is the implementation of negative body image so that adolescence need to increase self-acceptance or Ridha. Correlational research type with a quantitative approach. The sample population of student class XI and using purposive sampling with a total of 124 samples. Research data collected using the Ridha scale and body image consisting of 26 and 22 valid items with a reliability coefficient of 0,859 and 0,834. The results showed that there is a positive relationship between Ridha with the body image of adolescents which means the higher Ridha then the more positive body image with correlation coefficient rxy=0,324; p=0,000 (p<0,01). R-Square obtained by 0,105 means that being Ridha to contribute effectively is 10,5% to body image.

Abstract

The results showed that: 1) Monotheism Education in Surat Al-An'am: 74-83 namely: 1) Monotheism Education Rubūbiyah, which is in verse 75 which explains that Allah SWT has shown signs of the greatness of Allah SWT in the sky and grounded to prophet Ibrahim as so that his soul is directed. Then the prophet Ibrahim (as) discovered the truth of the belief in a Godhead through observation and contemplation about the universe by using his fitrah, and this is following verses 76-78. 2) Education of Uluhiyah Tauhid is in verse 74, which explains that the father and the prophets of Abraham made the idols they made into gods. Moreover, verse 79, that is, the sincerity of the prophet Ibrahim as to surrender, confronts his view of Allah SWT. It does not follow his people to associate Allah by way of worshiping other than Him, such as worshiping the stars, the moon, and the idols that they made themselves.3) Implementation of Tauhid Education in Islamic Education: The faith taught by Islam to humans since childhood is critical. Because the goals of Islamic education itself are in harmony with religious goals: 1) To realize a believer who believes and is devoted to Allah SWT.2) Education in Islam seeks to develop and inculcate monotheistic education to humans as optimal as possible to be able to function as a driving force in daily practice. 3) Development and inculcation of monotheism education can be done with learning activities, namely through various institutions. 4) In the school environment, both elementary, middle, and for the development and planting of monotheism, education is carried out through multiple activities, both at the time of KBM and extracurricular. 5) Outside the school, the development and cultivation of human monotheism education start from the family environment

Abstract

The Qur'an, a holy book that guides all Muslims. The Qur'an is the embodiment of the guidance to bring each individual to the salvation of the world and the hereafter. Everyone has different ways of interacting with the Qur'an, one of them by memorizing the Qur'an. Individuals who interact with the Qur'an by means of memorizing of course have different responsibilities. Teenagers who are Al Quran memorizing students have certain signs in expressing self-presentation that may be different from other teenagers. Using descriptive phenomenology study, there were 4 respondents in this study. The data retrieval technique uses semi structured interviews on the primary and secondary subject and uses nonparticipant observation. The results showed that the four respondents had different self-presentation patterns. The most crucial, the Qur'an forms interpreted ideals in their self-presentation through the dimensions of the khuluqiyyah dimension with respect to ethical values and the amaliyah dimension pertaining to daily behavior.
