Abstract

Muhammadiyah adalah sebuah organisasi Islam yang didirikan oleh K.H. Ahmad Dahlan di Kampung Kauman Yogyakarta pada tanggal 8 Dzulhijjah 1330 H/18 November 1912. Muhammadiyah dikenal masyarakat paling tidak dalam 3 hal, yaitu ; Pertama, Muhammadiyah adalah sebagai gerakan Islam yang giat melakukan tajdid dan pembaharuan. Kedua, Muhammadiyah adalah sebagai gerakan Islam yang giat dalam bidang pendidikan dan ketiga Muhammadiyah adalah sebagai gerakan Islam yang giat dalam bidang sosial kemasyarakatan. Muhammadiyah mulai masuk di Kabupaten Banjar sekitar tahun 1927 di Martapura dan Karang Intan. Pimpinan Daerah Muhammadiyah Kabupaten Banjar berdiri sejak tanggal 23 Muharram 1385 H bertepatan dengan 25 Mei 1965, yang secara organisatoris pada awal berdirinya masih bergabung dengan Kabupaten Tanah Laut dengan sebutan Pimpinan Muhammadiyah Daerah Banjar/Tala.

Abstract

Hadits is the second source of law after the Qur'an, many values or teachings express or implied in the hadits. Among them are the hadith about nishfu Sya’ban narrated by Ibnu Majah. In this paper discussed three aspects namely the power of hadits sanad, the meaning of hadits and actualization of the hadits in the midst of society (Living sunnah). Based on the results of the research, it is found that this hadits is weak because there are among the narrators who are considered to have hadits critics as counterfeiters of hadits. While matan hadits implicitly does not conflict with syari’ah of Islam. And the practices that exist in this hadits still live in the midst of society (students) to this day.

Abstract

Nūr Muhammad adalah satu terma yang penting dalam bidang tasawuf. Tulisan ini adalah hasil penelitian tentang Nūr Muhammad dalam tasawuf perspektif Syeikh Abdul Hamid Abulung, seorang ulama sufi yang hidup di tanah Banjar Kalimantan Selatan pada abad ke-18 Masehi, bertujuan untuk menjelaskan pemahaman Nūr Muhammad dalam ilmu tasawuf Syeikh Abdul Hamid Abulung meliputi konsep, metode, dan pengalaman kerohanian. Kajian ini melibatkan penelitian perpustakaan dan lapangan. Penelitian menemukan bahwa paham Nūr Muhammad dalam perspektif Syeikh Abdul Hamid Abulung bukan sekadar teori kosmologi saja, tetapi sebuah konsep tentang Tuhan dan hubungannya dengan alam ciptaan-Nya yang apabila dipahami dan diamalkan dengan baik dapat menghantarkan seorang untuk menghampiri Tuhannya. Dalam konsep Nur Muhammad dalam tasawuf Syeikh Abdul Hamid Abulung terdapat sebuah metode yang dikenal sebagai mushāhadah. Mushāhadah diamalkan melalui salat dā‟im dan zikr. Konsep Nūr Muhammad yang diamalkan dengan metode mushāhadah, memungkinkan pengamalnya mendapat pengalaman kerohanian yang tinggi, yaitu kesadaran akan Wujud ke-Maha Esa-an Allah yang tiada wujud selain-Nya. Kesadaran salik yang demikian membolehkannya memasuki alam fanā', baqā', ittihād, dan hulūl. Konsep Nūr Muhammad dalam perspektif Syeikh Abdul Hamid Abulung mengandung teori, metode dan juga pengalaman kerohanian yang luar biasa.

Abstract

The liberation theology is a theology which puts great ernphasis on fieedom, equality and distributive justice and strongly condemns exploitation of rnan by man, opprcssion and pcrsccution. l'he main character ol'this thcology is its conccrn to thc mustadh'afun (the weak people). Suclr tlrc ology didn't want the status quo rvhich protect the rich people. It's anti-status quo either in religoLrs field or politic one. Such theology play the imporlant role in caring tbr the weak people who his right was under attack. Abstract

Islam, as a perfect religion, is a religion that brings grace to the universe (rahmatan lil alamin). However, in this modern era, Indonesian Muslims face significant challenges due to the emergence of reformist movement groups with extreme views, namely fundamentalism and radicalism. This is shown by the facts about the bombing carried out by a group of terrorists in the name of Islam. This gets a balance by Islam in this country, which is an Islam that holds a moderate principle, does not lean to the right or the left, but takes the middle path so as not to clash with one another. This principle is the strength of Islam in counteracting radicalism in Indonesia. The principle that does not incline towards an extreme right or an extreme to the left understanding of Islam but remains in the middle is identified with Islamic moderation. This article aims to describe the relevance of Islamic moderation in minimizing the spread of radicalism in Indonesia. This article is qualitative literature research. This study uses written materials in books, scientific articles, research reports, and articles published on news websites. The data analysis technique used was data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The results of the analysis show that the Indonesian-based reconstruction of Islamic moderation, which has new distinctions or characteristics, is conceptually and practically crucial in reducing religious radicalism in Indonesia.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the attitude of some people who are pros and cons toward the law of polygamy in the Qur'an. The researcher found that these two attitudes seem to counter to each other and mutually apathy. The pro-people tend to ease the poligamy and ignore its purpose, whereas, the cons reject the practice of polygamy under the excuse of being not ready. This research is conducted to answer to the pros and cons using the thoughts of Quraish Shihab as a mufassir and a Muslim scholars. This research is expected to be able provide a full understanding of polygamy in the Qur'an. This is a literature study. The research object is the reactive thoughts of Quraish Shihab and the source is Tafsir al-Mishbah. From this research it can be seen that, polygamy offered in the Qur'an does not mean without limits, terms, and purpose. Likewise, The Quran does not ban poligamy if it is as an emergency solution to a particular case, and only those who have the knowledge and capability are allowed to do poligamy.

Abstract

Undang-undang Sultan Adam sebagai perangkat hukum peninggalan masa lalu kurang mendapatkan perhatian baik dari kalangan para ahli hukum maupun dari sejarawan, bahkan sampai sekarang ini teks peraturan itu belum pernah ditulis dalam bahasa Indonesia karena sampai saat ini dokumen itu masih tertulis dalam bahasa Melayu/Banjar disertai terjemahannya dalam bahasa Belanda. Karena itu wajar apabila dokumen hukum itu tidak tersebar secara meluas dikalangan para ilmuan. Di sampimg itu dokumen hukum itu juga penting sebagai informasi bagi generasi mendatang tentang keberhasilan yang pernah dicapai oleh nenek moyang mereka dimasa lampau dalam menetapkan hukum di dalam masyarakatnya.

Abstract

The essence of society is an integral part of the discussion of the philosophy of Islamic education. Fazlur Rahman even conclude that the primary purpose of the Qur’an is to enforce a social order that’s fair and ideal. As a community order which emphasizes tolerance, democracy and civilized, civil society to contribute positively to the needs of Muslims today. For the basic concept of philosophy of Islamic education should be placed in the context of civil society supra-system of education in which it will be applied. Therefore reconstruction of Islamic educational philosophy into something very urgent and relevant to today’s problems of Islamic education.

Abstract

This article will analyse Tuhfah ar-Rghibn which was written by Muhammad Arsyad al-Banjari who well-known as one of the central religious figures of the Banjarese society. The first section will describe the contents of Tuhfah ar-Rghibn generally. The second one will analyse the historisity of Tuhfah ar-Rghibn and its methodology. Then, it will be followed by a reflection about the relevance of the methodology of Tuhfah ar-Rghibn for today. Finally, it concludes that Tuhfah ar-Rghibn has theocentrical approach and bayn epistemology. This approach has to re-study to adjust the needs of Banjarese society today.
