Abstract

Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) ini bertujuan (1) mengetahui langkah-langkah meningkatkan kemampuan menulis cerita fantasi dengan menggunakan video anak “Malin Kundang” pada siswa kelas VII 3 SMP Laboratorium Undiksha, (2) mengetahui peningkatan kemampuan siswa menulis cerita fantasi melalui video anak “Malin Kundang” pada siswa kelas VII 3 SMP Laboratorium Undiksha, dan (3) mengetahui respons siswa terhadap penggunaan video anak “Malin Kundang” dalam meningkatkan keterampilan menulis cerita fantasi  di kelas VII 3 SMP Laboratorium Undiksha. Subjek dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas VII 3 SMP Laboratorium Undiksha. Objek penelitian ini adalah langkah-langkah meningkatkan kemampuan menulis cerita fantasi dengan menggunakan video anak “Malin Kundang” pada siswa kelas VII 3 SMP Laboratorium Undiksha, peningkatan kemampuan siswa menulis cerita fantasi melalui video anak “Malin Kundang” pada siswa kelas VII 3 SMP Laboratorium Undiksha, dan respons siswa terhadap penggunaan video anak “Malin Kundang” dalam meningkatkan keterampilan menulis cerita fantasi  di kelas VII 3 SMP Laboratorium Undiksha. Metode pengumpulan data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah observasi, tes, kuesioner dan wawancara. Data yang didapatkan dianalisis dengan teknik deskriptif-kualitatif dan deskriptif-kuantitatif. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa, (1) berdasarkan hasil observasi yang dilakukan, dapat dikatakan bahwa langkah-langkah pelaksanaan pembelajaran yang dilakukan guru sudah tergolong baik/bagus. Hal ini dapat dilihat dari penilaian yang diberikan peneliti atau observer saat mengamati guru mengajar. (2) penggunaan video anak "Malin Kundang: dapat meningkatkan kemampuan menulis cerita fantasi siswa. Hal ini dapat dilihat dalam perbandingan skor rata-rata klasikal, yakni pada pratindakan skor rata-rata klasikal 68.14 (cukup), siklus I memperoleh skor rata-rata klasikal 76,66 (baik), sedangkan pada siklus II nilai rata-rata klasikal siswa menjadi 82,95 (baik); (3) siswa memberikan respons sangat positif dan positif terhadap penggunaan video anak "Malin Kundang" dalam pembelajaran menulis cerita fantasi. Dari hasil yang telah dicapai, bahwa penggunaan video anak "Malin Kundang"  perlu dipertimbangkan sebagai upaya untuk mengoptimalkan proses dan hasil belajar bahasa dan sastra Indonesia.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui: hubungan status gizi dengan kejadian dismenore dan hubungan usia menarche dengan kejadian dismenore pada siswi SMP. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian korelasional dengan responden berjumlah 65 orang yang ditentukan dengan teknik simple random sampling. Uji statistik menggunakan korelasi Product Moment pada taraf signifikansi 5%. Hasil analisis statistik menunjukan untuk hasil hubungan status gizi dengan kejadian dismenore, diperoleh nilai p = 0,008 dengan nilai r = 0,324, dan untuk hasil hubungan usia menarche dengan kejadian dismenore nilai p = 0,005 dengan nilai r = 0,341 serta didapatkan nilai R sebesar 0,430. Dari hasil analisis tersebut dapat disimpulkan bahwa: 1) terdapat hubungan yang signifikan antara status gizi dengan kejadian dismenore, 2) terdapat hubungan yang signifikan antara usia menarche dengan kejadian dismenore dengan tingkat hubungan yang rendah. Status gizi dan usia saat menarche berkontribusi sebesar 43% terhadap kejadian dismenore.

Abstract

 Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mendeskripsikan dampak pendidikan dan pelatihan (diklat) Teknis Substantif Penelitian Tindakan Kelas Pola Baru (DTSPTK Pola Baru) terhadap kompetensi pengetahuan, keterampilan, kinerja dan karir alumni diklat di Balai Diklat Keagamaan Denpasar, khususnya di Kantor Kementerian Agama Kota Mataram. Fokus evaluasi ini adalah dampak atau manfaat diklat yang dikenal dengan istilah evaluasi pasca diklat. Desain penelitian ini berupa penelitian deskriptif kuantitatif dan kualitatif (Mix methods research). Simpulan penelitian menunjukkan adanya dampak diklat terhadap penerapan kompetensi pengetahuan terkait PTK dengan hasil efektif (88.00%), dampak diklat pada aspek penerapan kompetensi keterampilan terkait PTK menunjukkan hasil efektif (86.10%), efektif juga dalam peningkatan kinerja (88.00%%), efektif dalam peningkatan karir (87.10%), dan efektif pada aspek dukungan pimpinan (86.80%), serta efektif pada aspek rencana perubahan (85.90%). Terdapat peningkatan prestasi akademik baik oleh peserta didik dari para alumni maupun alumni itusendiri. Ada 62 prestasi akademik diraih peserta didik di bawah bimbingan para alumni DTSPTK Pola Baru mulai dari tingkat kota Mataram, provinsi NTB, dan nasional. Selain itu, satu prestasi akademik diraih pula oleh alumni. Terdapat 18 (delapan belas) alumni yang sudah memanfaatkan laporan Penelitian Tindakan Kelas hasil diklatnya untuk naik pangkat ke jenjang karir di atasnya. Pada aspek rencana perubahan, ada 9 (sembilan) judul Penelitian Tindakan Kelas yang baru dan siap untuk ditindaklanjuti menjadi sebuah hasil laporan penelitan Tndakan kelas. Karena menunjukkan efektivitas yang memadai, maka DTSPK Pola Baru dapat dijadikan salah satu alernatif dari diversifikasi diklat di BDK Denpasar khususnya, dan di BDK lain di Indonesia.

Abstract

This study aimed at investigating the implementation of the process based approach in teaching writing in order to know its effect to the improvement of students’ writing achievement Furthermore, the quantitative method was used in this research with quasi experimental design. The subjects involved in this study were 35 Junior High School students from VII A7 class in SMP Negeri 1 Singaraja, Bali, Indonesia. The proficiency test such as pretest and post test were conducted in this study in oder to collect the data. The students were given a treatment for about eight weeks. The data obtained were analysed by using descriptive and inferential statistics. It was analyzed using SPSS. As the result of statistical analysis, it was found that sig 2-tailed result in the paired samples t-test wast 0.00, which was below 0.05. In terms of the mean score, it was found the mean score in the post test (80.46) was higher than the mean score in the pretest (68.59). So, it can be concluded that process based approach had a significant effect on the seventh’ grade students writing achievement.

Abstract

This study focused on investigating the effect of puppets as a teaching media on students’ speaking competency. It was an experimental research administering post-test only control group design. The population was the eighth-grade students of SMP N 6 Singaraja. The samples were VIII B1 class as experimental group and VIII B3 as a control group. The experimental group was treated by using puppets as teaching media, whereas the control group was treated by using the conventional technique. The instruments used in this study to collect the data were the teaching scenario and post-test in the form of a speaking test. The data were then analyzed descriptively, inferentially and effect size. The result was significant. It can be seen from both group's mean score where the experimental group’s score was 93.84 while control group’s score was 90.22 the value of tob (t observed) was 2.111 and it was higher than tcv (t critical value) that was 1.669 (a=0.5). It indicates that there is a significant effect on students’ speaking competency who were taught by puppet and those who were taught by conventional technique.

Abstract

In line with the 21st century learning of education, 2013 Curriculum (k-13) highlights the development of critical thinking, problem analyzing, problem solving, decision making, and creating something new. It requires teachers to use the new paradigm in designing the lesson plan as well as the assessment, which indicate Higher Order Thinking Skill (HOTS). However, the implementation does not work properly as planned. Therefore this research aimed to analyze the implementation of Higher Order Thinking Skill (HOTS) in terms of designing the content of lesson plans and assessments at SMA Negeri 2 Banjar. This was a qualitative research employing a document study design. The subject of this study was the English teacher in SMA Negeri 2 Banjar. The data were collected qualitatively through observation, documentation and interview. The results showed that Higher Order Thinking Skill (HOTS) was not expressed in the whole of the lesson plan and the assessment, it was covered in several parts of the lesson plan as well as the assessment. The results has the implication for the English teacher to develop the implementation of Higher Order Thinking (HOT) in the content of the lesson plan and assessment holistically.

Abstract

The research aimed at investigating the significant difference on students’ reading comprehension between students taught using Mobile Assisted Language Learning (MALL) strategy integrated with Padlet and students taught using conventional teaching strategy. This research was quasi-experimental utilizing post-test only control group design. The population of this research was tenth-grade students in SMA Negeri 4 Singaraja. The sample of this research were 73 students consisting of 35 students from X BB 1 as experimental group and 38 students from BB 2 as control group. The sample were chosen using cluster random sampling technique. The data collection in both groups were done through post-test. The obtained data were analyzed using descriptive and inferential statistical analysis. The result of descriptive statistics analysis reveals that the mean score for experimental group is higher than control group (78.03 > 73.39). Furthermore, the result of inferential statistics analysis through t-test shows that the significant value of tobserve is higher than tcritical value, which is 2.270 > 1.666 (df = 71, α = 0.05). Thus, it indicates that there is a significant difference on students’ reading comprehension between students taught using Mobile Assisted Language Learning (MALL) strategy integrated with Padlet and students taught using conventional teaching strategy.

Abstract

Pesatnya perkembangan industri digital saat ini memberikan pengaruh besar pada kemajuan terhadap industri global di Indonesia. Tentu banyak pihak yang terlibat dalam industri digital tersebut. Manfaat internet saat ini dirasakan hampir di setiap segmen aktifitas manusia.  Salah satu aktifitas bisnis masyarakat yang berkembang saat ini adalah perdagangan online, atau populer disebut dengan Electronic Commerce.Untuk mendukung aktifitas e-commerce diperlukan adanya suatu sistem pembayaran berbasis internet (internet payment system). Saat ini yang berkembang di beberapa Marketplace telah menggunakan metode/sistem QR-Code (Quick Response Code) sebagai metode pembayarannya. Metode tersebut terbukti efisien dalam efektifitas transaksi e-commerce. Namun muncul juga polemik dalam masyarakat mengenai metode QR-Code. Untuk melakukan pembayaran dengan metode QR-Code masyarakat harus melek teknologi dan mengerti tentang penerapan dan fungsinya. Saat ini masyarakat terlena dengan kemudahan yang ditawarkan perusahaan e-commerce dengan metode pembayaran QR-Code tanpa mengerti dan memahami keamanan/perlindungan hukum tentang metode QR-Code yang jelas.Dengan adanya suatu kajian tentang perlindungan terhadap sistem pembayaran elektronik berbasis QR-Code diharapkan konsumen e-commerce dan masyarakat Indonesia pada umumnya mengerti bagaimana penerapan metode pembayaran tersebut dan keamanan metode pembayaran tersebut dalam memberi perlindungan bagi konsumen e-commerce.

Research using descriptive methods with qualitative forms. data collection techniques using documentary studies. Data collection tool in this study is the researcher himself as a key instrument (human instrument) assisted with other data collection tools namely data recording cards. Data analysis techniques in this study used content study techniques. Based on the analysis, the value of hard work character education includes hard work in the family, hard work for yourself, and hard work in working.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the process of semantic teaching in IKIP PGRI Pontianak students. The technique used in this research is direct observation and direct communication techniques. While the tools used are obesservation guidelines and interview guidelines. The processing and analyzing of the data is carried out through reflection activities. Data collected through essay test related to synonymy and antonym. The data analysis technique was carried out in stages (1) checking the result of observation carefully (2) determing the suitability of the formulation of learning objectives made by lecturers in teaching listening subject related to meaning relations (3) determing the  suitability of the material with the learning objective 94) analyzing the suitability of learning activities conducted by the lecturer (5) Analysis of interview data by the lecture (6) The results of IKIP PGRI Pontianak student research in general can distinguish the relation of meaning related to synonymy and antonym.
