Abstract

This study aimed at (1) designing and implementing the development of TAIbased interactive learning media for the technology of information andcommunication subject with the topic of graphic design for grade XII students ofSMAN 1 Sukasada; (2) knowing the students and teachers’ response towards thedevelopment of TAI based interactive learning media for the technology ofinformation and communication subject with the topic of graphic design.This study was in the form of Research and Development/ R&D with the designdeveloped by Dick and Carey. It involved the students from SMAN 1 SUKASADAin the academic year of 2011/2012. The data were taken from interview. The validityof TAI based learning media as well as students and teachers’ responses werecollected through questionnaire. The data were then analyzed descriptively.Waterfall model was used in the development of TAI based learning mediawhich was designed by using DFD (Data flow Diagram). It was also implemented byusing Adobe Dreamwaver CS3 software. The result of students’ response analysisshowed that 9% of the students gave extremely positive response, while 87% studentsgave positive response and 4% of the students gave less positive response. Therewere no students who gave negative or extremely response to it. The students’average score was 65, 78 points. It showed that the students’ response to thedevelopment of TAI based learning media was in the positive level. Meanwhile theresult of data analysis on the teachers’ response showed that 100% of the teachergave positive response to the development of the media.Key words: interactive learning media, cooperative, TAI (team assistedindividualization)

Abstract

This study is a case study which took place at The Samaya Ubud Bali Hotel. Theaims of this study are: (1) to design a decision supporting system for employee’s workevaluation for position promotion by using AHP (Analytical Hierarchy Process) andWP (Weighted Product) method, (2) to implement a decision supporting system foremployee’s work evaluation for position promotion by using AHP (AnalyticalHierarchy Process) and WP (Weighted Product) method. In designing andimplementing of the program, researcher used 2 main methods namely AHP (AnalyticalHierarchy Process) and WP (Weighted Product) in which those two methods belong toMADM (Multi Attribute Decision Making). The inputs of this application are criteriadata, criteria comparison scale, and employees’ score data. On the other hand, theoutput is in form of information that shows the employee’s rank. Trial was done tocheck the agreeability of the employee’s final score calculated by the system with thefinal score calculated manually. In this step, the hotel contribution was required todetermine and process the employees’ final score.In designing and implementing the application design, waterfall method which iswell known as classic life cycle model was used. This waterfall model is a classic modelwhich is systematically able to build software. This model involves some steps whichare: (1) requirements definition, (2) system and software design, (3) implementation andunit testing and (4) integration and system testing.The implementation and the trial of this system used Embarcadero Delphi 2010.From the trial it was found that the data produced by the system was already appropriatewith the data calculated manually. Base on this result, this decision supporting systemfor employee’s work evaluation for position promotion by using AHP (AnalyticalHierarchy Process) and WP (Weighted Product) method was already suitable with theAHP and WP calculation, and it also can be said that this system was already reliable toused at The Samaya Ubud Bali Hotel.

Abstract

Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian pengembangan (research and development) yang bertujuan untuk (1) merancang dan mengimplementasikan Pengembangan Media Pembelajaran Berbasis Web Interaktif Model Tutorial Pada Mata Pelajaran TIK Kelas VII Semester 2 di SMP Negeri 4 Denpasar; (2) mengetahui respons siswa dan guru mata pelajaran TIK, di kelas VII SMP Negeri 4 Denpasar terhadap media pembelajaran berbasis web interaktif model tutorial pada mata pelajaran TIK kelas VII semester 2.  Subjek coba pengembangan ini divalidasi  oleh seorang ahli materi, ahli desain, dan ahli media pembelajaran dan selanjutnya  produk diujicobakan kepada siswa melalui tiga tahap, yaitu uji coba perorangan, uji coba kelompok kecil, dan uji coba lapangan. Subyek uji coba penelitian ini terdiri dari 3 siswa untuk uji coba perorangan, 12 siswa untuk uji coba kelompok kecil, dan 30 siswa untuk uji coba lapangan. Data yang dikumpulkan dalam penelitian ini adalah data dari uji ahli materi, uji ahli desain, uji ahli media pembelajaran, dan dari uji coba siswa. Instrumen pengumpulan data berupa lembar evaluasi untuk ahli materi, ahli desain, dan ahli media, serta lembar angket untuk uji coba perorangan, kelompok kecil dan lapangan. Analisis data menggunakan analisis deskriptif. Pengembangan media ini menggunakan model pengembangan modul multimedia interaktif,  model penelitian ini menghasilkan produk pengembangan berupa Web Interaktif model tutorial yang layak guna pada mata pelajaran TIK di SMP Negeri 4 Denpasar pada kelas VII. 1) Kualitas media ditinjau dari isi materi termasuk kriteria sangat baik dengan persentase tingkat pencapaian 97,1%, 2) kualitas media ditinjau dari aspek media termasuk kriteria sangat baik dengan persentase 98,26%, 3) kualitas media ditinjau dari aspek desain pembelajaran termasuk kriteria baik dengan persentase 83,07%. Pada uji coba perorangan, kelompok kecil, dan lapangan semuanya dengan kriteria sangat baik dengan rincian persentase uji coba perorangan 91.67%, uji coba kelompok kecil 91,79%, dan uji coba lapangan 92%. Oleh karena itu media yang dihasilkan sudah layak guna.

Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui (1) pengaruh penerapan model pembelajaran Aptitude Treatment Interaction (ATI) terhadap hasil belajar TIK siswa kelas VIII SMP Laboratorium Undiksha Singaraja dan (2) respon siswa kelas VIII SMP Laboratorium Undiksha Singaraja terhadap pengimplementasian model pembelajaran Aptitude Treatment Interaction (ATI) dalam pembelajaran TIK. Jenis penelitian ini merupakan penelitian eksperimen semu dengan rancangan penelitian Posttest-Only Control Grup Design. Populasi penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas VIII SMP Laboratorium Undiksha Singaraja semester ganjil tahun ajaran 2011/2012 dengan jumlah siswa sebanyak 125 orang. Pengambilan sampel penelitian ini menggunakan teknik random sampling, maka ditetapkan siswa kelas VIII 2 sebanyak 42 orang sebagai kelompok eksperimen dan VIII 3 sebanyak 42 orang sebagai kelompok kontrol dengan total jumlah siswa sebanyak 84 orang. Pada akhir pembelajaran kedua kelas sampel diberi tes pilihan ganda (Kognitif) dan tes uji keterampilan (Psikomotor) dengan menggunakan instrumen yang sama. Data hasil belajar siswa kemudian dianalisis secara statistik deskriptif dengan mengunakan perhitungan uji t. Berdasarkan hasil analisis data diperoleh, (1) terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan terhadap penerapan model pembelajaran Aptitude TreatmentInteraction (ATI) terhadap hasil belajar TIK siswa kelas VIII SMP Laboratorium Undiksha Singaraja. Nilai rata-rata hasil belajar kelompok siswa dengan model pembelajaran konvensional adalah 32,83 dengan standar deviasi 2,72 dan nilai rata-rata hasil belajar kelompok siswa dengan model pembelajaran AptitudeTreatment Interaction (ATI) adalah 38,36 dengan standar deviasi 2,76. Hal ini menunjukan bahwa hasil belajar siswa dengan model pembelajaran AptitudeTreatment Interaction (ATI) lebih tinggi dari model pembelajaran konvensional. (2) Hasil pengujan hipotesis dengan menggunakan uji t, nilai t-hitung adalah 9,232028 sedangkan nilai t-tabel adalah 1,989319, oleh karena t-hitung > t-tabel maka Ho ditolak dan Ha diterima. (2) Diperoleh respon siswa sebesar 69% yang tergolong pada kategori positif terhadap pengimplementasian model pembelajaranAptitude Treatment Interaction (ATI). Abstract

The study aimed at finding out (1) the effect of cooperative model with “tutor sebaya” technique and the helping of picture and picture towards learning achievement in communication and information technique of the students class VII SMP Negeri 1 Sukasada, (2) students’ responses towards the implementation of cooperative model with “tutor sebaya” technique and the helping of picture and picture. It was a quasi experimental study employing a Post-test Only Control Group  Design. The population of the study were all students class VII SMP Negeri 1 Sukasada in 2011/2012. The study involved a number of 81 samples consisting of students in class VII-D and VII-F. Class VII-F became an experimental group, while class VII-D as a control group. There were two different variables in this study, those are (1) independent variable: cooperative model with “tutor sebaya” technique and the helping of picture and picture, and (2) dependent variable: student learning achievement which can be definied by using descriptive statistic analyzes and also used the parametric Ttest. The findings indicated that (1) there was a significant  effect of cooperative model with “tutor sebaya” technique and the helping of picture and picture of the students. The average score of the students joining direct instruction was 32.49 with standard deviation of 3.96, and the average scores of the students joining cooperative model with “tutor sebaya” technique and the helping of picture and picture was about 37.75 with standard deviation of 4.52. It indicated that students joining cooperative model with “tutor sebaya” technique and the helping of picture and picture got higher scores than those a direct model, (2) the average value of students’ responses as about 74.35 and it shows the positive category through the implementation of cooperative model with “tutor sebaya” technique and the helping of picture and picture.

Abstract

This study aimed at: (1) designing the identification system of fetus genders’ at USG image, and (2) implementing the identification system of fetus genders’ at USG image. In designing and implementing the system, it was used three main types of operation methods, namely segmentation, features extraction, and data clustering. Input of these applications were image with extent bitmap (*.bmp), and its output is an information about fetus genders’. The test has been done on the entire image sample which has become a knowledge based. In the process of testing, it was initially needed the helping of an obstetrician in identifying the fetus genders’. In designing and implementing the application design, it was used a waterfall method which is usually called as a classic life cycle model. This is a classic model which creates the software systematically and sequentially that includes some stages namely: (1) requirements definition, (2) system and software design, (3) implementation and unit testing, and (4) integration and testing system.  The implementation and testing in this study was an identification system of fetus genders’ at USG image that were using a Delphi program. Based on the data of the performance system test about the accuracy of the system when identified the fetus genders’, it was found that until 66.67% could be identified well from 54 USG image sample. In this case, the identification system of the fetus genders’ was very helpful for obstetricians when they would be identifying the fetus genders’.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk : (1) merancang aplikasi pembuatan pola motif batik dengan menggunakan pengolahan citra digital, (2) mengimplementasikan aplikasi pembuatan rancangan pola motif batik dengan menggunakan pengolahan citra digital. Dalam perancangan dan pengimplementasiannya, penelitian ini menggunakan 6 jenis metode yaitu operasi geometri (image rotation, image flip, zoom, shrink), image negative, image blending, threshold, rekursif, dan Brightness. Inputan dan keluaran dari aplikasi ini adalah citra inputan yang berekstensi bitmap (*.bmp). Pengujian akan dilakukan pada beberapa citra (motif dasar) dengan menggunakan 2 macam pengolahan motif yaitu motif batik variasi dan motif batik fraktal. Pada proses pengujian ini deperlukan 2 orang pembuat batik dari perusahan batik Alisa Batik guna menentukan kelayakan pola motif batik yang dihasilkan untuk dapat dikomersialkan. Dalam merancang dan mengimplementasikan rancangan aplikasi, penulis menggunakan metode waterfall atau yang sering disebut dengan classic life cycle model. Model waterfall ini merupakan model klasik yang bersifat sistematis atau berurutan dalam membangaun perangkat lunak. Model tersebut meliputi beberapa tahapan yakni: (1) requirements definition, (2) system and software design, (3) implementation and unit testing dan (4) integration and system testing. Hasil analisis, implementasi dan pengujian pada penelitian ini adalah suatu Aplikasi Pembuatan Pola Motif Batik yang diimplementasikan menggunakan bahasa pemrograman Delphi. Dari data hasil angket uji coba pembuatan pola motif batik didapat bahwa sebagian besar motif batik yang diolah mampu atau layak untuk dikomersialkan. Berdasarkan hasil tersebut, Aplikasi Pembuatan Pola Motif Batik sangat membantu di dalam pembuatan pola motif batik oleh pengusaha batik sebelum akhirnya dicetak menjadi kain batik.  Kata Kunci: Pola Motif, Batik, Citra Digital.

Abstract

This study aims to design and develop an application that can be used to segment theimage based on texture information using Lacunarity measurements. The method used incalculating Lacunarity is Differential-Box Counting (DBC) method which was firstintroduced by Dong (2000).Implementation of Lacunarity-DBC method on this application produces an applicationcalled "Lacunarity MAP" developed by using programming language Borland Delphi 7. Thisapplication is only able to process RGB and Grayscale images with Bitmap format (*. BMP),and produces output in the form of grayscale images. On the application of "LacunarityMAP" there are three main processes, among others : Lacunarity value calculation in any sizewindow, segmentation of Lacunarity values and edge detection. Testing is done by trying outvarious kinds of images by entering a few parameters such as : box, window, and region.These parameters which will affect the final outcome segmentation of the images. Based onthe results obtained that software testing "Lacunarity MAP" is able to provide maximumresults on several images to include the size of the box : 3,5,11 and 13, while the windowsize: 6, 8, 10, 16, 20 and 22.

Abstract

This research aim (1) To design development and implement the practicum modules skills computer and information management by inquiry approach. Class X Multimedia SMK TI Bali Global Singaraja. (2) To find out the responds of the students Class X Multimedia SMK TI Bali Global Singaraja towards development of the practicum modules KKPI by inquiry approach.The kind of research that used in this research is (Research and Development or R&D) by the model development Dick and Carrey. This research involved the students class X Multimedia SMK TI Bali Global Singaraja year 2011/2012. The source of the students data gathered by using an interview method. The validation of the media study based on inquiry approach and also the students’ responds gathered by using questioner method. That gathered data analyzed descriptively.The development of practicum module computer skill and management by inquiry approach used some steps draft development. The result,of the analyzed data of the students’ responds showed that the percentage of the students who gave very positive responds 70%, the percentage of the students who gave positive responds 30% and there we negative or even very negative. The average score gathered from the students were 61. That score showed that the students respond the practicum module approach are on a very positive category.Keyword: Practicum Module, Inquiry, Computer Skill and Information Management.

Abstract

Limited number of expert and knowledge and terminology of coral reef that can not be applied generally to all types of coral, a difficulty in the identification of coral reef. This study aims to design and implement an expert system called the identification of coral reefsystem, which system is used to help faculty and students (non-experts) to perform the identification of coral reef that are found on coral reef in the waters of the island of Bali in an optimal deer and efficient in terms of time.This research is engineering a software system, which uses the stages of the procedure the System Development Life Cycle (SDLC). Stages of the SDLC procedure used consists of (1) phase of data collection by using the method of library research, observation and interviews, (2) requirements analysis phase of software that uses the method of certainty factor, (3) stages of design or software design, (4) stages of development of implementation of software, and (5) stages of testing.By using the PHP programming language which is a web-based expert system isexpected to identify coral reef can be used by multiple user without the limitations of space and time.Key words: coral reef, certainty factor
