Abstract

Utilizing the science and technology to support the process of teaching and learning in activities is one of many positive impacts of technology. The development of information technology is one of the technology advancements which can be applied and exploited in developing the knowledge. However, in Web Page Management subject in SMK Negeri 3 Singaraja, the teacher in the process of teaching and learning faced a problem of transferring the material to the students. Thus, developing a tutorial model of teaching and learning media was a significant step to develop teaching equipment in which it offers a computerizestudents friendly material explanation, and question and feedback giver.  Based on the problems faced in this study, the development of tutorial model of teaching and learning media by using Dreamweaver is compulsory in Web Page Management subject. There were several softwares used in making this program, namely: Macromedia Flash 8, Adobe Photoshop for editing the graphic, Cool Edit Pro 2 for editing the sound, Adobe Premiere Pro 1.5 and Camtasia 7 for editing video, Adobe Dreamweaver Cs3, Macromedia Dreamweaver, and Xampp as testing softwares.   Dreamweaver tutorial instructional media models have different functions in each menu. Like the menu that contains the material subject matter, which has a video tutorial video, as a tool for teaching and evaluating students' abilities test equipment. From the test media of learning dreamwaver to the students, the results showed scattered on the category of student response was very positive 2.77%, 97.23% positive, enough 0%, 0% less positive and very less positive 0%. From the results of these studies are very positive student responses categorized.

Abstract

This research was expected tohelp the community in obtaining information related to the alert warning that the spreadof Dengue Hemorrhagic Fever in the area when the reporting of cases.This research was the development of an application was made to build a RegionBased Warning System Of Dengue Hemorrhagic Fever Spreading By SMS GatewayWith Haversine Method Formula, where the application will be able to accommodatethe data report of Dengue Hemorrhagic Fever, warning Dengue Hemorrhagic Feverdata, and user data that has been registered. The Development Of Region BasedWarning System As The Spread Of Dengue Hemorrhagic Fever SMS Gateway BasedBy Haversine Method Formula uses Waterfall model and was designed using the DataFlow Diagram (DFD).The Application Of Region Based Warning System Of Dengue HemorrhagicFever Spreading By SMS Gateway With Haversine Method Formula was implementedusing the programming language PHP and MySQL as the database as well asapplication to run Gammu SMS Gateway. After the testing process, it is concluded thatthe application provides the information Dengue Fever warning alert is sent via SMStext to take into account the coverage area according to the flight range of Aedesaegypti.

Abstract

This research aimed at: (1) designing the application of hospital service based on SMS gateway at general hospital in Buleleng regency; (2) implementing the application of hospital service based on SMS gateway at general hospital in Buleleng regency. The output of this system would be an application which gives health services to the patients or other people about medical check-up schedule of the outpatients, doctor’s present list in the hospital, information of the patients’ room, and information about health support like health education, social services and information about government health programs (ASKES, JKBM, and Jamkesmas).  In designing this application used Waterfall Method, or as known as Classic Life Cycle Model. This Waterfall Model is a classic model which systematic or consecutively in constructing software. This model consists of several stages. Those are (1) requirements definition, (2) system and software design, (3) implementation and unit testing, (4) integration and system testing, and (5) operation and maintenance.   The result of this study is the application of hospital service based on SMS gateway which was implemented with PHP, MySQL as the database server and Gammu as the tool server of SMS Gateway. The result of the test that had been done showed that this application run well as expected. With the presence of this application, public services at general hospital in Buleleng regency were increased. The patients or other people were easy to get up-to-date information from the hospital through their cell phone.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui (1) pengaruh penerapan mediapembelajaran berbasis model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe NHT terhadap hasilbelajar KKPI kelas kelas X Multimedia 3 SMK Negeri 1 Sukasada tahun ajaran2011/2012, (2) respon siswa penerapan media pembelajaran berbasis modelpembelajaran kooperatif tipe NHT.Jenis penelitian ini adalah eksperimen semu (quasi eksperimen) denganrancangan penelitian Posttest-Only Control Grup Design. Populasi penelitian iniadalah seluruh siswa kelas X SMK Negeri 1 Sukasada tahun ajaran 2011/2012.Sebagai sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah kelas X Multimedia 1 dan XMultimedia 3 yang berjumlah 61 orang. Kelas X Multimedia 3 digunakan sebagaikelas eksperimen dan X Multimedia 1 sebagai kelas kontrol. Terdapat dua jenisvariabel dalam penelitian ini yaitu (1) variabel bebas adalah media pembelajaranyang digunakan, dan (2) variabel terikat adalah hasil belajar siswa. Pengumpulandata dilakukan dengan menggunakan metode tes pilihan ganda untuk mengukurranah kognitif dan uji keterampilan untuk mengukur ranah psikomotor. Data hasilbelajar kemudian dianalisis dengan melakukan uji prasyarat yang meliputi ujinormalitas, uji homogenitas dan uji t. Sedangkan untuk respon dan metode angket.Berdasarkan hasil analisis data yang diperoleh, uji normalitas danhomogenitas kedua kelompok berdistribusi normal dan tidak homogen. (1) Nilairata-rata hasil belajar kelompok siswa dengan media pembelajaran NHT adalah40,32 dan memiliki standar deviasi 2,89. Nilai rata-rata hasil belajar kelompoksiswa dengan media pembelajaran konvensional adalah 32,8 dengan standardeviasi 4,28. Hal ini menunjukan bahwa hasil belajar siswa dengan mediapembelajaran NHT memiliki nilai yang lebih tinggi dari media pembelajarankonvensional, (2) diperoleh rata-rata respon siswa sebesar 60,84, denganpersentase respon siswa sebesar 25,81% merespon sangat positif, 70,97%merespon positif, dan 3,23% merespon cukup postif terhadap penerapan mediapembelajaran NHT.

Abstract

Art work has various meanings based on the viewers. Every art work is created by human’s insting which has value and should be praised. The right of intelectuality or “HAKI” is the means to price and save every art which is coming from human’s insting. “HAKI” can price a music as an art. The music flagiarism causes the ancienty in the musician side because it is not beneficial for them in a side of “HAKI”. However, there are some views and supports toward that flagiarism such as similar idea, inspirations, admire the work that was traced, and so forth.  People are difficult to know for certainly the similarity or resemblance to the work of art even more amount of music. This thing then becomes a case in a musical flagiarism.  Based on these problems occurred with an idea to utilize a computerized system to find a resemblance to a piece of music. A computerized system used for detecting the level of resistance factors in a long time, matching the constant accuracy and high speed. This system is based on pattern of human’s  thinking (algorithm) to detect musical of similarity. This system was developed by PHP script, AJAX as the programming language, and MySQL as the database processing. The result of the system can use algorithm as the pattern of human’s  thinking for detecting musical similarity. Beside that, this system is also able to collect the music based on some criteria. This system can be working on monophonic music. This system can help the people in detecting the music similarity and as the solution of the problem so that the music flagiarism can be minimalized.

Abstract

This study aimed to: (1) design a prototype geographic information system productive and non-productive land, (2) implement a geographical information system prototype productive and non-productive land. In the design and implementation, the researcher used AHP (Analysis Hierarchy Process) which has 8 stages: (1) defining the problem and determine a solution, (2) creating a hierarchical structure, (3) making  pairs comparison matrix, (4) Perform pairs comparisons, (5) calculating the Eigen values and tested for consistency, (6) repeating steps 3,4, and 5 for all levels of hierarchy, (7) calculating the eigen vectors of each matrix comparisons, and (8) checking the consistency of the hierarchy. The input of these applications in the form of the data fields in each district, while the output in the form of the results of the calculation of the percentage of the land. The testing process used black box (functional) testing and white box (conceptual / structural) testing.The type of research used in this study was Research and Development (R & D). Development of geographical information systems productive and nonproductive land in Bali used the web-based Waterfall model with time allocation around six months from September 2012 to January 2013.The result of this research was the Web Based Geographic Information Systems Productive and Non Productive Land in Bali were implemented into Web-based programming language PHP. Based on trial results, it can be seen that these applications were able to perform calculations AHP to determine the percentage for each field. So it can be concluded that the "Web Based Geographic Information Systems and Non Productive Land in Bali' can help people to determine the feasibility of land in an area.

Abstract

This study aims to improve students’ learning outcomes on the subject of Information and Communication Technology (ICT) by applying Accelerated Learning (AL) model. AL utilizes visual, auditory, and kinesthetic (VAK) approach as well as   students' response to evaluate its application.The study was conducted at SMAN 2 Singaraja with participants from X6 grade  students (36 students), school year 2012/2013. The design of this research is Classroom Action Research (CAR), which consists of 2 cycles. The data collected in this study is the result of students’ learning and response to the application of AL on ICT subjects. The student learning outcomes data collected through cognitive test and affective and psychomotor observation sheet, while the students' response data was collected via enclosed sheet questionnaires.The result shows that (1) there is an increase in students’ learning outcomes. This is evident from the classical completion that the students obtained: 52,78% and 80,00% in the first and second cycle respectively. The learning outcomes have increased by 27,22%. (2) The average students’ response to the application of the AL model is positive: 45.62% of the questionnaires. The researcher concludes that the application of the AL model which uses the VAK approach can improve the learning outcomes on the subjects of ICT. Furthermore, it has also received a positive response from the students.

Abstract

The purpose of this research was (1) to find out the effect of implementation photography learning media based on learning inquiry foward student learning result  at xi-mm smk 1 mas in the academic year 2012/2013, (2) To find out the response of students of class XI-TMM SMK N 1 Mas towards the implementation of inquiry-based learning media photography in the process of learning photography.The type of this research was a quasi-experimental research with a research design that used nonequivalent pretest-posttest control design. Population of this research was a class XI student of SMK Negeri 1 Mas MM academic year 2012/2013 with a sample using MM2 as a student of class XI and XI MM2 experimental group as the control group with the total number of students by 78 students. At the beginning of learning first given a pre-test on a sample of second-class multiple-choice test and a final study sample of both classes were given a multiple choice test (Cognitive) using the same instrument. The test has been analyzed using qualitative analysis and quantitative analysis. Data collection was performed by the method of multiple-choice test to measure cognitive domains. The method tests were conducted to obtain data on the final value after being treated in the experimental group and the control group.There are a prerequisite test to be done that is, test for normality and homogeneity tests. Data were analyzed using ANOVA,Based on the results of normality and test homogeneity. Of the data of the two groups of data obtained both normal and homogeneous samples. By using the ANOVA hypothesis testing, the results of calculations obtained while the value of F = 68.326 Theoretical = 3.97, by> F Theoretical then Ho is rejected and Ha accepted. For as much as 34.21% of student responses students gave very positive responses, 63.16% of students responded positively, 2.63% of students responded quite positively.

Abstract

The aims of this class action research are: (1) to know the enhancement of the TIK learning motivation of the student of VII A2 grade at SMP 6 Singaraja by using metacognitive learning model, (2) to know the TIK learning result of VII A2 grade at SMP 6 Singaraja by using metacognitive learning model and (3) to know the response of VII A2 grade at SMP 6 Singaraja in using metacognitive learning model in TIK learning.This research is a class action research consists of two cycles. Each cycle has four steps that are action plan, action implementation, observation and evaluation, and reflection. The research subject is the 35 students of VII A2 grade at SMP 6 Singaraja; while the research object are 1 learning motivation of the student, (2) the result of the learning, 3 the student response in TIK learning by the application of metacognitive learning model. The data collection of the result TIK learning are collected by test method and observation, and also the data of student response are collected by questionnaire report. The data collection are analyzed using descriptive analysis.The results of this research indicate that the learning result of students has increased, in the first cycle for the average value of learning result and students classical completeness percentage that is equal to 73,76% and 68,57 % in the second cycle to be 77,76 and 77,14%. Similarly students motivation has increased, in the first cycle is  the average score was 58,71 in the high category on the second cycle  was 61,14 in the high category. Besides that, the student response in using metacognitive learning model is positive to average score 62,37.

Abstract

This application development is aimed to classify the quality of tomatoesusing digital image processing, so that the quality of tomatoes classification process can be done more effectively and efficiently. The use of new techniques in agriculture will help to optimize agricultural production. Department of Agriculture in cooperation with the Bogor Agricultural Institute (IPB) has developed an application of Pontianak Oranges classification by size and color using image processing aimed to evaluate the quality of the fruit by size and color of the fruit.An effective and efficient quality classifications process of tomato is required to maximize the production of tomatoes. The Quality classification process of the tomatoes using digital image processing with connected component labeling algorithm would compute the amount of tomato and the number of pixels of each tomato. The number of pixels and weight samples first inserted to the regression equation to find the relationship between the number of pixels and the weight of the tomato. The tested tomato image then inserted to determine the number of pixels the of the tomato image. By using the regression equation formed before and the number of pixel the tomato, will be known the weight and quality of each tested tomato is.This application implemented in a desktop based software which isdeveloped using Borland Delphi 7. This application uses a web camera (webcam) to take image of tomatoes both the sample and the test fruit. The images obtained are then processed so the quality of tested tomatoes can be seen.
