Lighting becomes one of the important factors to support facilities for teaching and learning study. STT PLN building is one of the buildings use as classroom for teaching and learning study that will improve the quality of facilities. Standar lighting in the class room 250 lux base on SNI 03-6197-2000.Research was conducted in the STT PLN building which was used as a class room. Activities include measuring ligh in class room, measuring the width, height and length of s room by using a meter to determine the distance between armatures in the calss room. Solar cells are a technology that converts sunlight into electricity, therefore if there is a shadow that covers the surface of the module it will cause a decrease in energy production, therefore this study aims to see the impact of shadows on the module by analyzing the output per PLTS array, then the shadow source removed. The analysis shows that there is an increase in output at 06.00-12.00 in array 2 by 48% above the increase in average output which is only around 24%, as well as in the output style that is not far adrift from other arrays with only 1 % deviation remaining At 12.00-18.00 changes in output can also be observed in Array 4 by 46% above the average increase of only 39%, as well as the output style with a deviation from 21% to 1%.

This tool detects turbidity by paying attention to the resistance value on the LDR sensor that is the less light received by the LDR sensor, the higher the resistance so that at some level will appear on the LCD whether classified as turbid, very turbid, clear or very clear. While the drain pump will work if the water is considered unhealthy for fish, for example, turbid water is even very turbid and the pump will die if the ultrasonic sensor has got the maximum distance ie in this system it is> 21 cm Filling pump will work if pump 1 is dead and will die if has reached the minimum distance of <= 7 cm. While for the PH value can be seen through a probe dipped in the pool and the results can be known on the LCD, if the water is detected to have an abnormal PH then the pump will drain automatically until the water PH state becomes normal and the automatic feeder system is by adjusting the delay of the servo motor. From the tests carried out, it was found that this tool can detect the level of turbidity of water whether the water is classified as very turbid, turbid, less clear, clear and if what is detected is very turbid then the pump will drain and refill automatically. This tool can also detect the PH value of water which will command the drain pump to work if the water PH is not normal as programmed. and can feed automatically whether 3,4,5 or 6 times a day.

Dissipation Factor atau Tan delta (δ) merupakan salah satu metode pengujian untuk mengetahui kondisi isolasi transformator, namun dalam penggunaannya muncul 2 prosedur pengukuran yang berbeda, pertama pengukuran menggunakan jumper dimaksutkan untuk pemerataan aliran arus(paralel), yang kedua tanpa jumper beranggapan bahwa didalam belitan sudah terhubung sehingga tidak perlu menggunakan jumper lagi, untuk mengetahui prosedur pengujian mana yng menghasilkan data lebih valid dilakukan pengujian dengan 2 variabel berbeda, pertama pengujian terhadap perubahan frekuensi yang kedua terhadap perubahan tegangan, rata-rata hasil pengujian didapatkan nilai dissipation factor untuk pemakaian jumper sebesar 0.5% sedangkan tanpa jumper 30%, dari sini dapat disimpulkan bahwa tanpa jumper mengakibatkan tambahan dielectric losses dari masing-masing fasa dan juga arus yang mengalir pada rangkain tanpa jumper lebih bersifat resistif, sehingga mengakibatkan nilainya menjadi tinggi dan mengakibatkan pengukuran menjadi tidak valid.

Current Transfomer(CT) accuracy for big customers is very important. Constraints Execution of CT accuracy testing on big customers is quite a lot of customers and scattered, and longtime outage duration. Development of electronic kwh Meter for checking on-site CT customers as a solution to these problems. The onsite CT measurement method is carried out by comparing the primary and secondary of the CT by utilizing the current coil on the electronic kWh Meter. This method has several advantages, lower costs, easy procurement, easy and fast operation, so the duration of outages can be minimized. This method is very supportive in the implementation of the Revenue Assurance program.

Lightning surges often occur on the 500 kV SUTET (Extra High Voltage Air Line) transmission line. Therefore a reliable protection system design is needed to minimize damage due to lightning surge disruption and to maintain continuity in power flow. The authors use the concept of lightning performance and arrester performance as parameters for its reliability design. In this research, the concepts of lightning performance and arrester performance are used as parameters for their reliability design. In this case, the high category IKL (Isokreaunic Level) is used, which is 91 strikes / km2 / year. In determining the design of substation equipment, the performance of arresters at SUTET 500 kV is also analyzed by using the margin protection formula. Based on the arrester performance analysis and calculation of the protection margin, the protection system in GITET (Extra High Voltage Main Station) is more appropriate to use MOV EXLIM 550 kV arresters, power transformers (BIL: 1425kV), CVT (BIL: 1550 kV), CT (BIL: 1550 kV), BSI (BIL: 1550 kV), and CB (BIL: 1550 kV) with a protection margin of more than 20%

Hydroelectric power plant is one of the power plants that uses renewable energy sources with a low cost of production, in addition to providing a large enough profit for PLN, it can also be a source of revenue to cover production costs in meeting the system needs, so that the hydropower continues to operate optimally, Currently the Tanggari Hydroelectric Power Plant's special operating pattern can be approved not yet maximally based on the number of maintenance hours reaching 3-5 hours / month, this causes potential losses because most jam hours are carried out during the rainy season Turbine bearing temperature conditions continue to increase considering the poor air conditions associated special problem for hydropower. In this journal the author brings one of the breakthrough ideas to overcome this by implementing the Redesign of the Hydro Turbine Cooling System Installation to facilitate backwashing so that it can change maintenance patterns from offline to online. Implementation results can provide benefits because hydropower no longer needs to perform maintenance on the cooling system with offline mode so that hydropower can operate more optimally.

ABSTRACT Dummy Load is used as an imitation load on the loading practice on a PLTD or PLTS generator. The existing dummy load currently installed is the conventional resistive dummy load type which is dominant at active power. The problem is that the dummy load does not yet represent the actual actual load condition, namely the RLC load. The power consumption by the dummy load is controlled by varying the firing angle ‘α’ of the thyristor- pair [1] Therefore it is necessary to improve the function of the dummy load by improving and developing the design and construction. The design of the construction improvement and development will be carried out on the main components and the digital computerized monitoring and control system for its operation. In this paper, the microcontroller-based electronic load controller (ELC) as a voltage and frequency stabilizer is designed when the dummy load is operated. This tool can prevent damage due to the frequency and output voltage of the distribution system. The result of the reconstruction is to make the PLTD / PLTS dummy load that has the ability of dummy load RLC balanced load / unbalanced load for operating loading practices, where in operation it uses a digital computerized control system that can programmed manually / auto and has a facility / feature event recorder. This research can be used to determine the quality and improvement of the electrical system in the Ketapang State Polytechnic rectorate building. Electrical interference can cause electrical equipment not working to the maximum which can cause permanent damage to the electrical equipment itself. The disturbance can be in the form of harmonic waves. Both of these electrical problems are very difficult for me to improve the quality of electric power. This research uses ETAP 16.00. Improvement efforts in the simulation is to use several filters that will be selected as the best filter that can reduce harmonic waves. Before using the filter the total harmonic distortion (THD) value reached 7.1% THD. After answering with several types of filters namely a single filter set, by-pass, and high-pass (not named) that can reduce harmonics to the maximum is a single filter set with a value of 2.63% THD which means the value is still in the range of THD value added which is a maximum of 5% THD.

Corona can occur in SUTET because SUTET carries a high enough electric current and voltage, this causes excessive electrical pressure that is not proportional to the breakdown strength of the air around the conductor so that there will be a phenomenon where the electric field will collide with free electrons in the air and will form ionisations in the form of new ions and electrons. This process will continue as long as there are currents and voltages on the extra-high-voltage network. This certainly will affect the surrounding environment through which SUTET is included, among others, interference with radio waves (Radio Interference). The addition of the number of sub conductors is considered more effective in reducing corona losses and radio interference in each wicket than increasing the distance of the conductor to the ground. The impact of corona on a 500 kV double-channel SUTET on radio interference in the Greater Jakarta area is still within reasonable limits because it is still below the IEEE standard of 40 dB.
