Abstract

PT. PLN (PERSERO) as a state-owned company responsible in the electricity sector is required to improve the quality of electricity transmission. In the transmission of electrical power to consumers will be got losses of power. Raising the voltage is an alternative to this problem but it creates new problems because the higher the voltage has increased the corona will occur. The impact of the corona in addition to damaging equipment, noise, and disturbing radio waves, the corona also causes power losses that are proportional to the length of the transmission line. This study uses a quantitative method, by calculating the corona power losses by comparing 4 different cross-sectional areas of the conductor and 4 different air temperatures. The results of this study found that the smaller the cross-sectional area of the conductor the power losses due to corona are smaller, conversely the greater the cross-sectional area the greater the power losses. At the smallest cross-sectional area of 282.6 mm2, the power losses that occurred were 2.013% and at the largest cross-sectional area of 378.7 mm2, the power losses were 5.251%. While the influence of air temperature, the lowest corona losses occur at 29 0C which are 1,223,886 kW and the biggest occur at 24 0C which are 1,373,419 kW, so the higher the air temperature the smaller the corona losses, conversely the lower the air temperature than the higher the corona losses that occur.

Abstract

Microhydro power plant (MPP) is a small-scale power plant that uses water energy. The process of energy change occurs in a device called a synchronous generator. when the synchronous generator is given an arbitrary load, then the voltage will change. These results cause voltage and frequency instability. This research was conducted to analyze the voltage and frequency instability in MPP. The research method used in this research is descriptive quantitative approach in the village of Soko Kembang, Petungkriyono District, Pekalongan Regency, Central Java. This study provides an overview and explanation of the problems regarding the voltage and frequency instability of Micro Hydro Power Plants. The results of this study are the highest and lowest voltage / frequency instability values, namely 235 volts / 51 Hz and 160 volts / 44 Hz, due to the influence of changes in load current, which can affect the rotational speed of the generator changes, resulting in unstable voltage and frequency generated by the generator, the rotational speed of the generator changes, resulting in unstable voltage and frequency generated by the generator. The solution is add water power to rotate the shaft of the turbine and generator to be tighter, so that it can reduce the value of the decrease in electric power by losses to the turbine and generator. Large electric power can increase voltage and frequency without having to adjust the load, and the need for improvement of the ELC system in order to get a more effective value of voltage and frequency stability.

Abstract

The use of electric load in km. Sumber Natuna against capacity generators on every operation condition good day as well as night is different – different. The results of usage of electric load at km. Sumber Natuna include lighting, installation of aircraft electrical and motor-electric motor, with the overall power of 187.567 Watt. Maximum electric load usage at night that is at the time of the arrest operation in Fishing Ground of 169,521 Watt with power effectiveness of 84.7% and during the day on the way back towards the harbour i.e. of 126,232 Watt with power effectiveness of 63.1%. The maintenance activity performed often plying consists of: an examination of the State of the generator visually, cleaning the outside of the generator, checks on excessive heat on the generator. To keep the generators as power plants on board can work optimally and not much experience constraints, then the generator must be supported by the activities of care of components that work well and planned.

Abstract

In the transmission and distribution system at PT. Krakatau Daya Listrik there is a security system created. In this case Circuit Breaker (CB), which is a security installation of the electricity network. CB that is used is GIS (Gas Insulated Switchgear) type where CB uses SF6 gas (Sulfurhexaflouride) as an insulating medium to extinguish the arc. This research itself aims to understand how the 150 kV GIS AD20 On / Off Circuit Breaker process control system at PT. Krakatau Daya Listrik and how the work processes, instrumentation, advantages and disadvantages and maintenance of the 150 kV GIS AD20 Circuit Breaker at PT. Krakatau Electric Power. Using research methods directly in the field with interviews and analysis. The results of this study are in the form of an understanding of CB operating systems that can be turned on both locally and via remote control and also the results of routine CB maintenance as an indication of the appropriateness of the equipment for operation so that from the associated analysis can be known the strengths and weaknesses of the device, especially the circuit breaker type GIS.

Abstract

ABSTRACT The arise of partial discharge in isolation of the winding stator generator is thing that general because existence ageing and excessive stress. Partial discharge in isolation of the winding stator occur in the core slot area or endwinding area. The problem that occur in isolation of the winding stator generator is the presence of corona and high partial discharge in the endwinding area caused by ineffective monitoring of partial discharge. This research discusses about that occurrence corona and partial discharge, and the effectiveness of repairing insulation of the stator winding that performed during overhaul. The analysis methods used is comparative, characteristics and trending, and linear regression to predict the age of operation worthiness in isolation of the winding stator. The results of the analysis showed that, the cause of corona and high partial discharge due to damage to the isolation surface consequence contamination from bearing seal oil which have seepage and load & thermal cycling, with the age of operation worthiness shortest isolation of the winding stator during ± 2 years 1 month 21 days or only increased 14 days after overhaul. Keywords : partial discharge, corona, linear regression, age of worthiness isolation of the winding ABSTRAK Timbulnya partial discharge pada isolasi belitan stator generator merupakan hal yang umum terjadi karena adanya penuaan dan tekanan yang berlebih. Partial discharge pada isolasi belitan stator terjadi di area slot inti atau area endwinding. Permasalahan yang terjadi pada isolasi belitan stator generator adalah adanya korona dan partial discharge tinggi pada area endwinding yang disebabkan karena kurang efektifnya monitoring terhadap partial discharge. Penelitian ini membahas tentang terjadinya korona dan partial discharge, serta efektifitas perbaikan isolasi belitan stator generator yang dilakukan saat overhaul. Metode analisa yang digunakan adalah komparasi, karateristik dan trending, serta regresi linear untuk memprediksi usia kelayakan operasi isolasi belitan stator. Hasil analisa menunjukkan bahwa, penyebab terjadinya korona dan partial discharge tinggi karena adanya kerusakan pada permukaan isolasi akibat kontaminasi minyak dari seal oil bearing 5 yang mengalami rembesan dan load & thermal cycling, dengan usia kelayakan operasi tersingkat isolasi belitan stator selama ± 2 tahun 1 bulan 21 hari atau hanya mengalami kenaikan 14 hari setelah overhaul. Abstract

The Mulia Baru Water Treatment Plant (IPA) is one of 6 Water Treatment Plants owned by the Ketapang Regency PDAM that is indicated to use a large amount of electrical energy. From the data obtained during one year (January to December 2017), the average monthly electricity consumption is 128,016,667 kWh with an average.Drinking Water Production Volume per month of 144,119,833 m3. Therefore the average Specific Energy Consumption (SEC) value for 2017 is 0.89. Through the application of the Peak Clipping and Strategic Concervation DSM program, a decrease in peak load occurs at a time interval between 17:00 and 22:00, in this condition a decrease in load of 0.47 (%).For greater savings, it is necessary to schedule the operation of large loads at peak load times.

Abstract

Power system protection is one of the most important aspect in power system operation. Power system protection is an attempt to widely prevent the fault over the whole system. One of the power system protection schemes that have been applied by PT. PLN (Persero) to 150 kV Jawa Bali subsystem is Over Load Shedding of Interbus Transformer 500/150 kV. Over Load Shedding scheme has correctly to be set to prevent overload on secondary side of IBT 500/150 kV. Black Out occured on January 2, 2018 at 150 kV subsystem of 1,3 Gandul – 2 Kembangan – Muara Karang is one of the impact caused by incorrect-setting of Over Load Shedding scheme. The purposes of this research are to review the initial setting of Over Load Shedding scheme and to reset it as a follow-up of Black Out event occured in this subsystem. This research uses qualitative method by analyzing the overload points obtained by the simulation of DIgSILENT 14.3.1. This thesis results the new Over Load Scheme setting of IBT 500/150 kV 1 and 3 Gandul those are 3 seconds of pick-up times for the first step and 3,5 seconds of pick-up times for the second step wherein 410,98 MW is necessarily to be shed in 2 steps. Meanwhile, the new Over Load Shedding setting of IBT 500/150kV 2 Kembangan are 2 seconds of pick-up times for the first step and 2,5 seconds of pick-up times for the second step wherein 378,23 MW is necessarily to be shed in 2 steps.

Abstract

Gagasan dibalik SRAN (Single Radio Access Network) sangat sederhana yaitu dapat mengoperasikan berbagai teknologi radio pada satu platform hardware multiguna. Dalam bentuk pengembangan terbaru, SRAN terdiri dari satu instalasi radio dengan common transport dan sistem operasional dan manajemen dengan keamanan terpadu di seluruh RATs (Radio Access Technologies). Selain itu, SRAN dapat mengoordinasikan dan mengoperasikan berbagai RAT secara terpadu serta mampu menggunakan RAT yang ada untuk menghasilkan kinerja terbaik dengan mengoordinasikan keuntungan masing-masing RAT. Modularitas adalah enabler utama yang meningkatkan kapasitas sesuai dengan permintaan dan spektrum baru dan spektrum yang ada dapat digunakan lebih efisien. Sumatra Utara – site DRDTOBINJAI2 adalah lokasi yang dipilih untuk dimodernisasi dengan solusi SRAN. Hasil implementasi pada site tersebut setelah diuji dan dianalisa, SRAN dapat menyederhanakan penggunaan hardware dari 5 modul sistem dan 5 modul transmisi menjadi 3 modul sistem dan 2 modul transmisi dengan menambahkan teknologi LTE di band 900 dan 2100 pada site tersebut. Efisiensi pada operasional meningkat melalui network sharing, efisiensi energi jaringan radio meningkat sekitar 27% dan software dapat digunakan untuk menentukan fungsi hardware agar lebih fleksibel, performa lebih baik dan meningkatkan efektifitas biaya. Dengan melakukan drive test, SRAN terbukti meningkatkan throughput pada uplink hingga 10 Mbps dan mengurangi waktu delay dari >70 ms menjadi 40 ms.

Abstract

Knowing the level of intensity of energy consumption (IKE) in the FKIP Untirta building using the energy audit method for achieving energy efficiency. The data used in data collection in the form of electricity usage data, building area data and observations made by researchers. Analysis of the data used in this study is to use the formula of energy consumption intensity. The results showed the IKE value of the CB FKIP Untirta building was 254.5 kWh/m2. With these results, it can be seen that the IKE value in the CB FKIP Untirta building is still inefficient. This is based on ASEAN-USAID parameters which range at 240 kWh/m2. Based on electrical energy consumption in the CB FKIP Untirta building there is an opportunity for energy saving or energy saving solutions that are replacing TL lamps with Led lights or by replacing TL lamps that are smaller watts and in terms of air conditioning or air conditioning load replacing R32 refrigerant with R32 refrigerant mixture and The R290 has proven to be quite efficient in terms of savings and energy efficiency. And the duration of use of electrical energy.

Abstract

ABSTRACT Achievement of the performance of the 2017 contract target of PT PLN (Persero) Central Kalimantan UIP, namely 54 contracted procurement packages and in 2018 there were 57 procurement targets with a temporary budget ceiling of Rp. 1,501,933,269,600.00. So as to achieve the 2018 contracted procurement target it will have an impact on the achievement of the 2019 Commercial Operation Date (COD) efforts needed to accelerate the implementation of goods and services. One of the basic knowledge (common knowledge) for acceleration in a knowledge management construction starts from adding three elements, including: labor, equipment, and overtime / overtime. After a Root Cause Problem Solver (RCPS) and priority scale selection process are carried out, two priority Problem Solving results have never been implemented as an effort to accelerate implementation, namely Parallel Work with Person In Charge (PIC) Method and Monitoring of Procurement Implementation Schedules with S-Curve Analysis .
