Abstract

This study aims to find out how the participation and results of household waste management by the Mawar Merah community through the waste bank in Tugurejo Village. This study uses a qualitative method with a case study approach, the data obtained is through interviews, observation and documentation. The results of this study indicate that: (1) The role of the red rose community in waste management through waste banks is very large. This refers to 2 (two) roles, namely the role of coaching and the role of mentoring. (2) The results of waste management through the red rose community in the waste bank are organic waste (remaining vegetables, rotten fruits) with soil decomposing products (compost, MOL, and POC), then inorganic waste is made into works of art high selling value such as bags, chairs, flower vases, curtains etc.

Abstract

Improving the community's economy aims to improve the standard of living of the community so that they can live prosperously, safely and prosperously. This is certainly very useful for the community so that they can always be in harmony and peace. Through the process of community empowerment, namely Community empowerment aims to empower people in the community to realize the full potential of their skills. The society in question is a society where no one is unproductive or unemployed. Unemployment is a situation where members of the labor force do not have a job and are not currently actively looking for it. Unemployment can be overcome, one of which can be done through community empowerment by developing a cricket livestock business. With cheap and easy costs, crickets are the right choice for people to improve their economy so they can always live safely and prosper.

Abstract

The literacy level of the Indonesian people is quite low. This is based on the Indonesian Digital Literacy Index organized by the Ministry of Communication and Informatics and Katadata Insight Center (KIC) in 2021, Indonesia's digital literacy index is at 3.49 and Digital Safety gets an index score of 3.12. In this low literacy culture, it is hoped that it will not have bad implications for children. Because according to data from the Ministry of Communication and Information, generation Z and Y internet access lasts more than 6 hours. These data show that digital media exposure in children is much greater and of higher intensity. In the development of literacy in several major cities in Indonesia, Banten occupies the 9th position for Literacy but in terms of the fulfillment of infrastructure, it is ranked 5th at the bottom. Children as the next generation to get appropriate exposure and awareness of the importance of literacy. In this study FGD and interview techniques were used as well as observation in collecting data packaged in descriptive qualitative data. From this data it is known that the urgency of literacy in children cannot be carried out without support from various parties. Literacy suggestions must be raised at the nearest scale to provide significant awareness. Data shows that parents are the main center of children's activities and a trusted source for children, besides that friends and education are the main supporting parts. However, the existence of the media is an important variable in children's awareness of literacy.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the phenomenon of hijrah in marginal communities, especially the underground Sufism community. This community is very concerned about the fate of Punk children around Jabodetabek. On this basis, the researcher was moved to conduct research on the meaning of 'hijrah' for the Punk children of the Underground Tasawuf Community. This research uses the phenomenological method in examining the theme of this discussion. The results of this study indicate that there are two motives for hijrah, first; awareness for wrong behavior and family motives. Meanwhile, hijrah means moving to the sea of ​​knowledge, changing attitudes and improving the quality of worship, cleaning up from heart disease, forgiving and being devoted to parents.

Abstract

The ongoing crisis during the pandemic has put even more pressure on MSMEs to survive so they can still make sales. However, circumstances like this also make not a few MSMEs have to go out of business. As MSME actors, there are many factors that can support a business to keep it running, especially during a pandemic like this. One of the most important factors is the marketing strategy. This research was conducted using a qualitative method. Data collection was carried out through observation, interviews and document research and related previous literature studies. There are many ways that MSME players in Balaraja can do to survive during a pandemic like this. Every MSME actor has his own way according to the goods being sold. The findings in this study refer to how to implement target buyer segmentation, which is the first and most important thing before running a business, convincing buyers that our products are safe and of good quality, because quality determines how much sales increase, businesses must innovate, with innovation make the products sold have their own characteristics, have a good relationship with customers, because the customer is the one that will make the business survive, make attractive promos, understand digital marketing and implement digital marketing in MSMEs.

Abstract

The increase in the da'wah movement in Indonesia is marked by many religious studies, but lately da'wah is often misunderstood in some circles. In the reality of everyday life, we often hear, read, and even see someone or a group feeling that they have done da'wah amaliyah. In fact, what is being done is still a lot of inequality, for example we see that there are still some cases of hate speech carried out by preachers which lead to the legal realm due to preaching that does not reflect Islamic values ​​because they feel they have power in the form of authority to spread threats and hatred through da'wah. delivered to the mad'u, as if the da'wah of Islam looks very scary. This kind of situation must be immediately presented with Islamic da'wah models that save and soothe The research was carried out using a phenomenological-critical approach by looking at how socio-religious phenomena are in the reality of everyday life. Sources of data that are discussed in this study using library research obtained from books, journal articles, websites, and through reading on social media. Basically, da'wah is an obligation inherent in every Muslim, a strategy is needed in da'wah by developing several models of da'wah that are very relevant to the realities of social life in the era of globalization. This is done to make each of us aware that we can spread da'wah messages with kindness so as not to damage the good image of Islamic da'wah which provides peace and safety for all people.

Abstract

This study is done because there are still many problems or conflicts due to diversity in the community environment such as cultural differences, differences between individuals, social changes, and so on. It can be said to be a potential because Indonesia has abundant wealth, both natural and cultural and language wealth. This method uses a quantitative approach, the method used is a Literature (library research) study used by collecting data by looking for sources from various books, articles, journals and research. The results and discussion of this study show that philosophy is very active in making demonization of the society. But from the results concluded that philosophy plays an important role in aligning community diversity by providing frameworks to understand and respect different world perspectives and views such as, understanding the nature of diversity, developing critical thinking skills, fostering ethics and moral, creating the same language. Philosophy helps the community to appreciate the values and importance of different experiences of society and to recognize the value and importance of diversity. By questioning the assumptions and examining the fundamental values and principles that guide the mind and behavior of the community, philosophy helps identify and challenge tendencies that perpetuate inequality and discrimination.

Abstract

In general, the aim of this research is to determine the role of the Department of Industry and Trade in developing small and medium industries in the economy of the people of Serdang Bedagai Regency. As well as what the condition of SMEs there is, and also the challenges faced by the department and industry players in developing the community economy in Serdang Berdagai. This type of research is qualitative with a qualitative descriptive approach method to obtain an in-depth picture (description). Data was obtained through interviews, documentation studies and observations. The research informants consisted of five, namely: the Head of the Department of Industry and Trade, Serdang Berdagai Regency, his Secretary, Industrial Staff, and two SMEs. Data analysis techniques use data reduction, data presentation and drawing conclusions. The results of the research show that the role played by the Department of Industry and Trade is quite influential in developing the Small and Medium Industry community in Serdang Berdagai Regency. With the state of Small and Medium Industries recorded in 1985 there were industries in Serdang Berdagai Regency. There are many roles created by the Department as facilitators, regulators and catalysts, where these roles include helping SMEs to improve the community's economy. However, it is inevitable that there will be obstacles that occur, the obstacles found in the field are a lack of insight into technology, limited community personnel from the Department of Industry and Trade and limited sources of capital.

Abstract

The Joint Business Group (KUBE) is one of the fishing community institutions that has a role in developing fisheries and empowerment businesses. KUBE as a non governmental organization to improve the insight and competence of its members in preparing planning, management, and financial arrangements to increase fishermen's income. The purpose of the study was to determine the role of the joint business group (KUBE) in empowering fishing communities in building awareness of the Alu Naga village community. The study used descriptive qualitative research types, observational data collection techniques, interviews. Technical data analysis, data presentation, data verification, and conclusion. The results showed that KUBE provided financial assistance, socialization, training, bout assistance. open opportunities in running a business, increase knowledge and skills in catching fish and so on. Meanwhile, efforts to increase awareness of the fishing community are to make regular extension activities and optimize the capacity of potential fishermen groups to be developed, form fishermen institutions, care for the coastal ecosystem environment, training on the use of fishing technology tools, create new livelihoods as a form of increasing the income of the Alu Naga village community

Abstract

Dewasa ini, Bukan tidak mungkin masyarakat berkembang sesuai dengan harapan lingkungannya dan standar sosial yang ada di sana. Karena manusia adalah makhluk sosial, maka ada saatnya manusia membutuhkan bantuan dari orang lain yang berbagi lingkungan, bergaul, dan berinteraksi satu sama lain. Riset ini bertujuan untuk menggali dan mendeskripsikan bentuk dan makna tradisi Meretan dan Tenong serta sosial empowerment berbasis masyarakat dalam tradisi Meretan dan Tenong di Banten. Pada riset ini digunakan jenis penelitian kualitatif dengan pendekatannya studi fenomenologi. Lokasi penelitian di Banten. Dengan 2 lokasi yang berbeda, lokasi pertama di Kp. Ciparahu, Desa Sumberjaya, Kecamatan Sumur Kabupaten Pandeglang, Sedangkan lokasi ke dua di Desa Pontang Kec. Pontang Kab. Serang. Pengumpulan data melalui observasi, wawancara serta dokumentasi. Teknik analisis data melalui data reduction, data display, dan conclusion drawing/verification. Pemeriksaan keabsahan data melalui metode Triangulasi. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa bentuk bawaan tradisi Meretan menggunakan rantang atau baskom, yang didalamnya diisi dengan makanan pokok (beras putih) dan ditambahkan bahan pokok lainnya yaitu gula, kopi, penyedap rasa, mie bihun, dan mie sohun, Meretan tersebut dicatat di buku (buku sambung). Sedangkan bentuk bawaan tradisi Tenong menggunakan tempat tenong, rantang atau baskom, yang didalamnya diisi dengan beras putih, terkait Tenong tidak diwajibkan dicatat. Makna tradisi Meretan dan tradisi Tenong memiliki makna yang sama yaitu sebagai resiprositas, nilai kerukunan, wujud solidaritas, dan beban masyarakat. Sedangkan pemberdayaan sosial masyarakat di Banten salah satunya ialah melalui inisiatif berbasisi komunitas berbentuk budaya/tradisi Meretan dan Tenong sehingga tercipta community support kehidupan sosial yang rukun dan tentram serta saling tolong-menolong.
