Abstract

ABSTRACTResearch on the diversity of predatory arboreal ants (Hymenoptera:Formicidae) in oil palm plantations SPPN Sembawa Banyuasin conducted in September to October 2010. This research used the temple of traps. Identification results of research conducted at the Laboratory Department of Biology Faculty of Mathematics and Science University of PGRI Palembang and the Faculty Tarbiyah State Islamic Institute Raden Fatah Palembang. The results obtained by 349 individuals, consisting of 7 species, 5 genera, and 3 subfamilia. Species that have a relative density and the highest relative frequency of either catching the morning andlate afternoon is Oeccophylla sp 1. Diversity of predatory arboreal ants index gained on oil palm plantations in the capture of the morning was 1.054, while the afternoon was 1.038. Community similarity index gained 83%, predatory arboreal ants community showed 83% caught in the morning, also caught in the afternoon.Key words: diversity, ants predatory, arboreal, community similarity

Abstract

Penelitian tentang produktivitas mangrove dan konstribusi serasah mangrovedi telah dilakukan kawasan Tanjung Api-api, kabupaten Banyuasin, SumateraSelatan. Gugurusan serasah mangrove ditangkap dengan menggunakan perangkapserasah. Analisis kimia dilakukan untuk menentukan konsentrasi guguran serasahpermukaan. Nitrogen total ditentukan dengan menggunakan metode Kjldahl. Analisispospor menggunakan spektrofotometri. Total karbon ditentukan dengan metodepengabuan pada tanur. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa produktivitas Hasilpenelitian menunjukkan bahwa produktivitas serasah di wilayah studi dipengaruhi oleh jenis dan dominasi mangrove, kerapatan mangrove, dan kondisi salinitas danketerbukaan ke wilayah air laut. Rata-rata produksi serasah mangrove adalah 10.90ton/ha/tahun dengan kontribusi masing-masing unsur Karbon, Nitrogen dan Posporsecara berurutan adalah 6,026 ton/ha/tahun, 0.172 ton/ha/tahun dan 0.017 ton/ha/year.Konstribusi Sonneratia spp lebih tinggi dari pada Avicennia spp.

Abstract

Population growth in energy consumption followed by one of them is oil consumption in the household, industrial and transportation. One effort to meet fuel needs without creating a new plant is to optimize existing plant. Crude Distillation Unit (CDU), an oil refinery serves to separate the fractions of crude oil into gas, SR line, naphtha, Kerosene Light distillate (LKD), Light Cold Test (LCT) and residues. There are 4 distillation column in which all units are operating at atmospheric pressure. In this study, the CDU unit be operating at normal kodiisi will be changing the temperature of the furnace into the CD-V column two by using the simulation but does not alter the product. CDU-V Pertamina Plaju consists of 4 distillation column with two furnaces each furnace output to column one and two. Column two is selected when the temperature changes that go into the column will not affect the feed to the other column. From the simulation results that have been conducted and the results of simulation data have been obtained, showing that the temperature entering the CDU column 2 still can be lowered by 4 °C from 320 °C operating conditions up to 316oC and the results derived products did not experience a huge change is still within the limits references are permitted. By reducing the temperature on the distillation column will save the energy used. Key words : Exergy, distillation, simulation ABSTRAKPertumbuhan penduduk di ikuti dengan konsumsi energi salah satunya adalah konsumsi minyak dalam rumah tangga,industri maupun transportasi. Salah satu upaya memenuhi kebutuhan bahan bakar minyak tanpa membuat plant baru adalah dengan mengoptimalkan plant yang sudah ada. Crude Distillation Unit (CDU) sebuah kilang minyak berfungsi untuk memisahkan fraksi-fraksi crude oil menjadi gas, SR Top, nafta, Light Kerosene Distillate (LKD), Light Cold Test (LCT) dan residu. Ada 4 kolom distilasi pada unit tersebut yang semuanya beroperasi pada tekanan atmosferik . Dalam penelitian ini Unit CDU yang beroperasi pada kodiisi normal akan dilakukan pengubahan  suhu dari dapur bakar ke CD-V kolom dua  dengan menggunakan simulasi tetapi tidak mengubah produk yang dihasilkan. CDU-V Pertamina Plaju terdiri atas 4 kolom distilasi dengan dua buah dapur bakar masing masing keluaran dapur bakar ke kolom satu dan dua. Kolom dua dipilih ketika terjadi pengubahan suhu yang masuk ke kolom tidak akan mempengaruhi  feed terhadap kolom yang lain.   Dari hasil simulasi yang telah dilakukan dan data hasil simulasi yang telah diperoleh, menunjukkan bahwa suhu yang masuk ke CDU kolom 2 masih dapat diturunkan sebesar   4 oC  yaitu dari kondisi operasi 320 oC diturunkan sampai  316oC dan hasil produknya tidak mengalami perubahan yang sangat besar masih dalam batas referensi yang diijinkan. Dengan pengurangan temperatur pada kolom distilasi akan menghemat energi yang digunakan. Kata Kunci: Exergy, destilasi, simulasi

Abstract

             Sepengkah (Parambasis wolffi) is a member of order Perciformes, family Chandidae. This research was aimed to determine the relationship of length and weight and condition factor of sepengkah (Parambasis wolffi). The study was conducted from March to October 2011 in Sungai Rokan Kepulauan Riau. The result showed that a length-weight relationship of Sepengkah was positive allometric (b = 3,264) where the weight  is faster grow than the length. The condition factor of Sepengkah was around 3,2-4,0, it was showed that the body of Sepengkah was close to flat. Abstract

Research was conducted in the Science Center Laboratory of Universitas PGRI Palembang from November to February 2018. This research utilized the Completely Randomized Design with six level treatment and four replications. The objective of this research was recognized that the effect of Trichoderma sp was not significant to grow, baut had a very significant effect on plant height and number of leaves. The higher the dose give, the larger the diameter of the stem and the number of leaves. Keywords : Trichoderma sp, plant growth, soybean crops  ABSTRAK Penelitian tentang pengaruh pemberian jamur Trichoderma sp yang diberikan terhadap pertumbuhan tanaman Kedelai (Glycine max L.), telah dilakukan di Laboratorium Terpadu Universitas PGRI Palembang dari bulan November 2017 sampai dengan bulan Februari 2018. Penelitian ini menggunakan Rancangan Acak Lengkap (RAL) dengan enam perlakuan dan empat ulangan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pemberian Trichoderma sp berpengaruh tidak nyata terhadap tinggi tanaman, namun berpengaruh sangat nyata terhadap diameter batang dan jumlah daun tanaman. Semakin tinggi dosis Trichoderma sp yang diberikan, semakin besar diameter batang dan jumlah daun. Kata Kunci :  Trichoderma sp, pertumbuhan tanaman, tanaman kedelai.

Abstract

This study aims to determine  the level of bioaccumulation of metals cadmium (Cd) in mussel  ( Corbicula sp.) based on the value of bioconcentration factor (BCF). The sampling method was purposive sampling methode. The study  site was divided into eight stations, obtained the following results, Bioconcentration Factor ( BCF ) of Cd metal in mussel (Corbicula sp.) and water ranged 38.2301 - 315.2381 with an average of  101.0334, indicated Cd metal bioaccumulation in the mussel (Corbicula sp.) and water accumulated in the medium category. BCF value metals Cd in mussel ( Corbicula sp.) and sediment ranged 2.2857-8.0940 with an average of 4.7931 indicates Cd metal bioaccumulation in the mussel (Corbicula sp.) and sediment accumulated  in the lower category . Key words : Bioconcentration , Cadmium , Water , Sediment , Mussels , Musi River

Abstract

Telah dilakukan penelitian tentang  klasifikasi jenis- jenis ikan di Sungai Komering Kabupaten Ogan Komering Ilir (OKI) Provinsi Sumatera Selatan. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan pada bulan Juni-Juli 2010 di Sungai Komering Kabupaten Ogan Komering Ilir (OKI) Provinsi Sumatera Selatan. Metode yang digunakan adalah pengamatan langsung. Survei lapangan. Data jenis-jenis ikan yang ditemukan diidentifikasi dan diklasifikasikan di Laboratorium  Biologi FMIPA Universitas PGRI Palaembang. Hasil yang didapat yaitu  6 ordo; 18 familia; dan 40 spesies ikan.

Abstract

ABSTRACTHas been studied, entitled "Knowing the Ingredients Test Phytochemicals for Organic Compounds in Roots, Leaves, and Stem Plants Senggugu (Clerodendron serratum Spreng) held in August until November 2006 at the Laboratory of Organic Chemistry, UNSRI Inderalaya. The purpose of this study was to determine the class of organic compounds contained in the roots, leaves, and stems of plants senggugu. The result is at the root, leaves and stems of plants senggugu (Clerodendron serratum Spreng) alkaloids contained organic compounds and classes of organic compoundclasses terpenoida flavonoida whereas none of the three parts of the plant. Special sections of leaves and stems of plants there are classes of organic compounds terpenoid types of steroids.Key words: Phytochemicals test, Clerodendron serratum, alkaloids, falvonoida, terpenoida.

Abstract

A study examining the diversity of Sansevieria leaf morphology varieties was conducted in May to December 2016, aiming to analyzed the morphological type of Sansevieria plant leaves scattered in the Palembang city. The study used descriptive survey. The data were collected by purposive sampling, in every 13 sub-districts in Palembang city. The data obtained were analyzed to the leaves morphology type, as characteristic of Sansevieria species. The results obtained 40 species of Sansevieria, with leaf type round, half round, stiff like a sword, short curved and fleshy concave. Green leaf color are plain green, green with stained  and green striped (cross banding). The edges of the leaves are flat and wavy. Leaf terminal are  tapered, pointed and dull. Keywords: Sansevieria, leaf morphology ABSTRAK Penelitian yang mengkaji keanekaragaman tipe morfologi daun Sansevieria telah dilaksanakan pada Bulan Mei sampai Desember 2016, bertujuan untuk menganalisis tipe morfologi daun tanaman Sansevieria yang tersebar di kota Palembang. Penelitian menggunakan survey deskriptif. Pengambilan data dilakukan secara purpossive sampling, di setiap 13 kecamatan di kota Palembang. Data yang diperoleh dianalisis terhadap tipe morfologi daunnya, sebagai karakteristik species Sansevieria. Hasil penelitian diperoleh 40 species Sansevieria, dengan  tipe daun berbentuk bulat, setengah bulat, kaku seperti pedang, pendek melengkung dan  cekung berdaging.       Warna daun  bertipe hijau polos, hijau bertotol  dan  hijau bergaris (cross banding). Tepi daun rata dan bergelombang. Ujung daun meruncing, runcing dan tumpul. Kata Kunci : Sansevieria, morfologi daun

Abstract

Research on Chromium Analysis Total Regional Industrial Weaving Songket Palembang Musi River has been carried out in July and August 2013. This study aims to determine the concentration of total chromium (Cr-T) in the three sampling sites were in the vicinity of the domestic weaving industry songket Palembang Musi River. the results obtained by the average concentration of total chromium (Cr-T) at three sampling locations at 0.8094 mg / L and an average pH of the third water sampling locations ranging from 6.8. Based on South Sumatra Governor Regulation No. 18 In 2012, the average concentration of total chromium at three sampling locations are around the area songket Palembang Musi River is still below the standard that is below 1 mg / L. Keywords: chrome total, songket weaving industry, The Musi River
