Abstract

Globalization is a process of making something (object or behavior) a characteristic of every individual in this world without being limited by region. Globalization can also mean that several different characteristics (read: culture) can interact massively. The rapid development of the world of communication technology has brought tremendous benefits to the progress of human civilization. Communication activities that previously required such complicated equipment, have now been relatively replaced by automatic machines. Communication activities in terms of exchange or interaction between different cultures are inevitable in the current era of globalization. After the COVID-19 Pandemic, changes in the order of social life occur in general. The form of direct face-to-face communication is increasingly limited in the world of business, education, the world of daily interactions and others. One form of communication in the business world is Whatsapp Group. With the pandemic, communication via Whatsapp Groups is more intense. In the context of communication, one of which is the context of group communication. The form of group communication began to shift from face-to-face communication to virtual communication through social media or other platforms. Like it or not, all human activities are getting faster and faster. This paper tries to describe the virtual group communication activities that occurred in the Victory West Leaders whatsapp group in the era of the COVID-19 pandemic. The key factors in this virtual group activity are the common goals of the group, leadership factors from leaders and individual awareness of group members and the togetherness factor in time. The pandemic situation forced the activities of business groups to be more tightened through Whatsapp Group virtual communication activities. This aims to maintain the stability of team productivity. Abstract

Indonesia as a developing country, development is happening very rapidly and competing with each other in prioritizing quality. To maximize quality, good human resource management is needed. In their growing stage, there is a small business that is still developing called ‘Sayurmoms’. From the 10 months Objective Key Result (OKR) From July 2020 to May 2021. Sayurmoms only reach average at level 31,5% during COVID-19. The research objective in this research is to understand the employee motivation and demotivation during COVID-19 that influenced the employee performance on Sayurmoms. The research methodology approach will be qualitative research, which is a way for examining and comprehending an individual's or an organization's impact on a social or human issue. In this case the individuals are the employees in Sayurmoms and the human problem is the motivation and demotivation during COVID-19. This study will employ qualitative phenomenology analysis in order for the researcher to gain a better understanding of the phenomenon from Sayurmoms’ employee’s point of view regarding the COVID-19 phenomenon that causes the employee to work from home and its impact on their motivation and demotivation with using in-depth interview for the data collection. This research plays a role in giving the solution for Sayurmoms in mitigating the employee demotivation and increasing employee motivation. Abstract

Finance is one of the factors that helps boarding schools succeed in their development efforts, since the financial field aids in the management of education. To preserve public trust in financial management, transparency and publishing in the form of presentation of financial statements in compliance with standards are required. It will also provide contributors a sense of security because they believe their donations have been properly managed. As professional organizations of accountants and architects of financial accounting standards in Indonesia, Bank Indonesia and the Indonesian Institute of Accountants collaborated on the development of the Pesantren Accounting Guidelines, a financial reporting guide for boarding schools. The Financial Accounting Standards of Entities Without Public Accountability are the subject of this accounting guideline (SAK ETAP). Financial Position Report, Activity Report, Cash Flow Statement, and Notes on Financial Statements are the components of Pondok Pesantren financial statements based on pesantren accounting rules. This is a descriptive study that employs a mixed-methods approach (mixed methods). This study employs a mix of research methodologies (mixed methods), in which researchers employ both qualitative and quantitative methodologies in their investigation. Financial reports based on Islamic Boarding School Accounting Guidelines have not been given by Al-Manar Muhammadiyah Islamic Boarding School and The lack of understanding of financial statement preparation on the part of the Islamic boarding school, as well as the lack of information and socialization related to the Accounting Guidelines for Islamic Boarding Schools

Abstract

Along with the times, technological developments that continue to develop make the rapid dissemination of information entire of society through various media. One of the results is from the field of information technology that has developed through the use of internet technology. The application of internet technology has entered several aspects of life, such as information services, government, education, to trade or business. Before the invention of the internet, humans tended to do various traditional businesses, where buyers and sellers met each other to negotiate and make transactions. The purpose of this research is to see the determination of the company’s image on consumer trust and its impact on online purchasing decisions on marketplace Shopee in Bireuen Regency. Population of this research is all people in Bireuen Regency who shop online on marketplace Shopee. Sample in this research amounted to 130 people. The sampling method using accidental sampling.Data analysis using SEM AMOS program.After regression using Structural Equation Model (SEM).The results showed that the company's image had a significant and positive effect on trust and online purchasing decisions at the marketplace Shopee in Bireuen Regency. Furthermore, trust partially mediates the relationship between company image and purchasing decisions.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the rapid development of smartphones, where smartphones are one of the main needs of human activity. Apple is a company that competes vigorously with one of its products, the iPhone. This study aims to determine whether the Brand Image, Brand Loyalty and Perceived Value factors can determine iPhone purchasing decisions by consumers who live in Jabodetabek. The sampling method that this study will use is the quantitative methods in the form of surveys questionnaires for data collection using Convenience Sampling. The number of samples used in this study was 372 people in Jabodetabek who used the Apple iPhone to represent the entire population. The results of this study indicate that Brand Image does not have a significant and positive influence on purchasing decisions made by consumers in Jabodetabek. While other variables, namely Brand Loyalty and Perceived Value, have a significant and positive influence on purchasing decisions made by consumers in Jabodetabek.

Abstract

The entire economy in Indonesia experienced turmoil and decline due to the spread of the Covid-19 virus. Likewise, the event organizer industry also experienced a decline. All event organizer companies are having a hard time. Employee motivation at work is affected by internal and external factors, caused by dispositional factor or internal, such as personality trait, effort, mood, judgment, ability, motive, belief and situational factor or external, such as world’s phenomenon, other’s people attitude, time of day, task difficulty, and luck. This study analyzes employee motivation affected by dispositional and situational factors and influences employee performance while working in Event Organizer during Covid-19 Pandemic. This study uses a qualitative approach with attribution theory and phenomenological method. Researcher conducts semi-structured interviews with three employees of the EventX company. The result of this study is the understanding of the factors that significantly influence the employee motivation of EventX through two approaches, dispositional and situational. The researcher found that there are changes in motivation and affect performance during the Covid-19 pandemic. This study will become a reference to increase motivation levels, especially for event industry amid the Covid-19 situation and enhance employee performance.

Abstract

PT XYZ is a company engaged in the field of production and services that has Human Resources spread throughout Indonesia. In this study, the object of observation is the employee in the East Java Unit which has a total of 2,300 personnel with the composition of the Millennial Generation (born 1981-1994) of 51% as the dominating number of employees in PT XYZ. The results of an interest survey conducted on 698 structural employees at the Basic Supervisor level (managerial type career) at PT XYZ East Java Unit, showed that 25% or 171 employees of the millennial generation chose functional careers (type of expertise). This phenomenon is then explored further in the research objectives, namely what factors influence career selection in millennial generation employees. This research is a qualitative research that uses the interview method. The result is that there are two factors that influence career choice, namely responsibility and type of work. Abstract

The purpose of this study were: 1) To analyze the effect of job stress on commitment organizational, 2) To analyze the effect of job stress to work motivation; 3) To analyze the effect of work motivation to commitment organizational 4) To analyze the effect variables of work motivation as a variable intervening in job stress to commitment organizational. The selection of the sample in this study carried out by using survey methods. By using questionnaires as the primary data collection tool. The population of this study were employees of PT. Bank X, Surabaya. The method used is a non-probability sampling method. Analysis tool used is the test of validity, reliability testing, test analysis and Path Analisys. By using statistical analysis with SPSS version 26.0 for windows results of this study indicate that the value from sobel test is 2,021 > 2,000 (t-table), this means participation in work motivation as a variable intervening in job stress directly affect to commitment organizational, further significant job stress on commitment organizational and work motivation can be used as intervening variables in relation of commitment organizational of PT. Bank X Surabaya employee.

Abstract

Technological developments have shifted the payment system from paper based instruments to card based and electronic based instruments. The existence of innovation in finance will have an impact on the existence of money in society. Indonesia is the fourth most populous country and the need for money will also increase. The purpose of this study is to see how the impact of e-money and card dimensions on the demand for money in Indonesia. The data used in this study is monthly secondary data for 2017-2020. The method used in analyzing the data is the Engle Granger-Error Correction Model. The results of the study show that debit card transactions have a significant effect on the demand for money in Indonesia. Meanwhile, e-money and credit cards have no significant effect on the demand for money in Indonesia. This is because debit cards have been issued by many banks and are widely used by the people of Indonesia. However, if the use of e-money, debit cards and credit cards is used in the long term, it will have an impact on decreasing demand for money in Indonesia

Abstract

The existence of instability in the value of sales is an important evaluation that must be carried out by management. The purpose of this study is to determine the effect of Personal Selling on Sales Targets at PT. Setiawan Sedjati. The location of data collection is done at PT. Setiawan Sedjati Bandung. The research method uses quantitative methods. This research is a descriptive correlation with sample data collection using the Slovin formula. A total of 67 respondents were used as samples in this study consisting of employees of the marketing division and customers of PT. Setiawan Sedjati. The existing samples were then processed using SPSS Statistic Software version 26. Based on the processed data, the results of the regression equation Y = 20.478 + 0.182x. Then the correlation coefficient value of 0.747, it can be said that these results have a strong relationship between variables. The value of the coefficient of determination is 55.8%. The calculated value of 9.068 > 2.6512 this result shows a significant increase between variables on the t-test. It can be concluded that H1 accepted and H0 rejected, namely the variable personal selling. The variable personal selling has an influence on sales.
