Abstract

This study aims to determine and explain the level of Buying Interest at Kala Senja Kopi coffeeshop based on, Promotion and Brand Awareness at Kala Senja Kopi coffeeshop. This research was conducted through a statistical technique approach using SPSS 16, data collection using the incidental sampling technique on 314 respondents with research subjects are customers of Kala Senja Kopi coffeeshop. Prior to the Hypothesis test, this study conducted a data validity test. The data analysis technique used is the scale range analysis technique and path analysis The results of this study reveal that the Promotion of Kala Senja Kopi coffeeshop is in the agreed criteria, that means the Promotion of Kala Senja Kopi coffeeshop are acceptable by consumers. Furthermore, Brand Awareness of Kala Senja Kopi coffeeshop is on agreed criteria, meaning that the Brand Awareness of Kala Senja Kopi coffeeshop could be acceptable by consumers. Then, the Buying Interest of Kala Senja Kopi coffeeshop is on the agreed criteria, that means the Buying Interest of Limasan Cafe are acceptable by consumers. There is a very strong and unidirectional positive correlation between Promotion and Brand Awareness. Partially Promotion had a positive and significant effect on Buying Interest. while brand Awareness also had a positive and significant effect on Buying Interest. The Promotion and Brand Awareness had a positive and significant effect on Buying Interest of Kala Senja Kopi coffeeshop.

Abstract

Entrepreneurial success in Small and Medium Industries on local wisdom products is an important asset owned by a region. Sambas songket weaving is a product of local wisdom in West Kalimantan Province since the 16th century. This study aims to analyze the business success factors of the Sambas songket weaving entrepreneurs, totalling 30 respondents in Sumber Harapan Village, Sambas Regency. This research approach is an associative quantitative method with data processing by using hypothesis testing through the Structural Equation Model – Partial Least Square (SEM-PLS). The results of the research hypothesis test show that Social Capital (SC) and Innovation Capability (IC) have a positive and significant effect on Business Performance (BP), while Entrepreneurial Orientation (EO) has no positive and significant effect. The average value of respondents' answers sequentially is that the SC is the first, the second is BP, the third is IC, while the last is EO. So, it can be concluded that SC is the strength of sambas songket weaving entrepreneurs, IC is good enough to encourage business capacity, but EO must be a concern that must be increased in efforts to sustain entrepreneurship in local wisdom products.

Abstract

Pesantren, recently, is one of educational institutions that still exist in human resource is by implementing fighting spirit to its Santri2. This study is a descriptive research designed using case study model with the source determined purposively (purposive sampling), by choosing samples who knows the problems, have the data and willing to give the data. The data collection technique is using in depth interview with key informant and document analysis. The data analysis is using data reduction procedure, data presentation, and conclusion/verification making. Data validating is using method and source triangulation. This research objectives are to know deeper about 1) the form of ritual tradition applied in College Student Pesantren Manba’ul Hikam and the meaning of the ritual tradition, 2) the strategy Manba’ul Hikam in entering the societal life, and 3) the motivation model applied in College Student Pesantren Manba’ul Hikam

Abstract

Work discipline is an attitude that is indispensable and gets attention in every job done by everyone in an effort to improve performance in order to achieve organizational goals. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of work discipline on improving employee performance at CV. KP Rizki Perkasa in Babah Krueng Village, Beutong District, Nagan Raya Regency. This research was conducted on CV. KP Rizki Perkasa with the object of research regarding the effect of work discipline on improving employee performance, while the subject of this research is all employees in CV. KP Rizki Perkasa, with a total sample of 82 employees based on the Slovin formula. The results of the study based on simple linear regression showed that work discipline had a significant effect on improving employee performance, with a t-value of 5.892 with a significance level of of 0.000. To further improve employee performance, the application of work discipline should also be balanced with clear sanctions, so that employees actually apply work discipline in accordance with the rules set by the company.

Abstract

The aim of this research is to analyze the influence of job characteristic, work discipline, and career development on employee performance at PT. Antarakata Group Semarang. The data type which been used in this research is primary data that already obtained from the real source questionere. This research sample is taken from PT. Antarakata Group employees amount 52 persons. The sampling technique is using random sampling. This research examination tools are : validity examination using KMO-MSA factor analysis, the reliability examination using Cronbach Alpha and hypothesis examination using multiple linear regression. The reasearch’s results are : 1. The job characteristic has significant and positive influence, 2. Work discipline doesn’t have significant influence, 3. Career development has significant and positive influence.

Abstract

This study aims to improve vehicle service services by evaluating the performance of existing services at PT. XYZ at Bintaro Jaya. The approach used in this research is queuing theory. The whole customer who came to the car dealer of PT. XYZ is used as the population. All of the customers who came then queued and then entered the queue were sampled in this study. The research period and data collection were carried out for 7 consecutive days using observation techniques. Goodness of fit test is used to analyze the arrival data that has poison distribution. The arrival pattern produced by this study has followed the poison distribution and the service pattern followed the exponential distribution. Based on the calculation results in increasing the speed of service, one additional person is needed for optimal service.

Abstract

Regulations set by the government due to the transmission of Covid-19 have a major impact on entrepreneurial activities, especially for small business actors. Innovation and creativity in product marketing to create shared value with consumers is a solution in adaptation during the Covid-19 pandemic and as a strategy to stabilize the economy. The purpose of this study was to describe the condition of the food business during the pandemic in Majene City, to describe the problems experienced by the DL Fruit Salad food business, especially during the covid-19 pandemic, to describe the value co-creation that emerged in the DL Fruit Salad food business and to create a model. problem solving against obstacles from the DL Fruit Salad food business. Abstract

This study aims to examine the effect of factors that influence taxpayer compliance with the independent variables tax amnesty, tax sanctions and tax audits. This variable was chosen because it is considered to have a major influence on taxpayer compliance in paying taxes for the benefit of a country's development. Where it requires no small amount of funds, but there are still taxpayers who do not report their assets/assets honestly to the state.The population in this study were all individual taxpayers registered at KPP Pratama Surabaya Mulyorejo. The sample is determined by purposive sampling method, namely individual taxpayers who follow registered and must report to KPP Pratama Surabaya Mulyorejo. Based on the research results, it is known that tax amnesty and audit have a significant effect on taxpayer compliance and tax sanctions have no significant effect on taxpayer compliance. This provides information that the existence of a tax amnesty and tax audit can increase taxpayer compliance while tax sanctions have an effect but do not have a major role in increasing taxpayer compliance at KPP Pratama Surabaya Mulyorejo.

Abstract

This study is aimed to determine the effect of recruitment, training and development, compensation and job satisfaction to employee performance of four star hotel’s employees in Batam. This study was conducted by distributing questionnaires to 273 respondents who are employees of four star hotels in Batam. The questionnaires were distributed and collected back, and 261 questionnaires were filled out completely so that it can be used for regression analisys by using Partial Least Squares. From the data processing with PLS is known that there are relationships between all the variables studied. Based on this research, the results obtained indicate that the compensation variable has a significant effect on the job satisfaction variable, job satisfaction has a significant effect on employee performance, the performance appraisal variable has no significant effect on the job satisfaction variable, the recruitment variable has a significant effect on job satisfaction and the training variable and development has no significant effect on job satisfaction. Abstract

The coffee industry is a positive growth business that offers attractive job prospects for coffee-producing countries around the world. This demonstrates the importance of coffee as a global commodity as well as a national economic engine. The expansion of the coffee industry encourages the expansion of other industries, one of which is learning about the coffee industry. Face-to-face learning has unfortunately been displaced by online learning as a result of the pandemic, resulting in some learning methods not being implemented efficiently. This study takes a descriptive method to determine what potential and obstacles exist in online learning about the coffee industry, as well as what coffee subjects might be researched further. The resource persons are 36 students enrolled in the Coffee Business and Management course who completed an open-ended questionnaire. The data was then descriptively evaluated in order to derive conclusions which expressed that challenge of learning in pandemic is higher than the opportunity whereas there is sixteen coffee topics that need to be explored deeper into the learning.
