Abstract

Indonesia is a demogratic country whith has general elections according to its level whitch with this general election provides convenience in the sustainability of development in an area but not in klambir lima this procedure aims to analyze the use of the AHP method to determine a decision support system in the election of village head candidates in klambir lima which is part of teh deliserdang district of  medan city in the election og village heads often has inequality in the election, it is felt that this papar uses the AHP method in analyzing descriptive qualitative data, by collecting data by interviewing the community in the election of  village head candidates,.with the help of the community in klambir lima, it provides convebience later in determining or selecting village head candidates

Abstract

Underwater images often experience disturbances such as imperfect noise and noise which can result in capture results being too dark or too bright, blurred or even less sharp, which will result in very poor image quality. Modified Median Filter is a development of a noise detection algorithm based on a simple concept, namely if a pixel belongs to a uniform area, then it is close in color to a neighboring pixel, then it is not corrected, if there is nothing close to a neighboring pixel, then noise is detected then the pixel value is replaced with the median of the evaluated window. Image quality is measured by means of two magnitudes, namely MSE (Mean Square Error) and PSNR (Peak Signal to Noise Ration) by comparing MSE and MNSR values to obtain results and improve image quality.

Abstract

Currently, many people from companies and universities use the PDF file format to provide all available information because it is considered faster and when it is sent it will not change the format when it is opened on another device. However, sometimes it will save a PDF file that affects the computer's performance too much. With these problems, a data compression technique is needed to reduce the size of the existing PDF files, in order to save more storage space.Compression is a process of reducing or differentiating a data size to be smaller than the sleeping one. Data compression is very helpful where there is a large amount of data and it contains many characters. Compressing PDF files can help in better management, and is very helpful in fast file transfers. In designing this compression application, the Golomb algorithm is used to perform the compression and decompression processes.As for the final result of the compression process using algorithm Golomb by the author, the results of the performance parameters are Ratio of Compression of 2.27, Compression Rate of 44.14%, Redundancy of 55.86% and Space Saving of 55.86%. The initial size of the PDF file which is compressed by applying the Golomb algorithm is reduced to 44.14% of the PDF file size, which means it supports

Abstract

Batang Kuis Subdistrict has a list of village heads who serve as village heads, based on the list of village heads in Batang Kuis District, the best village head election will be carried out. The problem faced in this study is that in choosing the best village head, it only looks at the abilities possessed by the village head, even though there are several criteria that can be considered by the sub-district in choosing the best village head. The criteria used in this study are Performance (C1), Community (C2), Knowledge (C3), Discipline (C4) and Attitude (C5). To overcome the problems encountered, a decision support system is needed. The method used in this study is the MOORA method, this method uses 5 criteria, namely: performance, society, knowledge, discipline and attitude. From the results of the study, the results of the decision with the best alternative were obtained, namely (13) in the name of "H. Kasiman" with the acquisition of 0,378.

Abstract

As the world develops, technology for obtaining information quickly becomes more sophisticated and widespread. Various technical means are continuously being developed to enable everyone to successfully share information, especially when sending data such as image files, but large image files cause storage capacity problems and can be difficult to store in image file data. To fix this problem, it is recommended to compress the image file with the appropriate algorithm for best results. To find a suitable compression algorithm, compare the Goldbach Codes G0 and Goldbach Codes G1 algorithms to save image file storage space when sending image files. Compressed image files are also easier and faster to send due to their smaller data size. After testing the system, Goldbach G0 algorithm has compression ratio (Cr) 42%, redundancy (Rd) 57%, and space saving (Ss) 57%, which is better than Goldbach codes G1 algorithm in image file compression process. I understand. During compression and decompression, the Goldbach Codes G0 algorithm takes less time to compress image files than the Goldbach Codes G1 algorithm.

Abstract

Compression is a technique used for data transmission and storage to change the initial data size to a smaller size so that the storage space is not too large. In the data compression process there are two techniques that can be used to change the file size, namely lossy and lossless. Audio files are one of the files that are often used in transmitting data. Audio files generally have a very large size so that it will make it difficult to transmit data and store data. Therefore it is necessary to compress data to reduce its size so that it is easier to overcome problems related to data transmission and data storage. In the compression process there are various methods and have different ratio results. Therefore, in this study a comparison was made between the Set Partitioning In Hierarchical Trees (SPIHT) algorithm and the Boldi Vigna Code method for audio to determine the results of a smaller and more effective compression ratio for compressing audio files. The results of the study concluded that the comparison calculation between the Set Partitioning In Hierarchical Trees (SPIHT) algorithm and Boldi Vigna Code ratio on audio file compression resulted in a value of 21.8% for the Set Partitioning In Hierarchical Trees (SPIHT) algorithm and 68.75% for the Set Partitioning In Hierarchical Trees (SPIHT) method. Abstract

The implementation of teacher certification is the government's commitment to implement the mandate of Law Number 14 of 2005, namely to create qualified and professional teachers. At SMA N. 1 Lahewa matters related to the certification process are still not subjective. To be able to take the teacher certification test and pass it is not easy. Educators must go through several stages and procedures that must be followed by each participant. Therefore, to solve this problem, the authors chose to solve it by creating a decision support system using the Additive Ratio Assessment (ARAS) method. SPK is an interactive information system that provides information, modeling and data manipulation. The ARAS method is used to compare the overall index value of each alternative to the optimal alternative overall index value. This research produces a decision support system that can recommend teachers who are eligible to take teacher certification at SMA N. 1 Lahewa based on criteria using the ARAS method. A trial was carried out by entering a data sample of 10 teacher data at SMA N. 1 Lahewa. The existence of a decision support system can provide recommendations for teachers who are eligible to take part in the certification process based on ranking.

Abstract

With the development of computer technology today it can be used for various things, one of which is storing files. The larger the size of the file stored on the computer, the greater the storage space. The greater the storage space required, the greater the costs incurred. In addition, files that have a large size can cause problems when transmitting files. Therefore, methods emerged that aimed to compress files in order to save storage space for these files, one of which was compression. With compression, it is hoped that it can save costs and time spent in order to add file storage media facilities on a computer and speed up the file transfer process. After carrying out the compression process of the Shannon-Fano and BWT algorithms, it can be concluded that the combination of the BWT algorithm and the Shannon-Fano algorithm is more capable of reducing the size capacity in compressed pdf text files, because the compression process using the combination of the BWT algorithm and the Shannon-Fano algorithm is able to reduce the size data from the initial value. The combination of the BWT Algorithm and the Shannon-Fano Algorithm is able to compress pdf text files more efficiently than compression applications from the widely circulated online web.

Abstract

Randomforest is a supervised learning algorithm that uses ensemble learning methods for classification and regression. Random forest is a modeling using pocketing technique and not increasing technique. trees in random forests run in parallel. It operates by constructing multiple decision trees at the time of training and class output which is the mode of class (classification) or mean prediction (regression) of each tree. In this journal we will explain how to make a prediction about bird species using performance data from bird species for which we make predictions using the Random forest method and also using a confusion matrix. The first thing to do is to have a dataset of bird species. For the dataset, we will include it in the results and discussion. The results of this study show that the use of the random forest is good enough to predict bird species with output 45% for random forest, 26% for Decision Tree, and 48% for SVM, based on the characteristics and characteristics of each bird.

Abstract

Decision support system is a method that helps in making decisions from a problem with semi-structured or unstructured conditions. One of them is in implementing online learning media in the current Metaverse era. Metaverse is defined as a virtual space designed to include all stakeholders, especially all supported devices, facilitating communication with regional seamless Internet connectivity. Its application in the field of education has a very high opportunity in supporting the process of developing a more advanced education implementation. However, its use will damage physical and psychological health, increase the risk of sexual harassment so that it becomes addicted and forgets time. Therefore, the role of DSS in solving this problem is urgently needed by applying the MAUT method and ROC weighting. In this study, the results of the MAUT method, the best alternative is A2 for Google Classroom with a value of 0,597.
