Abstract

The development of technology 4.0 is increasingly advanced, followed by the development of children's learning methods in the world of education. Since the covid pandemic, children are required to study from home with the help of technology in the form of using mobile phones, tablets, or computers and laptops as a medium of communication in learning. Children in the Alpha generation have started using gadgets in education. As a result of using gadget media every day, children are happy to play games and also see youtube applications. The purpose of this study was to identify how high gadget addiction is in children. Gadget addiction often impacts social behavior and affects the eating patterns of children with a reasonably high gadget addiction. The data analysis method used in this study uses Fuzzy Sugeno analysis with the help of Matlab software. The population of this study was parents and seventh-grade elementary school children who often used gadgets. Data were obtained by distributing questionnaires, conducting interviews, and documenting.

Abstract

State Junior High School 1 Datuk Fifty is a public school located at Simpang Dolok Batu Bara. So far, the selection of the best teachers is still experiencing problems, namely the frequent occurrence of nepotism. In addition, the selection of the best teachers is still done manually. So that errors often occur in the assessment of the selection of the best teacher. Not only that, even the school still chooses only the closest people who will be the best teachers. So that in the assessment of the best teacher, it is necessary to do how to teach students well, improve the quality of teaching work in the room and have the motivation to become the best teacher. So to overcome these problems a decision support system is needed in selecting the best teachers by applying the Weighted Aggregated Sum Product Assessment (WASPAS) method in the ranking process, and the Rank Order Centroid (ROC) method to produce weight values. According to the results of the ranking which was carried out using the Weighted Aggregated Sum Product Assessment (WASPAS) method, the one who obtained the highest score would be selected as the best teacher at Datuk Fifty Public Middle School (SMP) 1.

Abstract

In determining the assessment of employee performance in the Zeribowl group, several assessment factors are needed. The assessment factor consists of 4 alternative factors according to the standard vision and mission in the company. The alternatives include the number of working days, attendance discipline, report accuracy, customer complaints. Employee performance measurement must be carried out with proper consideration in providing an assessment of employee performance using a collective approach to the decision-making process. The current employee performance appraisal process is still carried out subjectively and based on an assessment that has been determined by the company, so that sometimes it causes dissatisfaction and injustice and raises questions. The resulting data becomes more accurate because it is in accordance with the existing facts. The settlement method used in this study is the Multi Factor Evaluation Process (MFEP) based on Key Performance Indicators (KPI). The results of this research will produce an alternative that helps the company to provide a decision based on the results of the best employee performance appraisal.

Abstract

Supervisor is a company structure that has authority to give instructions to subordinate employees under the direction of superiors. Companies that want to achieve these benefits must improve the individual performance of their employees, because basically individual performance affects the performance of the team or work group, which in turn affects the overall performance of the company. If the company’s performance can be regulated then all aspects of the company can run well, such as the contribution of prospective supervisors to the company more and there is no special method used in evaluating prospective supervisors so that it is not appropriate in the assessment. Decision Support System (DSS) is a computer-based system that creates various alternative decisions to help management solve semi-structured problems using the Additive Ratio Assessment (ARAS) method. Making the right decisions so that the supervisor selection process at Coup D'Etat cafe is in accordance with the required criteria including Age, Education Level, Personality, Expertise and Work Period. From the results of the highest ranking level of alternatives, where the value of each alternative is divided by A0 so as to produce a utility that will be used as a ranking level with the highest value chosen, it can be concluded that the selection of supervisors at Cafe Coup D'Etat must meet the criteria specified above. and get the highest score, then the candidates for supervisor at the cafe are alternatives A7 and A10, namely May Ariska Nst and Otniel Sihombing with values of 0.0681 and 0.0671 respectively.

Abstract

Aston Furniture is a company engaged in the sale of furniture. The problem that exists in Aston Furniture is that sofa sales data processing still uses a manual system, which still uses notes and bookkeeping as a place to store sofa sales data. A sofa sales forecasting system at Aston Funiture that aims to help speed up searching for sofa sales data and assist in determining sofa sales forecasting for certain periods based on year. This study discusses sofa sales forecasting using UML (Unified Modeling Language) as a tool in analysis and design, as well as the PHP Hypertext Preprocessor programming language with the CodeIgniter framework, and MySQL as the data storage medium. Forecasting calculations are performed using Single Exponential Smoothing, namely using previous sales data by month and year. The result of this research is to produce sofa sales forecasting.

Abstract

Breast milk is the main source of nutrition for babies before they can digest solid food. Several formula milks that contain soy or soy, honey, multivitamins, zinc and are also lactose-free can be substitutes or other alternatives for formulas containing cow's milk. In determining the best formula milk for babies allergic to cow's milk, several criteria are needed, such as Certificates and Permits, Content, Dosage (mg), Age of Baby, Price Per Package. The large number of allergic milk circulating makes people confused about which milk is suitable for children allergic to cow's milk. The best formula for babies allergic to cow's milk is A2 Enfa mil A+ Gentle Care with a value of -0.047 as the best alternative.

Abstract

For students, especially informatics majors, if they plan to study programming, they should first know the terms in it. Learning programming can sharpen problem-solving skills and create creative reasoning. The problem is that learning programming is relatively difficult and has many obstacles. Some of the obstacles include difficulty in understanding some of the terms found in the programming field. If ignored, there will be ambiguity about the term and it will be more difficult to learn it. The solution to this problem is to provide digital information media in the form of a translation dictionary in the form of a website-based application that is implemented online with the concept of the Interpolation Search method. In this method, the process is that theoretical data collection is also calculated using the interpolation method and then the index position is determined, and the results of the same index between theoretical and practical tests are carried out by producing a predetermined scheme. This research will produce a website-based application that translates programming terms with simple, effective, and accurate searches.

Abstract

Data compression technology is the process of converting a set of data into a lower coded form of data representation that is not encoded with a certain encoding. Data compression is done by encoding each character into a shorter code message, with the aim of saving the need for storage space and time for data transmission. Compressor is used to speed up the process of sending from non-encoded characters to certain encoded characters. By compressing, large data will be reduced in size so that it can save storage capacity. In this study using the Stout Code Algorithm, by using this method the compression results are very good in transmitting data and transferring video file allocations more easily and quickly. By compressing, large data will be reduced in size so that it can save storage space. There are many types of methods or algorithms in video file compression, but in this algorithm the author only wants to know the compression process using the Stout Code and Elias Delta Code algorithms where the author has succeeded in compressing a video file with the Elias Delta Code algorithm, then the Elias Delta Code algorithm is the the best algorithm in the compression process.

Abstract

The use of storage media to store various files, whether text, video or audio, has been implemented for a long time and continues to grow today. The size of a file will affect the data transmission process as well as the use of large enough storage space. This is what lies behind the application of the compression process to a file so that the file size can be reduced and simplify the process of data transmission and use less storage space. One file that is often compressed is an audio file. Audio files often use a large enough storage space when compared to other document files. This is why compression of audio files is needed. In compressing audio files, the author will use the CELP method. This method is part of lossy compression. The lossy compression method recognizes that human hearing is limited so that not all data in the audio file can be heard directly. The lossy algorithm will provide a fairly large change in file size compared to lossless compression. The CELP method is applied because it can perform coding efficiently and the quality is maintained. In this study, it is known that the application of the CELP method on audio files produces an audio file compression application, especially those with the Mp3 extension. The compressed Mp3 audio file has a very small size with a compression ratio of 7.38%.

Abstract

The use of storage media to store various data, be it text, video or audio, has been used for a long time and continues to grow today. The amount of data will affect the process of data transmission and the use of large enough storage space. This is the background for applying the compression process to data, especially text data, so that data can be reduced and facilitate the data transmission process and use less storage space. However, many compression techniques or methods have been found from various experts, which makes it a difficult choice to determine which method is efficient enough for compressing data, especially text data. Data compression, of course, gives results from different compression ratios, including the Elias Delta Code and Prefix Code compression yahoo. In compressing text data the author uses the yahoo Elias Delta Code and yahoo Prefix Code compression methods and analyzes and compares the performance results of the data compression ratio in the two algorithms. In this study, comparisons were made in comparing the Elias Delta Code algorithm and the Prefix Code algorithm in text data compression, the Elias Delta Code algorithm topped first with a comparison result of 73.3% compared to the Prefix Code algorithm which had a comparison value of 66.6%. . Based on this analysis, the Elias Delta Code algorithm is the best algorithm for compressing.
