Abstract

It cannot be denied that technology plays a very important role in today's society. The important role of technology not only brings positive influences but also negative influences. The resulting positive influence is the convenience that we can feel in carrying out our daily activities, one of which is by making digital payments anytime and anywhere, while the negative effect is that there are crimes that can attack, be it cyberbullying or cybercrime. Implementation of digital forensics using the NIST (National Institute of Standards and Technology) method with the stages of collection, examination, analysis, and reporting to help find digital evidence. By using the Oxygen Forensic Detective and MOBILedit Forensic tools, success in finding evidence of exchanged messages, images, user information, payment transactions, product information, and images in deleted data files. The success rate of the two forensic tools used is quite different, Oxygen Forensic Detective has a success rate of 91.7% while MOBILedit Forensic has a lower success rate of 66.7% in finding digital evidence.

Abstract

A tertiary institution certainly wants to have students who are successful in their education but there are very many student failures which have quite a bad impact on the image of the name of the Budidarma University campus, students who fail certainly make many parties feel concerned and other impacts occur in the accumulation of data on students who fail and can reduce the existence of a university. It is necessary to predict the failure rate of students at Budi Darma University to enable the campus to carry out strategies and anticipate even greater student failures. Data mining is a branch of computer science that can help predict the tendency of student data to cause failure rates to make it easier to design and anticipate students so that failure rates in the future do not increase. With the use of predictions using a computer in the form of the RapidMiner application with the K-Nearest Neighbor and Naïve Bayes algorithms, it can make it easier to speed up the process of solving problems correctly.

Abstract

I the current era of development,tecgnology is increasingly sophisticated,one of wich is investing online.Online Investing applications or olso called online platforms are appliactions that investors use to invest with the aim of getting future profits th are carried out line anytime and anywhere.There are many types of investment apliactions that develop according to human needs.However, the lack of knowledge of the community or investor in choosing the best investment, namely,a system that will solve these problems using the OCRA method(Operational Competitivieness Rtaing) and ROC (Rank Order Centroid) wich produces the best decision based on predetermined criteria and data ,so that the conclusion is that best online investment application is OVO Invest in alternative A3 with a score 1.568.

Abstract

In the current era of technological development, the need for large data storage capacity seems to be increasingly important. Therefore, despite the tremendous advances in data storage technology compression technique is no longer a stranger. because the data that must be stored the longer it will be more and more one of them is video file storage. This problem often arises because the large size of the data causes wasteful storage media used. To overcome the problem of size in storing data and the transmission process, the researchers will use the Fibonacci code algorithm to perform the compression process. The Fibonacci Code algorithm is one type of lossless data compression used in this study, whose performance will be measured by comparison parameters Compression Ratio (CR) and Redundancy (RD). The compression process is only performed on video files with the .mp4 format. The experimental results show that this algorithm is very effective, and can produce comparisons of Compression Ratio (CR) 51%, Ratio Of Compression (RC) 1.96% and Redundancy 49%. After getting the results of the video file compression, it will be designed into the Microsoft Visual Basic 2008 application

Abstract

In the current Covid-19 era, especially all schools and universities, implementing an online learning system that makes a lot of data needed, one type of data is packaged in a document file with the RTF extension to send information because this file type is quite detailed and flexible in the process. the editing. But sometimes the RTF file has a large data capacity size, so it takes a long time in the data transmission process and results in wasting storage space. Therefore, a data compression technique is needed so that the data size becomes smaller and does not consume a lot of storage space. The compression process can be done with many existing algorithms, in this study the compression process will be carried out with the Elias Gamma Code algorithm and the Goldbach Code algorithm. Which results from the Elias Gamma Code algorithm getting a compression result of 42.5% while the Goldbach Code algorithm gets a compression result of 47.5%. Of the two algorithms there are many advantages and disadvantages of each algorithm, so a comparison process will be carried out between the two algorithms by determining several parameters, namely Ratio of Compression (RC), Compression Ratio (CR), Redundancy (RD), and Space. Savings (SS). From the comparison results, the Goldbach Code algorithm becomes the most effective algorithm for compressing document files with a value of 7,355.

Abstract

The causative factor of rain can occur due to the air temperature in an area or also due to the volume of water carried by the clouds. Tomorrow's weather conditions are needed to draw up various plans. The people of medan city with the work of the majority of employees and traders need information about rainfall. For the past, rainfall forecasts depended heavily on the month, there was a dry season and a rainy season. But nowadays, rainfall is increasingly difficult to predict, so a model or system is needed that can accurately predict rainfall. In this study, it was explained about rainfall prediction using one of the ANN models to predict future rainfall called CNN-LSTM. CNN-LSTM is an artificial neural network system specifically designed to handle long-term time series data such as rainfall. In its architecture, the CNN-LSTM model uses 2 LSTM Hidden Layers consisting of 108 LSTM neurons in each layer. The activation function used is Tanh. The loss function used is Mean Square Error. The result obtained is a model that can better predict rainfall if the input data given to the model is getting longer which is marked by a smaller Root Mean Square Error value.

Abstract

To be able to secure maximum data, we need a method in cryptographic techniques with a combination of steganography techniques. The cryptographic algorithm that can be used to secure data is einstein. This algorithm works by combining each plaintext character with a key character (in this case the length of the key and plaintext must be the same) so as to produce an incomprehensible form (ciphertext). One of the steganographic methods that can be used is end of file (EOF). This method works by inserting the data to be hidden into the image, then extracting it to view the data again. The results of the research conducted by the author, by applying cryptographic techniques and combining them with steganography techniques, obtained a data security system that can secure data optimally.

Abstract

The Photo Editing application is an application that provides various features that are used to create various photos. There are many Photo Editing applications circulating in the play store, so in this case a Decision Support System (DSS) is needed in determining which Novel reading applications must be recommended to the general public. In determining this, there are several alternatives and criteria including rating, number of users, features, user reviews and paid features. A system supporting decision is needed in determining which Photo Editing application is worthy of being recommended with a combination of the ROC (Rank order Centroid) method and generating weight values on certain criteria and the MAUT (Multi-Attribute Utility Theory) method producing the best preferences according to data such as alternatives and criteria that have been determined and produce the best preference value in the 1st alternative, namely Picsart with a value of 0.649.

Abstract

Aek Kanopan Muhammadiyah-24 Private Junior High School is known as MUHADAPAT with the Motto "Islamic, Intelligent, Superior, Achievement". This Tahfizd class is one of the classes with the highest number of registrants increasing every year, seen from previous years. In this case the selection of students entering the tahfizd class of Private Junior High School Muhammadiyah-24 Aek Kanopan However, there are obstacles in selecting students to enter the tahfizd class, because determining the selection results is still manually. So it is necessary to develop a system that can provide recommendations based on the ranking of student selection by applying the MFEP method. The method used in this study is the Multifactor Evaluation Process (MFEP). This method can guarantee to make it easier to determine the selection of students to enter the tahfizd class.

Abstract

As the development of the world of technology is increasingly sophisticated and widespread in obtaining information quickly. Various kinds of technological facilities continue to be developed so that every human being can exchange information properly, especially in sending data such as video files, but large video files can cause problems in storage space and slow down when they want to send video file data. Therefore, a solution is needed to save storage media space and reduce the size of the data stored, reduce memory usage and file size without affecting the information in the file can be overcome by compression. Video compression is a data compression process that is carried out on video files with the aim of reducing video files so that they can be stored or sent quickly and efficiently. In the comparison of the two Prefix Code algorithms with the Run Length Encoding algorithm, both have a lossless compression algorithm, which is a type of compression that can be decompressed and after testing, the results obtained from the comparison of the two algorithms, that the Prefix Code algorithm is better than the Run Length Encoding algorithm. based on the bit size of the file after compression
