Abstract

PT. Karya Solusi Prima Sejahtera is a company engaged in providing professional services in the field of information technology and telecommunications. PT. Karya Solusi Prima Sejahtera also provides services for the construction of telecommunications network and information technology facilities and infrastructure. As an effort to improve the performance of fiber optic technicians at PT. Karya Solusi Prima Sejahtera carried out a performance evaluation stage and then gave rewards to fiber optic technicians who were chosen as the best. The problems that occur in determining the results of the selection of the best fiber optic technician at PT. Karya Solusi Prima Sejahtera, namely the party in charge is still making decisions based on the assessment of one party based on the subjective value of the leadership. The negative impact of this procedure is the result of decision making based on the subjective assessment of the leadership at PT. Karya Solusi Prima Sejahtera, namely the occurrence of injustice because the results of the election were not in accordance with the performance of each alternative that became a candidate for the recipient of the rewards. In an effort to overcome the above problems, in this study the authors built a decision support system for selecting the best fiber optic technician at PT. Karya Solusi Prima Sejahtera using a desktop-based programming language. The decision support system for selecting the best fiber optic technician built for PT. The work of Solusi Prima Sejahtera was carried out by applying the gray absolute decision analysis method in order to produce accurate and reliable decision outputs.

Abstract

In the world of work, power point or pptx files are indispensable as presentation tools. By using pptx for presentations, presentation activities can be easier to explain. However, the problem that occurs is that sometimes the data size of this pptx file is quite large compared to other data, resulting in a waste of storage. So to solve the problem required compression technique, compression is to reduce the number of bits to be fewer, Thus, it is clear that the use of compression aims to reduce the percentage of storage. This research was conducted with the aim and purpose of analyzing the Yamamoto's recursive code algorithm and Fibonacci codes in pptx file compression with parameters, namely Ratio of Compression (RC), Compression Ratio (CR), and also Space Saving (SS). After being compressed then compare the performance of the two algorithms using the exponential method based on the parameter values that have been set. From the results of the study, the results obtained for the Yamamoto's recursive code algorithm with the RC value of 1.26, the CR value of 79.17%, and the SS value of 20.83%. For the results of the Fibonacci code algorithm, the RC value is 1.71, the CR value is 58.33%, the SS value and value is 41.66%. The results of the comparison of Yamammoto's recursive code algorithm and Fibonacci code obtained that the more optimal algorithm in compressing pptx files is the Fiboancci code algorithm with the acquisition of space saving values of 41.66%.

Abstract

Large storage capacities are currently very important because more and more data must be stored, the size of an audio file is sometimes relatively large, because the longer the duration of an audio, the larger the size of the audio file. The size of a file to be stored greatly affects storage space, meaning that if the file size to be stored is large, a large enough storage space is also needed to accommodate the data. The solution to overcome problems like this is to perform data compression techniques. Data compression aims to reduce a file size which can reduce the bit size in each audio file, but does not eliminate the information data in it. By compressing, large data will be reduced in size so as to save storage space. In this study the algorithm used is the boldi-vigna codes algorithm, by using this algorithm, the compression results of each ζ code have different results for each value, so the compression results will be profitable.

Abstract

Serdang Bedagai Regency is one of the areas that has become a rice barn in North Sumatra Province. However, in recent years, rice production in Serdang Bedagai Regency, especially in Lubuk Bayas Village, has decreased. Some of the causes for the decline in productivity levels of crop yields in recent years are caused by erratic weather conditions, unfavorable land, many pests and diseases, and farmers are still based on habits and experience in choosing seeds. In this study, the Multi-Objective Optimization on The Basis of Ratio (Moora) method was applied with the aim of providing the best solution in selecting rice seedlings on sandy loam land (Case Study: Lubuk Bayas Village, Perbaungan District). Based on the criteria set by Lubuk Bayas Village used in this study, namely: plant age, yield potential, resistance to pests, resistance to disease, and productive tillers. This aims to make it easier to choose rice seeds on sandy loamy soils that are superior, so that later the resulting system using a web-based programming language can further assist Lubuk Bayas Village in determining the selection of rice seeds on sandy loamy soils (Case Study: Lubuk Bayas Village Perbaungan District). The results of the ranking values for superior rice seeds obtained in the study show that it is known that alternative A7 rice seeds, namely rice seeds, can be proposed as superior seeds from the results of the selection carried out with a value of 0.3766.

Abstract

Criminal acts are increasing day by day and have significant social effects. Online information media is a daily source of information that contains articles on criminal acts that can be read by citizens or the public in Indonesia. Several online information media portals such as okezone.com, Tribunnews.com, kompas.com and detik.com have become the most frequently accessed online information media. The problem in this study will be to find out the criminal rate based on the data from the crawling of news media online media that has been obtained with the crawling technique, the results of the crawling will be analyzed using the Autoregressive Moving Average algorithm so that the crime rate is known based on the data of online media media. The purpose of this study is to measure the crime rate based on news articles published in online information media in Indonesia so that it can be known and compared to police data obtained from the Central Statistics Agency. In achieving this goal, the crawled data in the form of criminal category data will be used to predict the criminal rate.

Abstract

The problem in the process of determining Jamkesmas candidates faced by the Pantai Labu Health Center still has several problems, such as the existence of subjectivity that tends to assess the Jamkesmas candidates still leads to personal opinions so that the assessment process takes quite a long time because it is done manually, resulting in the decision-assessment process. becomes slow and this is certainly not very good because it affects the smooth operation of the Pantai Labu Health Center. Therefore, to overcome the problems faced by the Pantai Labu health center, a decision support system is needed to select Jamkesmas candidates. When choosing a method, it is necessary to use the additive ratio assessment method (ARAS). The system will obtain a ranking decision based on each alternative choice based on a number of predetermined criteria. The alternative with the most weights is the recommended alternative. To realize the decision support system, a decision support system application program is designed. Designed using a website-based application that will be used with a multi-user concept, which is designed only for user convenience, through this decision support system application, it is expected to facilitate the process of determining Jamkesmas candidates, it is expected to get the best results from the Additive Ratio Assessment (ARAS) method. With the ARAS method, it is hoped that this research can provide assistance to the company in determining Jamkesmas candidates. As for the results of the Decision Support System in the process of determining the Jamkesmas candidate is Alternative A3 with a value of 1.0000 in the name of "Fajar Anugerah".

Abstract

In the field of information technology, data storage is usually carried out by transmitting data using an electronic transmission system. The large size of the data file becomes an obstacle in sending data with a large size which will take quite a long time, especially in video files. Video files are information media that are often used. In general, AVI video files are quite large file formats. So with the research conducted using the Prefix code algorithm and the elias omega code algorithm to compress video files and to perform comparisons, because the second algorithm has a different way of working. Given this difference, a scan is needed to compare the two algorithms to determine which file compression is faster. The exponential method is a method that allows you to perform a comparative analysis of two algorithms. Thus, we can see which yahoo is the best, efficient and fast to compress video files

Abstract

The website is currently growing rapidly, now there is more that users can do on the website, not only to search for information or exchange information. Currently the function of the website has developed much better, even now the website can be used as a video streaming service where users can view the videos they like on the website. However, the size of the video that is large enough can be a barrier or a cause of increasing the cost of using storage on the server. Because the larger the size of the uploaded video, the more storage the server will need to store the video. Compression is a technique that can be used to reduce the size of a data by removing the number of bits contained in a file. For this reason, in dealing with relatively large video file sizes, this solution can be used to overcome this problem. The rice codes algorithm is one of the compression algorithms that can be used to reduce the size of data and is quite effective in compressing video files. In its implementation, utilizing compression techniques using the rice codes algorithm in compressing video files is considered very effective because it can produce a compression ratio (CR) value of 56.875%. Of course, with the results obtained, video files that are relatively large in size can be reduced by half from their original size.

Abstract

At present, mobile devices are developing so rapidly that they have various functions, as well as for multitasking and also have a system such as a computer, so they are also commonly referred to as Smart Devices. Smartphones circulating in the market generally the most in demand are android devices, from android devices are widely used for utilization, the use of smartphone functions, among others, is used for several purposes, so that its development is increasingly widespread, one of which is learning media. The method applied in the learning media is the Asy Syafi'i method where the method was developed at Ma'had Imam Asy Syafi'I and uses the waterfall method in research because this method is very easy to apply in several research cases. The results obtained in this study are creating an Android-based Al-Qur'an learning media application to facilitate today's society where all activities cannot be separated from gadgets.

Abstract

Value transcripts often occur when very important data is still done manually because it still has weaknesses, so the value transcripts are easily copied and printed by irresponsible parties, resulting in the application of incorrect values or transcripts or value transcripts whose contents have been engineered. If users do not use a good security system, they will be exposed to security attacks by using the wrong encryption.One of the solutions to the above problems is to encode the transcript data so that its confidentiality can be protected. One of the algorithms that can be applied is the Q-cipher algorithm. By applying the Q-chiper algorithm, the transcript data can be protected from irresponsible parties and can run well and the transcript data can only be accessed by users who have access rights to process the value transcript data.
