Abstract

The development of technology greatly affects the delivery of information, where previously the transmission of data could only be done with the size of the original file so that the data presented was limited and if the transmission of data and information in large quantities was needed a large storage space so that the process became slow. For example, in an image file or image in JPG format. The better the quality of the resulting image, the larger the hexa size needed to send the image, thus impacting speed and storage space. The solution to the problem is to shrink the file size with compression techniques. The compression algorithm used to compress image files in this study is Fibonacci codes. In addition to easily understanding the encoding process and the decoding process or decompression process, Fibonacci code is also very simple and effective for compressing image files. The technique done by removing some bits in the image file, there are two types of data that are compressed, namely lossy and lossless. In this study, a lossless type was used where the compressed file can be purchased as before without changing it. In the application of the Fibonacci codes, the process of compressing image files is considered very effective because it can produce a value of Compression Ratio (CR) of 62.5% and a Space Saving (Ss) value of 37.5% so that the image file after compression measuring 1,805 KB or 1.76 MB is much smaller than the original size of 2.82 MB.

Abstract

Video files are one type of digital file that is widely used by the public, in video files there is a lot of information because they have more capacity for storage. Information exchange in today's technological era is very sophisticated, only relying on an internet connection, files can be sent quickly and easily to the recipient, the delivery speed process depends on the size of the file and the strength of the internet used, the more information in it, the slower the delivery. Sending large files will require a lot of storage and can affect the overall content of the information not being conveyed and there will be rejection from the recipient. The solution to this problem is to do file compression. In this study the author will discuss the method with the Golomb code algorithm in video file compression. Analysis of the performance of this algorithm with the aim of knowing its performance against video files with the .mp4 extension. In this algorithm there are two stages, namely compression and decompression, the compression stage with the aim of compressing the file size so as to speed up the sending process and the decompression stage aiming to return the file size to its original (original) size. The results of the application that the author did manually with the Golomb code algorithm were based on the values of several elements such as the Ratio of Compression (RC), Compression Ratio (CR), Redundancy (Rd), Space Saving (SS), Bitrate, and Time Compression (TC). , with the conclusion that the percentage of video file compression results using the golomb code algorithm was declared successful.

Abstract

Tomuan Holbung Village is a village in North Sumatra. As a village, there is still information that has not been accessed by many other people through public communication, namely the internet. Where there is a Posyandu currently has a meaningful role to support public health services. The role of the Posyandu is accompanied by the increasingly visible role of the community after the emergence of the Posyandu as a form of community-based health effort. Apart from that, Posyandu activities have been running smoothly so far because of the Posyandu Information System (SIP) book as an implementation guide. Technology contributes to structuring management systems and work processes in government and private agencies. One of the applications of Information Technology in village life is the use of a web-based Mother and Child Posyandu Information System. In this design, the web-based Posyandu information system is analysis, design, coding and testing as well as entity relationship diagrams in designing the database. The Posyandu information system is equipped with a web-based display so that users can adjust the contents in the system as a means of information in designing a web-based Mother and Child Posyandu Information System in Tomuan Holbung Village.

Abstract

Image file sizes are sometimes relatively large where the better the resulting image quality, the larger the pixel size needed to record the image. With a very large image file size, when carrying out the transfer process it fails because the storage space exceeds the limit. The solution to this problem is how the image file can be compressed in order to speed up the transfer and storage of image files. Compression of image files is done by reducing the size of the image file by reducing the bits in the image file, but not eliminating the information data in it. By compressing, large data will be reduced in size so as to save storage space. In this study, the algorithm used is the Elias Omega Code, using this method, the compression results of the values have different results for each value, and the compression results will be beneficial in sending, and moving image files will be easier.

Abstract

Traveling is a very pleasant thing, but traveling is really bad if the Traveler has motion sickness. So that the trip can be enjoyed more, travelers should drink or use anti-motion sickness drugs. There are several recommendations for anti-motion sickness drugs for travelers, such as: Dimenhydrinate, Antimo Strip, Tolak Angin, Dramamine, Promethazine, and Ondansetron. There are many anti motion sickness drugs circulating in the market today, so in this case a decision support system is needed to determine which anti motion sickness drugs are good for consumption by all groups, in determining them there are several alternatives and criteria including Certificates and Permits, Content, Dosage , contraindications, and side effects. A decision support system is needed in determining the best recommendations for motion sickness drugs with a combination of the ROC (Rang Order Centroid) method to produce weight values for certain criteria and the OCRA (Operational Competitiveness Rating Analysis) method which produces the best preferences based on data such as alternatives and criteria. which has been determined, then produces the best preference value in the 3rd alternative, namely Reject Wind with a final preference value of 1.2725 as the best alternative.

Abstract

Data communication is an activity that is very often carried out in the field of information technology. Data with a large size will take a longer transfer time compared to data that has a smaller size, sometimes there is a risk that it cannot be accommodated on the storage media and is not delivered, so that it will reduce the empty capacity in the memory of the storage media. This can cause the data transformation process to be slow and take a long time. The solution that can solve the above problem is by doing compression. Compression is a technique that can reduce the size of the image to be smaller than its original size. This compression performs a compression technique with compression properties where it is allowed to lose some or most of the data in the image. The algorithm used in this study is the LZ78 algorithm with the Walsah-Hadamard Transform algorithm. To find out the comparison of the compression performance, the parameters to be compared are Ratio of Compression (RC), Space Saving (SS). Based on the results of the researcher's test in comparing the LZ78 algorithm with the Walsh-Hadamard Transformation, the compression value obtained by calculating the ratio that the Walsh-Hadamard Transform algorithm is better than LZ78 where the results of the comparison of the Ratio of Compression of the Walsh-Hadamard Transformation algorithm are 0.71 bits, while the Ratio of 2.66 bit LZ78 compression algorithm. LZ78 62.5% while the Compression Ratio algorithm Walsh-Hadamard Transformation 76%

Abstract

The process of running the MSME for the Klambir Lima Kebun village community is carried out conventionally, namely by word of mouth promotion, using banners, billboards and the business management and sales process is carried out manually which is recorded in the book. The methods used by the community experienced many problems and reduced service quality and led to management of sales reports. This will certainly require a solution so that it can improve the community's economy and the MSME community management process becomes better in a systematic manner. The digital Kede Desa (Kedes) system can be built with a responsive web-based system with the aim of being able to overcome the problems of MSME entrepreneurs becoming digital users and can implement it properly. The development cycle using the SDLC (Systems development life cycle) method is used to build a Kede Desa system so that it runs as expected and uses UML as a tool for documenting and making specifications on the system.

Abstract

The ability to think creatively is the ability of students to find solutions that are unusual, unique and have never been found by others. The purpose of this study was to determine the level of creative thinking skills possessed by students. The approach to this study uses the Simple Additive Weighting (SAW) method, often also known as the weighted sum method. The basic concept of the SAW method is to find the weighted sum of the performance ratings for each alternative on all attributes. The results of this study show that students can be divided into 2 parts of creative students, namely creative students are accepted and students who are not creative are not accepted. Data collection is done by providing creative types that have been done by students and includes indicators of creative thinking skills, namely fluency, flexibility, originality and elaboration. In this study, it was found that 5 students had a very creative thinking ability, 1 student had a creative thinking ability and 1 student had a low creative thinking ability.

Abstract

Cooperatives as a form of organization that is important in increasing economic growth. Savings and loans cooperatives are one of the alternatives for members to get funds in an effort to improve the standard of living, meet daily needs and develop a business. In addition, savings and loan cooperatives are also one of the options for investing funds (saving). People like to save in savings and loan cooperatives because in addition to the accused, they also get year-end interest or can also get residual business proceeds.  At the Office of Cooperatives and SMEs in Medan Helvetia District, the process of processing savings and loans data is currently still doing manual methods. This kind of data processing can cause insecure data in storage. Therefore, the research will create a data processing system with sufficient computerization. So that the report that will be needed can later be processed appropriately by the Office of Cooperatives and SMEs of Medan Helvetia District. From the problems that have been obtained so that a solution can be obtained from its handling by implementing a web-based savings and loans application, hopefully this application can help the Medan Helvetia District Cooperatives and SMEs Office in handling the problem of processing savings and loan reports so that it does not take time.

Abstract

The establishment of the STM in Kelambir Lima Kebun Village aims to build friendship, help each other in an atmosphere of joy and sorrow among Muslims who live in Kelambir Lima Kebun Village, besides that it is also to maintain harmony in neighborly life and social relations among residents. Kelambir Lima Kebun Village in general and especially those who are Muslim. Some of the problems that then arise are financial management information that is not transparent and financial organization reports that are not yet appropriate, this can further disrupt the harmony of neighbors. Therefore, the STMKu website was created which can be a medium of information for members and the public regarding financial management information and activities carried out by the organization. The purpose of this research is to design a management system for STM financial organizations in Kelambir Lima Kebun Village. This application is built based on a website using the waterfall system development model.
