Abstract

The current condition, where the rapid flow of globalization and technological progress is increasing so that everything regarding foreign countries will be easily and unlimited.The impact of this current of globalization has caused the fading of the spirit of nationalism and patriotism among the younger generation.Many factors cause the fading of the spirit of nationalism, but one of the biggest is that foreign cultures are more considered modern and according to the times so that they are more likely to like and be interested in the culture of foreign countries.By using a qualitative method with a descriptive approach with data used based on literature studies based on references from previous research on the role of pancasila in growing awareness of the nationalism of the younger generation in the era of globalization.The results obtained in this study, namely Pancasila, play an important role in growing nationalism awareness, because pancasila is the ideology and basis of the state.Pancasila is the basis of all things, so the life of individuals, communities, nations, and countries must be in accordance with ancestral values and values contained in every precept of pancasila.

Abstract

This study aims to disclose information and discuss the Efforts to Improve the Professionalism of High Class Teachers in Developing Diktat Lessons through Group Guidance at SD Negeri 07 Mancuang Semester II (Two) Academic Year 2021/2022. The type of research carried out is School Action Research. The research was conducted at SD Negeri 07 Mancuang, Agam Regency. This research was carried out in the Even Semester of the 2021/2022 Academic Year, starting from February to May 2022. The research subjects were 5 teachers who were assisted by the academic year 2021/2022. The research procedure consisted of two cycles with four stages of research starting from planning, implementing, observing and reflecting. Data collection techniques using instruments and observation sheets. The collected data were analyzed using the percentage formula. The results of the research on the average of the first cycle obtained the sufficient category to obtain an average of 3.1 with a percentage of 62.5%. It can be concluded that the ability of teachers to compose lesson instructions is still in the sufficient category, while teachers who are in the good category are only 1.6 or 32.5%. In the implementation of cycle 2 of the 8 aspects mentioned above, it can be concluded that almost all teachers have understood the components and systematics in preparing lesson instructions. Based on the results of the research described above, it can be concluded that through group guidance, teachers can improve the ability of teachers in preparing the Diktat Lessons at SDN 07 Mancuang.

Abstract

This study aims to see and analyze the Increase in Student Activities and Learning Outcomes the Theme of My Daily Tasks Material Money Through the Discovery Learning Model with the Assignment Method in Class II SDN 02 Gurun. This research was carried out using the Classroom Action Research method which consisted of two cycles, where each cycle consisted of: planning, action, observation and reflection. It is carried out from August to October 2021. Data is processed in each cycle and then analyzed using percentages. The results obtained from this study are the discovery learning model, the assignment method can improve student learning outcomes. This is evident from the increase in the learning activities of pre-cycle students = 63%, cycle I = 75%, and cycle II = 88%. For teacher activity in pre-cycle = 61%, cycle I = 72%, and cycle II = 92%, for mastery learning knowledge increased from pre-cycle 65.29 = 47%, cycle I 71.17 = 59%, and cycle II 80 ,00 = 82% For mastery learning skills, namely pre-cycle, pre-cycle 68.23 = 59%, cycle I 74.11 = 65% and cycle II 80.58 = 82%. The conclusion obtained from this research is that the use of the discovery learning model of the assignment method can increase the activities and learning outcomes of students.

Abstract

The implementation of supervision by the principal must be carried out continuously considering that improving teacher performance cannot be done instantly. As a supervisor, the principal must be able to understand the characteristics and conditions of each teacher so that what is the essence or purpose of supervision can be achieved. In addition, the principal must also be able to plan, implement, and follow up on the results of the supervision. In general, the purpose of this study was to examine the implementation of clinical supervision by the principal at the UPTD SD Negeri 04 Taeh Bukik, Lima Puluh Kota Regency. This research was carried out in two cycles, each cycle having two meetings. The stages of each cycle are planning, implementation, observation, and reflection. The principal as an educational leader has a very large role in developing the performance of school teachers. Principals in an effort to improve teacher performance, must be able to help teachers achieve the shared goals that have been set. Assistance to teachers in carrying out these tasks, can be done through the implementation of educational supervision. Educational supervision puts emphasis on the process of forming and developing teachers' professional abilities, which begins with making improvements in the way teachers teach in the classroom, in this way it is hoped that students can learn well, so that teaching goals can be achieved optimally. The principal as a supervisor is expected to be able to carry out his duties by supervising the learning process of teachers in the classroom, in order to improve the professional abilities of teachers which is reflected in the ability to manage the learning process of teachers in the classroom, which includes: mastering subject matter in terms of mastering the field of study or subjects he/she holds, plans learning programs, implements and leads/manages the learning process, assesses the progress of the learning process.

Abstract

The ability of students to understand mathematical concepts is the initial capital for students to solve all forms of problems in mathematics. Given the importance of understanding mathematical concepts for students in solving mathematical problems and the team quiz learning has never been applied by the teacher in learning mathematics, a study was conducted to see the effect of the team quiz learning model on students' ability to understand mathematical concepts. This research approach is a quantitative quasi-experimental type with a non-equivalent control group design. The sampling technique is random sampling. The data collection technique of this research is a test. The instrument used is a written test in the form of an essay. The data analysis technique is prerequisite test (normality test using the Lilliefors analysis method and homogeneity test using the one way anova analysis method and hypothesis testing using the normalized gain analysis method (n-gain) and independent sample t test. The results show that there is an effect of the team quiz learning model on the ability to understand mathematical concepts.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the low motivation of students to learn in the subject of Plantation Plant Seedlings in Class XI SMKN 1 Ranah Pesisir. This is shown by some students just sitting and silent when the lesson is in progress. Passive children do not want to ask questions when they encounter difficulties, they choose to be silent, only students with high abilities dare to express their opinions. So that it affects the classical mastery of the previous subject below 60%, while the classical mastery limit is above 75%. The purpose of this study was to determine the cause of the lack of student motivation in learning activities in the subject of Plantation Plant Seedlings in class XI ATP at SMK Negeri 1 Ranah Pesisir. The subjects in this study were students of class XI Competency in Agribusiness Plantation Plantation Skills at SMK Negeri 1 Ranah Pesisir, totaling 24 students. This research was carried out from July to September 2019 in the 2019/2020 Academic Year in Class XI of Plantation Agribusiness Skills Competence (ATP) at SMK Negeri 1 Ranah Pesisir. This research was conducted in two cycles. Where each cycle begins with planning, implementation, observation/reflection, and follow-up. The results showed student learning outcomes in the first cycle under the KKM A total of 8 students answered correctly and 4 students scored above the KKM, after the question and answer method and using power points increased learning outcomes in class XI ATP students where almost 11 students scored above the KKM and 4 students below the KKM. The increase in student learning activities has reached 52.78%, meaning that more than half of the students have responded to the questions asked by the teacher and are able to understand the learning material well.

Abstract

One of the abilities that must be possessed and mastered by a student in the 21st century is problem solving ability. Mathematical skills are expected to be able to meet the needs of students today and in the future. The purpose of this study was to describe the results of student problem solving analysis based on the SOLO Taxonomy. This study used a qualitative descriptive approach to analyze the data. Based on the results of data analysis, it was found that students with different SOLO levels had differences and similarities at each stage of problem solving. At the stage of understanding the problem, the three subjects can identify what is known and what is asked in the problem, only the extended abstract subject adds to make a mathematical model on what is known. At the stage of planning the completion of the three subjects, they were able to mention several concepts, principles and procedures on the problem to solve the problem. At the stage of implementing the plan, the three subjects had already completed the questions based on the plans that had been made, but in the multistructural subject the answers given were not appropriate/relevant to what was asked for in the questions. At the re-examination stage, the three subjects re-examined by re-checking the formula, re-examining the work and recalculation of the results, but only the extended abstract subject could provide several different solutions.

Abstract

The aim of study this classroom action research is to find out whether the Project Based Learning Model Focus Group Discussion method can improve the activities and learning outcomes of students class XII .MIA.1 MAN 2 Payakumbuh even semester 2021/2022 academic year. This research with two cycles. The results of observing student activities showed a significant increase, from 44.31% in the first cycle to 79.36% in the second cycle. The results of learning knowledge show that in the first cycle the average learning outcomes of students' knowledge is 84.67. Up by 8.55% from pre-cycle. Completeness from pre-cycle to cycle I increased from 19 students in pre-cycle to 28 students with a percentage increase of 17.39%. Furthermore, in the second cycle the average learning outcomes rose to 92.33 from the first cycle with a percentage increase of 9.05% with an increase in completeness from 28 people to 100% complete from 30 students. The percentage increase in completeness is 7.15%. For skills learning outcomes, the average skills learning outcomes are also almost the same as knowledge learning outcomes. The data showed that in the first cycle the average student learning outcomes were 84.67, an increase of 11.10% from the pre-cycle. Completeness from pre-cycle to cycle I also increased from 23 students in the pre-cycle to 27 students with a percentage increase of 17.42%. In the second cycle, the average learning outcomes rose to 96.37 (very good category) from the first cycle with a percentage increase of 9.80% with an increase in completeness from 27 people to complete 100% with the same number of students. The percentage increase in completeness is 11.11%. The conclusion obtained from this research is that the learning model of the Project Based Learning Model Focus Group Discussion method can increase the activities and learning outcomes of students.

Abstract

This study aims to see and analyze the increase in motivation and learning outcomes of students in economic subjects with the material Central Bank, Payment Systems and Payment Instruments in the Indonesian Economy with the Projects Based Learning Model Giving Assignment Method in Class X.IPS.3 MAN 2 Payakumbuh Even Semester 2021/2022 Academic Years. This research consists of two cycles, where each cycle consists of; planning, action, reflection, and evaluation. It was carried out from January to April 2022. The data was processed in each cycle and then analyzed using percentages. The results obtained from this study are the Project based learning model, the assignment method can increase students' motivation and learning outcomes. This is evidenced by an increase in student motivation in cycle I and cycle II, the results obtained for motivation are 80.75% while in cycle II it is 92.85%. The increase in the average value of learning outcomes for knowledge competence in Cycle I was from 80.56 to 90.00 in Cycle II and learning outcomes for skill competencies increased from 86.39 in Cycle I to 91.53 in Cycle II. Students' learning mastery for knowledge in the first cycle which was completed was 30 people (83.33%) and for skills 30 people were also completed (83.33%) while in the second cycle the results were obtained for knowledge of 34 people who were complete (94.44%) while for the skills of 35 people who have completed (97.22 %). The conclusion obtained from this research is that the use of the Project based learning model of the assignment method can increase students' motivation and learning outcomes.
