Jurnal Kreativitas Pengabdian kepada Masyarakat (PKM) merupakan jurnal yang bertaraf nasional yang memiliki fokus utama pada pengaplikasian hasil penelitian dan ilmu-ilmu di bidang kesehatan yang dilakukan pada masyarakat dalam bentuk pengabdian kepada masyarakat. Lingkup bidang pengabdian kepada masyarakat antara lain meliputi pelatihan, penyuluhan, pendidikan kesehatan dan pemberdayaan masyarakat. Pengabdian kepada masyarakat berisi berbagai kegiatan penanganan dan pencegahan berbagai potensi, kendala, tantangan, dan masalah kesehatan yang ada di masyarakat. Pelaksanaan kegiatan pengabdian juga melibatkan partisipasi masyarakat dan mitra. Kegiatan pengabdian tersebut disusun dalam suatu kegiatan yang bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kesejahteraan kesehatan masyarakat. Tujuan dari publikasi jurnal ini adalah untuk menyebarluaskan pemikiran konseptual atau ide-ide yang telah dicapai di bidang kesehatan.

Abstract

ABSTRACT One od preventive way to prevent dental growth disorders in children is going to dentist every 6 months. Giving dental health education to  parents who have children aged 5-9 years is very important because in this is a critical period, period of growth and development, especially the period of permanent dentition, this is done so that dental caries in children does not occur. Objectives of this activities are increasing knowledge of parents in Trans Tanjungan village about Dental and Oral health. The activities are education using leaflets and demonstrations.  Education can increase parents knowledge about caring dental and oral health.

Abstract

ABSTRACT Diarrheal is still the leading cause of death in the world, about 5-10 million deaths/year. Morbidity and mortality rate caused by diarrhea still high. World Health Organization estimates 4 billion cases worldwide and 2.2 million are dead, and most children are under 5 years old. The purpose of the activity is to increase people knowledge about diarrhea in children, and using public health of Sekincau. The education was done at Saturday, December 16, 2017. Methods using education among mothers about diarrhea in the work area public  health center Sekincau West Lampung Barat. There was significant influence on mother's knowledge before and after education. Provision of education to people Keywords: Diarrhea, Children, Knowledge.

Abstract

ABSTRACTThe most important nutritional problem  in Indonesia is less calories and protein. It is commonly found in infants and children. Various reasons  on  mothers who misunderstanding about  exclusive breastfeeding  to their babies, including the production , the desire to be modern mother and the influence of substitute advertising milk and the assumption that everyone already has knowledge about breastfeeding. The purpose of the activity is expected to be able to understand about the importance of exclusive breastfeeding in babies. This activity was  carried out on Friday, December 15, 2017. The activities carried out in the form of counseling to mothers about the importance of exclusive Breastfeeding  in Posyandu Mawar Pekon Sidomulyo Lampung Barat using leaflets. There was a significant influence on mother's knowledge before and after exclusive counseling. Abstract

ABSTRACTIndonesia in 2013 amounted to 248.4 million people. The government's policy in overcoming this is by establishing Family Planning (KB) program as government program since 1970 together with National Family Planning Coordinating Agency with the aim to suppress the growth of population and improve reproductive health status . The target of the Family Planning Program is divided into 2, namely the direct and indirect goals.  The objectives is to increase knowledge of fertile couples of Way Panji, South Lampung about reproductive health and birth control program by contraception. This activity was done on Monday, December 25, 2017 UPT Puskesmas way Panji South Lampung with the number of participants 19 people. The result of this avtivity expected that the community can manage the number of children and the time of birth so can reduce risks to mothers, then create a healthier and better family. Keywords: Contraception, Birth, Reproduction

Abstract

ABSTRACTWorld Health Organization (WHO) data showed that Indonesia ranks 4th largest number of people with diabetes mellitus after India, China and the United States. In 2013 it was estimated that the number of diabetics in Indonesia has reached 14 million people, of which only 50% are aware of it and among them only about 30% who come for regular treatment. The objective of this activity is to increase knowledge people about the examination, treatment and foot gymnastic DM in people with diabetes mellitus. This activity was done  on Monday, December 18, 2017. The activities consist of Examination, Treatment and Gymnastics Prolanis In Elderly with Diabetes Mellitus at UPT Puskesmas Kota Bumi Lampung Utara 2017 with the method was using leaflets and demonstrations. There was a change in the knowledge and techniques of prolanic gymnastics. Hope this prolanic exercise techniques of DM patients can reduce wounds in patients with DM. Keywords: Gymnastics, DM, Puskesmas.

Abstract

ABSTRACT Prevention of mosquito population was done by eradication of mosquito larvae, mosquito eggs, and mosquitoes in various ways. The larvae are targeted in controlling that act as vector-borne diseases through mosquitoes, such as malaria and dengue hemorrhagic fever. The purpose of the activity is expected to understand how to eradicate mosquito breeding. This activity was done on Thursday, December 14, 2017. The activity consist of education to the residents on how to eradicate mosquito breeding in the work area of Way Halim health center, using LCD and leaflets. There was a significant result of people knowledge after education. Thus, the provision of education can provide increased knowledge, especially with regard to eradicating mosquito breeding. Keywords: Mosquito, Larva, Eradication

Abstract

ABSTRACT Rheumatism, stiff, muscle and joint pain, are common illnesses in our lives. And mostly in elder people who are close to rheumatic disorders which is one of the degenerative diseases. The objective of the activity is increasing knowledge of participants about rheumatic care. This activity was done at Monday, December 18, 2017. The education was done using poster and leaflets. The result of education  showed  an increase knowledge in elder people is about 70%. Recommended that elderly participants can perform rheumatic disease treatment by avoiding trigger factors and performing rheumatic exercises. Keywords: Rheumatism, Elderly, Care.

Abstract

ABSTRACT The prevalence of hypertension in Indonesia was 9.4 percent, diagnosed with health personnel or taking medication at 9.5 percent. So, there were 0.1 percent who take their own medication. Respondents who had normal blood pressure but were taking hypertension drugs were 0.7 percent. So the prevalence of hypertension in Indonesia is 26.5 percent. The purpose of this activity was increasing knowledge of participants abaout hypertension. The education was done at Wednesday, December 13, 2017. Education was done by discussing.  Direct evaluation using question and answer about hypertension, causes of hypertension, signs and symptoms and also a free health check up.
