Abstract

Currently women hold a vital role both in business even in household. Given that the group has a very strategic position because this group becomes a determinant in decision making of household financial. Therefore, the financial literacy of women is very needed to be a guide in the financial decision making process so that the role of women can run properly and appropriately. This research aims to determine the influence of financial behavior, financial attitude, and financial knowledge on financial literacy of well educated women in Makassar city. This research is a quantitative research with descriptive and causal data analysis. Respondents studied in this research numbered to 100 well-educated women in Makassar. This study uses four variables, namely three independent variables and one dependent variable. The independent variable consists of financial behavior, financial attitude, and financial knowledge while the dependent variable is financial literacy . The results of this study indicate that the financial behavior is in the position of 73.74% and included in good category. Financial attitude has a percentage of 82.47% and included in good category. Financial knowledge has a percentage of 84.57% and included in excellent category. Financial literacy has a percentage of 78.52% and included in good category. The results of this research indicate that financial knowledge has a significant influence on financial literacy.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the development of creative industries, the usefulness of the implementation of entrepreneurship training, the factors that support and inhibit, and formulate a creative industry development strategy based on entrepreneurship training in an effort to develop local economic areas in the city of Parepare. This research is a type of evaluation research using a qualitative approach. This research was conducted in Parepare Town of South Sulawesi. The subjects of the study were the participants of entrepreneurship training in Kota Parepare, and the Department of Manpower of Parepare City as the manager and implementer of training through UPTD BLK Kota Parepare. Data collection techniques used are Document study, observation, and interview. Data analysis techniques include: (a) Data processing, which consists of categorization and data reduction, (b) data presentation, (c) data interpretation, and (d) drawing conclusions/verifications. The results show that (1) The development of creative industries through entrepreneurship training includes: Information and Communication Technology, Garment Apparel, Beauty, Building, Electrical Engineering, Electronic Engineering, Refrigeration, Manufacturing Engineering, and Welding Technique; (2) The usefulness of the implementation of entrepreneurship training that can shorten the learning period, improve business performance, establish attitudes, help solve business operational problems, prepare entrepreneurs to acquire expertise in certain fields, and produce output that has the ability and knowledge that qualified (3) There are several factors that support and hinder the development of creative industries through entrepreneurship training in developing creative industries, both internal and external factors, and (4) development strategy based creative industry entrepreneurship in an effort to develop the local economy of recruitment and selection of trainees, selection of training instructors, the provision of facilities and infrastructure, curriculum development, and the provision of funds or training budgets.

Abstract

This research is conducted to reveal the influence of Discovery Learning method toward students’ concept understanding improvement on Introduction of Economy and Business subject in SMKN 1 Bandung. The method used in this research is quasi experimental with nonequivalent pretest-posttest control group design. The data analysis teknik with parametric statistical, test of difference (paired samples t-test and independent samples t-test), gain score and effect size calculationused in this research is SPSS v21. The result shown that the use of Discovery Learning method is more effective toimprove the understanding of the concept than the ExpositoryLearning method does.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the effect of socialization parents against consumtive behavior of students class X in Senior High School 4 Pagaralam. This research method is associative research. The samples used in this research are 64 students of X class of IPS Department in SMA Negeri 4 Pagaralam. Primary data collection techniques using questionnaires. Data analysis technique used is simple regression analysis. The results of this study there is a significant effect of parental socialization on consumptive behavior where the effect is positive. The findings of this study that the parents' socialization influence on student consumptive behavior is 39.3% while the rest is influenced by other factors not examined in this study

Abstract

This research is conducted to reveal the influence of Problem Based Learning method toward students’ critical thinking ability improvement on Introduction of Economy and Business subject in SMKN 1 Bandung. The method used in this research is quasi experimental with Nonequivalent (Pretest and Posttest) Control Group Design. The data analysis technique with parametric statistical, test of dif­ference (paired samples t-test and independent samples t-test), gain score and effect size calculation used in this research is SPSS versi 21. The result shown that the use of Problem Based Learning method is more effective to improve the critical thinking ability than the Jigsaw techniques. learning

Abstract

Tulisan ini merupakan sebuah pemikiran dan kajian atas kegiatan yang telah dilakukan sebelumnya mengenai desain pembelajaran yang berbasis kepada penerapan teori belajar bruner. Dalam setiap kegiatan belajar mengajar, hasil belajar selalu dijadikan tolak ukur, apabila hasil belajar tidak sesuai dengan harapan maka dikatakan kegiatan belajar mengajar tersebut belum memadai. Melihat kondisi seperti ini sudah selayaknya bagaimana dilakukan upaya agar hasil belajar yang diperoleh memuaskan. Perkembangan teori belajar mengalami banyak perubahan dalam perjalanannya, salah satu teori yang berkembang pada saat ini adalah teori behaviouristik yang secara jelas menekankan bahwa perilaku yang muncul dari peserta didik merupakan hasil belajar. Namun pada praktiknya perilaku yang muncul dari hasil belajar, tidak dengan sendirinya akan terbentuk dan terlihat tanpa adanya proses belajar yang baik. Atas dasar hal inilah ternyata pengembangan pembelajaran berorientasi proses sangat penting seperti yang dilakukan oleh Bruner. Dengan melihat implementasi yang telah dilakukan tersebut maka teori belajar bruner dapat menyempurnakan hasil belajar yang akan berdampak pada perilaku peserta didik.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh permasalahan yang terjadi pada guru yaitu belum memanfaatkan lingkungan sekitar sebagai sumber pembelajaran yang optimal, sehingga peserta didik banyak yang tidak mengenal lingkungan sekitar dan kurang memiliki kepedulian terhadap lingkungannya. Kemampuan peserta didik dalam berpikir kritis masih sangat terbatas, sehingga hasil belajar yang diperoleh belum maksimal. Rumusan masalah dalam penelitian ini yaitu bagaimana kemampuan berpikir kritis peserta didik dengan memanfaatkan lingkungan sekitar sebagai sumber pembelajaran melalui metode inkuiri, dengan yang tidak memanfaatkan lingkungan sekitar melalui metode ceramah, serta mengetahui respon peserta didik dan kendala guru dalam meningkatkan kemampuan berpikir kritis dengan memanfaatkan lingkungan sekitar. Metode inkuiri diterapkan agar peserta didik diharapkan mampu berpikir kritis yang di dalamnya terdapat indikator-indikator : orientasi pada masalah, belajar meneliti, pemecahan masalah, mengembangkan dan menyajikan hasil pemecahan masalah dan menganalisa proses pemecahan masalah melalui pengamatan lingkungan yaitu Kawasan Punclut yang merupakan kawasan yang terletak di Bandung Utara. Kawasan ini merupakan bagian dari cekungan Bandung yang memiliki kondisi alam dan keterkaitan ekosistem yang sangat penting untuk menjadi kawasan hutan lindung, dan sebagai salah satu generator iklim mikro serta entry point bagi penataan kawasan Bandung Utara, dimana indikator yang diteliti adalah vegetasi, kemiringan lereng, pola penggunaan lahan dan kedalaman air tanah (dilihat dari kedalaman sumur gali). Subjek penelitian adalah peserta didik kelas VII SMPN 52 Bandung tahun ajaran 2012-2013. Metode penelitian yang dipakai adalah classrom action research dengan teknik pengumpulan data berupa pedoman observasi di lapangan, observasi di dalam kelas, tes berpikir kritis, dan wawancara kepada guru dan peserta didik. Secara umum hasil penelitian menunjukkan terdapat peningkatan berpikir kritis pada kelas yang memanfaatkan lingkungan sekitar sebagai sumber belajar melalui metode inkuiri. Dari hasil penelitian ini dapat disimpulkan bahwa pemanfaatan lingkungan sekitar sebagai sumber belajar dapat meningkatkan cara berpikir kritis peserta didik. Rekomendasi yang dapat disampaikan : 1) Dibutuhkan kepiawaian guru untuk merancang perencanaan pembelajaran yang sesuai dengan tujuan pembelajaran dan lingkungan yang berada di sekitar sekolah. 2) Sebelum peserta didik memanfaatkan lingkungan sekitarnya, hendaknya mereka dibekali wawasan keilmuan dan hubungan sosial dengan masyarakat sebagai landasan dasar berpikir kritis.

Abstract

Environmental changed requires organizations to adapt. Organizations must integrated both internally and innovatively. The quality of education in educational institutions affects the quality of education nationally. Where the quality, determined by the students, lecturers, curriculum, learning strategies, media, infrastructure, time, availability of funds, community and socio-culture. Thus, every educational institution was no exception Institute of Economic Science Kridatama Bandung needed a new learning strategy. STIE Kridatama Bandung Campus Majority of student employees were required to receive higher education by companies and institutions where they work, then there must be problems as follows: a) Lazy learning, b) No concentration when lecturers explained, c) Passive students when lecturers explained, d) Own discussion with other friends, e) Gain low grades, therefore special handling needed to address such issues with innovative learning strategies such as jigsaw. The research method used was qualitative approach through observation on 84 students with the provision of UTS and UAS tests for their interest in learning. From the results of research implementation, the learning done by lecturers through jigsaw strategy, student activity showed there was improvement. Thus, the lecturer's learning process and learning strategy of one unity can not be separated. In conclusion, that lecturers and learning strategies were needed in supporting the learning process in universities to achieve quality education.

Abstract

This study aimed to determine the differences in concept comprehension ability of student who received expository method with cooperative learning model type STAD (student Teams Achievment Division) on the subject of economy. The method used is a quasi-experimental method, the study subjects consisted of two classes of class X1 (control Group) and X2 (experiment group). Data was collected through observation and written test given to the student. Data processing is performed by t-test (paired-sample t-test) and the independent sample t-test using SPSS 21 application. Based on the result of the study showed that the model of cooperative learning type STAD can improve students’ ability to comprehension concept. Increased ability to comprehension concept student using cooperative learning type STAD model is higher than the increase in comprehension concept ability of student using expository teaching methods.

Abstract

Critical thinking is a way of thinking by knowing and analyzing things to get a solution. Critical thinking skills applied in students to learn to solve problems / problems. This study aims to determine the ability of critical thinking of high school students in cooperative material in class X. The method used in this research is descriptive method. Subjects in this study are high school students of class X in Kabupaten Ciamis. The sample used is 93 students, consisting of 3 classes of 32 students from IIS 1, 27 students from IIS 2 and 34 students from IIS 3. The research instrument used is about knowledge about cooperative material which amounts to 25 choices double with four alternative answer choices, the questions used are arranged according to critical thinking indicator with C4-C6 cognitive level. Data analysis used is quantitative descriptive analysis. the average of students' critical thinking early ability is 49.35% (Low) or in the low category. The low initial ability of critical thinking makes the researcher assume that students are not used to get the problem with cognitive level of C4-C6 on cooperative material. So it is necessary to do better coaching to improve students' critical thinking skills. In addition, students are also required or accustomed in solving problems with high levels of cognitive C4-C6 or cognitive level.
