Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh brand ambassador terhadap keputusan pembelian yang dimediasi oleh reference group dan brand trust pada produk skintific. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif dan melibatkan masyarakat umum berusia 17-30 tahun yang menggunakan produk perawatan kulit skintific. Penelitian ini memanfaatkan 124 sampel yang dianalisis menggunakan metode PLS SEM dengan program Smart PLS versi 4.0. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa brand ambassador tidak memiliki pengaruh positif signifikan terhadap keputusan pembelian, sedangkan reference group dan brand trust memiliki pengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap keputusan pembelian. Berdasarkan hasil specific indirect effect, reference group dan brand trust dapat memediasi pengaruh brand ambassador terhadap keputusan pembelian secara positif dan signifikan.

Abstract

Employer branding is a strategic approach to attracting and retaining top talent, particularly from leading universities. This study aims to analyze the implementation of employer branding strategies in attracting high-quality candidates, using a mixed-method approach that combines a survey of 133 students from three top Indonesian universities and interviews with company alumni. The results show that development value, social value, and application value are the most appreciated dimensions among students. However, there is a noticeable gap between the employer value proposition (EVP) communicated by the company and the candidates’ perceptions. This misalignment may reduce the effectiveness of branding strategies if not addressed. The study recommends aligning the EVP with internal realities, engaging alumni as branding ambassadors, and designing transparent career development paths. These findings are expected to serve as a reference for companies in formulating talent acquisition strategies that align with the expectations of the younger generation.

Abstract

Penelitian ini membahas analisis faktor-faktor yang berpengaruh pada keputusan masyarakat mengurangi penggunaan kantong plastik di Kota Denpasar. Objek dari penelitian ini adalah masyarakat Kota Denpasar. Metode yang dilakukan dalam penelitian ini yaitu menggunakan metode survei kuantitatif berupa kuesioner skala likert. Adapun variabel dalam penelitian ini meliputi tiga variabel bebas yaitu pengetahuan lingkungan, kesadaran lingkungan, dan pendapatan, kemudian satu variabel terikat yaitu keputusan mengurangi penggunaan kantong plastik. Hasil penelitian yaitu variabel pengetahuan lingkungan dan kesadaran lingkungan berpengaruh dan signifikan terhadap keputusan mengurangi penggunaan kantong plastik masyarakat Kota Denpasar. Sementara itu, untuk variabel pendapatan tidak terdapat bukti statistik yang cukup untuk menyatakan bahwa variabel pendapatan berpengaruh terhadap variabel keputusan mengurangi penggunaan kantong plastik masyarakat Kota Denpasar. Merujuk pada hasil uji dominan pada variabel karakteristik responden, dapat disimpulkan bahwa variabel karakteristik dominan dalam penelitian ini adalah variabel karakteristik usia, yang memiliki nilai beta terbesar secara absolut dan satu-satunya yang bersifat signifikan. Hasil penelitian ini dapat menjadi bahan evaluasi bagi pihak pemerintah agar senantiasa meningkatkan upaya untuk mendongkrak pengetahuan lingkungan dan kesadaran lingkungan masyarakat. Selain itu, juga menjadi kontribusi pemikiran kepada masyarakat Kota Denpasar, terkait upaya penggunaan tas ramah lingkungan sebagai pengganti kantong plastik.

Abstract

The tuna fisheries sector plays a crucial role in regional economic development and is a strategic commodity in Indonesia's maritime diplomacy. However, despite the geographical proximity between the Sangihe Islands in Indonesia and General Santos City in the southern Philippines, formal trade cooperation in the tuna sector was not realized until 2024. This study explores the strategies implemented by the Consulate General of the Republic of Indonesia in Davao City to strengthen tuna fishing trade relations between the Sangihe Islands and General Santos City. Data was collected through in-depth interviews with economic officials at the Consulate General of the Republic of Indonesia in Davao City, supported by secondary data from academic journals, official reports, and credible online sources. The findings indicate that the Consulate General of the Republic of Indonesia in Davao City has implemented comprehensive strategies as a facilitator, including document translation, facilitation of trade forums, promotional activities, and technical training on tuna handling by Philippine standards. These efforts resulted in the official export of three tons of fresh tuna from the Sangihe Islands in early 2024. In conclusion, the economic diplomacy of the Indonesian Consulate General in Davao City has played a key role in fostering sustainable trade relations and enhancing Indonesia's regional influence in Mindanao.

Abstract

Company value is the main factor that describes market conditions on the performance and possibilities of a company. The purpose of this study is to analyze the effect of capital structure, company size, and sales growth on company value, with financial performance intervening. Research with associative quantitative analysis using secondary data, namely the annual financial reports of companies in the Fast-Moving Consumer Goods sector published on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) from 2022–2024. The sample was selected through a purposive sampling method, in 30 companies that met the criteria and a sample of 90. Using path analysis techniques to find out the direct and indirect relationships of each variable. The results of this study prove that partially, capital structure and company size do not affect company value or financial performance. Sales growth does not have a direct effect on company value, but affects financial performance, which then has a significant impact on company value. Simultaneously, capital structure, company size, and sales growth do not affect financial performance, but significantly affect company value through financial performance as an intervening variable.

Abstract

Economic learning activities are often carried out to not only memorize concepts, but also understand, criticize, and apply them in real situations. This is done by analyzing data, making decisions in diagnosing problems, and understanding the impact or solution of a problem by students. The research has the following intentions: 1) to know the problem analysis using the Problem Based Learning (PBL) model to develop students' critical thinking skills in Economics class X IIS, 2) to know the problem diagnosis using the Problem Based Learning (PBL) model to develop students' critical thinking skills in economics class X IIS, and 3) to know alternative solutions using the Problem Based Learning (PBL) model to develop students' critical thinking skills in economics class X IIS. In the process, researchers used descriptive qualitative methods involving class X IIS at SMA Negeri 1 Rogojampi Banyuwangi. The data obtained are as follows. 1) problem analysis is carried out using the information search method by checking between opinions and facts, determining real ideas from their own thoughts related to payment systems and tools, both cash and non-cash. 2) Problem diagnosis is carried out in two stages, namely the assessment of the factors that cause the problem and the consequences that occur when there is a problem. 3) Determination of alternative solutions using the PBL model is done by analyzing payment systems and tools in real situations and constructing facts with opinions.

Abstract

This study analyzes the effect of profitability, Risk Based Capital (RBC), and Premium Growth Ratio on firm value in insurance subsector companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange for the period 2022-2024. Using a quantitative approach with associative methods. Data collection techniques using secondary data obtained from documentation and literature studies and IBM SPSS Version 30 software, as a tool for data analysis techniques. The population in this study is insurance subsector companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (BEI) for the period 2022-2024, with a total sample of 42 from the financial statements for 2022-2024 and using the perposive sampling method.  The results showed that profitability (ROE) had a significant effect on firm value, RBC also had a significant positive effect, while Premium Growth Ratio had no significant effect. Simultaneously, the three variables have a significant effect on the value of the Company.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the influence of financial behavior and risk perception on customers of Pegadaian in Sukabumi City. The population in this study consists of customers of the Cicil Emas programs (Mulia Ultimate and Emasku) and Gold Savings at Pegadaian Sukabumi City. The population includes all gold investment customers at Pegadaian Sukabumi. The sampling technique used in this study is the Slovin formula, and data were collected using a questionnaire. The sample size of this study is 225 respondents, and the data were analyzed using SPSS version 26. The results show that both financial behavior and risk perception have a significant positive influence on investment decisions. This is supported by the t-test results, which show that the calculated t-value is greater than the t-table value.

Abstract

Zakat digitalization is a form of technological adaptation in the Islamic financial system aimed at optimizing the collection and management of zakat in an efficient, transparent, and well-targeted manner. Despite the vast potential of zakat in Indonesia, actual collection remains low. Moreover, challenges such as distribution inequality and limited digital literacy persist in society. In response, BAZNAS Kota Malang has begun to adopt various digital platforms in its zakat services. This study aims to identify and analyze the effectiveness of zakat collection and management at BAZNAS Kota Malang, to examine the strategies used to increase youth participation through digital platforms, and to assess the conformity of digital zakat payment contracts with sharia principles. The research employs a qualitative approach with a case study method. Data were obtained through interviews, observation, and documentation. The findings indicate that zakat digitalization has improved the effectiveness of zakat collection and management by enhancing accessibility, transaction efficiency, and transparency. BAZNAS Kota Malang utilizes various digital channels such as an official website, e-wallets, QRIS, and collaborations with Islamic banks. However, challenges remain, particularly regarding the sharia compliance of digital contracts and uneven levels of digital literacy in the community. This study recommends ongoing education and the strengthening of sharia aspects in digital zakat services.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of career expectations, tuition fees, and interest on students' decisions in selecting the Economics Education Study Program at Jenderal Soedirman University. This research provides practical benefits for various parties. For researchers, it broadens their horizons and hones their scientific skills. For study programs, the results can provide input for development. For prospective and new students, this research helps them design a well-thought-out educational and career plan and strengthens their confidence in choosing a study program based on their interests, career expectations, and tuition fees. This study used a quantitative approach with 128 respondents from the 2023 and 2024 student intakes selected using cluster random sampling. The data analysis techniques used in this study included multiple linear regression analysis, the coefficient of determination, the F-test, and the t-test. The results indicate that career expectations, tuition fees, and interest positively influence study program selection decisions. These findings suggest that increasing the attractiveness of study programs can be achieved through active promotion on social media and official websites, as well as providing transparent information regarding tuition fees and scholarship opportunities to support prospective students' considerations.
