Abstract

Narcotics circulation has used a new modus operandi, namely utilizing online motorcycle taxi drivers as intermediaries for buying and selling narcotics to facilitate delivery and not be suspected by law enforcement officers so that the perpetrators avoid legal proceedings, the driver has a role in narcotics circulation so that the responsibility and punishment are attached to him. This study uses a normative juridical research type that is descriptive analysis, using secondary data obtained from library materials, primary, secondary and tertiary legal materials obtained and regulations, decisions and legal dictionaries, where the data is processed qualitatively by drawing conclusions deductively. Conclusion 1) In this case there is no mens rea or malicious intent of the defendant, in the absence of mens rea, the online motorcycle taxi driver cannot be held fully criminally responsible, mens rea is the main element to determine whether a person can be held accountable and there is no intention to violate the law. 2) Article 114 of the Narcotics Law does not require an element of intent so that there is no legal justice. In order to create a sense of justice, it is necessary to add an element of intent to the formulation of Article 114 of the Narcotics Law because this article does not require an element of intent. Keywords: Drug Distribution, Intermediary, Online Motorcycle Taxi Driver.

Abstract

The healthiest diet for babies to promote healthy growth and development is breast milk (ASI), according to the Ministry of Health (2025).  Babies receive the most comprehensive nourishment from breast milk.  Breastfeeding exclusively is consuming just breast milk for six months, with the exception of vitamins, minerals, and prescription drugs.  Fifty percent of women worldwide are exclusively nursing.  82.3% of Kalibagor's population exclusively breastfeeds (Banyumas Health Office Profile, 2024).  Exclusive breastfeeding is frequently associated with nipple pain, breast engorgement, mastitis, and breast abscesses.  To increase the success rate of exclusive breastfeeding coverage, therefore, measures must be taken to overcome breastfeeding obstacles, such as oxytocin massage. Breast milk release may be improved by oxytocin massage.  Raising pregnant women's awareness of oxytocin massage has the potential to improve social conduct.  This study aims to determine the relationship between oxytocin massage knowledge and personal characteristics.  Thirty pregnant women who were enrolled in a prenatal class at the Kaliori Community Health Center in Kalibagor made up the study sample.  Total sampling was the method of sample that was employed.  The concept of oxytocin massage, its advantages, efficacy, timing, factors influencing the release of the oxytocin hormone, factors impacting the success of oxytocin massage, and the processes involved in the massage were all covered in the oxytocin massage knowledge quiz.  According to the chi-square test results, the p-value was less than 0.05. Individual characteristics such as age, occupation, education, and parity were significantly associated with pregnant women's knowledge of oxytocin massage (0.001; 0.000; 0.004; 0.000).Keywords: Age, education, parity, knowledge, oxytocin massage

Abstract

The thesis aims to assess criminal law policies in the completion of unlicensed drilling of oil in musi banyuasin district which is a growing problem in the region, which not only affects economic and environmental damage, but also creates a major challenge to law enforcement. The problem raised is a criminal law policy in settling illegal oil drilling crimes in musi banyuasin district in ruling number: 225/ Pid. B/2020/PN Pkb; Rule number: 295/ Pid. SUS /2020/PN Bgl; Rule number: 326/Pid.B/LH/2024/PN Plg according to migas and non-panel policy against illegal oil drilling charges in musi district in the future. The study uses normalizing juridical juridical approaches and collects data in qualitative ways that discuss current law laws, law enforcement practices, and the challenges fac\ed in solving illegal cases. The main focus of the study is criminal law policies adopted by law enforcement officials and suggested more optimal measures to prevent and address these crimes. Studies have shown that while regulations governing illegal activity, the implementation of the law in the field still faces serious obstacles, in terms of coordination between institutions, human resources, and the legal consciousness of society. Hence, the study requires increased capacity on law enforcement officers, improved cooperation between related agencies, and public education to implement non-penal policies on unauthorized drilling of oil in musi banyuasin counties. Keywords: Illegal Drilling, Non Penal, Musi Banyuasin.

Abstract

This study focuses on a comprehensive exploration of the impact of emotional intelligence on nurses’ performance, with service quality functioning as a mediating variable at the Regional General Hospital (RSUD) Haji. The background of this research is grounded in the critical role of nurses as the frontline providers in medical services, where emotional elements and interpersonal relationships significantly influence both the quality of care and work effectiveness. Emotional intelligence in this study is examined through five core dimensions: self-awareness, self-regulation, motivation, empathy, and social skills. A quantitative approach was employed using a cross-sectional design. Data were collected through the distribution of closed-ended questionnaires using a Likert scale to 143 nurses working at RSUD Haji. The research instruments underwent validation and reliability testing prior to deployment. Data analysis was conducted using path analysis to explore both direct and indirect relationships among variables, and to understand the mediating role of service quality in the relationship between emotional intelligence and nurses’ performance. The findings reveal that the dimensions of self-regulation and social skills have a significant impact on service quality. Furthermore, social skills also exert a direct influence on nurses’ performance. Service quality clearly serves as a significant mediator in the relationship between emotional intelligence and performance, particularly in the dimensions of self-regulation and social skills. These results suggest that enhancing emotional intelligence—especially in terms of self-control and social interaction—can contribute to improved service delivery by nurses, thereby positively affecting their overall performance. This study offers both theoretical and practical contributions to the development of human resources in the healthcare sector and serves as a reference for hospital management in designing training programs and interventions focused on strengthening the emotional intelligence of healthcare professionals. Keywords: emotional intelligence, service quality and nurse performance

Abstract

This article discusses the response of the K-Pop fan community to the phenomenon of collaboration between Starbucks and NCT. This collaboration has sparked significant controversies. In recent years, major companies such as Starbucks have faced considerable challenges due to social and cultural dynamics within the realm of social media. One case that has drawn attention is how K-Pop fans can shape public opinion on a large scale regarding the Starbucks brand through social media platform X. This article further examines the patterns of digital activism in the boycott actions carried out by K-Pop fans in response to the Starbucks and NCT collaboration. The study also explores audience analysis regarding K-Pop fans' perceptions of NCT as a result of the collaboration, which triggered public tension. For its research method, this study employs netnography, through which communities can construct and express themselves within digital spaces. Sample posts relevant to the topic were identified through posts on X (Twitter) and analyzed in depth. The results of this study show that criticism from K-Pop fans played a role in restoring Starbucks’ reputation. Keywords: Starbucks, K-Pop fans, Social Media, Brand Response, Reputation Management

Abstract

High density lipoprotein (HDL) cholesterol is one of the lipoprotein components that plays an important role in transporting cholesterol from tissues to the liver. HDL cholesterol levels are measured using serum obtained from blood after the clotting process. Clotting times that do not follow the procedure can affect serum quality and the accuracy of test results. This study aims to determine the differences in HDL cholesterol levels based on variations in blood clotting time before centrifugation. This study is an experimental study with three treatments, namely blood clotting for 5 minutes, 10 minutes, and 15 minutes before centrifugation. Normality was tested using Shapiro-Wilk, while differences between groups were tested using the paired sample t-test with the help of SPSS software. The average HDL cholesterol level in blood frozen for 15 minutes was 35.88 mg/dL, for 10 minutes was 31.00 mg/dL, and for 5 minutes was 29.00 mg/dL. The statistical test results showed a significant difference between 15 minutes and 10 minutes of freezing (p = 0.000) and between 15 minutes and 5 minutes of freezing (p = 0.000). Variations in blood clotting time significantly affect HDL cholesterol levels. A clotting time of 15 minutes before centrifugation produces more optimal HDL levels and is in line with standard procedures. Keywords : HDL cholesterol, clotting time, blood serum

Abstract

Higher education serves as a fundamental pillar in developing competitive, ethical, and high-quality human resources. In accordance with Law No. 12 of 2012 on Higher Education, the Indonesian government is obligated to expand access and learning opportunities for all citizens. One of the strategic initiatives to achieve this goal is the Smart Indonesia Card for College (Kartu Indonesia Pintar – KIP Kuliah) program, which provides educational assistance to outstanding students from low-income families, enabling them to pursue higher education without financial burden. This study aims to analyze the recruitment model of KIP Kuliah scholarship recipients at the Islamic University of Jember and to evaluate its effectiveness based on the official guidelines of the Ministry of Education, Culture, Research, and Technology. This research employs a qualitative approach with a case study design. Data were collected through in-depth interviews, observations, and document analysis involving scholarship administrators, academic advisors, and student beneficiaries. Data were analyzed using the Miles, Huberman, and Saldaña interactive model, consisting of data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing. The findings reveal that the recruitment process for KIP Kuliah recipients at the Islamic University of Jember has been systematically implemented in accordance with national guidelines. The selection stages include administrative screening, academic potential tests, interviews, and additional assessments on Ahlussunnah wal Jama’ah theological understanding and Qur’an reading ability—reflecting the Islamic values embedded in the university’s character education. The program has effectively enhanced access to higher education, fostered learning motivation, and promoted upward social mobility among students from economically disadvantaged backgrounds. Nevertheless, several challenges remain, such as mismatches between socioeconomic data and the Integrated Social Welfare Data (DTKS), limited digital literacy, and administrative complexity. Therefore, capacity building for program implementers, the development of data-driven selection systems, and continuous evaluation are crucial to ensure that the KIP Kuliah program becomes more transparent, accountable, and effectively targeted. Keywords: Recruitment, Smart Indonesia Card (KIP Kuliah), Higher Education, Education Policy, Equity in Access.

Abstract

Poisson regression analysis is a nonlinear regression that is usually used for discrete data and assumes equidispersion. In practice, there is often a violation of assumptions equidispersion, one of the violations is overdispersion (the variance is greater than the average value). One of the causes of overdispersion is the excessive number of zero values (Excess Zero) on the response variable. Excess zeros can be seen in the proportion of response variables which is zero greater than any other discrete data. There are many methods to overcome overdispersion: Zero Inflated Poisson (ZIP) regression and Zero Inflated regression Negative Binomial (ZINB). The purpose of this study is to determine the regression model which is better used on data that experience overdispersion. Data used to analyze ZIP and ZINB regression is the data of infant death in West Java Province in 2021. Based on the study’s result, it is known that the Akaike Information Criterion (AIC) value in the ZINB regression is smaller than the ZINB regression AIC value. So the ZINB regression is better used as well as the factor of infant death. Keywords: Overdispersion; Poisson Regression; ZIP; ZINB; Infant Death

Abstract

The roof is the part of a building that functions as a cover for the entire room below. The roof is also a crown which has the function of adding beauty and protecting the building from heat and rain. As protection from rainwater, the roof installation must be able to accommodate the diversion of the volume of rainwater that falls on it, through a gutter system.Seepage and rusting that occurs in the gutter system of the Bisnin Center UNUKASE building is interesting to find out the causes and alternative needs for. It was found that there was a large difference between the rain discharge hitting the roof of 400 liters/minute and the predicted maximum rain intensity, while the available gutter capacity was only 27 liters per minute.
