Abstract

Objek wisata Taman Satwa Taru Jurug (TSTJ) merupakan salah satu tempat wisata dengan konsep wisata alam yang menjadi salah satu objek wisata andalan di Kota Surakarta. Sebagai penyumbang PAD terbesar dari sector pariwisata, Taman Satwa Taru Jurug mempunyai banyak persoalan. Jumlah pengunjung TSTJ dari tahun 2003 mengalami penurunan. Kondisi fisik dan fasilitas yang tidak terawatt merupakan salah satu penyebab menurunnya jumlah wisatawan. Oleh karena itu penting kiranya melakukan PPM yang mengangkat citra TSTJ menjadi taman wisata yang bersih, yaitu dengan membuat mural di tempat-tempat yang terbengkalai agar tidak terkesan kumuh.Studi pendahuluan dalam PPM ini dilakukan dengan cara pengumpulan data melalui observasi lapangan, studi pustaka/ dokumen dan wawancara kepada pihak terkait. Setelah data terkumpul kemudian di analisis menggunakan metode SWOT.Hasil dari analisis tersebut yang menjadi dasar program kegiatan dalam PPM ini, yaitu mural sebagai media branding Taman Satwa Taru Jurug”. Kata kunci: TSTJ, SWOT, Mural

Abstract

ABSTRAKBerbagai fenomena maritim Indonesia akhir-akhir ini cukup menarik perhatian untuk dibicarakan, hingga diangkat menjadi tema penciptaan karya seni lukis. Hal-hal tentang kemerosotan dunia maritim Indonesia sebenarnya harus menjadi kegelisahan bersama bangsa ini. Berangkat dari pemikiran tersebut, diciptakanlah karya-karya seni lukis dengan tema Fenomena Maritim Indonesia, dengan harapan bahwa pewacanaan persoalan kemaritiman Indonesia dewasa ini dengan media seni lukis  dapat menjadi salah satu bentuk peran serta dalam pencarian solusi masah terkait. Wujud media wacana seni lukis ini dikemas dengan menggunakan kaidah-kaidah penciptaan karya seni lukis pada umumnya yang dieksplorasi dengan karakter dan teknik pribadi.Kata kunci: maritim, Indonesia, seni lukis ABSTRACTVarious maritime phenomena of Indonesia lately enough to attract attention to be discussed, until it was appointed as the theme of the creation of painting. Abstract

ABSTRAKStudi penciptaan, lampion rotan Loro blonyo sebagai elemen estetik interior ini merupakan penelitian terapan. Peneltian ini dilakukan berdasarkan pada perkembangan aplikasi lampion dan patung loro blonyo yang telah berubah fungsi dari sakral menjadi profan. Lampion dan Patung Loro Blonyo yang pada awalnya digunakan sebagai elemen ritual telah terkomodifikasi menjadi benda bernilai estetis dan ekonomis.Pemilihan materi rotan sebagai medium pembuat lampion dipilih dalam penelitian ini karena karakter lampion yang sangat luwis sehingga mudah dalam proses pembentukkannya, sedangkan pemilihan patung loro blonyo karena salah satu produk budaya Jawa yang sampai sekarang masih dikenal masyarakat.Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah riset etik dan emik yang menjadi dasar penbuatan produk lampion rotan loro blonyo.Luaran studi penciptaan ini direncanakan dalam bentuk artikel untuk jurnal ilmiah dan prototype lampion rotan loro blonyo dan akan dipamerkan ke public sebagai bentuk pertanggung jawaban atas hasil penelitian yang telah dilakukan. Kata kunci: lampion, rotan, loro blonyo, elemen interior.  ABSTRACTStudies creation, wicker lanterns Loroblonyo as interior aesthetic element is an applied research. This study is based on the development of applications Loroblonyo lanterns and sculptures that have changed the function of the sacred into the profane. Lanterns and sculpture Loroblonyo that was originally used as a ritual element has been commodified into valuable objects aesthetically and economically.Selection of rattan material as medium lantern maker chosen in this study because of the character of the lanterns very luwis so easy in the process pembentukkannya, while the statue Loroblonyo election for one of the products of Javanese culture, which is still known to the public.The method used is research ethics and EMIC the basis penbuatan lanterns rattan products Loroblonyo.Outcome studies of this creation is planned in the form of articles for scientific journals and wicker lanterns Loroblonyo prototype and will be exhibited to the public as a form of accountability for the results of research that has been done. Keywords: lantern, rattan, Loroblonyo interior elements.

Abstract

ABSTRAK Laporan penciptaan yang disusun dengan judul “Perilaku Buruk Manusia Dalam Hal Kemunafikan Sebagai Ide Penciptaan Karya Seni Lukis” ini dilatar belakangi oleh permasalahan-permasalahan yang kaitannya dengan segala bentuk atau representasi perilaku munafik manusia dalam kehidupan sosial yang terjadi di Negeri ini, maupun di belahan Bumi yang lain. Tujuan dari laporan penciptaan ini adalah memahami dan mendalami tentang tema kemudian memvisualisasikan tentang ide dasar dan menciptakan metafor dalam karya seni lukis terkait dengan judul yang diangkat.Untuk mewujudkan ide tersebut secara deskripsi diawali dari latar belakang karya, pembicaraan rujukan, tujuan dan manfaat, gagasan, garapan, bentuk karya, dan media. Selanjutnya dilakukan metode proses penciptaan karyanya dengan menggunakan tahapan-tahapan di antaranya adalah: pra penciptaan, teknik yang digunakan, dan penciptaan. Hasil dari studi penciptaan seni lukis ini adalah karya seni lukis yang mampu merepresentasikan kemunafikan manusia. Kata kunci: seni lukis, manusia, munafik.    ABSTRACT The creation report that was written under the title of "Bad Man Behavior in Hypocrisy as the Idea of Creation of Paintings" is based on problems related to all forms or representations of hypocrisy of human behavior in social life occurring in this country or in the hemisphere another. The purpose of this creation report is to understand and explore the theme then to visualize the basic idea and to create a metaphor in painting related to the title that is raised. To realize the idea in description begins from the background of the work, referral talks, goals and benefits, ideas, arable, forms of work, and the media. Furthermore, the method of creating the process of his work by using the stages of which are: pre-creation, techniques used, and creation. The result of the study of the creation of painting is a work of art that can represent the hypocrisy of humans.Keywords: painting, human, hypocrite.

Abstract

ABSTRAK Saya mengalami kegelisahan terkait dengan cita-cita hidup bahagia saat ini. Hal tersebut menjadi kekhawatiran saya secara pribadi untuk lebih semangat dalam merancang kehidupan bahagia di masa yang akan datang. Oleh sebab itu cita-cita hidup bahagia menjadi dorongan terbesar dalam proses penciptaan karya ini. Berdasarkan  beberapa definisi terkait dengan judul, saya menyimpulkan bahwa sebuah cita-cita merupakan keinginan fantasi, tentang harapan dan tujuan yang selalu ada dalam pikiran, berasal dari dalam diri sendiri maupun itu pengaruh lingkungan sekitar, yang ingin dicapai. Sesuatu yang diimpikan, dibayangkan, didesain berisi arahan tentang apa yang harus dikerjakan dan merupakan kunci dalam mencapai kebahagiaan dalam kesempurnaan.Tujuan studi penciptaan ini adalah merepresentasikan tentang fantasi cita-cita hidup bahagia yang saya inginkan kelak ke dalam bahasa metafor visual pada seni lukis. Manfaat yang diharapkan, melalui seni lukis yang saya ciptakan, bisa dipahami pesan moral yang ingin disampaikan kepada orang lain yang mengamatinya. Bentuk sebagai metafor visual dalam studi penciptaan seni lukis ini yaitu bentuk yang bernuansa  imajinatif, naratif, dan simbolis.  Berupa kehidupan figur-figur imaginatif manusia, boneka dengan gaya personal, binatang dan tetumbuhan, rumah dan awan-awan, sehingga secara satu-kesatuan karya ciptaan bernuansa imajinatif, naratif dan simbolis. Kata kunci: seni lukis, cita-cita    ABSTRACT I am experiencing anxiety associated with the ideals of a happy life today. It becomes my personal concern for more zeal in designing a happy life in the future. Therefore the ideals of a happy life become the biggest impetus in the process of creating this work. Based on several definitions related to the title, I conclude that a goal is a fantasy desire, about the hopes and goals that are always present in the mind, coming from within itself as well as the influence of the surrounding environment, to be achieved. Something dreamed, imagined, designed to contain direction about what to do and is the key to achieving happiness in perfection.The purpose of this study of creation is to represent the fantasy ideals of the happy life I want later into the visual metaphor language of painting. The expected benefits, through the art of painting that I created, can be understood moral messages to be conveyed to others who observe it. The form as a visual metaphor in the study of the creation of painting is a form that nuanced imaginative, narrative, and symbolic. It is the life of human imaginative figures, dolls with personal styles, animals and plants, homes and clouds, so that one-piece unity of creation is imaginative, narrative and symbolic. Keywords: painting, ideals

Abstract

ABSTRACTThe aim of the article entitled Seni Rupa “Biasa-Biasa Saja” Karya Herman “Beng” Handoko", is to understand creative and interpret the work of art aesthetics from Herman" Beng "Handoko or often called Beng Herman. This article is the result of qualitative research using Deteritorial theory Gilles Deleuze to understand Beng Herman's creative process. To understand the aesthetics of Beng Herman's work using the aesthetics of Clive Bell, inform art as a personal experience that presents a form of significance. Findings from this research are: (1) Beng Herman's art is present from a routine of feeling and thinking that frees himself from the boundaries outside himself so that his work is present from pure feelings from within him, (2) through liberation makes routine art activities become "mediocre" activities which are all responded to become a desire to produce aesthetic work, a depth of individual processes that display honesty without judgment on other individuals and (3) the aesthetics of Beng Herman's work is present from the unity of the line, fields that are coordinated freely, which sometimes appear repetitive by displaying dynamic rhythms. An ordinary thing that becomes extraordinary when something becomes a deep personal experience and presents diverse possibilities and meanings according to each individual's aesthetic experience. Keywords: Art, creative, Aesthetics, Beng Herman

Abstract

This article is the result of research that discusses the Sarang Tarung community art activities. The focus of the problem under study is the meaning that encourages the Sarang Tarung community to perform art activities, also discusses the background of the community's establishment, and how their activities are. The research method used is ethnography with taxonomic analysis. Symbolic interactionism theory (Herbert Blumer) is used as a scalpel. Sarang Tarung seen through symbolic interactionism is a series of processes of formation of meaning that underlie them to carry out artistic activities. Through symbolic interactionism, it can be seen that the meaning of art activities for the Sarang Tarung community is a form of caring, and it can be seen that the Sarang Tarung community does not fully understand popular art, they are also part of young people who consume popular art trends. They assume that popular art is a form of solidarity that is capable of giving changes to the welfare of the lower classes. This assumption encourages them to carry out artistic activities and not just become passive consumers. Keywords: Art Activity, Symbolic Interactionism, Sarang Tarung Community, Meaning.

Abstract

The study entitled "Characteristics Of Soegeng Toekio's Paintings". The focus of this research is to find the character of Soegeng Toekio’s paintings in order to know the weaknesses and shortcomings Soegeng Toekio’s works together. The first step taken is collecting data from all three sources of information required by the holistic art criticism, namely, the creation of works Soegeng Toekio’s backgrounds as genetic information, Soegeng Toekio’s paintings as objective information and gazerer comments as affective information. Once the source of the data collected and analyzed using analysis of interaction (the Information sources of genetic and affective) and interpretive analysis of sources of objective information. After all the data is analyzed and then synthesized and conclusions drawn with regard to the characteristics of Soegeng Toekio’s painting.Results from this study is the character of Soegeng Toekio’s painting are illustrative figurative decorative style, the paintings with decorative styles, with strength in typical comical figure with forms like wayang beber. Abstract

This article discusses the paintings by Wiryono in the 2006-2012 period which are unique in terms of techniques, shapes, fantasies, metaphors, and aesthetics that are displayed in the works. The type of research used is qualitative research using a phenomenological approach that obtains data through direct observation in the field, interviews, literature reviews and other visual data.
