Abstract

There are many ways to raise office employee quality. Innovating desk chair facilities to meet the demands of working methods is one of the things that can be pursued. It has been established that the working style of the employees—the majority of whom are young people—requires a productive and exciting work environment to increase the quality of work. Various approaches have been investigated to achieve the design planning of office work facilities, from recommending the design of desk chair facilities following furniture ergonomics to establishing layouts in rooms that match the characteristics of the office atmosphere. Unfortunately, interior designers frequently overlook something equally important to consider, namely the requirement that the design of seating areas related to the desks and chairs used by office workers in daily activities be adjusted to the office branding characteristics and the psychological state of the workers in the space. This study aims to give relevant parties suggestions for appropriate working desks and seating areas to carry out activities using modular furniture. A descriptive qualitative research methodology is employed. Redpot Indonesia, an integrated promotional marketing firm that offers innovative promotional products and design services, is where the research is being conducted. This study aims to develop workspaces and workstations that accommodate employees' desires for social interaction and cooperative learning while facilitating productive work environments. Literature reviews, observational studies, and interviews are the data-collecting methods employed.

Abstract

The angkringan business is spreading rapidly in big cities throughout Indonesia with a strong characteristic with a Javanese atmosphere, cheap food and an intimate atmosphere. Another characteristic of angkringan is the mobility and territoriality of the traders, which is not very visible in angkringan on Jalan Tukad Barito Denpasar. An angkringan that uses a shop parking area that is closed at night is studied based on interior design components such as floors, walls and ceilings. Qualitative descriptive research method with observation of phenomena that occur accompanied by interviews and photo documentation. Observations were mapped using a place centered map which were grouped based on existing functions in the form of food counters, kitchens, dining areas for visitors and live music areas. Other findings are the cart design which still maintained, the goods storage system, the phenomenon of full shop rentals and the importance of live music in angkringan.

Abstract

The interior design of a coworking space with a rattan theme in Trangsan Sukoharjo Village functions as a means of renting workspaces that are used jointly and openly with other users with flexible time usage. This design aims to create an interior design for a coworking space in Sukoharjo that can meet the needs of activities that are safe, comfortable and create a productive atmosphere. This design adopted several stages of the design process proposed by Kurtz. Kurtz's model of programming is programming on the qualitative rather than quantitative side. The basis of the design used is the function, ergonomics, technical, color, theme and style approaches. This design adopts a Bohemian design style with a rattan theme as the design base. The rattan theme gives a natural impression of the use of rattan characteristics applied to interior elements in the form of furniture, partitions and so on.

Abstract

The interior design of AGHE Coffee & Resto, with a Green Design theme through the exploration of sensory experiences of the five senses, aims to create a unique design for AGHE Coffee & Resto that offers a distinctive experience to visitors through various stimuli received by the senses. The approach adopted in this design encompasses the themes of green design and industrial style as functional and ergonomic considerations. The design methodology employs Kurtz's programming method of orientation, base program, iterative programming, and design as feedback. The outcome is an interior design for AGHE Coffee & Resto that provides a novel sensation to space users through various stimuli the five senses receive. The scope of this design covers areas including the lobby and bar, guest waiting area, dining and drinking space, food storage area, employee space, kitchen, office, restroom, and prayer room. A distinctive advantage of this design is its focus on senses other than vision, which often gets sidelined in interior design projects.
