Abstract

This research is motivated by the lack of milk production and the production is slow, so that the mother cannot give enough milk to her baby. The cause of insufficient and slow breastfeeding is due to the presence of the hormone prolactin and the lactation process also depends on oxytocin. Massage rolling (back) is a relaxation therapy that aims to stimulate the central nervous system so that it can increase milk production, especially for post-partum mothers and can provide comfort and relaxation to the mother after childbirth. The rolling massage action (back) can affect the hormone prolactin, which acts as a stimulus for milk production in the mother during breastfeeding. There is also the aim of the results of this study that therapy or rolling massage (back) massage in post partum mothers can increase milk production. This research uses a quantitative approach, the method used in this research is quasi experimental. The type of design in this study was in the form of a non equivalent design (pretest and posttest). The sampling technique used was accidental sampling. The population in this study were post partum mothers at the Pratama Deliana Clinic Pekanbaru who experienced unsanitary breastfeeding. The results showed that the rolling massage method (back) was effective for increasing milk production in postpartum mothers with a p-value of 0.001 (<0.05). It is hoped that the need for socialization about rolling massage to mothers since pregnancy, both in the class of pregnant women or during pregnancy visit counseling. Socialization can also be in the form of leaflets or banners about rolling massage.

Abstract

The incidence of primary dysmenorrhea can affect the quality of life, productivity and utilization of health services during the reproductive period of women. The incidence of primary dysmenorrhea also interferes with the daily activities of some adolescents because of the pain they feel (Sakinah, 2016). Cramps due to strong menstruation can cause endometriosis (growth of uterine tissue outside the uterus that causes pain), complaints of dysmenorrhea should always be taken seriously and efforts must be made to reduce its incidence (Corwin, 2009). One of the government's efforts to address adolescent problems is the establishment of the Youth Care Health Service Program (PKPR) (Depkes, 2009). As for the variables which are risk factors for menarche, exercise habits, menstrual length and family history.

Abstract

Pregnancy is a normal, natural process that begins with the growth and development of an intrauterine fetus and starts from conception to delivery. (Dewi, 2011). Hemodilution occurs from 10 weeks of gestation and peaks at 32-36 weeks of gestation. If the hemoglobin is before about 11 g%, the occurrence of hemodilution will result in physiological anemia and Hb will be 9.5 to 10 g%. Based on the report of the Pekanbaru City Health Office (2012), the number of pregnant women suffering from mild-moderate anemia in Pekanbaru City in 2011 was 1105 people and in 2012 there were 703 people. This research aims to determine the effectiveness of giving guava in increasing HB levels in pregnant women with anemia at PMB Dince Safrina Pekanbaru. This type of research is quasi experimental (quasi-experimental) with a one group pretest posttest approach. Sampling in this study using non random sampling technique with purposive sampling. The population in this study were all anemia pregnant women at PMB Dince Syafrina in November 2020. The analyzes used were univariate and bivariate. The results showed that there was an effect of giving Fe tablet and guava juice therapy to the increase in Hb levels of anemia in pregnant women. It is hoped that the special medical personnel for the Independent Practice of Midwife Dince Syafrina, SST, can formulate ways to treat anemia in pregnant women, namely not only providing therapy with iron tablets, but can combine it with 100 gr of guava per day and consumed 2 times a day. Abstract

Hormonal changes, weight gain and changes in body posture are some of the factors that cause back pain that often occurs during pregnancy (Mufdlilah, 2009). In the process of pregnancy, complaints always arise, one of which is very disturbing is the problem of back pain during pregnancy. Back pain during pregnancy is usually experienced by women at certain times during pregnancy, usually in the third trimester of pregnancy. Back pain is common in pregnancy with the reported incidence varying from approximately 50% in the UK and Scandinavia to close to 70% in Australia. The research objective of this study was to determine how relaxation massage affects sleep quality in pregnant women. The research method isThe type of research conducted is quasi-experimental (quasi-experimental) which is a research plan that is structured in such a way that it can lead researchers to obtain answers to researchers (Notoatmodjo 2010). The results of the study obtained a p value = 0.000 so that H0 was rejected, it was concluded that there was an effect of relaxation massage on the quality of sleep for pregnant women (p <0.000), so it could be concluded that there was an effect of relaxation massage given to pregnant women on the quality of sleep of mothers. It is hoped that further research will be able to examine different variables so that they can find out how to improve sleep quality for pregnant women

Abstract

Pregnancy exercise is one of the recommended sports for pregnant women to do because it aims to prepare a pregnant woman mentally and physically. Disorders during pregnancy that usually occur are poor sleep quality, high levels of maternal anxiety, low back pain, increased urinary frequency and leg cramps. Anxiety experienced by pregnant women is about pregnancy, childbirth, and its role as a mother. Pregnant women will also transmit their emotional physical effects to the fetus. If the anxiety increases, it will affect the fetus. The purpose of this study was to determine the effectiveness of pregnancy exercise on the level of anxiety in pregnant women. This type of research is Quasi experimental. The population in this study were pregnant women at the Pratama Deliana Clinic Pekanbaru. The results showed that pregnancy exercise was effective in reducing anxiety levels in pregnant women with a p-value of 0.002 (<0.05). It can be concluded that there is a significant difference in the level of anxiety of pregnant women between before doing pregnancy exercise and after doing pregnancy exercise in pregnant women. It is recommended that the clinic be able to carry out promotions about pregnancy exercise through banners, leaflets, banners and WA class groups for pregnant women.

Abstract

Stunting (dwarfism) is a condition in which toddlers have less length or height compared to age, chronic nutritional problems caused by insufficient nutritional intake for a long time. The stunting limitation is height for age based on the Z-score equal to or less than -2 SD below the standard mean. The prevalence of stunting under five has increased from 2016, namely 27.5% to 29.6% in 2017, the incidence of stunting in Riau province in 2019 reached 10.9%. The purpose of this study was to describe the knowledge of mothers about stunting in children under five at the Pratama Arrabih clinic, Pekanbaru. This research is a descriptive quantitative study using a cross sectional research design. The research was conducted at the Pratama Arrabih clinic from 27 November to 8 December 2020. The population in this study were all mothers who had babies and toddlers and visited the Arrabih Pekanbaru clinic in 2020.. Based on the results of the research that has been done, it was found that of the 30 respondents, most of them 43.3% (13 people) had less knowledge about stunting. The conclusion of this study is that the knowledge of mothers about stunting in toddlers is still lacking. It is hoped that all health workers will assist the government in expanding the coverage of education about stunting so that the public knows about stunting and for further researchers to be able to conduct research with different methods, variables, different sampling techniques and further investigate what factors affect knowledge. mom about stunting

Abstract

Labor occurs when a combination of maternal and fetal factors increases the response to uterine stimulation, precipitating smooth muscle contractions. A perineal tear is a tear that occurs in the perineum during labor and occurs in nearly all first deliveries and not infrequently with subsequent deliveries. Perineal tears are caused by maternal factors (parity, birth spacing and infant weight), incorrect delivery leadership, history of labor, vacuum extraction, device trauma and episiotomy. Perineal rupture needs attention because it can cause dysfunction of the female reproductive organs, as a source of bleeding and a source of entry of infection which can then lead to death due to bleeding or sepsis. The research was conducted in the control and intervention groups and was carried out at the Rahmadina Rosa Independent Midwife Practice. The design in this study was a quasi-experimental study with a post-test method with a control group (postest only control group design). The population in this study were all Primigravida mothers with a gestational age of 36 weeks. The sampling technique was simple random sampling with a sample size of 18 respondents. Data were analyzed univariate and bivariate using the Chi-Square test. Abstract

Fulfillment of the nutritional needs of infants 0-6 months is absolutely obtained through breast milk (ASI) for infants with exclusive breastfeeding. Based on this, efforts to improve nutrition for infants 0-6 months are carried out through improving maternal nutrition before and during exclusive breastfeeding. However, exclusive breastfeeding always fails this is caused by less milk production. One of the plants that can increase breast milk production is Moringa leaves. Moringa leaves contain laktogogum which can stimulate the hormones oxytocin and prolactin. This study aims to determine the effect of Moringa Leaves (Moringa Oleifera) on breast milk production in post partum mothers in Nelly's Independent Midwife Practice (PMB) Working Area of ??Tapung II Public Health Center, Kec. Tapung. The study was conducted from January to April 2021 by giving Moringa leaves to post partum mothers. This type of research is pre experimental with one group pretest posttest designs. The number of samples in this study was 13 post partum mothers with total sampling technique. Statistical test Paired sample T-test obtained p value of 0.000. The results of statistical tests showed that before being given Moringa leaf steeping the mean value was 32.15 times and there was an increase in breast milk production after being given Moringa leaf steeping, the mean value was 71.23 times. So it can be concluded that there is an effect of Moringa leaves on breast milk production in post partum mothers with a mean difference of 39.08. It is hoped that Moringa leaves can be an alternative physiological therapy to increase breast milk production in postpartum mothers.
