Abstract

Breast milk (ASI) is not smooth or slightly thickened due to several variables, one of which is nursing and the awareness of the mother. The fewer frequently you breastfeed, the less milk you'll produce. The hormones prolactin and oxytocin aid in the production of breast milk. The less you breastfeed, the less milk you'll produce. As a result, many young mothers are concerned and fearful due to insufficient milk production. Greater secretion and production of breast milk stimulates protoplasmic activity in mammary gland secretory cells and secretory nerve endings, which results in increased milk secretion and is aided by the mechanism of action of laktagogums, or stimulates the lactagonist hormone prolactin. Lactation will be stimulated by mammary glands on alveolar epithelial cells. One of the attempts made in the problem of poor milk production is the use of galactagogum chemicals obtained from plants. Lactagogum (lactagogue) is one of the methods for increasing secretion and milk production. The goal of this study was to see how effective it was to boost breast milk production by giving people torbangun leaf soup. The study employed a one-group pretest-posttest design. This study took place in the Dince Safrina Pratama Clinic in Pekanbaru City from August 31 to October 7, 2020. The study's findings revealed that the p value for H0 was 0.008, indicating that H0 was rejected, and it was determined that Torbangun Leaf soup helped increase milk production in nursing women.

Abstract

Pregnancy is a critical period in the life of a woman. A period in which changes occur in all body systems, including cardiovascular, respiratory, hormonal, gastrointestinal, and musculoskeletal systems. Pregnant women during pregnancy experience physical and psychological changes that can cause discomfort starting from the first to third trimesters, one of which is sleep disturbances. Sleep disturbances in third trimester pregnant women are caused bydiscomfort, growing stomach, back pain, frequent urination, fetal movement, fatigue, leg cramps, difficulty initiating sleep, and physiological changes. Sleep disturbances result in decreased sleep quality. Pregnancy exercise is an alternative that can break the cycle of anxiety and increase the comfort of pregnant women while sleeping or to reduce the complaints of pregnant women which result in a decrease in the duration of sleep for pregnant women. The purpose of this study was to determine the effectiveness of pregnancy exercise on sleep quality in third trimester pregnant women. The type of research carried out is a quasi-experimental which was carried out on 03-24 September 2020 which was carried out at the Arrabih Pratama Clinic, Pekanbaru City. The population and samples used were all pregnant women who visited in September 2020. The results obtained p value = 0.000, so it was concluded that there was an effect of pregnancy exercise on the sleep quality of third trimester pregnant women (p <0.000). It is hoped that the next research will be able to carry out different interventions to overcome discomfort in pregnant women.

Abstract

Nutrition is very influential on the gross motor development of children. Good nutritional status can help the process of growth and development of children to reach optimal maturity. The impact of more nutritional status will cause excessive weight problems. As a result, the child has an excessive burden, of course it will interfere with motor skills because in carrying out motion there is no balance between the body and the center of gravity and also requires a lot of energy. The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between nutritional status and gross motor development in toddlers at the Keluk Pakis Posyandu, Pekanbaru City in 2021. This study used a quantitative research type, with an analytical design. And using a cross sectional approach. The number of samples studied were 15 children. The measuring instrument used is a checklist table adapted from several related literatures. The results showed that there was a significant relationship between nutritional status and gross motoric development of toddlers, where X2 Count > X2 Table ie 4.17 > 2.706 so Ha was accepted and Ho was rejected. It is hoped that the Puskesmas, especially posyandu cadres, will continue to carry out preventive efforts such as providing information in the form of counseling to the community to prevent children from experiencing malnutrition (stunting), increasing awareness of parents of toddlers about nutritional status and gross motor development by paying more attention to development and nutritional status so that the number of children under five is expected to increase. Those who experience poor nutritional status or whose gross motor development fails can be reduced, providing stimulation to children for the surrounding environment, especially parents so that children can be stimulated by ideas in the hope of improving the gross motor development of children who are late.

Abstract

Temper tantrums are emotional outbursts of extreme anger and frustration, which lose control in young children that are manifested by behaviors that are unpleasant and inappropriate for the situation, such as crying, screaming and self-harm. One of the factors that influence it is the factor of parents. Working parents are suspected of having an influence on parenting, communication and child development. The lack of a mother's role in meeting the basic needs of children certainly has an unfavorable impact on the development of the child itself. If the mother's role is not successful, the child will experience growth disorders and the tendency of today's mothers to choose to return to work after having children is not just because they are happy. Given the magnitude of the problems faced by children in their growth and development, the role of a mother is to provide more optimal attention, guidance, and supervision to her children. The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between the mother's work status and the behavior of temper tantrums in children. This research is quantitative with analytical design using Cross Sectional. Held on March – April 2019 in the work area of the Payung Sekaki Public Health Center in 2019 The results of the statistical test of the relationship between mother's work status and temper tantrum behavior in children in the work area of the Umbrella Sekaki Public Health Center in Pekanbaru in 2019 obtained p Value ? which is 0.0001 < 0.05, meaning that there is a relationship There is a significant relationship between mother's work status and child's temper tantrum behavior. Through this research, it is hoped that mothers will add insight, especially about temper tantrums so that mothers can know and can prevent temper tantrums in children.

Abstract

Breast cancer arises as a result of abnormal cells forming in the breast at an uncontrolled and irregular rate. There are several types of treatment for breast cancer patients and one of them is chemotherapy. The frequency of chemotherapy can cause several effects that can worsen the patient's functional status. Functional status is an ability to perform daily tasks that include work, self-care, and maintenance of family or social roles. This study aims to identify ADL compliance in breast cancer patients undergoing chemotherapy. This study used a descriptive design, the sample was taken using a non-probability sampling method, namely accidental sampling and the instrument used was a questionnaire compiled using a Likert scale. The reliability test of this study used a Cronbach Alpha of 0.917. Data collection was carried out from September 2015 to August 2016. The description of ADL fulfillment of breast cancer patients undergoing chemotherapy was described to determine the frequency and percentage. The results showed that the fulfillment of ADL in breast cancer patients undergoing chemotherapy was independent (20 people, 54.1%), partial dependence (10 people, 27%), and total dependence (7 people, 18.9%). It can be concluded that most breast cancer patients undergoing chemotherapy can carry out their Activity Daily Living with an independent level of ability.
