Abstract

This study aims to examine the effects of psychological, physiological, and time-related aspects of Quick Response Code Indonesian Standard (QRIS) usage on consumer satisfaction from the perspective of Islamic business ethics. The research employs a quantitative approach using a survey method. Data were collected from 100 consumers who used QRIS at clothing stores in Simpur Center, Bandar Lampung. Data analysis was conducted using multiple linear regression analysis with the assistance of SPSS software. The results indicate that the psychological aspect has a positive and significant effect on consumer satisfaction, highlighting the importance of trust, security, and comfort in digital transactions. The physiological aspect also shows a significant influence, although with a relatively lower magnitude, which is associated with ease of use, interface clarity, and system responsiveness. In addition, the time aspect significantly affects consumer satisfaction, as transaction efficiency and speed enhance convenience and reduce waiting time. Simultaneously, these three aspects exert a significant influence on consumer satisfaction, explaining 67 percent of the variance. From the perspective of Islamic business ethics, the implementation of QRIS reflects the principles of justice, transparency, responsibility, and public benefit (maslahah), thereby supporting the provision of secure, fair, and efficient transaction services. This study concludes that optimizing QRIS usage in line with Islamic business ethics values has the potential to enhance consumer satisfaction and support the sustainability of digital payment systems.

Abstract

The natural cosmetics industry faces intensifying competition as consumer awareness of product safety and environmental sustainability grows. This situation requires companies, especially micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs), to develop marketing strategies that are not only sales-oriented but also focused on building customer loyalty as the foundation for business sustainability. This study aims to analyze efforts to increase customer loyalty at PT Karya Iwin Insani by examining product quality and service, and to strengthen competitive strategies through competitor analysis. The study employs a descriptive qualitative approach, collecting data through semi-structured interviews, non-participant observation, documentation, and a literature review. Informants were purposively selected from within the company who were directly involved in production, marketing, and customer service activities. Data analysis was conducted using the Miles and Huberman model, which includes data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing, and was tested for validity through source and technique triangulation. The results showed that customer loyalty was built through consistent quality of natural products, guaranteed safety of use, and environmental sustainability values internalized in the brand identity. In addition, the company used competitive analysis to develop product differentiation and value-based promotional strategies rather than relying on price competition. This strategy strengthens the company's market position and increases customer trust and loyalty. These findings indicate that the integration of customer loyalty building and competitor analysis plays an essential role in creating sustainable competitive advantage in the natural cosmetics industry.

Abstract

This study aims to identify the opportunities and challenges faced by Islamic banking in the digital era and to formulate strategic steps for its development. The digital transformation characterized by the emergence of technologies such as artificial intelligence (AI), blockchain, the Internet of Things (IoT), and big data has revolutionized the global financial system, including the Islamic banking industry. Using a library research approach, data were collected from various scientific literatures such as journals, books, and official reports related to digital Islamic economics and finance. The findings indicate that digitalization presents significant opportunities for Islamic banking to enhance operational efficiency, expand financial inclusion, and foster innovation in products based on Sharia principles—such as mobile banking, halal e-wallets, and Sharia-based crowdfunding platforms. Nevertheless, several challenges persist, including limited Sharia digital literacy, cybersecurity threats, insufficiently skilled human resources (HR) in both technology and Sharia disciplines, and the need for adaptive digital regulations and fatwas. To address these issues, this research recommends several strategic steps: developing a digital transformation roadmap, strengthening infrastructure and cybersecurity, improving digital literacy, developing Sharia digital human resources, fostering collaboration between Islamic banks and fintech, and harmonizing regulations and fatwas with technological developments. The study concludes that the success of digital transformation in Islamic banking largely depends on the synergy between technology, Sharia principles, and strong regulatory support, in order to realize an inclusive, efficient, and sustainable Islamic financial system in the digital age.
