Abstract

Modern Monetary Theory or MMT is currently considered capable of making a country no longer dependent on the value of taxes and debt. Printing as much money as needed in the real sector will not make printing money cause inflation as it has been. There have not been many studies that discuss this MMT from an Islamic economic point of view. This study aims to provide new insights for monetary policy, especially Islamic monetary, in developing monetary policy in accordance with the development of exchange instruments or money circulation which is currently very rapid. This research is a qualitative research with a library research approach. The data sources used are primary data sources (Ibn Khaldun's book and Umer Chapra's book), secondary data (supporting books, journals, and other literature). The data analysis used is descriptive analysis and content analysis (conten analysis). Data assurance through triangulation, namely sources, methods, investigators and theories. The result of this research is that modern monetary theory (MMT) can be one of the options in overcoming an economic recession, in line with the Islamic economy which emphasizes more on real investment than investment on paper, with strict requirements. Modern Monetary Theory (MMT) can be adopted to help increase people's purchasing power so that it has an impact on increasing state income without having to increase foreign debt.

Abstract

Currently, Japan's free market and industrial economy is the third largest in the world after the United States and China, in terms of international purchasing power variations. The Japanese economy is made up of all the elements that make up a modern economy: industry, trade and agriculture. Good relations with various countries are one of the factors that help expedite foreign trade. One of them that is being intensively reviewed by the Japanese government is the halal market in Japan which has experienced quite significant developments in recent years. The Japanese government is motivated to advance the halal market by increasing the halal industry and halal tourism because Muslim tourists from all over the world are starting to flock to Japan. The seriousness of the Japanese government in the halal market is marked by the provision of halal-certified products that attract Muslim tourists from all over the world. Japan is also paying attention to the application of sharia principles in the field of tourism, including halal food with halal standards. The desire to prepare many halal restaurants was also driven by Japan's election as host for the world sporting event, the 2020 Olympics.

Abstract

Preparing MSME to develop businesses through digital entrepreneurship is important to accelerate the digitization and MSME’s sustainable business. This study aims to discuss the implementation of digital entrepreneurship in MSMEs and explore the factors that can influence the implementation of digital entrepreneurship. This research is a qualitative research. This study involved ten micro and small business activists in the Bali region. Semi structured interviews were used as a data collection technique. The findings indicated that seven out of ten MSMEs stated that they do not clearly understand how to use technology into their business, some of them consider it is a complexity. Some even think it is not necessary to involve technology in their business, they show some concern. Then the factors that influence the application of digital entrepreneurship appear, things that are conveyed the most are courage, they learn about the market trend, interested use technological innovation, never stop learning and never give up. The contribution of this research is found in the factors that influence the application of digital entrepreneurship as a MSME business strategy. This research offers a comprehensive model to understand the factors that influence application of digital entrepreneurship to MSMEs. This model can be used as a reference for further research to develop survey instruments in an effort to obtain empirical evidence which can be generalized about the factors that influence the application of digital entrepreneurship in MSMEs. In addition, this research can also be used as a reference source for formulating the right strategy in digitizing MSMEs.

Abstract

With the rapid development of information technology, online shopping platforms have sprung up to facilitate changes in consumer behavior that are starting to shop online. In communicating superiority and attracting customer interest to use the online shopping platform, advertising media and brand ambassadors are massively used to carry out marketing campaigns. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of advertising and selecting brand ambassadors on the purchasing decisions of Shopee customers, one of the fastest growing online shopping platforms. This research is a quantitative research with a correlational approach with regression analysis to see the relationship between variables. Data collection techniques were carried out using a questionnaire. This study has three (3) variables, namely Advertising and Brand Ambassadors as independent variables and Purchase Decision as the dependent variable. The subjects in this study were 100 students in the Province of D.I.Y who had shopped online using the Shopee platform. From the processing of the research results, it was concluded that advertising has a positive influence on purchasing decisions, and brand ambassadors have no effect on purchasing decisions of Shopee consumers from DIY students.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the Effect of Company Size (Size) and Affiliated Transactions (RTA) on Profitability (ROA) and their impact on Tax Avoidance (ETR) in Large Trading Goods Production Subsector Companies in 2021. This study uses secondary data sourced from financial reports. companies included in the LQ45 list for the period ending in 2021. The number of samples in this study were 21 companies, which made transactions with related parties (Affiliates) based on a purposive sampling technique. The analytical method used is Path. Analysis or path analysis using IBM SPSS Statistics 26 and Microsoft Excel software. Based on the results of this study, Size, RTA and ROA have an effect on tax evasion (ETR) and RTA has no direct effect on ETR

Abstract

This study aims to find out whether there are significant differences between the cash flow statements before and during the Covid-19 pandemic for food and beverage companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange. The analytical method used is descriptive analysis, which is an analysis that provides an overview of the data obtained from the research results. Normality test using the Kolmogorov-Smirnov one sample test, and hypothesis testing using the Wilcoxon signed rank test. The results of this study indicate that there is no significant difference between the cash flow statements before and during the Covid-19 pandemic for food and beverage companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to examine the effect of direct spending, indirect spending, and local government equity on economic growth in the province of Central Kalimantan in 2018-2020. The population in this study were all regencies/cities in Central Kalimantan province, totaling 14 regencies/cities. The sampling technique uses saturated sampling. Data collection techniques using documentation. The data analysis technique used is multiple linear regression analysis. The results of the study show that direct spending and local government equity have a positive effect on economic growth. Meanwhile, indirect spending has no positive effect on economic growth.

Abstract

This study aims to find out what marketing mix strategies XYZ restaurants have carried out and to provide an overview of the strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats that XYZ restaurants will face. This research uses qualitative research with a descriptive approach, data collection is carried out by interviews, observations and documentation. The results of this study show the marketing mix strategy implemented by XYZ North Jakarta restaurants to attract consumers and increase restaurant sales. From the product aspect (Product) XYZ Restaurant serves the main products served are Kalasan Grilled Chicken and Kremes Fried Chicken. The attraction that affects consumers is that the price is quite affordable and a strategic place, besides being supported by a comfortable and clean place to eat. From the price aspect of XYZ restaurant, which can be said to be the cheapest among other similar competitors, restaurants must apply competitive prices, from the aspect of place (place) distribution channels, XYZ restaurants register with online ordering applications such as Go Food, Grab Food, Shopeefood, and We Help You to make it easier for consumers to make long-distance purchases. From the promotional aspect, the promotion carried out by the Saung Pooci restaurant is to put a banner on the front side of the restaurant that is visible from the road. Promotions are also carried out through instagram social media, as well as utilizing online ordering applications such as Go Food, Grab Food, Shopee Food and We Help Youwhich can reach more consumers and provide 10-60 percent promos on online orders. From the people aspect, this marketing mix emphasizes more on individual dexterity, responsiveness in consumer needs. In the process aspect (proces) provides convenience to consumers when making payments because this restaurant can make payments through shopeepay, ovo, and M-Banking. And provide free delivery for the surrounding area that is affordable. From the aspect of physical appearance (Physical evidance) provides a comfortable and clean place, as well as providing music to the room so that consumers relax. This restaurant also provides complete facilities such as parking lots, toilets and toilets.
