Abstract

This study aims to find out and to analyze the Current Ratio, Capital Structure, and Corporate Size partially affect the Financial Performance of Mining Companies listed on the Indonesian Stock Exchange (BEI) in the period 2014-2016. The sample used is 120 financial statements of mining companies listed in BEI. The method used in sampling is purposive sampling. Data is collected by downloading, recording, researching, and copying information relating to the issues discussed in the study. Data analysis using descriptive statistics, classical assumption test, and multiple linear regression analysis, t-test, and coefficient of determination (R2). The results of this study indicate that current ratio and the size of the company does not affect on financial performance of mining companies on BEI in the 2014-2016, while the capital structure has a significant effect on the financial performance of mining companies on the company’s financial performance.

Abstract

The design of this study are included in the confirmatory research and research as well as explanatory. Analysis technique used is to use the Structural Equation Modeling (SEM).. Data retrieval techniques using purposive sampling method with the number of respondents 140 respondents. The results showed that: (1) Ease of use online shopping perceived significantly influence consumers 'attitude towards online purchases batik in East Java, (2) the perceived benefits of online shopping significantly influence consumers' attitude towards online purchases batik in East Java, (3) Ease of use online shopping perceived significant impact on repeat purchase intention online Batik in East Java, (4) the perceived benefits of online shopping does not significantly influence online purchase intentions in batik in East Java, (5) the attitude of influential consumers significant impact on repeat purchase intention online batik in East Java.

Abstract

This research aim for given prove empirically effect application role of quality management system to factor or variable that influence quality human resources development. This research carry out in PT. Casuarina Harnessindo – Bekasi, with use population with amount 30 respondent with use census sample draw method: sample drawing where all population amount become sample so that amount sample within this research have amount 30 respondent. Datacollection technique use documentation and questioner. Data analysis method use research instrument test use validity test and reliability test, hypothesis test consist multiple linear regression, determinan coefficient, t testt analysis and F test, classic assumption test consist normality, multicolienearity, heteroskedasity and autocorrelation.

Abstract

Employee of UPTD PKB Dinas Perhubkominfo Kabupaten Sleman in providing services of motor vehicle testing must meet the criteria as contained in the SK MENPAN No.63/2003 covering six criterias that are service procedure, service time, service cost, service product, infrastructure, and competence of service provider. Consumer satisfaction of the application of motor vehicles testing measured with five characteristics, that are tangibles, reliability, responsiveness, assurance, and empathy. The results of this research indicate that performance of employee in service will support organizational performance significanly (Z-test). The variables of organizational performance (service procedure, service time, service cost, service product, infrastructure, and competence of service provider) have an effect to increase consumer satisfaction of the application of motor vehicles test, partially (t-test) and also simultaneously (F-test). In this research, the dominant effect of customer satisfaction to organizational performance is infrastructure.

Abstract

This study aims to explain the influence of the Social Security program on performance and job satisfaction and job stress as a mediating variable. In addition, this study also describes the effect of job satisfaction on the performance and the effect of work stress on performance. The relationship of each variable in this research is to be measured by conducting a survey on 145 employees of private companies that included in Social Security program on DIY and Solo. Then the path analisys used to test the effect of social security program performance in mediation by job satisfaction, performance and job stress, job satisfaction, and examines the effect on the performance and the effect of work stress on performance. The results showed that the social security program significant positively affects job satisfaction and performance. Job satisfaction was also positively and significantly affect performance. Even though mediating role of job satisfaction in the relationship between social security program performance partial. Because merely direct relationship between social security program with greater performance than the mediating role of job satisfaction. Social Security program did not significantly affect the stress of work, as well as job stress did not significantly affect performance. Therefore, the mediating role of work stress on the relationship between social security program with the performance did not occur. Individual differences and work experience may be a factor that causes no significant relationship between the two variables.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was developing a service quality model in the business of higher education services at the Faculty of Economics, University of Wijaya Kusuma Surabaya, Indonesia which is grounded that can be used as the foundation of researchers in a service research and implementation for business practitioners of higher education services. This research used a qualitative research design with a critical incident technique model, which explored the answers of the student respon-dents and alumni service users to examine deeper the experience of understanding the most satisfying and the most unsatisfaction of institutions.

Abstract

From the preliminary study, the results stated that there was a tendency for an increase in healthcare tourism of Acehnese visits to Malaysia from year to year. The chaotic condition represent of the quality of health services in Indonesia, especially in Aceh, that must be sought for the best solution. Therefore research was carried out with the title "Analysis of Hospital Services Quality in Aceh with the HSQ-Metrix model" which was more comprehensive in assessing the quality of hospital healthcare services. This model is a latest development of HospitalQual compiled by Itumalla et al. in 2014. This model includes the variable Religious Obedience or Religion as one of the quality requirements for healthcare services in hospitals that are in accordance with Sharia principles. Finally, the quality of service at RSUD Dr. Zainoel Abidin still needed a further improvement. HSQ-Metrix values between patient expectations and patient perceptions are still in negative results. This value described that RSUD dr. Zainoel Abidin has not provided services in accordance with patient expectations yet. Perception from the high-level management of RSUD dr. Zainoel Abidin regarding the services desired by non-BPJS patients was not in accordance with the wishes of actual patients. The practices of the quality standards set by the RSUD dr. Zainoel Abidin has not been fully implemented. The recommend will be to to follow up on the concept of proposals in improving the quality of inpatient services, especially on things that have not met consumer expectations. The results of this study are expected to be a supporting material and a driver towards improving the quality of healthcare services in hospitals throughout the Aceh region.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the effect of personal characteristics and job characteristics on organizational commitment of hospital nurses. Employee organiza-tional commitment can be influenced by many factors, including personal charac-teristics and job characteristics. They are the factors form the initial organizational commitment that can affect the ups and downs of employee organizational commitment. The population in this study were hospital nurses in Gombong, Indonesia and the sample of this study was 75 respondents taken by a simple random sampling technique. The data collection technique in this study used a questionnaire with a Likert scale. The main instrument used to obtain data is arranged systematically containing several statements given to respondents who have met the requirements for validity and reliabi-lity. Data analysis used multiple linear regression and the hypothesis testing analysis applied partial significance test. The results showed a positive and significant influence of personal characteristics and job characteristics partially on organizational commit-ment. The implications of the results of this study can be applied in hospitals to build the commitment of nurses through job characteristics and personal characteristics. Further research should use other independent variables outside of this study with a larger number of respondents.

Abstract

As many as 83% of Indonesia's territory is rural. Each region has natural resource potential. However, it is still rarely managed properly. If managed properly, it has the potential to create economic independence from each of these villages. Currently, Indonesia has a total of 70,611 villages. Of the total villages, 49.9% or 32,379 of them are underdeveloped villages. In Central Java, currently there are 40.5% of disadvantaged villages or 3,467 villages out of 8,564 villages. Village empowerment provides great benefits for the welfare of the lives of rural communities. The concept of OVOP (one village one product) is one of the concepts or models of village self- sufficiency. Research is needed to explore the potential of a village and how its development planning strategy. In the process of development, villages are empowered to be economically independent and their people's welfare will increase significantly. The study aims to identify resources, strength, weakness, opportunity, and threat factors, analyze the position of competitiveness, and formulate strategies to realize the Sunyalangu as an economically self-sufficient village. Data collection methods in this study used Secondary Data Review (SDR), Direct Observation, Semi-Structured Interview (SSI), and Focus Group Discussion (FGD), while the sample of the informants in this study were determined purposively by certain criteria or guidelines.

Abstract

The development of entrepreneurship in transmigration areas is obstacles so that targets cannot be achieved effectively. This study aims to: (1) study the development of entrepreneurship implemented in the transmigration community; (2) reviewing the obstacles to developing entrepreneurship in transmigration areas; and (3) formulating efforts needed to increase entrepreneurship development in trans-migration areas. The study was conducted with a qualitative approach with the type of descriptive research in the Musi Rawas area. The results of the study indicate that the development of entrepreneurship has increased capabilities and is beneficial for business development, but has not effectively increased entrepreneurship and business development capabilities. In general, the constraints of developing entrepreneurship are not focused, diffusion of knowledge, and skills are not effective, have not been connected with entrepreneurship development programs in other technical sectors/ units, and there has been no change in the way of thinking in formulating business development needs.
