Abstract

Medicine Park Herbalia or Toba Puskesmas (Public Health Center) designed in their yards with the goal as a liaison between the human and the natural environment created to meet the spiritual needs (a beautiful atmosphere, secure, peaceful, relaxed, passive recreation, as a means of social and education) and physical needs (as ingredients, versatile, active recreation) for the occupants of Public Health Center or the owner of Toba. Toba can be said to succeed if the owner liked toba extent of the function and aesthetic value in accordance with the principles of design (theme, gradation, contrast, control) which is expressed in design elements (size, shape, texture, color). For simplicity in selecting the elements forming the park and in maintaining the design Toba need appreciation of art and science and technology through the introduction of the factors softscape and hardscape.keywords : medicine herbs park, public healht center (puskesmas)

Abstract

The objective of this research was to study the effect of urea dose in corn cob ammoniation on the dry mater , crude fi ber and crude protein. This research was done in two processes. The fi rst process was producing corn cob ammoniation within 7 days. The second process was analyzed the nutritive value of corn cob ammoniation. This research used Completely Randomized Design with 4 treatments and 4 replications were : A (control), B (corn cob+ 2% urea), C (corn cob + 4% urea), D (corn cob + 6% urea), each treatment added with poultry manure 15% of corn cob dry weight. The parameters measured were dry matter, crudefi ber and crude protein. The result showed that all the treatments resulted signifi cantly differences on dry matter, crude fi ber and crude protein. The conclusion of the research was that the treatment by addition urea 4% gave the best result.Key words : Corn Cob, urea dose, poultry manure and ammoniation

Abstract

Air quality changes due to the discharge gas in the vicinity of the location of bursts of mud in Sidoarjo disrupt the activities of people who live around. Concerns of the dangers caused by gas can increase the burden of the problems already experienced by them. Surveys measuring several parameters of gas in the villages around bursts mud needs to be done to provide clear information about the condition of air quality ambien. The measurement data processing and analysis results are expected to be used as an input when the decision is necessary to avoid another disaster due to the gas leak in that area. Keywords : Air Polution, Sidoarjo mudflow, Gas Consentration Monitoring, Bubble gas

Abstract

Abstract

A study was undertaken to investigate to occurance of phosphate solubilizing bacteria from rhizosphere soil samples of medicine plants in Cibodas Botanical Garden. 13 soil samples of medicine plants are collected randomly The result shows that 71 isolates of phosphate solubilizing bacteria were isolated, and 10 species of these organism was identified as Azotobacter sp, Bacillus sp, Chromobacterium sp, C.violaceum, Citrobacter sp. , Enterobacter sp., E. liquefaciens. Nitrosomonas sp., Serratia rubidaea, Sphaerotillus natans. Azotobacter sp. And Bacillus sp. Are found in all of soil tested. Conversely, Serratia rubidaea is only in the sample from rhizosphere of Plantago mayor The activity of acid alkaline phosphatase in soil tested ranged from 0.78 – 60,18 ugp nitrophenole/g/h, with the higest values being recorded in soil sample from rhizosphere of “Lavender”.Keywords : phosphate solubilizing bacteria, soil enzyme phosphatase

Abstract

Pangkalan Susu Coal Fire Steam Power Plants (CFSPP) are planned to build in Tanjung Pasir Village, Langkat Regency taking sea water as cooling condenser of power plants, and through it back into the sea. To explore the possibilities of re-entry of the circulation of hot water to the intake, it is necessary to study the termal dispersion within the framework of those plans. In this study, numerical modeling to determine termal distribution pattern that comes out from CFSPP outlet. From the study it could be concluded that with the given intake inlet – discharge outfall design configuration and under the worst scenario, cooling water system of Pangkalan Susu unit 3 & 4 is safe i.e. re-circulation of warmcooling water will not happen. The Pangkalan Susu unit 3 & 4 will consume intact sea water (30.5oC). However, the Pangkalan Susu unit 1 & 2 will be influenced by the warm cooling system that may decrease its cooling system efficiency since its inlet is covered by shattered sea water (31.2oC – 32.2oC).keywords : thermal dispersion, power plant. numerical modeling

Abstract

There are two objectives of this research. First, to calculate water available and water need in the research area and second, to analysis the water balance. Water available cover rivers water and springs water, whereas water need cover domestic usage, industrial usage, rivers protect, cattle, fi shery and irrigation. As a result, show that the biggest water available in Central Java is in Serayu River Basin namely 8615.33 million m3/year, whereas the smallest is in Juana River Basin namely 88.39 million m3/year. In East Java, the biggest water available is in Downstream Bengawan Solo River Basin namely 26149.38 million m3/year, whereas the smallest is in Luminu Penguluran River Basin namely 45.26 million m3/year. Base on the water balance, the water balance of both province are also variatifl y. In Central Java, Serang-Lusi, Juana and Citanduy River Basin get water defi cit along years, whereas in East Java, it is just Luminu Penguluran River Basin that get defi cit along years. According the water surplus, Serayu River Basin in Central Java and Downstream Bengawan Solo River Basin in East Java get water surplus along years.Key words : water available, water need, water balance
