Abstract

The Palopo State Islamic Institute has a Faculty of Islamic Economics and Business, the Islamic Banking Study Program. Students, especially Islamic banking study programs, should be able to understand the world of Islamic banking so that this can trigger students' interest in using Islamic banks as a transaction tool. The research carried out was using a type of descriptive qualitative research method with a Field Research approach by examining directly the object to be studied. The data and data sources used in this study are primary and secondary data and techniques in data collection were obtained from observation, interviews and documentation. The instruments in this study were cell phones, cameras, and interview guides. Then analyzed further and drawn a conclusion. Based on Soerjono Soekanto's theory and data found from informants, the results of the study show that the lecturer has carried out his role by providing an introduction to Islamic banking courses through the learning process in the classroom and then the campus has also provided facilities to support student motivation towards interest in transactions in Islamic banks. Also, the campus has collaborated with external parties, in this case, namely BSI and Bank Muamalat in providing socialization regarding the products offered. Then the obstacle is the lack of Automated Teller Machines in the area where students live so this is an excuse for students not to use Islamic banks as a transaction tool.

Abstract

The results of the study show that: (1) knowledge (X1) has a positive and significant effect on customers' decisions to save at BSI because the tcount is 2.562 > ttable 1.664 and sig. 0.012 <0.05 or in other words H0 is rejected H1 is accepted. (2) Service (X2) has a positive and significant effect on customers' decisions to save at BSI because the tcount is 2.150 > ttable 1.664 and sig. 0.035 <0.05 or in other words H0 is rejected H1 is accepted. (3) Promotion (X3) has a positive and significant effect on customers' decisions to save at BSI because the tcount is 2.105 > ttable 1.664 and sig. 0.038 <0.05 or in other words H0 is rejected H1 is accepted. There is an influence between the variables X1, X2 and X3 on Y which can be seen from the results of the coefficient of determination test which shows an Adjusted Square value of 0.178 equivalent to 17.8%. This means that 17.8% of customers' decisions to save at BSI are influenced by knowledge, service and promotion. Then 82.2% was influenced by other factors not explained in the study.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the determinants of customers in  choosing a murabahah contract at an Islamic bank.  This type of research is research quantitatively with a population of all BSI KCP Palopo Ratulangi customers.  Taking a sample of 80 respondents using Roscoe's theory and using purposive sampling.  The method used to test the hypothesis is the classical assumption test,hypothesis testing, multiple regression testing, and test of the coefficient of determination.  The analytical tool in this study uses assistance  SPSS versions 22 and 24. From the results of data processing it shows that simultaneously variable internal factors (psychological and personal) and variables external factors (culture and demography) have a positive and significant effect on the customer's decision in choosing a murabahah contract at an Islamic bank with a significance level of 0.000.  While partially variable factor internal (psychological and personal) positive and significant effect on the customer's decision in choosing a murabahah contract at an Islamic bank with significance level of 0.004 and the value of tcount>ttable (3.823>1.991), but the variable external factors (culture and demographics) have no positive and significant effect on the customer's decision in choosing a murabahah contract at an Islamic bank with a significance level of 0.21 and tcount<ttable (1.245<1.991).

Abstract

This thesis discusses the risk control strategy for non-performing financing on trust products at PT. Luwu Branch Sharia Pawnshop. This study aims to describe the strategy of PT. Sharia Pegadaian Luwu Branch in risk control on trustful products. The type of research used is qualitative research with a descriptive approach. Data obtained by conducting observations, interviews and documentation. The results showed that the risk control strategy of PT. Sharia Pegadaian Luwu Branch for non-performing financing has been implemented, especially for Amanah products. This strategy includes risk monitoring, risk measurement, risk monitoring, and financing problem solving. In identifying the financing risks of PT. Luwu Branch Sharia Pegadaian uses 5C analysis and BI verification. For risk measurement, PT. Pegadaian Syariah Luwu Branch uses quantitative and qualitative risk measurements and divides them into five categories, namely current, substandard, on special mention, doubtful, and loss. In monitoring the risk of financing PT. The Luwu Branch Sharia Pawnshop made the first visit to the customer’s location, but follow-up was not carried out properly after the disbursement of the financing. Meanwhile, for the settlement of non-performing financing, PT. The Luwu Branch of Sharia Pegadaian contacts customers, visits customers and shows a letter of repayment.

Abstract

This study aims: to describe the implementation of Integrated Marketing Communications that can increase the number of customers at Bank Syariah Indonesia (BSI) Kcp Andi Djemma Palopo City. The type of research used by researchers is qualitative research with descriptive research types. The location of the research was carried out at Bank Syariah Indonesia KCP Andi Djemma, Palopo City. The subjects in this study were Marketing at Bank Syariah Indonesia (BSI) KCP Andi Djemma, Palopo City. With the research instruments used, namely in the form of interview guidelines and observation guidelines. Data collection techniques used are observation techniques, interviews and documentation. The data analysis technique used is by means of data reduction, data presentation and drawing conclusions. The results of this study illustrate that: In the marketing process of Bank Syariah Indonesia (BSI) Kcp Andi Djemma, Palopo City, which applies an integrated marketing communication model, it can be said that it is able to increase the number of its customers, this is based on efforts to carry out marketing and other things, namely in terms of awareness self and society's perspective on religion by paying attention to sharia matters in life. This certainly has a positive effect on the development of Islamic banking in Indonesia, which in fact is one of the countries with the largest Muslim community in the world.

Abstract

This study aims: To determine the application of the murabaha contract system to microfinance at BRI Syariah KCP Palopo; This type of research is field research using qualitative research methods. The data analysis technique used is descriptive analysis and SWOT analysis is measured by interviews to determine the overall internal and external factors of microfinance at BRI Syariah KCP Palopo. The results of research in the field show that 1) The application of the murabaha contract system in microfinance at BRI Syariah performs one contract first, the first is done with a wakalah contract, then continues with a murabaha contract. 2) Provision of microfinance using a murabaha contract has an influence on MSME business development in terms of business capital, turnover, income, number of products and expansion of the location of the business. 3) In the process of providing microfinance to MSME customers, BRI Syariah experienced obstacles such as a lack of understanding by customers about contracts and products, and the ineffectiveness of using business capital. From the results of the SWOT analysis based on the identification of internal factors and external factors on Micro Financing Products at BRI Syariah KCP Palopo, namely creating strategies to overcome weaknesses and threats and increase strengths and opportunities, one of which is BRI Syariah introducing sharia bank products to MSMEs to increasing interest in taking financing at BRI Syariah KCP Palopo.

Abstract

The research in this thesis is based on the quality of products Bank Muamalat KCU Kediri can not reach all layers so that customers can only choose one of several products that exist, Sharia value in BMI is less maximally applied, it appears that the customer's needs are not a concern in financing, so it is not in accordance with the needs of real customers. This study uses a quantitative approach to this type of associative research. Sampling uses accidental sampling techniques. The data source used in this study is the main data. The measurements in this study used a likert scale. Next stage, test the data instrument with validity and reliability test, classic assumption test and Multiple Linear Regression which serves to prove the research hypothesis.The results showed (1) The quality of the product had a positive and significant effect on customer satisfaction at Bank Muamalat KCU Kediri (2) Islam value had a positive and significant effect on customer satisfaction at Bank Muamalat KCU Kediri. (3) The quality of the products, and the value of Islam, together have a positive and significant effect on customer satisfaction at Bank Muamalat KCU Kediri.

Abstract

This study aims to find out how customers perceive the service quality of people's business loans at PT BANK BRI Wasuponda unit. The research method used is descriptive quantitative. With a population of 250 customers by taking samples using probability sampling techniques and random research samples determined 50 customers. Data analysis used descriptive analysis with frequency distribution analysis tools.The results showed that the customer's perception of the service quality of KUR provision was in the good category with a percentage of 75 ≤ 100% and the affective indicator being the highest aspect with a yield of 1391. This variable was measured through the cognitive aspect with an acquisition percentage of 89.35%, affective with obtaining a percentage of 86.93%, conative with an acquisition of a percentage of 88.75%, tangible with an acquisition of a percentage of 88.16%., reliability with an acquisition of a percentage of 87.87%., Responsiveness with an acquisition of a percentage of 87.5%, assurance with an acquisition of a percentage of 90.12% and empathy with gain of 89.37%.

Abstract

Unsatisfactory bank service will cause customers to switch to other banks, on the contrary, satisfactory bank service will make customers loyal. This study aims to determine the strategy of Indonesian Islamic banks in Palopo city in maintaining customer loyalty. this research was conducted at the Islamic Bank of Palopo city. The data collection technique is to use interviews with BSI and become informants researchers are employees and customers of BSI, documentation to collect written data. The results of this study show that the strategy used by BSI is very important through the services provided by BSI. The loyalty of customers themselves can be seen from their persistence in order to continue to use BSI services even though many other institutions offer the same product but they still survive in BSI. The quality of services provided by the bank is one of the main concerns of customers in choosing a bank.

Abstract

The aims of this research are: to determine the effect of ujrah and pawn gold customer service simultaneously on satisfaction at Bank Syariah Mandiri, Palopo City; The type in this research is quantitative. Then the population is 1949 customers who have pawned their gold at Bank Syariah Mandiri Palopo. Sampling In this study, Simple Random Sampling will be used (a simple random technique), namely a sampling technique that provides equal opportunity to the population to be sampled. Then the sample used is using the slovin formula so that the sample is 95 customers who use gold pawn products. The instrument used is a questionnaire (questionnaire). The data analysis technique used is multiple regression. The research results obtained are: 1) partially/t test, it is known that the ujrah variable (X1) has a calculated t value (4.165) and the service variable (X2) has a tcount value (5.848), while the t table value (1.986), so that it can be concluded that ujrah has a positive effect on the Y variable (customer satisfaction) is positive, and service (X2) has a positive effect on the customer satisfaction variable (Y) has a positive value. 2) Simultaneously the variable ujrah (X1) and service (X2) (test f) f count is 37.239 while f table is 3.09 (see table f), because f count > f table (37.239 > 3.09) or significance value of 0.000 <0.05 then H0 is rejected H1 is accepted. So it can be concluded that the ujrah and service variables simultaneously influence the satisfaction of gold pawn customers at Bank Syariah Mandiri, Palopo City.
