Abstract

Learning in the 2013 curriculum students are more required to be active in the learning process, in supporting student learning activities a media is needed that will help students in participating in school learning, one of them using a textbook. in this study aims to describe the quality of chemistry textbooks for class XI 2013 curriculum based on content suitability, and suitability presentation of material to be reviewed based on the university standard textbook by James E. Brady. Type of research that is used is qualitative research with descriptive methods. The results of the study showed that based on the conformity of the material in the 2013 curriculum chemistry textbook in accordance with the standard textbook used, not all of the hydrocarbon compounds in the standard textbook were explained in class XI. whereas in petroleum material there is no compatibility with the standard textbook used.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui tentang pengelolaan fasilitas Objek Wisata Pasir Tiku. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian deskriptif dengan pendekatan kualiatif. Teknik  pengumpulan data yang dilakukan dengan mengunakan metode observasi, dokumentasi, dan wawancara, adapun yang menjadi sampel dari penelitian ini adalah karyawan bagian pengembangan, staf pengelola fasilitas Objek Wisata Pasir Tiku. Data dalam penelitian ini dianalisis dengan tahapan reduksi data. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian ditemukan beberapa hal yang berkaitan dengan pengelolaan fasilitas Objek Wisata Pasir Tiku.1) Perencanaan pengelolaan parkir, toilet, restoran, dan jalan yang ada di sekitar Objek Wisata Pasir Tiku, saat ini belum ada perencanaan. Untuk kedepannya baru ada perencanaan pengelolaan fasilitas yang ada. 2) penggorganisasian fasilitas parkir, toilet, restoran dan jalan, hanya dilakukan diwaktu pengunjung ramai datang ke Objek Wisata Pasir Tiku.3) Cara pengelola mengarahkan petugas parkir, toilet, restoran dan jalan yaitu dengan cara melibatkan semua petugas dalam rapat sebelum diadakan suatu acara atau sebelum hari-hari besar datang. 4) Cara pengendalian fasilitas parkir, toilet, restoran dan jalan. Parkir akan dikelola saat pegunjung ramai datang dan disaat hari-hari besar, toilet akan dibuka disaat pengunjung ramai, masyarakat yang mengontrak restoran akan mencari tenaga kerja keluar saat pengunjung ramai, pembersihan jalan akan dilakukan apabila ada instruksi dari Pemda. Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini adalah, saat ini di Objek Wisata Pasir Tiku belum ada ada perencanaan untuk mengelola fasilitas yang ada, sehingga fasilitas yang ada tidak biasa dikondisikan sebagaimana mestinya. Semua fasilitas yang ada akan di fungsikan saat pengunjung ramai datang ke Objek Objek Wisata Pasir Tiku. Seharusnya dibuat tempat parkir khusus untuk kendaraan tamu baik waktu pengunjung ramai maupun sepi, toilet sebaiknya dibuka setiap hari, restoran sebaiknya dibuk sampai malam hari.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the various types of remediation techniques, to determine the dangers of heavy metals to the environment and to determine the weaknesses and strengths of each method. This paper will discuss three methods of chemical soil remediation which include soil flushing, soil washing and solidification/ stabilization techniques. From the three techniques discussed, it is known that solidification / stabilization techniques are suitable techniques for effectively reducing heavy metal waste.

Abstract

This research aims to produce learning materials of worksheet based on guided inquiry learning  for chemical bonding topic which practicality. The designed worksheet graded by panellist from chemistry teachers and 26 students in high school. To collect data, practicality questionnaire were used as the instruments. The data analysis technique used in this research were percentage of practicality. The data in this research are primary data consisting of practicality. The result of practicality by teachers was very practice with value 94% and practicality by students was practice with value 75%.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui pengaruh penggunaan model pembelajaran inkuiri terbimbing terhadap hasil belajar siswa pada topik redoks dan elektrokimia. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian deskriptif kualitatif. Data dikumpulkan dengan menggunakan teknik stusdi dokumen. Selanjutnya data dianalisis menggunakan teknik analisis data Miles dan Huberman yang meliputi empat 3 tahapan yaitu, reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan /verifikasi. Hasil penelitian adalah; model pembelajaran inkuiri terbimbing dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa siswa yang dibelajarkan menggunakan model pembelajaran inkuiri terbimbing memiliki ketercapaian yang lebih baik. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa metode inkuiri terbimbing lebih baik dalam meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa dalam ranah kognitif, psikomotorik dan afektif.

Abstract

Prinsip pembuatan asap cair dari tempurung kelapa ini menggunakan prinsip pirolisis yaitu proses pemanasan suatu zat tanpa adanya oksigen sehingga terjadi penguraian komponen-komponen penyusunnya. Pembakaran tidak sempurna ini menyebabkan senyawa karbon kompleks tidak teroksidasi menjadi karbon dioksida. Asap cair yang dihasilkan di uji dengan FTIR (Fourier Transform Infra Red) untuk melihat senyawa yang terkandung dalam asap cair. Pengaplikasian asap cair sebagai biopestisida dilakukan dengan menggunakan uji motalitas pada kecoa dengan variasi konsentrasi asap cair yaitu 2, 4, 6, 8, 10, 20 dan 100 %. Asap cair yang dihasilkan pada penelitian ini merupakan asap cair grade tiga dengan sifat fisiknya berupa warna kuning kecoklatan pekat dan beraroma kuat.

Abstract

In the 2013 curriculum requires learning active students looking for or finding their own concepts not just reading and memorizing every concept that exists.The scientific approach in accordance with the 2013 curriculum is one of them guided inquiry learning models. Addictive substances is the science subject matter for grade VIII SMP in semester one. addictive substances can not be practiced and demonstrated because the material to be used may not be carried carelessly. To understand this material we need a media that are suitable with curriculum 2013. The purpose of this research was to develop powerpoint interactive learning media based on guided inquiry on addictive material and showed the validity and practicality. The type of reseach used to get product is reseach and development (R&D) with 4-D models. Powerpoint interactive validity testing is carried out by 3 chemistry lecturers at FMIPA UNP and 2 natural science teacher at SMP Pembangunan Laboratorium UNP. The practicality questionnaire was failled by 2 natural science teacher and 20 student in grade IX at SMP Pembangunan Laboratorium UNP. Data from the validity and practicality results were analyzed using the cohen Kappa formula. From the results of the validity, the average of kappa moment was 0.84 with a very high validity category. From the results of the practicality on the teacher, the average of kappa moment was 0.89 and the students were 0.88 with a very high practicality category.base on the result, the resulting interactive powerpoint is valid and practical.

Abstract

The rate of reaction is one of the chemical materials studied in SMA / MA. This material is fact, concept, principle and procedural which must be explained by three levels of chemical representation. Based on the results of teacher interviews at SMAN 1 Ulakan Tapakis, SMAN 2 Sungai Limau and SMAN 14 Padang the teaching materials used have not yet presented submicroscopic levels. So that students don?t know the actual process that occurs in chemical reactions. One of the learning media that can visualize three levels of chemical representation is powerpoint media. Therefore the development of guided inquiry-based interactive powerpoint learning media was carried out on the reaction rate material and expressed its level of validity and practicality as a chemical learning media. The type of research conducted is the development of a 4-D model (define, design, develop and diseminate). Based on the results of data validity analysis, the average kappa moment was 0.85 with a very high validity category and the results of practical data obtained by the average kappa moment of 0.88 by teachers and 0.86 by students with very high practicality categories.

Abstract

This research intent to describe the perceptions of vocational high school students on the competence of educational field practice students in the cosmetology and beauty department of the tourism and hospitality faculty of Padang State University. This research gets quantitative descriptive character. Total population 80 students and samples as much 80 students with samples taking tech it total sampling. Data analysis tech utilize percentage formula. Acknowledged observational result perception of vocational high school students on the pedagogic competence of educational field practice students in the cosmetology and beauty department of the tourism and hospitality faculty of Padang State University in a fairly good category with a percentage of 78%. Next perception of vocational high school students on the personality competence of educational field practice students in the cosmetology and beauty department of the tourism and hospitality faculty of Padang State University in a good category with a percentage of 83%. Next perception of vocational high school students on the social competence of educational field practice students in the cosmetology and beauty department of the tourism and hospitality faculty of Padang State University in a good category with a percentage of 85%. Meanwhile perception of vocational high school students on the professional competence of educational field practice students in the cosmetology and beauty department of the tourism and hospitality faculty of Padang State University in a good category with a percentage of 81%. From the results of descriptive analysis it can be seen that the perception of vocational high school students on competence of educational field practice students in the cosmetology and beauty department of the tourism and hospitality faculty of Padang State University in a good category with a percentage of 81,75%.

Abstract

This research is aimed to develop the module of periodic nature of the element on  guided discovery learning. The type of research used is research and development or Research and Development (R&D). The development model used is Plomp model which consists of 3 stages, namely: preliminary research, prototyping satge, and assessment phase. The validity test of this module was done by 2 lectures at FMIPA UNP, 2 chemistry teachers at SMAN 3 Padang Panjang and 1 chemistry teachers at SMA Pembangunan Laboratorium UNP using validation instrument. Practicality test was done by 2 chemistry teachers at SMAN 3 Padang Panjang and 29 student X MIPA 1 of SMAN 3 Padang Panjang using practical questionnaires. Validity instrument and practical questionnaires was analyzed using the Cohen Kappa (k) formula. The results of the validity test showed that the module has a very high validity category (k = 0,89). Practicality test results by teachers and students showed that the module has high practicality category (k = 0,90 and 0,84). Based on the results of this research, it can be concluded that the module of periodic nature of the element on guided discovery learning was produced for valid and practical high school students.
