Journal of Multidisciplinary Academic is published bimonthly by the Kemala Publisher, Indonesia. Journal of Multidisciplinary Academic publishes original work of importance in any field which will interest readers from more than one discipline. Authors are requested to write their papers and reports in a manner and style that is intelligible to specialists and non-specialists alike. Research contributions, which are peer reviewed, are of three kinds: Review Articles, Research Articles and Research Letters. Our second important function is to serve as a forum for debate about recent developments in research and in higher education. (The last category comprises articles which opine on important recent developments either in the published literature or at conferences.) These contributions are not peer reviewed, and potential authors are encouraged to liaise with the Editor-in-Chief before submitting work of this nature to the Journal

Abstract

Stress is a condition in the workplace can be affect job satisfaction and employee performance. The aims of this research to analysis the effect of job stress on job satisfaction job stress on employee performance, and job satisfaction on employee performance. In this study, the observation data taken from 46 employees by using sampling technique. The descriptive and inferential analysis with partial least square (PLS) to test the hypotheses is used to obtain result. The result of the research shows that job stress has negative and significant effect on job satisfaction, job stress has negative and significant effect on employee performance, and job satisfaction has negative significant effect on employee performance. Furthermore, Job satisfaction cannot mediate relationship between job stresses on employee performance.

Abstract

One of micro finance institution that has proliferated in Bali is Village Credit Institutions (VCI). VCI is a kind of micro finance institution which the owner by the traditional village and the only one micro finance institution that is managed by customary in Indonesia. This study aimed to analysis the effect of entrepreneurial orientation on VCI performance with Catur Purusa Arta (CPA) culture as a moderating variable. The research was conducted at Gianyar, Bali with 86 VCI as a sample. Methods of the data collection used interview techniques and questionnaires. Before analysis, the data qualify was test validity and reliability using SPSS. Furthermore, the data have collected was analysis using descriptive analysis and Moderation Regression Analysis (MRA). The results showed that entrepreneurial orientation is significantly affect on VCI performance. CPA is not significant effect on VCI performance. Moreover, the findings explained that CPA not significant strengthen in the effect of entrepreneurial orientation on VCI performance.

Abstract

Today, more than three thousand exoplanets have been confirmed and other millions waiting to be discovered. In addition to determine their physical and precise orbital parameters of exoplanets atmosphere is of important to characterize. This will allows us to investigate their evolution and eventually to see the possibility for some exoplanets to harbor a living system. By using the TAU code, we undertake simulations of exoplanets transmission spectra in the near infrared in order to retrieve transmission spectral profiles of these exoplanets. The simulations adopted thermal profile as well as absorption cross-section as a wavelength function for each modeled absorber or trace molecule H2O (0.24 – 0.34 microns) and C2H6 (0-20 microns). The computation provide scale height, optical depth, transit depth and absorption spectra of absorber. The peak of the spectra may lead us to determine the abundance of each molecule in the atmosphere. Our result gave scale height 89% compared to existing data, and total number density of H2O is 5.42×1025 m-3 for Jupiter's atmosphere. Subsequently, we make spectral models of some hot Jupiters, including HD 189733b with WASP 12b, and earth-like exoplanets.

Abstract

Entering the ASEAN Economic Community (AEC) has forced various business organizations to change the business paradigm from labor based business or traditional patterns lead to a modern business that is knowledge-based business. This study aims to analysis the role of Intellectual capital (human capital, relational capital and structural capital) in developing the service performance at Village Credit Institutions (VCI). This research was conducted at 35 VCI in the Municipalities over Denpasar, Indonesia. Here, the 35 VCI’s was tested to obtain hypotheses using descriptive and inferential analysis Partial Least Square (PLS). The results of the study concluded that human capital and relational capital are significantly influence on services performance. In contrast, structural capital does not significantly influence on service performance.

Abstract

Development of innovative septic tank for Sebesi island has been conducted followed by education the danger of defecation improperly. The reactor was made by using the concept of anaerobic baffled reactor with polyethylene based materials. In the other hand, the education project was successfully conducted that can be seen from the public enthusiasm built the sanitation system followed by the change of community behavior

Abstract

ITERA has six potential embung (reservoir) as a habitat for fresh water flora and fauna, for place of learning and as water tourism. The function of embung (reservoir) is in accordance with ministry PUPR regulation No. 9/2015 is about using water resources, the embung can be utilized as rain retention basin, and aquaculture activity. Water quality in embung (reservoir) will decrease along with many anthropogenic activites that take place around the embung. This study aims to determine the feasibility of embung water quality and customized with ministry Environmental regulation of water quality management and water pollution control No. 82/2001. Embung (reservoir) in ITERA is belonging to the second class category of water quality management. The purpose of research was to analyze water quality parameters including temperature, phosphate, nitrate, BOD, Turbidity, pH, DO, TSS, and Coliform. There are three embung (reservoir) to be sampled on composite. Embung A is located near the highway, Embung B is located near the north entrace gate of ITERA and Embung C is located near LPPM ITERA building. The output of our research will be a source of data reference for follow up in the identification of water pollution and as a form of water quality management of the embungs.
