Diverse problems appear in the lives of the village are definitely wants solving or a solution that as soon as and as soon as possible in order to keep comfort and peace village itself. Community service aims to improve the professionalism of teachers in order to become a professional teacher and can advance the quality of education in Indonesia which is currently still relatively low quality. This devotion was held on Thursday, February 18, 2016, in the Hall Regional Chairman of Muhammadiyah Palangkaraya. Target communities in this devotion are the primary school teachers in the city of Palangkaraya, the selection of schools that follow the activities carried out at random/random. The method used in this service is to provide training to teachers in elementary school and later held discussions between participants and speakers. Cost of service activities is entirely sourced from Muhammadiyah University APBU Palangkaraya Year 2015. After the implementation of this activity, it can be concluded that the trainees acquire new knowledge or to refresh back the knowledge they already have.

Eggs resulting from cattle used for nutritional consumption and sold as the family income. To make eggs durable, a group of farmers women change it into the salted egg and smoke salted egg (intalu jaruk). An increase in business management by making the profile and structure partner organizations. This event is held for four months since may and Agust 2016. The targets for the event are groups of farmers women maker eggs duck salted smoke as many as 2 groups that are groups of farmers women melati village kalibaru subdistrict Batu benawa and groups of women farmers mufakat village hilir banua kecamatan pandawan Kabupaten Hulu Sungai Tengah South Kalimantan. Application of science and technology for the is expected to adopted by a group partner in their entirety with direct involvement between teams devotion with groups of women farmers Melati and groups of women farmers mufakat maker salted egg and salted egg smoke. The implementation of the program devotion it is developed to strategically with focus groups discussion with a partner, training, counseling, technical assistance, evaluation and monitoring of the program the application of science and technology The results of this activity is increasing knowledge, ability, and skill in the management of marketing and business management. Household solid waste produced by households can be processed into compost by using takakura sacs. The purpose of this activity is to give information to the community in Kelurahan Kalampangan about the using of Takakura sacs in making compost from household solid waste. The implementation of this activity carried out by delivery information and demonstration methods. The activity was held on Wednesday, January 20, 2016, from 13:30 to 17:00 pm. The event began with the opening, the delivery of materials using the media leaflet followed by questions and answers. The material presented was a way of making a starter to facilitate the decay of household solid waste and the using of Takakura sacs to make compost. This activity was successfully implemented because of the positive response and enthusiasm from the women of farmer group in Kelurahan Kalampangan.

The rice husk waste often becomes a problem for people in Tatah Makmur district. The mountainous of a stack of rice husk has not been utilized by farmers as a useful material. The science activities for the people aimed to provide knowledge about the utilization of rice husk waste into a charcoal husk, biobricket, and bokashi. The target people of this program are Kelompok Tani Bina Desa Jaya RT. 07 and Yasinan Group RT. 06 in Tatah Makmur district. The types of outcomes generated through the science activities of the people are biobricket and bokashi. The socialization, counseling, and training activities were held from May to October 2015 in Pemangkih Village, Tatah Makmur district, South Kalimantan. The people in the village enthusiastically participated in extension activities as they gained knowledge about the making of bokashi and biobricket so that it can reduce dependence on chemical fertilizers and wood fuels. The science activities for this people can solve the problems of the farmers in the utilization of rice husk waste and at the same time can overcome the farmers’ difficulties in obtaining organic fertilizer.

Rattan craft is one of the excellent products of Palangka Raya city. Producing wicker products in various forms such as mats, bags from small to large size and with the various motive of Dayak typical. Community Service Activities (LPPM) the University of Palangka Raya in 2017 which is implemented is Partnership Program Area (PKW), with Mitra Jawet Bawi Rawi and GE-Ethnic located in district area of Jekan Raya, is accompaniment and development of rattan craft design from rattan mats are designed to be bags, purse, sumping and lawung, which combined with various leather materials such as cowhide, snake or crocodile and then the result of a craft product is then marketed online. Implementation of PKW in September to November 2017, Mitra Jawet Bawi Rawi and GE Ethnic have been able to develop designs of motive on handicraft products made of various bags, purse, and lawung and then market online using social media that is often used is Facebook, WhatsApp, and Instagram. Monitoring results in the implementing team that with the development of the design from the original form only in the form of mats can produce various handicraft products with motives and attractive designs and marketed online can increase the income of crafters.

The aim of this dedication is to improve the teachers’ professionalism in using elementary learning media/KIT in the city of Palangkaraya. The method of this activity used in the form of training/workshop and the training results are presented by each teacher group, through stages 1) lecture 2) simulation 3) exploration 4) mentoring and 5) evaluation. The target audience or training participants were the classroom teachers and subject teachers at Muhammadiyah Elementary School in Palangkaraya city, as many as 19 people and also involves some of the university students who have been trained using elementary learning KIT correctly. The result of this dedication activity showed that: the ability of teachers in Elementary School of Muhammadiyah Pahandut Palangkaraya is 90% teachers has been skilled to both operate learning KIT and 10% teachers in enough category and still need more guidance in operating KIT Learning.

This service activity carried out in the village Langkai slender Pahandut districts in community groups Perumahaan Borneo. The selection of this location because in general, the women in the village built is not working, so had plenty of time to become empowered and more rapidly in accepting technology. This activity aims to help mothers and young women to improve family health by reducing expenses in medicine and improve the utilization of the yard with a plant that functions as medicinal plants. Application activity is the introduction of several types of plants that serve as a remedy. In some women there who are already active in exploiting the yard, then the implementation of the activities is the enrichment kind of TOGA and function. The method used is planting demonstration counseling and mentoring. Activity results showed that women in the target group in two groups RT Borneo and Candra Buana group has formed a TOGA garden in her yard. Evaluation of this activity is a very good response, each group in two households has a garden TOGA, so the evaluation is the increased utilization of the yard seventy-five percent.

At this time character education can no longer be ignored because of the role that is very important to improve the moral and morals of children because the moral children of today's nation are getting away from the good word with the modern era of changes that are cultivated in information technology that is growing rapidly renewal. In this PKM activity, to overcome the apparent problems, the team of lecturers Prodi PAI offers PKM implementation with the form of Character Education Education as a Pillar in Building Moral And Child Morals held at PKBM Luthfillah, which is opened for PKBM and general participants. Considering many people who do not have formal education or equality, this counseling is expected to be useful and equip the community about understanding the guidance of Islam in educating children at home in general and about the procedures for the implementation of personal Islamic character education that can be maximally endeavored by each family members, both the head of the family and the representatives and all their members, so as to assist the government in socializing character education for the grass root community in practice level.

The purpose of accompaniment for craftsmen Jawet Kaladan group is to provide insight and knowledge of the importance of the quality of raw materials, while for the Silip group in the form of accompaniment and diversification of materials using natural materials from Jarenang (Dragon blood). Diversification carried out still apply the elements of the Dayak art form of a straight line and arches. The expected benefit is the craftsmen can improve the quality of raw materials and use the natural coloring material wrong with jarenang. The activities are carried out by initiating the socialization and introduction of tools and materials, followed by the implementation of the activities of bamboo cutting, clearing the outer layer of bamboo, bamboo stem division, separating the inner and outer layers of bamboo, drying the bamboo sheets, coloring the bamboo with the jelagah, giving the color with cruising, attenuate bamboo and tinker. After accompaniment and final evaluation of this service, crafters are expected to have the knowledge and skill of using the jarenang as a natural dye on the handicraft products they produce.
