Hasta Wiyata adalah nama jurnal yang diterbitkan oleh program studi Pendidikan Bahasa dan Sastra Indonesia, Fakultas Ilmu Budaya, Universitas Brawijaya. Kedua istilah tersebut berasal dari bahasa Sanskerta, “hasta” berarti tangan dan “wiyata” berarti pengajaran. Jurnal ini bergerak dalam bidang bahasa, sastra, dan pendidikan. Jurnal Hasta Wiyata memuat hasil penelitian yang inovatif, tulisan ilmiah yang orisinil, refleksi kritis-teoretis, studi literatur, gagasan tertulis, dan artikel konseptual dari berbagai cabang ilmu yang fokus pada kajian bahasa, sastra, dan pendidikan. Jurnal ini terbit dua kali dalam satu tahun, yaitu pada bulan Januari dan Juli.

Abstract

AbstractEach utterance certainly has a context for constructing a speech so that the direction of the conversation with the speech partner becomes clear. The discovery of context in discourse can be found in various objects including in the film. Film connoisseurs must be able to understand or interpret certain meanings (inference) based on the speech in the film, in order to fully understand the purpose and purpose of the speech. Therefore, this study aims to describe the context and inference on the 1991 film by Pidi Baiq. This study uses the method of referring to the note-taking technique (recording / transcribing dialogue in the 1991 Dilan film). The data analysis method used is the matching method, sub-types, the determining tool is the result of language capture by the speech partner. The basic technique used is the determining element or PUP technique. The tool is the mental power that is possessed by the researcher, namely referential disaggregation and pragmatic disaggregation. The method of informal presentation is used in this research, namely the formulation with ordinary words. In the 1991 film Dilan by Pidi Baiq found: (i) the principle of locational interpretation; (ii) the principle of temporal interpretation; (iii) the principle of analogy; and (iv) inference. Each of these discussions has its own characteristics to describe a meaning in a discourse. This is related to the meaning that can be conveyed well to the reader and listene, will have a mental impact after understanding the meaning of the discourse.Keywords: context, inference, film.

Abstract

 Tujuan penelitian ini yaitu untuk mendeskripsikan tindak tutur ekspresif yang terdapat pada Seminar Mario Teguh Terbaru 2019 pada channel milik Sobat Berbagi yangberisi Seminar Mario Teguh Terbaru 2019 dari Part 1-5 di media sosial youtube yang dipublikasikan pada bulan Juni 2019. Data dalam penelitian ini dianalisis menggunakan metode deskriptif kualitatif. Teknik pengumpulan data dalam pidato tersebut yaitu teknik Simak dan catat. Adapun tahap pengumpulan data ini, dengan mengunduh vidio Seminar Mario Teguh Terbaru 2019 dari situs youtoube. Hasil penelitian ini, ditemukan tindak tuturekspresif terima kasih yaitu dengan ucapan terima kasih, tindak tutur ekspresif memuji yaitu dengan kalimat “Sahabat-sahabat saya yang baik hatinya.” dan kalimat “Pertanyaan orang pandai, ia super sekali.” dantindak tutur ekspresif menyalahkan dengan kalimat “..yang ketawa itu menderita sekali, iya.”

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan mengkaji proses internasionalisasi pendidikan tinggi khususnya pada program kelas internasional di Universitas Brawijaya. Titik fokus penelitian ini adalah mengkaji aspek kelembagaan di kelas internasional Universitas Brawijaya. Metode pengumpulan data yang dipakai adalah wawancara dengan perwakilan pengelola dan mahasiswa. Analisis penelitian ini adalah deskriptif kualtitatif guna mengetahui profil kelas internasional di universitas Brawijaya ditinjau dari aspek konteks input, proses dan produk menggunakan teori CIPP oleh Daniel Stufflebeam. Kelas internasional di FEB telah  memenuhi standard evaluasi CIPP oleh Daniel Stufflebeam. Penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa kelas internasional di FEB masih konsisten menggunakan konteks CIPP, tetapi ada dua hal yang belum dilakukan oleh kelas internasional ini yaitu; (1) Program Double Degree yang ada belum terdaftar di Kemenristekdikti. Hal ini disebabkan karena ketentuan terdaftarnya kelas internasional di Kemenristekdikti harus menjadi program studi sendiri yang terpisah dari program studi regular. Sedangkan kelas internasional yang ada di FEB ini masih terintegrasi dengan kelas regular, dan (2) Kurangnya program kompetensi Bahasa Inggris yang dibutuhkan sebagai penunjang kelas internasional di FEB. Program kursus Bahasa Inggris yang tersedia hanya TOEFL, tidak mencakup TOEIC dan IELTS.

Abstract

The bargaining process is common in traditional markets, one of which is in the Malang Splendid Market, a market that consists of Flower Market and Animal Market. The language spoken in the bargaining process is inseparable from the social factors that influence the formation of speech patterns, one of which is gender. The focus of this research is to uncover differences in the speech of women and men in the bargaining process at the Splendid-Malang Market by looking at the linguistic markers contained in the speech, then related to language and gender theory. Linguistic markers targeted in this study are the use of modality and interjection. This research is a type of ethnographic research with SBLB / tapping data collection techniques. The analysis uses the equivalent method so that it can be known the contrast of male and female languages in the bargaining process. Based on the linguistic aspects of the results of this study; First, based on variations in the modality used, women use more modality variations than men. The tendency for this type of modality to be used is that female speakers are more likely to desire, obscure, permit / request, and allow. Male speakers are more inclined to the will / intent, exclusion, and order. Second, women use more variations in interjection than men. The differences in the language of men and women in the bargaining process at Splendid Market are; First, women are more active in the use of language in public spaces than men in the context of bargaining in traditional markets. Second, men show superior and competitive attitudes, while women are more cooperative or like solidarity and cooperation. Third, women are more focused on the affective function of communication than men, so women tend to respond well to their interlocutors.

Abstract

Penelitian ini merupakan analisis tindak tutur dengan subyek Sakakibara Kouichi dalam novel Another. Sistem analisis dilakukan dengan cara melakukan spesifikasi dengan memilih dialog yang mengandung tindak tutur langsung literal, kemudian melakukan identifikasi tindak tutur ilokusi di dalamnya. Hasil dari penelitian menunjukkan dari 85 data yang terkumpul, 81 data merupakan tindak tutur langsung literal. Lebih dalam lagi, jenis ilokusi di dalamnya terdiri dari 41 data ilokusi asertif, 40 data ilokusi direktif., 2 data 2 ilokusi ekspresif, dan 1  data ilokusi komisif. Dari hasil tersebut dapat disimpulkan bahwa menjabarkan tindak tutur dalam tindak tutur memungkinkan dan dapat dijadikan sebagai cara untuk melakukan spesifikasi data bagi penelitian berikutnya.

Abstract

The emergence of a fictitious presidential candidate, Nurhadi and Aldo, in the internet, potentially becomes the breaker of society’s polarization, as well as a media to criticize the government and some political elites. This research is talking about 1) the aims behind the emergence of Nurhadi & Aldo as alternative candidates in the presidential election, and 2) the strategies of Nurhadi & Aldo to get those aims through the perspective of semantics and critical hypothesis analysis. The data of this qualitative study are collected from the instagram account of @nurhadi_aldo and some of its derivative accounts. The result of the study shows that the purposes or aims behind the emergence of Nurhadi & Aldo as fictitious presidential candidates are 1) the medium of critics towards the government and some political elites, 2) the mode of political education through politics of leisure, and 3) the suggestion for the society to put national unity first, in the middle of societal polarizations. To get those aims, the accounts are using strategies such as 1) the usage of figures of speech, such as comparison, satire, contradiction, and affirmation, 2) the usage of polysemy , 3) the usage of sylogism, and 4) the usage of abbreviations.
