Abstract

Research shows that oral literature contains ethical values and local wisdom. However, the existence of oral literature is getting weaker with the changing of the era. Therefore, to strengthen national identity, oral literature needs to be revived. The main goal is to improve the character of the young generation which is the Z generation. Efforts that need to be done is mediatization of oral literature and integrate oral literature into the college curriculum. The mediatization of oral literature needs to involve digital media, as well as in its dissemination it requires social media. Meanwhile, integration into the college curriculum can be done by insert to the Indonesian language course.

Abstract

Reinterpretasi Nasionalisme dengan Pendekatan Teori Matriks. Penelitian ini berupaya menginterpretasikan ulang dan mendefinisikan kembali konsep nasionalisme dengan menggunakan pendekatan metode Teori Matriks. Mengingat perubahan pola kehidupan masyarakat, upaya reinterpretasi makna nasionalisme menjadi penting untuk menjaga pemahaman kolektif terhadap salah satu unsur utama persatuan bangsa. Pemilihan metode Teori Matriks, yang merupakan salah satu model penelitian kualitatif, disebabkan telah banyak tokoh yang mendefinisikan nasionalisme dengan berbagai perspektif. Dismping itu, metode ini dipilih karena berguna untuk mengefisiensikan teori atau definisi yang beragam, multi makna, dan abstrak; untuk menghindarkan pameran atau parade definisi yang tidak terlalu relevan. Hasil dari penelitian ini berupa hasil interpretasi atau pemaknaan atas konsep nasionalisme yang lebih sesuai dengan perkembangan jaman saat ini.

Abstract

Esai ini adalah ringkasan dari sebuah diskusi yang membahas mengenai sejauh apa manfaat bantuan kuota internet untuk pendidikan yang dilakukan pada tanggal 16 november 2020 dengan total sepuluh peserta. Peserta mewakili beberapa golongan dari penerima pemberian bantuan kuota internet yaitu dosen & guru, mahasiswa dan siswa, dan orang tua siswa. Diskusi tersebut menghasilkan tiga hal terkait area penelitian, saran untuk pendidik dan institusi pendidikan, dan desain sosialisasi bantuan. Area penelitian tersebut adalah proses pembelajaran jarak jauh yang terjadi di Indonesia, perilaku pelajar terhadap teknologi, kondisi pendukung pembelajaran jarak jauh, dan kepentingan berkaitan dengan akses kuota internet yang perlu dibatasi atau tidak, dan bagaimana pembatasannya jika bantuan tersebut perlu dibatasi. Selain itu, dikumpulkan juga saran-saran yang dapat dilakukan pendidik dan institusi pendidikan yaitu: mengetahui kondisi siswa, mendesain proses belajar mengajar sesuai dengan kondisi siswa, dan khusus untuk anak yang belum dewasa dibutuhkan keterlibatan orang tua dalam mendesain pembelajaran. Satu hal yang tampak terlihat disorot oleh peserta diskusi adalah kekurangtahuan peserta diskusi mengenai adanya informasi yang lengkap mengenai bantuan kuota internet untuk pendidikan.

Abstract

The emergence of a fictitious presidential candidate, Nurhadi and Aldo, in the internet, potentially becomes the breaker of society’s polarization, as well as a media to criticize the government and some political elites. This research is talking about 1) the aims behind the emergence of Nurhadi & Aldo as alternative candidates in the presidential election, and 2) the strategies of Nurhadi & Aldo to get those aims through the perspective of semantics and critical hypothesis analysis. The data of this qualitative study are collected from the instagram account of @nurhadi_aldo and some of its derivative accounts. The result of the study shows that the purposes or aims behind the emergence of Nurhadi & Aldo as fictitious presidential candidates are 1) the medium of critics towards the government and some political elites, 2) the mode of political education through politics of leisure, and 3) the suggestion for the society to put national unity first, in the middle of societal polarizations. To get those aims, the accounts are using strategies such as 1) the usage of figures of speech, such as comparison, satire, contradiction, and affirmation, 2) the usage of polysemy , 3) the usage of sylogism, and 4) the usage of abbreviations.

Abstract

Semantics Corruption Prototype: Cognitive Linguistic Study. Semantic Prototype Corruption: Cognitive Linguistics Review. This study aims to define corruption through prototype theory in cognitive linguistics. The research is designed through a qualitative-quantitative approach with Tomaszczyk (2007) prototype theory. The results of the study indicate that the most corrupt variables affecting the degree of corruption are (1) 'unlawful rewards' and (2) 'abuse of authority', while (3) 'knowing that it is corruption' and (4) 'corrupt intent' no effect. Based on the background of respondents there is no difference in the degree of degree of corruption.

Abstract

SMKN 6 Malang is one of the Vocational Schools in Malang City. To facilitate the process of implementing street vendors, SMKN 6 Malang has a website called "MasterWeb". The "MasterWeb" site in its implementation is still not optimal. This is based on observation, interviews, and initial testing conducted on students of SMKN 6 Malang. This study aims to determine the results of a comparison of the usability of the "MasterWeb" site with the usability results of the redesign of the "SEPKL" site. This research was conducted by redesigning the street vendor site user interface using the Goal Directed Design (GDD) method. Design with the GDD method will directly involve users and stakeholders so that the design results are more appropriate. In the initial testing phase, testing was carried out using the interview method and the System Usability Scale (SUS) questionnaire to determine whether the "MasterWeb" site really requires a redesign, what problems exist, and determine what is the best solution to solve these problems from the user's point of view. In the initial test using SUS, the final value was 57.75. After the interface design is complete, a final test is carried out using Usability Testing and the System Usability Scale. In testing the Usability Testing Effectiveness aspect, the final score was 87.5 and the Efficiency Aspect was 0.197 goal/sec. While on the satisfaction aspect, the Questionnaire System Usability Scale was used and the final score obtained was 82.75.

Abstract

SMA Negeri 7 Kota Bekasi created a school website to maximize the use of technology in the digital era to provide services and information for students and the public during the covid-19 pandemic. The website is considered imperfect and less well known by the public. Users find it difficult to use the website because there is no search feature, some features are not working, also inconsistent user interface. Therefore it is necessary to carry out an usability evaluation using the HCD method, usability testing and the SUS questionnaire. Usability testing is carried out to get three assessment metrics,that are effectiveness, efficiency, and satisfaction. This test involved nine participants who were divided into three groups, that are potential students, students, and public. The first test was done on the website, resulting in effectiveness metric of 42.2%, efficiency metric of 0.014 goals/sec and satisfaction metrics by using the SUS questionnaire obtained a score of 42 where the score in the interpretation of SUS are ‘not acceptable' in acceptability category, grade 'F' and 'OK' rating. The second test was done on the prototype, resulting in effectiveness metric os 64.4%, efficiency metric 0.03 goals/sec and satisfaction metric obtained a SUS score of 73 where the score in the interpretation of SUS are ‘acceptable' in acceptability category, grade 'C' and 'Good' rating.

Abstract

The improvement of Fallout 4 game interface design with user created mods using human centered design approach. The problem to be solved is how the efficiency and effectiveness of the Fallout 4 game interface in initial and final conditions with the obtained comparison value of efficiency (initial: default, final: modified with user-created content). The aim is to explain the improvement of time efficiency in exploring the interface in the Fallout 4 game using usability testing using an interface that has been modified based on Human Centered Design. The working conclusion is that there is a difference in the feeling obtained from the data analysis. The efficiency test value shows that the use of the modified interface is more efficient than the unmodified interface. This indicates that the improvements made to the interface are effective in increasing usability and ease of use for users.

Abstract

Berdasarkan permasalahan yang diangkat rata-rata siswa di SMKN 7 Malang masih menggunakan pembelajaran konvensional dengan bantuan PowerPoint dan menjadikan siswa merasa bosan saat proses pembelajaran. Berdasarkan permasalahan maka perlu dilakukan penelitian pengaruh implementasi metode peta konsep yang dapat dilihat dari penelitian terdahulu dan diskusi dengan guru. Metode penelitian yang akan diterapkan yaitu Weak Eksperimental Static-Group Pretest-Posttest, dengan memerlukan dua kelompok kelas. Data yang sudah dikumpulkan dalam ranah kognitif siswa akan diuji dengan uji statistik deskriptif, uji normalitas (Shapiro-Wilk), uji homogenitas (Levene), dan uji hipotesis (Wilcoxon-Signed Rank Test dan Mann-Whitney). Berlandaskan dari uji hipotesis menggunakan Wilcoxon pada kelompok eksperimen menghasilkan nilai signifikansi sebesar 0,001 maka dinyatakan terdapat beda antara nilai pre-test ke post-test dan pengujian Mann-Whitney menghasilkan nilai signifikansi 0,263 maka dinyatakan tidak ada beda antara Post-test kelompok kontrol dan Post-test kelompok eksperimen sehingga hipotesis berhasil diterima. Hasil dari semua pengujian yang telah dilaksanakan bisa diartikan bahwa implementasi metode pembelajaran peta konsep tidak mempengaruhi hasil belajar siswa.
