Abstract

Group activity therapy (GAT) is a nursing modality therapy aimed at groups of clients with similar problems. Activities are used as therapy, and groups are used as targets of care. Improving nurses' ability to implement TAK can be obtained through formal education or continuing nursing education. The study aims to determine the relationship between knowledge, attitudes, and actions of nurses with the implementation of group activity therapy in hallucination clients. group activity therapy on auditory hallucination clients. The research method used quantitative analytical research. Samples were taken using purposive sampling technique, namely nurses who served in the inpatient room at the Mental Hospital in Palembang City. 30 people were sampled. In this study, it was found that there was a relationship between nurses' knowledge and the implementation of GAT, this was in accordance with the chi square test with p (0.047) < ? (0.05), and there was also a relationship between nurses' attitudes and the implementation of GAT based on the chi square test with p (0.023) < ? (0.05). In addition, it was also found that there was a relationship between nurse actions and the implementation of GAT based on the chi square test p (0.011) < ? (0.05).

Abstract

Human Immunodeficiency Virus (HIV) is a virus that attacks the human immune system, where the population increases every year around the world. Therapy to help inhibit the development of the virus in HIV sufferers is antiretroviral drugs (ARVs). This ARV consumption will be carried out in the long term, even throughout his life. So it is necessary to have HIV patient compliance in taking ARVs. One source of stimulus for adherence in taking medication is family support so that the quality of life of HIV sufferers is better. The purpose of this study was to find out whether the family is a source of support for HIV sufferers for adherence to taking ARV medication. This research is a type of quantitative research that uses an analytic survey method with a cross-sectional research design with a total of 32 respondents living with HIV and the results of the study were analyzed using the Kendall Tau statistical test. The results of the study from 32 respondents, there were 16 people (50.0%) with a high category of family support. The results of Kendall Tau's statistical test analysis found that there was no significant relationship between family support and adherence to taking ARV medication with a p-value = 0.347. It is hoped that people with HIV can increase their adherence to taking ARV drugs and be more open to their families so they can receive other forms of support from their families.

Abstract

Red blood cell counts are mostly laboratory tests. The pre-analysis step is subject to errors, especially homogenization. The homogenization technique used in the lab is the inversion technique. According to CLSI and BD Vacutainer, homogenizing is achieved by inverting the tube 8-10 times and by PerMenKes No. 43 up to 10-12 times. The EDTA blood is stored in the tube, if it is allowed to stand, a deposition process will occur, namely rouleaux, sedimentation, and compaction so that the results of the examination obtained are incorrect. Secondary homogenization is performed to ensure correct examination results. The purpose of this study is to determine if there is a difference in red blood cells in the secondary homogenized blood using inversion techniques four and eight times. The research was pre-experimental, with a Static group comparison design. The K2EDTA blood was 30 samples, which were secondarily homogenized by inversion technique 4 times and 8 times, after being allowed to be held for 30 minutes. Data analysis using Wicoxon test. The probability value of the Wilcoxon test was 0.000 <0.05. These results show that there are differences in erythrocyte count in the secondary homogenized blood 4 times and 8 times. Factors that may cause differences are imperfect deposit and homogenization. When blood is allowed to stand, there is a deposition process, which involves 3 steps, namely, rouleaux, sedimentation, and compaction, erythrocytes are at the bottom of the tube. Secondary homogenization 4 times, is not sufficient to completely homogenize, thus affecting the results of the red blood cell count examination. There are differences in red blood count in homogenized secondary blood 4 times and 8 times

Abstract

Use value of medical records is an aspect contained in the use of medical records. The behavior of filling out a medical record is a person's action in filling out a complete medical record. The medical record is filled in completely so that the information presented is in accordance with what is in the medical record. One way to improve the behavior of filling out medical records so that they are complete is to increase knowledge of the use value of medical records. The aim of the study was to analyze the relationship between knowledge of the use value of medical records and the behavior of filling out medical records by nurses at Elisabeth Hospital. The research method used is analytic research using a cross-sectional design. Statistical test using chi-square test. The research population of inpatient nurses was 150 nurses and the research sample was 58 respondents. The results of the study showed that 35 people (60.3%) had knowledge in the high category, 30 people (51.7%) filled out medical record behavior in the good category. The results of the Chis-square test obtained a p-value of 0.002 (p <0.05) indicating that there is a significant relationship between knowledge of the use value of medical records and the behavior of filling out medical records. It is hoped that from the results obtained by medical workers at Santa Elisabeth Hospital Medan that knowledge can be increased again so that the behavior of filling out medical records in terms of medical record completeness can be even better

The World Health Organization (WHO) in 2018 showed that around 1.13 billion people in the world suffer from hypertension. This means that 1 in 3 people in the world are diagnosed with hypertension. The method used in this study used a pre-experimental design. The population in this study were all Prolanis participants in a total of 90 participants. The sample of this research is Accidental Sampling consisting of 25 respondents. Univariate Analysis Statistical results showed that the average knowledge before counseling was 5.76 and after counseling 7.9. Means the difference in knowledge about hypertension before and after counseling is 2.2. Statistical test results obtained p value 0.000. This means that there is a difference in the average value of knowledge about hypertension before and after counseling is carried out. The conclusion in this study is that there are differences in the knowledge of respondents before and after being given counseling about hypertension at the Tanjung Baru Health Center in 2022

Abstract

The World Health Organization together with the Government have declared Covid-19 as a Global Pandemic and declared Corona Virus Disease 2019 (Covid-19) as a health emergency. In an effort to prevent the spread of the Covid-19 virus, the Indonesian government has vaccinated all elements of society. In the implementation process, there are still many people who do not dare to vaccinate because of massive hoaxes spread on social media. This study aims to determine the analysis of the implementation of booster vaccination at the Tanjung Pinang Health Center Jambi City in 2022. It was carried out in June 2022. This study was quantitative with a cross sectional design, the population of this study was the entire community at the Tanjung Pinang Health Center totaling 96 samples. Data collection and retrieval using a questionnaire. The results of statistical test analysis using Chi-Square statistical tests and multiple logistic regression where the results showed there was a significant relationship (p value <0.05) for the variables age (0.021), gender (0.029), motivation (0.000), vaccine availability (0.003 ), and community participation (0.000). There is no relationship between the variables of education (0.503), occupation (0.240), and support for health workers (0.251). From the results of multivariate statistical tests, it was found that the dominant factor in implementing booster vaccination was community participation (p= 0.004; OR= 6.089). It is recommended to pay attention to community participation in the implementation of booster vaccination activities involving religious leaders, community leaders and local traditional leaders.
