PT XYZ received an offer of toll manufacturing services from its client as much as 360 units at a price of Rp14.000 for four years. To be able to fulfill the offer, the company must issue an investment of Rp1,3 billion for the plant expansion regarding to the limited capacity and specificity of the engine that must be purchased separately. There is also some additional operational cost for the company. Based on the analysis of costvolume-profit (CVP) the company realized that the price offered is far below the desired corporate profit by 27% so that the new price agreed upon in the negotiation is Rp16.000. Meanwhile, using the price agreement and macroeconomic assumption for the next four years, the company can finally concluded to accept the offer of its client with a value weighted NPV up to Rp306, 5 million based on the incremental analysis.

Datawarehouse as a business decision support tool for sales data analysis functions to assist the sales department in making daily decisions. PT XYZ often experiences problems in analyzing its sales data, such as can not identify the highest sales areas and the total highest number of sales. The purpose of this study is to analyze and design a decision support tool which is appropriate to the needs of the sales of PT.XYZ. The design of systems uses object-oriented approach while database design uses data warehouse method. Any result obtained from this study is a design a data warehouse that can be used to assist the sales department to create sales decisions everyday. The designed decision-making system based on data warehouse can help the sales department in their daily activities.

This research examined factors that influenced lender’s trust towards the borrower. The peerto-peer lending platform facilitated lending mechanism between lender and borrower. However, the loan was often considered as an unsecured loan, since there was a lack of traditional financial data. Using literature review, this research analyzed the determinant factor to establish trust between borrower and lender. Based on Elaboration Likelihood Model (ELM), the result of this research proposes a model for trust building between lender and borrower. The model categorizes information to establish trust into hard information, soft information, and social capital.

Data warehouse and data mining is used to extract useful information and has a specific meaning and to develop a real relationship between some variables stored in the data/data warehouse. A data warehouse is appropriately designed and added a requirement to provide appropriate data and is useful in making better decisions. Hardware and software facilitate adequate access to such data, analyze and display the results interactively. Data mining software is a highly effective tool that can be used to interrogate the data contained in the data warehouse in order to find a relationship (Neary 1999). This study conducts some literature studies applies some models and case studies in a higher education institution, in terms of the benefits, functions and development. The case study conducted is objected to see the trend and prediction of the number of students who drop out (DO).

Decision making is a process of choosing an alternative action used for a specific purpose or goal that has been set. Managerial decision-making involves data and information from entire business process. Data and information are procesesed to support decision-making. The purpose of this paper is to get a statement of goals, problems and data of the UKM Gerak Tani. The Method to be used is inteliggence phase which is the first stage of the four stages of decision making according to Herbert A Simon. It includes several activities aimed to identify problem situations or opportunities such as finding the problem classification, problem decompositionand problem ownership. The expected results of this research are the purpose documentation of the organization, searching and scanning procedures, data collection, identification of issues, ownership issues, classification issues and problem statement.

An architectural design process is a process to design an architectural form involving a lot of aspects such as scale, spaces, functions, time and material. The ultimate objective is to create a complete design into a visual media to be presented and actualized in a physical form on a certain site or location. Physical and digital models are media that can be used to visualize an architecture design process from the conceptual step to the final design. Both media have important aspects in design process, as well as able to give design solutions. This article explains the use of physical and digital models with their own characteristics in architectural design process; observes any information from a physical model that can be used and transferred to a digital one; and provides some information about when the physical model and digital model should be used best during the architectural design process.

This study aims to discuss some of considerations in education to achieve good quality in learning instruction. The indicator is student’s comprehension increasing through the use of technological advances such as electronic learning (E-Learning) on social media and using Community of Inquiry (CoI) model as a comparative study to improve the quality of E-Learning program. The data used in this study were obtained through survey to intended students and literature study. Final conclusion of this study is a proposal to teachers on an interactive learning and rich of knowledge that will improve the learner’s comprehension.

The purpose of this study was to analyze the needs and customer satisfaction in service advertising and design an attractive site customer satisfaction, user friendly and dynamic. Ways to do research using analytical method, data collection method, and design method. The collection of data and information were done through a field research. The results obtained from this research is the design of e-CRM applications (Electronic Customer Relationship Management) which aims to produce an interactive Internet-based applications for any strategy to enhance relationships with existing customers, increase new customers and increase profits from the sale. In addition, companies can thrive in providing quality service to our customers, which in turn can increase its profit. The conclusion of this research is to create a dynamic website, which is useful for providing better services to consumers, thus increasing profits for customers and companies.

Databases to manage data related to student and school are required to support the implemented information technology applications. This study aims to analyze and design a database system that supports the school management information systems, especially for SMA 78 Jakarta as a case study. Included in the system are the students and teachers data management, the management of school tuition, and the management of learning materials and assignments for students. This research uses data collection methods, with a literature study, questionnaires, interviews, observation, and studying the data obtained from the school. Analyses were performed on the results of questionnaires, interviews and observations to identify user needs. The design used conceptual and logical database system design. The result achieved is the application for school management information system that can be used by students, teachers and school officials in supporting learning process and school administration. The developed application is expected to be a medium for students and teachers to share information in teaching and learning activities and administrative processes.

A company that manufactures finished goods often faces a shortage of raw materials, due to the determination of the quantity of raw material ordering improper because it is done by intuition and the lack of raw material inventory reserves. This resulted in costs because inefficient production processes are inhibited or had to perform an emergency procurement of raw materials to meet customer orders. The company seeks to use the method in determining the order quantity of raw material, comprising the steps of (1) collecting historical data of raw material use, step (2) forecasting needs raw materials, step (3) calculating the order quantity forecasting based on the data by comparing the deterministic method and probabilistic methods. Calculating safety stock for each raw material is done so as to cope with the situation outside of normal conditions, such a surge in orders. In its design, the system will be developed using the Unified Modeling Language modeling language (UML) on the basis of the concept of object-oriented analysis and design (Object Oriented Analysis and Design). With the proposed implementation of the information system, the company can estimate the need for raw materials more quickly and accurately, and can determine the order quantity that is tailored to the needs. So that the costs associated with ordering and storage of raw materials can be minimized.
