Abstract

AbstractSasak ethnic community have a unique addressingcalling system. It does not only consist of a name given by parents. They also have a new name after getting married and another name as a nick name given by others in the society. The nick name was given based on subjective assessments by others. It has to fully understand Sasak ethnic social context to compose a nick name. Some of the personal addressing system have linguistic patterns but some other are arbitrary. This paper uses descriptive qualitative method. Data were collected via interviews and recordings in different locations based on Sasak dialectal spread. The names are slightly different from its original form through phonological change called paragog, prothesis, epenthesis, mixing, and arbitrary.AbstrakMasyarakat Sasak memiliki sistem panggilan yang unik. Sistem panggilan dalam masyarakat Sasak tidak hanya menggunakan nama diri yang diberikan oleh orang tua, tetapi juga perubahan nama karena status perkawinan dan nama panggilan pemberian orang lain atau masyarakat sekitarnya. Pemberian nama terakhir sebagai panggilan diberikan berdasarkan pandangan seseorang atau masyarakat secara subjektif. Penggunaan nama sebagai sistem panggilan harus memahami konteks sosial etnis Sasak. Nama panggilan ini ada yang dapat ditelusuri polanya secara kebahasaan dan ada juga yang arbitrer (manasuka). Metode deskriptif kualitatif digunakan untuk melakukan kajian ini. Data dikumpulkan menggunakan metode wawancara dan rekam di beberapa daerah pengamatan dengan mempertimbangkan sebaran dialektal bahasa Sasak. Nama panggilan yang ditemukan mengalami perubahan bunyi dari bentuk aslinya. Perubahan bunyi yang terjadi berbentuk paragog, protesis, epentesis, campuran, dan arbitrer.

Abstract

This study aims to describe and explain the urgency of Heutagogy in learning to write drama scripts at the University Peradaban. This research is a case study with a sample of second semester students of PBI (Indonesian Language Education) FKIP (Faculty of Teacher Training and Education), University Peradaban. This study uses technical and source triangulation to triangulate data. The results showed that heutagogy in drama script writing using local wisdom was able to improve (a) critical thinking, (b) independence, (c) communication, and (d) lifelong learning. In addition, the successful application of drama script writing based on local wisdom is carried out through a process of desire, ability, means, and need.

Abstract

Penelitian ini mengkaji variasi linguistik bahasa Sunda dialek Kabupaten Ciamis, Jawa Barat-Indonesia dalam perspektif dialektologi perseptual. Pendekatan yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini terdiri atas dua, yaitu pendekatan teoretis dan pendekatan metodologis. Secara teoretis, pendekatan yang digunakan di dalam penelitian ini adalah dialektologi perseptual. Adapun secara metodologis, penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kombinasi (metode penelitian gabungan). Pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan participant observe atau pengamatan berperan serta dengan introspeksi, wawancara mendalam, dan telaah dokumen. Penelitian ini dilakukan di Kabupaten Ciamis dengan memilih lima kecamatan sebagai daerah pengamatan yang ditentukan berdasarkan arah mata angin, yaitu Kecamatan Sindangkasih, Kecamatan Sukamantri, Kecamatan Lakbok, Kecamatan Banjarsari, dan Kecamatan Pamarican. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: di Kabupaten Ciamis terdapat persebaran subdialek dari bahasa Sunda berdasarkan persepsi masyarakat tutur terhadap sebaran subdialek tersebut; Pemetaan bahasa Sunda dialek Ciamis berdasarkan persepsi masyarakat tutur di Kabupaten Ciamis, Jawa Barat-Indonesia dapat diklasifikasikan menjadi tiga subdialek utama berdasarkan persebaran dialektalnya, yaitu subdialek bahasa Sunda Ciamis Barat, subdialek bahasa Sunda Ciamis Timur - Tengah, dan subdialek bahasa Sunda Ciamis Tenggara.Kata Kunci: dialektologi perseptual, variasi linguistik, bahasa Sunda, Ciamis.

Abstract

AbstractThis study aims to determine the speaking ability of children with autism in communication. The method used is descriptive qualitative with data collection techniques, observation, interviews, and documentation that occurred in the field with the conversation recording technique. The data obtained by the researcher were then analyzed using Scovel's theory of the four stages of language production by humans during communication, conceptualization, formulation, articulation, and self-monitoring. From the data that has been analyzed, it is found that R's speaking ability can be said to be good, because of the four stages of language production, R is able to pass 3 stages well, first is conceptualizing the utterance he will say, also being able to respond to questions and words from people around him, then pronunciation of R in speaks quite well even though using a dialect of English, and R is able to find out mistakes in pronunciation with the help of people around him.

Abstract

Abstract : This study aims at investigating Tempo Media’s political stance representation toward KPK in the notion whether Tempo Media support the revision of KPK laws and the election of the new Head of KPK, or in contrast, oppose them in the news they posted in their instagram account, ‘tempodotco’, during 28-30 September 2020.  To reveal the stance, the writer uses attitudinal approach in the appraisal framework as well as analyzing linguistic features that represent stance. Further, this study applied descriptive qualitative methods. The result suggests that grammatical and lexical choices are essential in articulating stance. In addition, this study shows the high use of negative judgment and negative appreciation to evaluate the stance object. In contrast, the affect attitude is barely found in this study. At the end, the overall result yields that Tempo Media opposes both the revision of KPK law and the election of new Head of KPK.

Abstract

 AbstractThis study reveals the status of Javanese language isolates in Wedi Subdistrict, Klaten Regency which is influenced by the Jogjakarta and Surakarta isolates. This research is quantitative descriptive type. The data source in this study is the community of Wedi Subdistrict, Klaten Regency. The data source of this study consisted of 15 points of observation area (villages) determined through the dialectometry triangle. The data of this study are speech by the people of Wedi Subdistrict, Klaten Regency. The data collection in this study used the listening and competent methods. The listening method is equipped with the note taking and tapping technique, while the proficient method is equipped with a fishing line, an advance technique, and a record. The data analysis of this research uses the method of mutual understanding, dialectometry method, permutation method and isoglos file. Based on the analysis found isolate status in the form of different vocabulary, different speech, different sub-dialects and different dialects. This shows that the diversity of languages in the form of typical isolates is still found. The results of this study also prove that Jogja and Solo dialects have a diversity of isolates as portraits and evidence of diversity in language diversity.Keywords: Isolek, Jogja-Solo Dialect, status of language  AbstrakPenelitian ini menguak status isolek bahasa Jawa di Kecamatan Wedi, Kabupaten Klaten yang dipengaruhi isolek Jogjakarta dan Surakarta. Penelitian ini berjenis deskriptif kuantitatif. Sumber data pada penelitian ini merupakan masyarakat Kecamatan Wedi, Kabupaten Klaten. Sumber data penelitian ini terdiri dari 15 titik daerah pengamatan (desa) yang ditentukan melalui segitiga dialektometri. Data penelitian ini merupakan tuturan masyaraat Kecamatan Wedi, Kabupaten Klaten. Pengumpulan data penelitian ini menggunakan metode simak dan cakap. Metode simak dilengkapi dengan teknik catat dan sadap, sedangkan metode cakap dilengkapi dengan teknik pancing, teknik semuka, dan rekam. Analisis data penelitian ini menggunakan metode pemahaman timbal balik, metode dialektometri, metode permutasi dan berkas isoglos. Berdasarkan analisis ditemukan status isolek berupa beda kosakata, beda wicara, beda subdialek dan beda dialek. Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa keragaman bahasa berupa isolek yang khas masih ditemukan. Hasil penelitian ini juga membuktikan bahwa dialek Jogja dan Solo memiliki keragaman isolek sebagai potret dan bukti diversitaas kebhinekaan bahasa.Kata Kunci: Isolek, Dialek Jogja-Solo, status kebahasaan
