I Made Saka Wijaya, Budi Setiadi Daryono & Purnomo. 2018. Variasi Morfologi Anggrek Tanah Thelymitra javanica Blume (Orchidaceae: Orchidoideae) di G. Arjuno, G. Lawu dan G. Sumbing, Jawa-Indonesia. Floribunda 6(1): 22–31. — Tujuan kajian ini adalah untuk mengetahui variasi morfologi dan kekerabatan fenetik dari T. javanica dari ketiga gunung tersebut. Tiga belas sampel dikoleksi dari sepanjang jalur pendakian. Pengamatan morfologi dilakukan terhadap organ akar, umbi, daun, tangkai perbungaan, braktea, bunga, buah dan biji. Dendrogram dibangun dengan metoda kluster UPGMA dengan algoritma “Percent’s Similarity”. Sedangkan analisis PCA dilakukan dengan algoritma “Euclidean Distance” menggunakan perangkat lunak MVSP v.3.1. Hasil studi menunjukkan bahwa variasi morfologi jenis T. javanica tergolong plastis dalam hal ukuran dan warna, terutama warna tangkai perbungaan, mahkota, labelum, ovarium dan rangka ovarium, yang dapat digunakan untuk membedakan populasi atau ekotipe.Kata kunci: Ekotipe, Orchidaceae, fenetik, plastisitas, Thelymitra javanica. I Made Saka Wijaya, Budi Setiadi Daryono & Purnomo. 2018. Morphological Variations of Terrestrial Orchid Thelymitra javanica Blume (Orchidaceae: Orchidoideae) in Mount Arjuno, Lawu, and Sumbing, Java- Indonesia. Floribunda 6(1): 22–31. — The aims of this study were to observe morphological variations and phenetic relationships of T. javanica from the three mountains. Thirteen samples were colected along the tracking routes, morphological observation was based on character of root, tuber, leaf, peduncle, floral bract, flower, fruit, and seed. The data were compile descriptively to identify variations that subsequently scored. Dendrogram were constructed by UPGMA clastering method with Percent’s Similarity algorithm, while Principal Component Analysis was done with Euclidean Distance algorithm using MVSP v.3.1. software. The result shows that morphological variations of T. javanica is found to be plastis for size and color, especially color of peduncle, petals, labellum, ovary, and ovary ribs that can be used to separate distinct population or ecotype.Keywords: Ecotype, Orchidaceae, phenetic, plasticity, Thelymitra javanica

Abstract

Flora of Java does not clearly mention Citrus species in Madura. Since it was published in 1965, there are no review on Citrus of Madura. This research was undertaken to provide an updated information on Citrus of Madura. Plant explorations were conducted in Bangkalan, Sampang, Pamekasan and Sumenep districs. a Total of ten species of Citrus were obtained. One of them, C. × floridana (J. Ingram & H. Moore) Mabb., is a new record for Java and Madura.

Floribunda 6(1): 19–21. — Jumlah jenis Rhododendron di Indonesia dilaporkan sebanyak 229 jenis. Satu jenis Rhododendron dari Lembah Baliem, Indonesia yang sebelumnya diidentifikasi sebagai Rhododendron beyerinckianum Koord. telah diidentifikasi sebagai Rhododendron gumineense Craven, berdasarkan bentuk daun dan tangkai putik. Sehingga menambah jumlah jenis Rhododendron di Indonesia menjadi 230.Kata Kunci: Indonesia, Lembah Baliem, Rekaman baru, Rhododendron. Yasper Michael Mambrasar. 2018. Rhododendron gumineense Craven (Ericaceae, Subgenus Vireya), a new record for Indonesia. Floribunda 6(1): 19–21. — The number of Rhododendron species in Indonesia was reported as 229 species. A specimen of Rhododendron from the Baliem valley, Indonesia previously identified as Rhododendron beyerinckianum Koord. has been identified as Rhododendron gumineense Craven, based on leaf shape and style morphology. This increases the number of Rhododendrons in Indonesia to 230 species.Keywords: Indonesia, Baliem valley, New record, Rhododendron.

Abstract

Knowledge of Sulawesi’s flora including bananas is rather poor due to lack of botanical exploration in this area. Exploration to assess the diversity of bananas in Mount Watuwila and adjacent areas has been done. Two intraspecific taxa of wild banana species (Musa acuminata var. tomentosa and M. acuminata ssp. banksii) and twelve banana cultivars occur in these area. Musa acuminata Colla var. tomentosa is an endemic variety of wild banana species in Sulawesi. Variation on some characters found in M. acuminata var. tomentosa. Some of the banana cultivars are members of M. acuminata triploid AAA, M. balbisiana triploid BBB, and Musa x paradisiaca triploid AAB.

Abstract

Siti Ifadatin& Elvi Rusmiyanto PW. 2006. Genetic Diversity of Local Rice from West KalimantanBased on Isozyme Markers. Floribunda 3(2): 38-43.- A study on the genetic diversity has been conducted on eight cultivars of the local rice from West Kalimantan, namely Pulut Hitam, Pulut Melor, Pulut Sangai, Ringkak Serandah, Kak Cundong, Belait, Remunai and Payah Temakan. Isozyme analysis by using three Esterase Enzyme System (EST), malic dehydrogenase (MDH) and peroxidase (PER) resulted in 13 loci where 9 loci (69%) of them are polymorphic loci. Of the Esterase Enzyme System (EST), there were 2 band patterns (EST1 and EST2), in malic dehydrogenase enzyme system (MDH) there were 4 band patterns, while in the system of peroxidase (PER) there were 8 enzyme band patterns. In the analysis with three enzyme systems, there was no band pattern which is specific for a certain cultivar, so that they can be distinguished one and the other. The result of the clustering analysis on 8 local rice cultivars fromWest Kalimantan showed that all of the 8 cultivars were grouped into one group with similarity level 66%. The genetic similarity and the phylogeny of the rice could not be separated based on the origin. The result of this cluster analysis showed  a tendency that Padi Pulut became one group which is different from non Padi Pulut.
