Abstract

Masalah penelitian ini (1) Bagaimanakah karakteristik kesantunan tindak tutur siswa SD kelas VI Semester 1 di wilayah subkultur Jawa-Negarigung?; (2) Bagaimanakah pengembangan draf buku pelajaran Bahasa Indonesia berdasarkan kesantunan berbahasa subkultur Negarigung yang dibutuhkan siswa SD kelas VI Semester 1?; dan (3) Bagaimanakah kelayakan produk penelitian ini sebagai buku pelajaran Bahasa Indonesia SD kelas VI Semester 1? Pendekatan yang digunakan adalah penelitian dan pengembangan model Borg dan Gall. Data diperoleh dari tiga SD di Kota Salatiga dan Kab. Magelang dengan menggunakan angket sedangkan teknik analisisnya menggu-nakan teknik analisis kualitatif persentase. Data penilaian kelayakan produk diperoleh dari dua ahlidan seorang guru dengan teknik angket dan wawancara. Dari analisis data diketahui tindak tutur siswa SD di wilayah subkultur Jawa-Negarigung berderajat santun dan kurang santun. Para siswa dan guru terbukti sangat membutuhkan buku pelajaran Bahasa Indonesia berdasarkan kesantunan berbahasa, rerata skor kebutuhan 64,14 (siswa) dan 64,3 (guru). Disimpulkan pula, karakteristik buku pelajaran Bahasa Indonesia berdasarkan kesantunan berbahasa untuk SD kelas VI semester 1 meliputi karakteristik bagian pendahulu, isi, penyudah, dan bahasa. Berdasarkan penilaian pakar dan guru, produk penelitian ini baik dan layak untuk digunakan sebagai buku pelajaran Bahasa Indonesia. Dari hasil penelitian, disarankan pembelajaran Bahasa Indonesia menggunakan buku pelajaran yang memperhatikan kesantunan berbahasa dan penyusunan buku pelajaran Bahasa In-donesia untuk SD di wilayah subkultur Jawa-Negarigung menggunakan hasil penelitian ini sebagai panduan. Selain itu, roduk penelitian ini hendaknya dijadikan model pengembangan buku pelajaran Bahasa Indonesia SD untuk wilayah subkultur Jawa-Negarigung dan penggunaan produk penelitian ini dalam pembelajaran perlu diuji tingkat keefektifannya. The background of the research is nowadays, there are a lot of textbooks which do not pay attention on the poli-netess system. The writing of a book should actually concern on the politeness of the potential reader of the book. The problems in this research are as follow (1) What are the characteristics of poinetess system of sixth graders in Javanese-subculture region?; (2)How is the development of Indonesian language textbook draft base d on the Javanese subculture politeness system needed by sixth graders in the semester 1?; and (3)How is the  feasibility of the research product to be used as an Indonesian language textbook for Grade VI Elementary Schoolin the Semester 1? The approach used is Borg and Gall’s Research and Development. The data are collected from three elementary schools in Salatiga and Magelang Regency using questionnaires. Meanwhile, the data are analyzed using qualitative approach. The feasibility data is gained from two experts and a teacher using questionnaires and interview techniques. The analysis reveals that the degree of politeness of the students are both high and low. Students and teacher are both in need of Indonesian language textbook which contains politenesssystem, with the average score of 64.14% (students) and 64.30% (teachers). It can be concluded that the organization of Indonesian langauge textbook consists of introduction, body of the textbook, closing and the language used. The result of this research can be a guideline for further writing design of Indonesian language textbook based on the Javanese Subculture Politeness system for elementary school. Besides, the product of this reseach can be an Indonesian langauge textbook model for Javanese Subculture region. Additionally, the effectiveness of use of the research product should be also tested.

Abstract

Pembelajaran sastra khususnya apresiasi puisi masif bersifat kognitif dan tidak mendayagunakan bentuk-bentuk pembelajaran, serta kurang mendayagunakan karakteristik potensi yang dimiliki oleh siswa. Rumu-san masalah dalam penelitian ini adalah (1) gaya berpikir apa saja yang dimiliki oleh siswa yang diberi per-lakuan dengan analisis struktural dan analisis semiotik; (2) bagaimanakah perbedaan antara kemampuanapresiasi puisi pada siswa yang diberi perlakuan dengan analisis struktural dan analisis semiotik; (3) apakah pembelajaran apresiasi puisi dengan analisis semiotik lebih efektif dibandingkan dengan analisis struktural. Desain yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah penelitian eksperimen. Populasi penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas VII di SMP Negeri 3 Grabag, Kabupaten Magelang. Sampel eksperimen adalah 35 siswa di kelas VIIA dan 35 siswa di kelas VIIB. Hasil penelitian ini adalah siswa yang mengikuti pembelajaranapresiasi puisi dengan analisis struktural maupunn semiotik bergaya pikir sekuensial konkret, sekuensial ab-strak, acak konkret, dan acak abstrak. Kemampuan apresiasi puisi pun meningkat setelah siswa mengikuti pembelajaran apresiasi puisi dengan analisis struktural dan analisis semiotik. Namun secara keseluruhan lebih efektif digunakan analisis semiotik untuk pembelajaran apresiasi puisi. Simpulan penelitian ini adalah (1) gaya berpikir yang dimiliki oleh siswa yang diberi perlakuan dengan analisis struktural adalah31% bergaya pikir sekuensial konkret, 23% bergaya pikir sekuensial abstrak, 20% bergaya pikir acak konkret, 26% bergaya pikir acak abstrak, dan siswa yang diberi perlakuan dengan analisis semiotik adalah 20%bergaya pikir sekuensial konkret, 20% bergaya pikir sekuensial abstrak, 26% bergaya pikir acak konkret, 34% bergaya pikir acak abstrak, (2) ada perbedaan yang signifikan antara kemampuan apresiasi puisi pada siswa yang diberi perlakuan dengan analisis struktural dengan analisis semiotik, (3) pembelajaran apresiasi puisi dengan analisis semiotik lebih efektif meningkatkan kemampuan apresiasi puisi dibandingan dengan analisis struktural. One basic competency that should be achieved by seventh-grade students is an ability to appreciate poems. The problems formulated in this research were as follow. (1) What thinking styles could nature. with structural a nalyses as well as from those treated with semiotic analyses, (2) Were there significant differences in abilities to ap preciate poems between students treated with structural analyses and those treated with semiotic analyses, (3) Based on random sequential thin-king of the students, was semiotic analysis more effective than structural analysis for learning-teaching processes in poem appreciation for seventh-grade students.This research was experimental in nature. The population for this research consisted of seventh-grade students of Grabag SMP Negeri 3, Magelang Regency. The research samples consisted of 35 students from VIIA classroom and other 35 from VIIB classroom. Group of students with concrete-sequential thinking was most pronounced in VIIA classroom and had a 31% share of the total sub-sample. Group of studentswith random-abstract thinking was most pronounced in VIIB classroom and had a 34% share of this total sub-sample. Based on cross-tabulation between the two classrooms relating to the thinking styles and achievements of the  students, it can be found that the highest average grade achievement was achieved by the group of students with random-abstract thinking styles. Post-tests showed that students treated with concrete-sequential thinking treated with structural analyses were able to maximize their grade achievements in poem appreciation. Post-tests also showed that students withrandom-abstract thinking treated with semiotic analyses were able to maximize their grade achievements. The further  conclusion of this research was taken from the results of the paired-sample t-tests, showing that both structural and semiotic analyses were effective in improving the students in their abilities to appreciate poems. However, the semiotic analysis was better than the structural one. This second conclusion was supported by the third conclusion stating that based  on independent sample tests, semiotic analysis was more effective than structural analysis in improving seventh-grade students abilities to appreciate poems.

Abstract

Menulis karya ilmiah merupakan tuntutan formal akademik yang harus dipenuhi oleh ma-hasiswa. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah 1) mengidentifikasi kebutuhan pengembangan model inkuiri sosial pada pembelajaran menulis mahasiswa untuk menulis karya ilmiah, 2) mema-parkan karakteristik model inkuiri sosial pada pembelajaran menulis karya ilmiah 3) mengem-bangkan model inkuiri sosial yang dimodifikasi, 4) menentukan keefektifan model inkuiri sosial pada pembelajaran menulis karya ilmiah mahasiswa. Jenis penelitian adalah penelitian pengembangan yang diadopsi dari Borg dan Gall (1987). Ada tiga jenis instrumen yang di-gunakan yaitu angket kebutuhan, uji ahli dan tes. Hasil analisis data kebutuhan dosen dan mahasiswa menunjukan bahwa doesn dan mahasiswa sangat membutuhkan pengembangan model inkuiri sosial yang dimodifikasi untuk peningkatan kemampuan mahasiswa dalam menulis karya ilmiah. Hasil perhitungan SPSS two sample test menunjukan bahwa bahwa Sig. = 0.000, jika dibandingkan dengan α= 0.05 diperoleh Sig. < 0.05 sehingga berdasarkan kaidah keputusan maka terima Hαyang berarti skor nilai posttes secara signifikan lebih besar dari skor nilai pretes. Pengembangan model inkuiri sosial dapat dikatakan efektif. Dengan de-mikian model inkuiri soisal yang dimodifikasi dapat digunakan dalam proses pemebelajaran penulisan karya ilmiah. Oleh karena itu, dosen disarankan menerapkan model tersebut dalam proses pembelajaran menulis karya ilmiah. Writing scientific papers is a formal academic demand that must be fulfilled by the students. The purposes of this study were 1) to identify development needs in the social inquiry model of students’ scientific papers, 2) to describe the characteristics of the social inquiry model of students’ scientific papers, 3) to develop a modified model of social inquiry, 4) to determine the effectiveness of social inquiry model of students’ scientific papers. This type of research was an R&D adopted from Borg and Gall (1987). There were three types of instruments used; the needs of lecturer and student, the valuation expert and test. The results of data analysis to the needs of lecturers and students showed that both lecturers and stude nts need a modified developing social inquiry model to increase student skills in writing scientific papers. The two t tests sample showed that Sig. = 0000, if compared with α= 0.05 obtained by Sig. 0:05. Based on the minimum criteria, it achieves Hαmeans that the posttest score is better than pretest. The developing of social inquiry was effective therefore; the model can be used in teaching and learning scientificpaper.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan metode eksperimen. Kelompok eksperimen 1 diberi perlakuan dengan metode pembelajaran menabung kata dan kelompok eksperimen 2 diberi perlakuan dengan metode pembelajaran selusur (V-A-K-T). Hasil penelitian ini terdapat peningkatan keterampilan siswa dalam menulis permulaan setelah mendapatkan pembelajaran dengan per-lakuan metode menabung kata dan metode selusur (V-A-K-T). Ada perbedaan yang signifikan antara kelompok eksperimen 1 dengan kelompok eksperimen 2. Perbedaan ini ditunjukkan dengan tingkat signifikansi 0,014 dengan tingkat signifikansi di kelompok eksperimen 1, yaitu metode menabung kata. Didapat nilai rata-rata 87,86 dengan standar deviasi 10,71 apabila dibandingkan dengan kelompok eksperimen 2 dengan nilai rata-rata 79,82 dengan standar de-viasi 9,46 yaitu metode selusur(V-A-K-T). Metode pembelajaran menabung kata lebih efektif dibandingkan dengan metode selusur(V-A-K-T) dalam pembelajaran menulis permulaan di sekolah dasar. Metode menabung kata lebih efektif dalam pembelajaran menulis permulaan di sekolah dasar. Dengan demikian, penelitian ini menarik dikembangkan lebih lanjut un-tuk lingkup sekolah dasar yang lebih luas, sehingga keefektifan metode menabung kata akan membawa dampak positif bagi pembelajaran bahasa Indonesia pada umumnya dan menulis permulaan pada khususnya. This study uses an experimental research. The first experimental group is treated by saving word method and the second one is treated by rail (V-A-K-T) method. The research instruments were test item of early writing exercises and the students’ writing assessment as a data source. This study used quasi-experimen-tal design (pretest-posttest control group design). Two experimental groups are chosen in this design, then both given the pretest to determine the initial state, is there a difference between the first experimental groups and the second ones. The results of this study are raise of students’ skill in early writingexercises after being treated by saving word method and by rail (V-A-K-T) method. There were significant differ-ences between the experimental group 1 and group 2. This difference was shown by the level of significance of 0,014 with the obstained significance of experimental group 1, saving word method, gained mean 87,86 with deviation standard 10,71. If compared to group 2 with mean 79,82 with deviation standard 9,46; rail (V-A-K-T) method. The saving word method is more effective than rail (V-A-K-T) method in early writing exercises in elementary school. The saving word method is more effective in early writing exercises in elementary school. Thus, this study is attracted to develop further to the scope of thelarger primary schools, so that the effectiveness of saving word method will bring a positive impact on learning Bahasa Indonesia in general and early writing exercises in particular.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh adanya kemampuan menulis teks drama yang perlu dit-ingkatkan melalui pengembangan teknik pembelajaran yang dapat menyebabkan mahasiswa berpikir kritis dan kreatif. Masalah yang diteliti (1)bagaimana pengembangan teknik berpikir berpasangan berbagi dalam pembelajaran menulis teks drama beradasarkan persepsi dosen dan mahasiswa; (2) bagaimanakah desain teknik pembelajaran berpikir berpasangan berbagi menulis teks drama pbermuatan nilai-nilai pendidikan karakter pada mahasiswa progaram studi pendidikan bahasa dan sastra Indonesia; dan (3)bagaimanakah hasil belajar mahasiswa menulis teks drama menggunakan teknik pembelajaran berpikir berpasangan berbagi menulis teks drama bermuatan nilai-nilai pendidikan karakter pada mahasiswa progaram studi pen-didikan bahasa dan sastra Indonesia.Tujuanya adalah mendeskripsi hasil belajar mahasiswa menulis teks drama menggunakan teknik pembelajaran berpikir berpasangan berbagi. Desain penelitian ini adalah penelitian dan pengembangan yang terdiri atas dua langkah yaitu studi pendahuluan dan pengembangan. Hasil penelitian meliputi kebutuhan teknik pembelajaran dalam menulis teks drama pada mahasiswa pendidikan bahasa dan sastra Indonesia adalah teknik pembelajaran yang berkarakteristik (1) sebelum menulis, mahasiswa diberi kesempatan untuk membaca, menganalisis, dan mendiskusikan teks drama; (2) teori menulis teks drama tetap diajarkan; (3)kegiatan menulis dilakukan bertahap dan berkelanjutan. The research was motivated by the ability to write a drama text needs to be improved through the devel-opment of learning technics that can lead students to think critically and creatively. Think Pair Share technic of learning is the right technic to write a drama text as it can cause students to think critically and creatively. Problem of this study were (1) what are the needs in learning to write text based ondrama teacher and student perceptions, (2) how the design of learning technics Think Pair Share write-charge drama written text values of character education in program students study Indonesian language and lit-erature education; and (3) how the students learn to write a drama text using Think Pair Share technic of learning to write text-charged drama of character education values in program students study Indonesian language and literature education.

Abstract

Media pembelajaran harus sesuai dengan minat siswa. Media komik bermuatan gender disusun untuk mempermudah peningkatan keterampilan bercerita di sekolah dasar tingkat tinggi dan penanaman nilai gender sejak dini. Pendekatan penelitian ini adalah Research and Development (R&D) dari Brog dan Gall. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian diketahui bahwa prinsip pengembangan media komik bermuatan gender meliputi (1) fixative property, (2) manipulative property, dan (3) distributive property,sedangkan dari uji coba produk terungkap perbedaan nilai siswa, yakni dari mean 56,17 menjadi 74,87. Dengan demikian, media komik bermuatan gen-der mampu meningkatkan kemampuan bercerita siswa sekolah dasar tingkat tinggi. Instructional media should be in accordance with the interests of students. Media gendered comic prepared to facilitate the upgrading of skills in elementary school told me and planting a high level of gender values early on. This research approach is the Research and Development (R & D) of Brog and Gall. Based on survey results revealed that the principle of the develop-ment of gender-laden comic book covers (1) fixative property, (2) manipulative property, and (3) distributive property, while the trials of the products revealed differences in student scores, the mean of 56.17 to 74, 87. Thus, gender-laden comic medium can improve the ability to tell a high level of primary school students.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effectiveness of the model advanced settings, the effectiveness of the model investigation, and determine which is more effective between the model and the model setup adept at investigating the storytelling skills of students learning introverted and extroverted. This study used an experimental method sample was tells capability class VII students of SMP Negeri 2 Mayong. This study is a test instrument storytelling skills and data analysis techniques used are descriptive statistics and a different test (t-test). The results of the study were (1) the effectiveness of the regulatory model introverted learners proficient on average 80.58 and extroverted learners average 81.47, (2) the effectiveness of the model in the investigation of a group of learners inrover average 73.84 extroverted learners 74.00, and (3) Learning storytelling with advanced regulatory model is more effective than the model of investigation in both groups of students are introverted or extroverted learners. Conclusions proficient regulatory model and the model of effective investigation on learning tells both introverted and extroverted learners, there is a significant difference after the model treated Advance Organizer and model investigations group. His advice teachers can apply the model Advance Organizer telling learners introverted and extroverted

Abstract

The purpose of this study (1) determine the effectiveness of the use of the model in the investigation of a group of students improve impromptu speech, (2) determine the effectiveness of the use of the model plays a role in improving students' speaking impromptu, and (3) determine the effectiveness of the model and model investigation group play role to enhance the ability of learners impromptu speech. This study type quasi experimental study. This research was conducted to compare the two models between model investigations with the model group play to improve high school students' impromptu speech class XI are introverted and extroverted, the source of research data Sacred Spirit High School students of the school year 2011/2012, as well as personality expert (psychologist). Data were collected through observation, questionnaires, interviews, tests, and journals and analyzed qualitative and quantitative description. Results of this study was to determine the effectiveness of the learning model to improve speech. The results of the study, the model plays a role more effectively spent on impromptu speech until proven earned value above KKM. Students get excited and interested in following an impromptu speech learning lessons

Abstract

This study is aimed to determine (1) the effectiveness of the use of suggestion models media imagination songs and video clips to enhance the skills of writing short stories high school students of class X   music high and low  capability, (2) the effectiveness of the intelligence factor of music on short story writing skills high school students of class X and (3) the relationship between the model suggestion imagination song and video media clips with music capability X. grade school students.The method is experimental design. Technical research data collection using instruments short story writing skills, multiple intelligence test, and sheet observation. Conclusion The results of this study were (1) the use of media imagination song suggestions models effective for students music with  high capability ,imagination and suggestion models use media effectively for video clips music learners with low capability, (2) short story writing skills of students with   high music capability is different from short story writing skills of students  with  music low capability, (3) a model of suggestion and imagination of the media song video clips influence short story writing skills of students high school class X
PENGEMBANGAN BUKU PENGASUHAN BERBAHASA DALAM MENSTIMULASI KESANTUNAN INTERAKSI PENGASUHAN ANAK-ANAK USIA PRASEKOLAH

Abstract

The statements of this study are: how the need, characteristic, principles, draft, scoring, and effectiness of language care book package. This study belongs to development study. The instrument used were: the observation guideline, interview guideline, questionnaire, and experts’ scoring instrument. Based on the need analysis, the characteristics of teachers’ speech act viewed from its politeness degree belongs to polite category for all kinds of speech act. In other hand, the teachers’ need in supplying language care book focused on the need of care process, whether planning, implementing, and evaluating. As a stepping stone to create product draft, the characteristics of language book in market analyzed. The principles of book development contains: organizing, material, material presentation, language and literacy, graph, and teachers’ activity guideline. The draft of language care book developed in the form of package containing children’s book, teacher’s guidance book, and CD of learning guidance. After teachers’ and experts’ understanding tests were done, it can be stated that the product draft has been good and appropriate as a medium or learning source in children’s care interaction. After that, based on the result of product effectiveness test in learning, the package is effective and it can improve students’ communicative competence.
