The Journal of Innovation in Business and Economics (JIBE) is published by the Department of Economics and Business at University of Muhammadiyah Malang in 2017. Previously this journal was known as Jurnal Media Ekonomi that was initially published in 2000. In 2011 until 2016, this journal was renamed as Ekonomika Bisnis: Jurnal Penelitian dan Pemikiran. JIBE is a generalist; academic review covering all fields of business, management, accounting, and economics. The journal seeks to examine the emerging and state of the art future innovations in business, economics and management made possible by advances in information, communication, and technologies. We welcome contributions covering all fields of business innovations including, but not limited to information, communication and technologies applications in business, cost and revenue model, business ethics, business strategy, applications of innovation in business and management, entrepreneurship & innovation, information systems, international business & cross-cultural studies, marketing, organization studies, general management as well as micro and macro economics.

Abstract

This paper analyzes public perception of education public service before and after the implementation of regional autonomy policy. The values examined in this paper used Fisher Exact Value Test. The results of the study show that public perception of education public service in central city as well as in suburb are equal. There is no perception difference about education public service between before and after the implementation of autonomy policy. Although the public perception of public service education has been uneven, policies to improve access of the poor and people who are vulnerable to poverty to education to be important to implement. It aims to improve people's lives, especially the poor

Abstract

Earning Management representing one of choice to manager in determining policy of accountancy to reach specific purposes. The target is to maximize manager utilitas and improve company value. This target relate manager motivation in earning management praktik as: getting high bonus, debt in bond fund, trust of public in capital market, low tax expense, achievement which both for CEO , and positive reaction of investor in IPO. With existence of the target of profit management to maximize utilitas, hence profit management activity can be classified into ethics understanding of utilitarianisme. But which still become question in earning management will delivering many benefit to management  agent or principle, particularly all stakeholder.

Abstract

This research to analyzes Indonesia's economy in various presidency, that since Indonesia's independence in 1945 until 2009. This study used qualitative research methods-historical, and found that each leadership has their stated objectives. In Suharto, began development with a clearer direction. But the factor of corruption, collusion and nepotism makes the New Order fall. Habibie did re-alignment in the economic, social and political. Gus Dur emphasizes building relationships with foreign countries in order to build the national economy. Megawati succeeded in lowering inflation and interest rates, and increase economic growth and menguatlan rupiah. Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono succeeded in improving the economy in general, inflation mengendaikan, growing domestic aggregate demand, and reduce imports

Abstract

Stress can cause both positive and negative impacts. The negative impact in terms of the effects of stress on health, decrease stability and endurance will decrease the performance of individuals and hinder of career. The positive effects of stress will lead to the development of a career because a stressor can be used as a motivator to spur increased employee performance. Some researchers have suggested that the conflict between individu, excessive workload, and time wasters is the strongest cause of stress on the false kind of job. Some of the behavior and actions of employees such as the lack of a good performance from employees, high absenteeism, and high turnover rate, caused by the stress of the organization and the organization committee should intervene to reduce stress, one of which is to redesign work.

Abstract

The research is analyzing the absorption of workers at TTS East Nusa Tenggara Province in period 2005-2010. Research aims at: identifying sectors with the strength of absorbing workers in period 2005-2010; understanding the output produced by sector workers at TTS; and acknowledging how is the effect of the economic growth on the absorption of workers at TTS in period 2005-2010. Analysis tools are Location Quotient (LQ), TK Productivity, TK Elasticity, MRP, and Klassen Typology. Result of research indicates that mining and quarring sector, and electricity, gas and water sectors are superior sectors in absorbing workers.

Abstract

Small industry has a considerable role in the manufacturing sector in terms of the number of business units, the absorptive capacity of the workforce and supporting household income ladder. Distrust of the ability of micro, small and medium enterprises (UMKM) in the era of globalization, free-market-oriented mechanism is quite reasonable, because of the limitations that exist within the group. Abstract

The purpose of this study is to examine the perception of internal accountants to PSAK 101-110 of accounting sharia in Islamic financial institutions. This study used questionnaires given to internal accountant at Islamic Financial Institutions in the Malang. Technical analysis is descriptive qualitative, where the data collected by questionnaires. The results showed that the perception of internal accountants to SFAS 101-110 on the recognition, measurement, presentation and disclosure of transactions in the financial statements on average had agreed, either on murabaha accounting, accounting musharaka, mudaraba accounting, leasing, ijarah and presentation in the financial statements

Abstract

The aim of this research is to analyse the effect of global  inflation to macroeconomic in Indonesia. ARCH model used to analyse the influence of global inflation to macroenomic. According to the result analysis reveals that; first, based on the ARCH approach and market equilibrium global inflation have negative influence to GDP. Second, based on the goods and money market equilibrium, global inflation has positive influence to GDP. Third, global inflation in static inflation models has siginificant influence to domestic inflation. It’s little bit small than in dinamic inflation models. Fourth, ecxhange currency rate has positive significant influnced to export magnitude
