The Journal of Innovation in Business and Economics (JIBE) is published by the Department of Economics and Business at University of Muhammadiyah Malang in 2017. Previously this journal was known as Jurnal Media Ekonomi that was initially published in 2000. In 2011 until 2016, this journal was renamed as Ekonomika Bisnis: Jurnal Penelitian dan Pemikiran. JIBE is a generalist; academic review covering all fields of business, management, accounting, and economics. The journal seeks to examine the emerging and state of the art future innovations in business, economics and management made possible by advances in information, communication, and technologies. We welcome contributions covering all fields of business innovations including, but not limited to information, communication and technologies applications in business, cost and revenue model, business ethics, business strategy, applications of innovation in business and management, entrepreneurship & innovation, information systems, international business & cross-cultural studies, marketing, organization studies, general management as well as micro and macro economics.

Abstract

This study aims to: (1) to analyze the level of consistency of planning and budgeting document which occurred in the Lembata district Year 2012-2015; (2) look at the factors that cause inconsistencies; and (3) to formu-late policy priorities. To answer the purpose, this study used a descriptive evaluative methods, which are categorized as qualitative stream. The in-formants include the executive, legislative, and NGOs. Based on an anal-ysis tool Matrix Consolidated Planning and Budgeting, Analysis of Root Cause Analysis, and Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP), the results showed that the documents of the most inconsistent is RPJMD-RKPD, while programs that have a risk of inconsistency so high is infrastructure development.Keywords : Budgeting , Inconsistency, Planning.

Abstract

This research aims to knowing the leading agricultural commodities contained in each area of town left behind in the District West Sumbawa. The instrument analysis used in this study are: Analysis of Location Quotient (LQ) and the Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP). Results of the analysis of Location Quotient (LQ) indicating that:  the leading agricultural commodities consists of three commodities among other: rice, corn, and cattle (cows).Rresults showed that from the input, the factors inhibiting the development of commodity rice and corn are the scarcity of labor, while breeder lack of the capital to be a factor inhibiting. In the process of production, factors of maintenance and pest control to be a factors inhibiting the development of commodity of rice and corn, while the factor of lack of skills of the breeder to be inhibiting the development of commodity cattle

Abstract

The organizational problem is to create the effective collaboration processes in a organization. Weblog which constitutes a social software to facilitate knowledge sharing effectively. Meanwhile, blog in the intranet design, The objective to make communication easier to all employee or staff . The objective is to share knowledge or experience in order to solve the problem in a blog. Nevertheless, The member of online community will not face a constraint with hierarchy’s organization limitation.The other benefit is management can directly give feedback on staff comment in blog.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze the management accountability of Village Fund Allocation (ADD) in Kedungbetik. This qualitative research through data reduction method, data presentation, and verification used as data analysis. The results indicate that the planning and implementation of ADD in the village of Kedungbetik is accountable, ADD planning is based on the program proposed from village and evaluated through discussion forum at the village level. Disbursement procedures and distribution of ADD in accordance the rules of Jombang Regent No. 17 of 2015, Regulation No.113 of 2014 and the allocation of funds based on priorities. Accountability report of the ADD integrated with APBDes accountability. Management constraint is lack of understanding of village officials in implementation the ADD.Keywords: Accountability , Accountability of Village, Management

Abstract

This study is specifically to evaluate the effect of work experience, independence, integrity, objectivity and competence toward the audit quality. This study was conducted by distributing questionnaires to KAP in Malang. By counting related association division of KAP, the number of sample in this study was 63 respondents who definitely worked in 7 KAP. This research is a quantitative study.  The sample was chosen by using purposive sampling. The hypothesis test used multiple linear regressions in SPSS version 16. All variables in this study were measured using Likert Scale. The results shows that all independent variables have positive effect toward audit quality. The partial influence (T-test) showed that the variables of work experience, Independence, Integrity, Objectivity, Competence affect audit quality. In the other hands, the simultaneous effect is shown by the value of R2 from 75.2 %. It was shown by  work experience, independence, integrity, objectivity, and competence which affecting audit quality changing of 75.2% and the rest, 24.8 % in audit quality changing, is affected by other variables which is not investigated in this study

Abstract

Bali has two village governance systems: administrative-village and customary-village. Administrative-village is the extension of government’s authority in administrative aspects. Meanwhile, customary-village (pakraman village) denotes traditional institution that has a function to organize krama (residents) based on the awig-awig (customary law). The role of customary-village is fundamental in carrying on the custom and culture of Bali as well as triggering the economical aspect from the society through Village Credit Institution (LPD). This study is intended to describe the existence of social capital over the LPD by employing inductive-qualitative approach. Social capital over the LPD can improve the societies’ harmony that have been established in advance. Furthermore, the social capital bonding, bridging and linking can be used continuously in social life.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to test an active strategy (moving leverage) with a passive strategy (buy, sell and hold strategy) to determine which strategy to generate optimal returns with to compair of all strategy. Method by collecting data is then processed and analyzed using software ChartNexus. An indicators moving everage 5, 10, 30, bollingerband and compare the return of an active strategy with passive strategies. The results of this research note that suitable and appropriate technical analysis to forecast stock prices to determine buy, sell and hold, to optimize stock returns and shows that an active strategy is able to out perform a passive strategy when the market is bearish and volatile. The use of passive strategies can provide superior results, when used on a very bullish market conditions. Volatile market conditions that are more suitable to use the strategy of comparison between the strategies of active and passive strategies.

Abstract

Movie scenes have become attractive means for many industries to present their products without enforced impression. Through careful designed product placement strategy, Twilight movie became the perfect promotional media for Volvo in promoting their products. Volvo is one of the premium automotive brands under the auspices of Indomobil. This well-known brand always put and positions their product merely for the target premium. Product placement is an example of a hybrid message or an attempt to influence audience at an affordable cost. Some benefits in advertising through product placement are a lot of audiences see the products so that the brand awareness and the products’ credibility would significantly increase. In conclusion, consumer’s behavior in recognizing and remembering a product might be affected by their vision, hearing, and admiration.

Abstract

Business Incubator is one of PPSD’s (Pondok Pesantren Sunan Drajat) sub-units that supports their owneconomy independency. PPSD have existed as an important part of education, social and especially economic institution for Muslim community in East Java. Each year, Muslim intellectuals graduate from PPDS as Santri graduates, and mostly work, not only as religion teachers, but also as entrepreneurs, back in their hometown. The phenomenon of Santri Entrepreneurs appears to be the main inspiration for Business Incubator foundation. The researcher subsequently observes such phenomenon, also known as Santri anti-poverty agent, by using Action Research method as a base of observation for data collecting, analysis and synthesis process. The aim is to describe innovative methods of PPSD’s Business Incubator in generating entrepreneurs along with pesantren ecosystem where this research was conducted. The research findings are the description of knowledge management and recommendation for developing entrepreneurship within incubator related to PPSD policy.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze about Murabahah financing at Mandiri syariah Bank in Samarinda city. Independent variables used in this study are inflation, the net operational margin, total assets and variables that reflect the type of Islamic bank financing policy. The dependent variable used in this study is the ratio of Islamic banks or financing problems in terms of so-called Non-Performing Financing (NPF). One of the results in this study was about Murabahah receivable for profit Loss sharing financing gave the most dominant effect toward Non Performing Finance Gross at Islamic Bank.
