Abstract

Polytechnic is a university that organizesvocational education in various science and technology clusters.The learning process in polytechnic is dominated by practicumthat is 70% and 30% theory. The amount of laboratorypercentage affects the large number of laboratory. Eachlaboratory has a laboratory responsible (technician) in charge ofrecording and monitoring the completeness and condition of thepracticum equipment. Tools and materials used in the process ofpracticum is an asset and laboratory inventory that must alwaysbe maintained and checked the condition of the equipment. InUjung Pandang State Polytechnic (PNUP) in terms of assetmonitoring and practicum inventory is still done manually.Therefore need to make an application to monitor assets andlaboratory inventory, especially on campus two. It is known thatsince 2014 there are three departments that have implementedthe teaching and learning process in two campuses includingseveral laboratories have also been transferred to the twocampuses, such as electrical engineering majors, majoring inbusiness administration and accounting majors. So with thisapplication will greatly help technicians because no longer do thereporting or request tool manually and with this application inmonitoring the condition of the tool is damaged and tools thatneed further improvement more easily and can be quicklyupdated. The creation of this system begins with the needsanalysis, design design as the basis of system development, theright of access consists of technicians of each laboratory andprocurement department on campus one, content creationconsists of laboratory data, checking tools and materials, repairtools and materials and demand tools and materials then printdata laboratory

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of alkali treatment and hydrogen peroxide on the change in diameter of coconut fiber as an environmentally friendly composite material. This research was carried out with several stages, namely: preparation of materials and tools, treatments, measurement of diameter, analysis, and discussion. Materials and equipment used are coconut fiber, alkaline solution, hydrogen peroxide solution, distilled water, a set of immersion media, and digital microscopes. Coconut fiber was soaked in alkaline solution with 10% concentration for 1, 3, 5, 7, 9, and 11 hours, then dried in a furnace at 90oC for 5 hours. Furthermore, coconut fiber was soaked again in potassium permanganate solution with a concentration of 0.5% for 1, 3, 5, 7, 9, and 11 hours, then dried in a furnace at 90oC for 5 hours. Then the coconut fiber was soaked again in a hydrogen peroxide solution with a concentration of 10% for 1, 3, 5, 7, 9, and 11 hours, then dried in a furnace at 90oC for 5 hours. After that, using a digital microscope the diameter of coconut fiber is measured. Based on the measurement results, it was concluded that the diameter of coconut fiber was degraded in diameter after soaking in alkaline solution, potassium permanganate, and hydrogen peroxide. The highest percentage reduction in diameter was 58.08% in the third treatment.

Abstract

If one side of sandals is broken, the other side cannot be used. From this problem have been made symmetry sandal which both sides are same. Then added the horizontal holes in the sandal to drain the water. The purpose of research is to mold the base of symmetry sandal and analyze the tensile strength materials. The materials are PVC resin (polyvinyl chloride, blowing agent, and black pigmen mixed with the DOP (diocthyl phthalate) or plasticizer variation and blowing agent. DOP variation used 300ml, 400ml, and 500ml in 2000g of PVC resin, 20g blowing agent, and 20g black pigmen. The material test is use tensile test for material. The research result is there is an effect of variations DOP In PVC resin on tensile strength, that tensile strength is decrease 46% from 16.20 MPa to 8.74MPa.

Abstract

Savonius wind turbines are wind turbines that canoperate at low wind speeds, this type of turbine is very suitable tobe used in several places in Indonesia. The research aims toimprove the performance of the Savonius wind turbine withvariations in the number of turbine blades as well as variations inthe velocity of wind speed. The research method wasexperimental where wind turbine testing was carried out withvariations in the number of turbine blades with number of 2, 3and 4 blades, other variations carried out were wind speed at 3.5;4,5; 5.5 and 6.5 m/s. The study results show that the 2-bladeturbine produces greater rotation, but the torque moment islower than the 3 and 4 blade turbines, this can be seen in the lowefficiency of the 2 blade turbine at low wind speeds with highloading. At 3.5 m / s wind turbines 2 blade turbines haveefficiency that tends to be the same as 3 and 4 blade turbines upto 0.5 N but at loads of 0.6 - 1.2 N 2 blade turbines have lowerefficiency, while at wind speeds of 4.5 - 6.5 m / s 2 blade turbineshave greater efficiency than turbines 3 and 4 blades up to a loadof 1.2 N but if the load is added then the efficiency of 2-bladeturbines can be smaller than efficiency 3 and 4-blade.

Abstract

This research tested the bioactive by using rawfruits of Sapodilla Sapota (Manilkara zapota) as a drag growthmedia of Salmonella Typhi bacteria causes typhoid fever disease.Salmonella typhi is a species of bacteria that are gram-negativebacilli shaped, facultative, aerobic, and moving with a singlePertrich. Sapdilla Sapota has antimicrobial activity againstSalmonella typhi, because it contains a variety of secondarymetabolite compounds such as Saponins, Tannins andFlavonoids. The purpose of this research was to know howefective the raw fruits of sapodilla sapota (Manilkara Zapota)against the growth of Salmonella typhi. This is a laboratoryyresearch by using diffusion test method. The sample of thisresearch is to extract the fruit of Sapodilla Sapota (ManilkaraZapota) crude. The results of this research are 35%concentration of extract cannot be formed drag zone (0 mm), butin 40, 45, 50 and 55% of concentration there are had drag zone (9mm, 13 mm, 13.5 mm, and 18 mm). This can be said that the rawfruit of Sapodilla Sapota extract can inhibit the growth ofSalmonella Typhi bacteria can be done, then the next extension tothe sufferers of the disease typhus to consume raw fruits ofSapodilla Sapota so that can reduce the growth of bacteria.

Abstract

Abstract— At the 2018 ASEAN Games, Indonesia won 98 medals, the number of medals exceeded the expected target, this achievement could not be separated from the role of coaches who always monitor the condition of their athletes while training on the field. One of the conditions of monitoring athletes can be done by monitoring the heartbeat activity of each athlete during exercise. In this study the authors made a heart rate monitoring tool for IoT 100 meter runners that can be used in the field and send data in real time. Polar Heart Rate heart rate sensor is good to use because the data reading error is 0.4%. 2. heart rate monitoring can only communicate up to 70 meters more. Data entered and read well into the server.

Abstract

The obligation of Muslim towards their relatives who died there are four cases, namely bathing, believing, praying and burying. The community considers that there is no need to think about how to care for the body from the beginning to the finish because there are already their own officers. Rhile in a hadist from ‘Aisyah said Rasullah SAW: “Anyone who bathes a corpse and is guarded by trust and cannot be opened (secret) about the protection of the sympathy for the people there hen comes from sin for hs condition. Based on the hadist mentioned the person who mentioned bathe the corpse in priority is his own closest family, then if the family cannot, then other people can do it, while bathing is included in the case of receiving a corpse based on the results of an interview with teacher Madrasah Diniyah Baitul Athfal by agreeing to him about the management of the body, it is expected if it involves family members. Who can use the world od the sunna of the prophet and also in the future can be used as a successor. In Madrasah Diniyah Baitul Athfal involved in the learning process due to shortages in madrasah are short plus students do not have books about the management of bodies or jurisprudence books become obstacles in the process of learning. Teaching lessons for students or instructors. After obtaining data from data collection, .researchers create a system with predetermined and more relevant methods using the Multimedia Development Life Cycle (MDLC) Method. Based on the results obtained for 9352 and included in the category of Good, then the application was validated that can be applied to the research object.

Abstract

Proses pengolahan sirup markisa di Industri Rumah Tangga masih menggunakan peralatan yang sangat sederhana, sehingga kualitas dan kuantitas produk yang dihasilkan tidak maksimal. Pemisahan biji dengan sari buah dilakukan dengan blender yang hasilnya masih tercampur antara biji dan sarinya dan bijinya ada yang hancur sehingga harus disaring lagi setelah dibelender. Sedangkan untuk pemasakan dan pengadukan sari buah masih dilakukan secara tradisional, sehingga temperature pemasakan tidak bisa dikontrol dan hasil pengadukan tidak tercampur secara merata. Desa Tonasa Kecamatan Tombolopao Kabupaten Gowa merupakan wilayah yang potensial bagi budidaya Markisa karena lingkungan yang relatif cocok. Keunggulan wilayah tersebut menjadi salah satu pertimbangan dipilihnya wilayah tersebut sebagai objek/sasaran penelitian pembuatan Sirup Markisa. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah merancang dan membuat mesin pengolahan buah markisa menjadi sirup,sehingga kapasitas dan kualitas produksi pembuatan sirup markisa meningkat. Tahap pelaksanaan penelitian dimulai dengan merancang alat, membuat alat dan pengujian alat. Mesin pengaduk dan pemasak sari buah markisa yang dihasilkan berdimensi panjang 600 mm x lebar 450 mm x tinggi 1250 mm, daya motor 686 Watt atau 1 HP dan diameter poros pemotong 2,5 cm, serta kapasitas produksi 40 liter/20 menit.

Abstract

Berdasarkan data Pusat Statistik Indonesia, tingkat kemiskinan pada bulan September 2018 adalah 25,95 juta, berdasrkan data tingkat kemiskinan masyarakat  tersebut  pemeritnah menyalurkan dana bantuan mengatasi tingkat kemiskinan masyarakat melalui Bank. Namun, Bank tidak dapat mengalokasikan dana karena biaya untuk membangun infrastruktur mahal, seperti membuat ATM.Berbagai kendala tersebut, Bank perlu menemukan solusi baru agar dapat mengalokasikan dana kepada masyrakat dengan biaya yang murah, Mobile Platform Biometric Cloud Authentication adalah salah satu solusi. Dalam penelitian ini, eksperimen yang dilakukan melakukan autentikasi dengan QR Code Scan dan face recognize (data face dienkripsi dan didekripsi dengan kritografi algoritma AES 256 bit). Konsentrasi penelitian ini terletak pada  eksperimen terhadap komunikasi keamanan data transaksi payment  merchant onlie degan QR Code scan dan Face recognize yang berbasis mobile android dan serta spesfikasi android versi 23. Hasil pengujian pada aplikasi Mobile ini menunjukkan bahwa QR Code scan dan face recognize dapat diimplementasikan pada transaksi payment merchant online dengan akurasi 95% dan membutuhkan 53, 21 detik per transaksi.

Abstract

The purpose of this research was to determine the surface runoff and the puddle  in the of flood risk area in Manggala village. Modified Rational Method had been applied to determine runoff discharge. While, flood risk areas were based on the map from National Disaster Management (BPBD Kota Makassar, 2014). Rainfall data of Manggala village wascollected from 2009 to 2018 from three stations, they areBiringRomang, Panakukkang, and TamangapaKassi. Therefore,  a Thiessen method had been applied to determine the rainfall area.Research results shown that runoff discharge for return period 5 years was185.38 m3/s, with height around 0,50 to 2,00 m.
