Abstract

This study aimed to determine the impact of self-instruction group counseling technique on students' academic procrastination behavior. To achieve such objective, one-group pretest - posttest design was used in this study by involving 8 students as participants. The results of paired t-test showed that the students' academic procrastination level decreased higher in the posttest measurement (71.39%) than pretest (80.21%, t = 14.982, p < 0.01). Moreover, this study further discussed the possibility of applying self-instruction in overcoming students' academic procrastination behavior problem at State Junior High School (SMP Negeri) 11 Surakarta.

Abstract

Body image adalah komponen yang penting dalam membentuk konsep diri individu dan dapat mengakibatkan gangguan seperti rendahnya self-esteem, gangguan pola makan (disordered eating), diet yang tidak sehat, depresi, dan juga anxiety. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji keefektifan konseling kelompok CBT dengan teknik cognitive restructuring untuk meningkatkan body image mahasiswi FIP IKIP Mataram. Desain penelitian pretest and multiple posttest design diaplikasikan peneliti dengan melibatkan subjek penelitian sebanyak 6 mahasiswi yang dipilih secara purposive dari 30 mahasiswi. Hasil uji Repetead measure Anova menunjukkan bahwa teknik cognitive restructuring terbukti efektif untuk meningkatkan body image mahasiswi (F(2,10)=21.759, p<0.05).Body image is an important component in shaping individual self-concept and can lead to disorders such as low self-esteem, disordered eating, unhealthy diet, depression, and anxiety. This study aims to test the effectiveness of CBT group counseling with cognitive restructuring technique to improve the body image of FIP IKIP Mataram students. The research design of pretest and multiple posttest design was applied with researcher involving 6 subjects chosen purposively from 30 female students. Test results of Repetead measure Anova showed that cognitive restructuring technique proved effective to improve body image student (F(2,10)= 21.759, p <0.05).

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah: (1) mengetahui gambaran pelaksanaan layanan bimbingan kelompok pada SMK di Kabupaten Demak; (2) mengetahui tingkat pengambilan keputusan karir siswa di SMK Islam Nurul Hadi; (3) menghasilkan model bimbingan kelompok berbasis life skills dalam pengambilan keputusan karir siswa di SMK Kabupaten Demak; (4) mengetahui keefektivan model bimbingan kelompok berbasis life skills dalam pengambilan keputusan karir siswa di SMK Islam Nurul Hadi. Desain penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian pengembangan (research and development). Subjek dalam penelitian ini adalah 10 siswa. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: (1) layanan bimbingan kelompok sudah dilaksanakan pada SMK Swasta di Kabupaten Demak namun belum sesuai dengan ketentuan formal pelaksanaan layanan bimbingan kelompok sehingga efektivitas layanan belum tercapai secara optimal; (2) tingkat kemampuan dalam pengambilan keputusan karir siswa sebelum diberi perlakuan berada pada kategori sedang; (3) menghasilkan model bimbingan kelompok berbasis life skills dalam pengambilan keputusan karir, yang terdiri dari 10 komponen yaitu: rasional. Tujuan bimbingan kelompok berbasis life skills, target intervensi dan sasaran layanan, konselor dan kompetensi pendukungnya, anggota kelompok, materi, tahap pelaksanaan, sarana, evaluasi indikator keberhasilan, dan tindak lanjut; (4) hasil uji wilcoxon menunjukkan bahwa model bimbingan kelompok berbasis life skills efektif dalam pengambilan keputusan karir siswa.The purposes of this study were to: (1) describe the implementation of group guidance services at Vocational Schools (SMK) in Demak regency. (2) Determine the level of students’ career decision at SMK Islam Nurul Hadi. (3) Create the life skills-based group guidance model on decision making of SMK students’ career in Demak regency. (4) Determine the effectiveness of this model at SMK Islam Nurul Hadi.This study used Research and Development (R&D) method. The subject were 10 students. The results showed that: (1) private vocational schools in Demak regency had implemented group guidance services but they had not meet the official implementation terms of guidance group services. Thus, the services had not reached maximum results. (2) The level of students’ career decision before treatment was in fair category. (3) the life skills-based group guidance model on decision making of SMK students’ career consisted of ten components such as rational, goals of skills-based group guidance, intervention and services targets, counselors and supporting competences, group members, materials, implementation stage, facilities, evaluation of indicators, and follow-up. (4) the model was effective to help the students to decide their own career decision.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah (1) Memperoleh gambaran pelaksanaan konseling kelompok di SMP Negeri Kabupaten Pati, (2) Memperoleh gambaran tingkat konsep diri siswa di SMP Negeri 1 Tlogowungu Pati, (3) Menghasilkan model layanan konseling kelompok melalui teknik self-management agar dapat meningkatkan konsep diri siswa, (4) Mengetahui tingkat efektifitas model layanan konseling kelompok melalui teknik self-management untuk meningkatkan konsep diri siswa. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode Research and Development (R&D). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan: (1) Layanan konseling kelompok di SMP Negeri Kabupaten Pati telah terencana dalam program bimbingan dan konseling akan tetapi pelaksanaannya masih kurang optimal, (2) Tingkat konsep diri Siswa di SMP Negeri 1 Tlogowungu Pati pada kategori sangat rendah adalah 1,4%, kategori rendah 30,3%, kategori sedang 43,8%, dan kategori tinggi 24,5%, (3) Dihasilkan model konseling kelompok teknik self-management untuk meningkatkan konsep diri siswa, dan (4) Model konseling kelompok teknik self-management efektif dalam meningkatkan konsep diri siswa.The purpose of this study were: (1) to get portrait of group counseling employment in Pati Regency Junior High School. (2) To get portrait of the students’ self-concept of 1 Tlogowungu Junior High School. (3) To produce counseling group service model through self-management technique to improve student self-concept. (4) To figure out the effectiveness level of group self-management counseling technique to improve students’ self-concept. This study applied Research and Development (R&D) method. Results showed (1) Group counseling service of the school has been well planned in the guidance and counseling program, however it is not optimally employed. (2) The students’ self-concept level in which in the lowest level is 1.4%, low level is 30.3%, medium level is 43.8%, and top level is 24.5%, (3) It is produced self-management group counseling model to improve students’ self-concept, and (4) self-management group counseling technique model is proven effectively to improve the students’ self-concept.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk menguji keefektifan bimbingan kelompok teknik modeling dan pengukuhan positif untuk mengurangi perilaku bullying siswa SD Supriyadi Semarang. Penelitian ini adalah penelitian quasi eksperimental dengan metode non-equivalent group pretest and posttest control group design. Metode pengumpul data yang digunakan adalah lembar observasi untuk mengetahui tingkat perilaku bullying. Subyek dalam penelitian ini adalah 16 siswa yang memiliki skor tertinggi perilaku bullying. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah statistik nonparametrik menggunakan uji wilcoxon dengan taraf signifikansi 5%. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan ada penurunan perilaku bullying pada kelompok eksperimen 36%, sedangkan ada peningkatan perilaku bullying pada kelompok kontrol 0,04%.The purpose of this study was to test the effectiveness of group counseling modeling techniques and positive affirmation to reduce bullying behavior of elementary school students Supriyadi Semarang. This research is a quasi eksperimental with a non-equivalent group pretest and posttest control group design. Data collection methods used were observation sheet to determine the level of bullying behavior. Subjects in this study were 16 students who have the highest score bullying behavior. Data analysis technique used is nonparametric statistical tests using independent-sample t-test with significance level of 5%. The results showed no decrease bullying behavior in the experimental group 36%, while there was an increase in bullying behavior in the control group 0.04%.

Abstract

Tujuan Penelitian ini untuk: (1) Menganalisis model faktual pelaksanaan program bimbingan dan konseling di TK Al Hikmah dan TK Khadijah Pandegiling; (2) Menganalisis fisibilitas TK Al Hikmah dan TK Khadijah Pandegiling Surabaya untuk dapat melaksanakan program BK Komprehensif; dan (3) Menghasilkan model program BK Komprehensif TK Al Hikmah dan TK Khadijah Pandegiling kota Surabaya ditinjau dari aspek kebermanfaatan, kemudahan, kepatutan, dan ketepatannya. Metode penelitian yang digunakan yaitu Research and Development (RnD). Instrumen yang digunakan yaitu skala kebutuhan, pedoman wawancara dan skala penilaian. Hasil temuan penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: (1) BK tidak diselenggarakan secara independen (di TK Khadijah Pandegiling) namun layanan-layanan BK tetap dapat diberikan pada anak taman kanak-kanak, di TK Al Hikmah BK telah dilaksanakan secara independen; (2) Baik di TK khadijah maupun TK Al Hikmah memenuhi kriteria fisibilitas implementasi program BK Komprehensif di TK; (3) hasil uji validasi ahli menilai bahwa model yang dikembangkan sangat layak digunakan (1 ahli), dan 4 ahli menilai layak digunakan dan 1 ahli menilai cukup layak, sedangkan 4 praktisi menilai sangat layak dan 4 orang menilai layak digunakan.The purpose of this study were: (1) To Analyze the factual model of implementation guidance and counseling program in kindergarten Khadijah Pandegiling and Al Hikmah, (2) To analyze the feasibility of Al Hikmah and Khadijah Pandegiling Surabaya in order to implement the comprehensive guidance and counseling program, and (3) Produce comprehensive guidance and counseling program model at Al Hikmah and Khadijah based on the aspect of utility standards, feasibility standards, propriety standards, dan accuracy standards. The method used is Research and Development (RnD). The instrument used were the scale of the needs, interview and assessment scale. Research findings showed that : (1) although BK is not held independently (in kindergarten Khadijah Pandegiling) but services remained BK can be given to children of kindergarten; (2) Both in TK Al Hikmah and Khadijah Pandegiling fulfill the criteria of feasibility of the implementation of the Comprehensive guidance and counseling program in kindergarten; (3) the results of the validation test experts assess that the model developed very feasible to use (1 experts), 4 experts assess fit for use, and 1 expert assess enough for use whereas 4 practitioners assess very feasible and 4 assessing fit for use.

Abstract

Pelaksanaan evaluasi program bimbingan dan konseling komprehensif membutuhkan instrumen yang akurat, guna menghasilkan data yang akurat. Penelitian ini bertujuan (1) menganalisis model instrumen evaluasi program BK faktual, dan (2) menghasilkan model final instrumen evaluasi program BK komprehensif. Metode penelitian ini reseach and developmen (R & D), melalui tahapan: (1) persiapan pengembangan dengan perumusan desain model evaluasi program BK komprehensif, (2) merancang model hipotetik, (3) validasi ahli dan praktisi yang meliputi ahli dalam bidang BK komprehensif dan praktisi yang merupakan guru BK, (4) evaluasi dan perbaikan awal setelah mendapatklan hasil dari validasi ahli dan praktisi, (5) uji kelayakan model melalui FGD, (6) evaluasi dan perbaikan akhir dalam rangka model akhir. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa (1) instrumen evaluasi program bimbingan dan konseling komprehensif faktual belum layak digunakan untuk mengevaluasi program bimbingan dan konseling komprehensif, (2) ditemukan desain model hipotetik instrumen evaluasi program bimbingan dan konseling komprehensif, (3) dihasilkan model final instrumen yang layak digunakan untuk mengevaluasi program bimbingan dan konseling komprehensif.The implementation of comprehensive guidance and counseling program needs an accurate instrument. The aim of this research were: (1) describe and analyze models of evaluation instruments of factual comprehensive guidance and counseling program, (2) produce a model of evaluation instruments of comprehensive guidance and counseling program that is effective. The research methodology was reseach and developmen (R & D), through the stages: (1) preparation of the development by the formulation of model design to which evaluation of guidance and comprehensive counseling program, (2) design a hypothetical model, (3) validation of experts and practitioners, including experts in the field of comprehensive Guidance and Counseling and practitioners who are Guidance and Counseling’s teachers, 4) the evaluation and initial repair after getting the results of experts and practitioners’ validation, (5) feasibility test of the model through focus group discussions (FGD), (6) the evaluation and final repair in the context of the final model. The results of the research showed that (1) the evaluation instrument of factual comprehensive guidance and counseling program was not feasible used to evaluate the comprehensive guidance and counseling program, (2) it was formulated an the design of hypothetical model evaluation instrument guidance and counseling program is comprehensive (3) it was produced an appropriate instruments model design used to evaluate a comprehensive guidance and counseling program.
Keefektifan Layanan Informasi Karier Berbantuan Video Interaktif dan Live Modeling untuk Meningkatkan Pemahaman Karier Siswa SMP

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui keefektifan pelaksanaan layanan informasi karier berbantuan video interaktif dan live modeling terhadap pemahaman karier siswa serta untuk mengetahui mana yang lebih efektif layanan informasi karir berbantuan video interaktif atau live modeling untuk meningkatkan pemahaman karier siswa Kelas IX SMP Negeri 3 Satu Atap, Waru Reja, Kabupaten Tegal. Penelitian ini adalah penelitian eksperimen dengan jenis rancangan pretest-posttest control design. Populasi adalah siswa SMP Negeri 3 Satu Atap Waru Reja. Penelitian ini menggunakan sampel 32 siswa sebagai kelompok eksperimen A yang akan diberikan treatment video interaktif, 32 siswa sebagai kelompok ekperimen B yang akan diberikan treatment live modeling dan 32 siswa sebagai kelompok kontrol. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa layanan informasi karier berbantuan video interaktif dan live modeling untuk meningkatkan pemahaman karier siswa SMP Negeri 3 Satu Atap Waru Reja. Layanan informasi karier berbantuan video interaktif efektif untuk meningkatkan pemahaman karier siswa. Layanan informasi karier dengan teknik live modeling juga efektif untuk meningkatkan pemahaman karier siswa. Relevan dengan temuan ini maka konselor perlu penerapan video interaktif dan live modeling pada pelaksanaan layanan informasi karier agar siswa mampu meningkatkan pemahaman karier.The purposes of this study were to determine the effectiveness of the implementation of interactive video-assisted and live modeling in career information services to improve students’ career understanding and to find out which more effective between those strategies. This study implemented control group pretest-posttest design. The population was the students of SMP Negeri 3 Satu Atap Waru Reja. The sample was 32 students as an experimental group A which given interactive video treatment, 32 students as an experimental group B which given live modeling treatment, and 32 students as a control group. The results showed that both strategies were effective to improve the students’ career understanding at SMP Negeri 3 Satu Atap, Waru Reja. The counselor recommended to implement the interactive video and live modeling strategy on career information services to improve the students’ career understanding.
Pengembangan Model Konseling Kelompok Berbasis Nilai-nilai Pesantren untuk Meningkatkan Pengaturan Diri Santri

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah: (1) menganalisis pelaksanaan konseling kelompok, (2) menganalisis penerapan nilai-nilai pesantren, (3) menghasilkan model konseling kelompok berbasis nilai-nilai pesantren untuk meningkatkan pengaturan diri santri, dan (4) menguji keefektifan model konseling kelompok berbasis nilai-nilai pesantren untuk meningkatkan pengaturan diri santri. Penelitian ini menggunakan desain research and development (RnD) dengan langkah-langkah: (1) persiapan pengembangan model, (2) merumuskan model hipotetik, (3) uji kelayakan model hipotetik, (4) perbaikan model hipotetik, (5) uji lapangan, dan (6) uji keefektifan model. Hasil penelitian yaitu: (1) konseling kelompok sudah dilaksanakan di MTs/MTW Pesantren Islam Al-Irsyad Tengaran-Kab.Semarang dengan teknik ceramah serta diskusi dan tujuan pelaksanaannya berorientasi pada pemecahan masalah; (2) penerapan nilai-nilai pesantren sudah masuk dalam kegiatan sehari-hari santri di pesantren. Hasil pengembangan yaitu: (1) diperoleh model akhir konseling kelompok berbasis nilai-nilai pesantren untuk meningkatkan pengaturan diri santri yang terdiri dari 7 komponen: rasional, visi dan misi, tujuan, isi model, dukungan sistem, tahapan pelaksanaan, evaluasi dan tindak lanjut; (2) model konseling kelompok berbasis nilai-nilai pesantren efektif untuk meningkatkan pengaturan diri santri.The objective of this study were: (1) analyze the implementation of group counseling, (2) analyze the application of the pesantren’s values, (3) produced a model of group counseling based on pesantren’s values to improve students’ self-regulation, and (4) test the the effectiveness of the group counseling model based on pesantren’s values to improve students’ self-regulation. This study used research and development design (RnD) with the following steps: (1) preparation of model development, (2) formulate hypothetical model, (3) test the feasibility of hypothetical model, (4) improve the hypothetical model, (5) field test, and (6) test the effectiveness of the model. The results of this study were: (1) the counseling group has been implemented in MTs/MTW Islamic Boarding School Al-Irsyad Tengaran-Semarang Regency by using lecture technique as well as discussions and implementation of its goal oriented in problem solving; (2) the application of pesantren’s values has been included in the daily activities of students in pesantren. The results of its development were: (1) It was obtained a final model of group counseling based on the pesantren’s values to improve students’ self-regulation that consisted of seven components: the rational, vision and mission, objectives, content models, support systems, stages of implementation, evaluation and follow-up; (2) model of group counseling based on pesantren’s values was effective to improve students’ self-regulation.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk: (1) mengetahui pelaksanaan bimbingan kelompok di SMP Negeri di Kabupaten Nagekeo, (2) mengetahui tingkat perilaku prososial siswa, (3) menghasilkan model bimbingan kelompok berbasis Nilai-nilai budaya Nagekeo untuk meningkatkan perilaku prososial siswa SMP Negeri di kabupaten Nagekeo, dan (4) mengetahui kefektifan model bimbingan kelompok berbasis nilai-nilai Budaya Nagekeo dalam meningkatkan perilaku prososial siswa di SMP Negeri di kabupaten Nagekeo. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah educational research and development. Hasil penelitian ini yaitu, pelaksanaan bimbingan kelompok di SMP Negeri di kabupaten Nagekeo tidak memanfaatkan nilai-nilai budaya Nagekeo, sehingga belum efektif mencapai tujuan. Model bimbingan kelompok berbasis nilai-nilai budaya Nagekeo terbukti efektif meningkatkan perilaku prososial siswa, dengan pelaksanaan pertemuan layanan bimbingan kelompok berbasis nilai-nilai budaya Nagekeo.The purposes of this study were to: (1) describe the implementation of group guidance at Junior High School (SMP) in Nagekeo regency; (2) describe the level of students’ prosocial behavior; (3) produce the group guidance model with Nagekeo cultural values-based to improve students’ prosocial behavior; (4) identify the effectiveness of this model to improve students’ prosocial behavior. This study implemented educational Research and Developent design. The results showed that students had different prosocial behavior categories. It made more effective and efficient guidance activities to improve students’ prosocial behavior. Moreover, the results showed that the implementation of group guidance at SMP Negeri in Nagekeo regency did not base on Nagekeo cultural values so that it had not effectively reach the goals. All three models of group guidance with Nageke.
