Developing Android-based Application of Handball Match Statistics for the Coaches in East Kalimantan

Abstract

One of the support branches of the handball sport can be developed with using easy technology which is simple and cheap. The objective of this study is to develop and analyze the product of the android-based application of handball match statistics, the acceptability and effectiveness of the android-based application of handball match statistics on the coach’s evaluation. The research procedure included several steps: identification of potential and problems; data collection; product design; expert validation; revision; small-scale trial; product revision; large-scale trial; product revision. The instruments used in this study were evaluation sheet/questionnaire, and suggestion. The validation results of materials experts I and II were obtained from the materials and content quality by the percentage of 75% in step I and 88% in step II from the materials expert I, and by percentage of 81% in the step I and 90% in the step II from the materials expert II. In a small-scale trial, the score obtained from the coach was in a very good category with the average percentage of 83%. The results of large-scale product trial obtained a score in the very good category with the average percentage of 88%. The results of product trial obtained the average percentage of 88% in the very good category. The conclusion of this study develops an android-based application product of handball match statistics. The suggestion is this application can be used by coaches during a match to evaluate the match quickly.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to analyze the effect of the leg muscle power training method and leg length on the increase in leg muscle power and the 50-meter breaststroke swimming speed. This research is a quasi-experimental study with a 2x2 factorial design of 20 research samples with a sampling technique using purposive sampling technique. Data analysis techniques using Multivariate Analysis of Variance (MANOVA). The results of this study are there are differences in the effect of front barrier hop training methods and jump to box on the increase in leg muscle power, there is a difference in the effect of the front barrier hop training method and jump to box on the 50-meter breaststroke swimming speed, there is a difference in influence between athletes having long limbs and short limbs on increasing leg muscle power, there is a difference in the effect between an athlete having long limbs and short limbs on the 50-meter breaststroke swimming speed, there is an interaction between leg muscle power training and leg length to increase leg muscle power, there was no interaction between leg muscle power training and leg length to the 50-meter breaststroke swimming speed.

Abstract

This study aims to evaluate the antecedents, transactions, and outcomes in the swimming achievement training program at Tirta Wahana Club, Grobogan Regency. This study uses a descriptive qualitative approach to the Countenance Stake evaluation model. The subjects in this study were administrators, coaches, and athletes at Tirta Wahana Club in Grobogan Regency. The results of this study are Antecedent the implementation of swimming coaching in Tirta Wahana Club is going well, the availability of facilities and infrastructure of Tirta Wahana Club is well available, availability of human resources in recruiting coaches and athletes seems simple, and funding comes from 2 elements, Transaction (process) swimming coaching at Tirta Wahana Club, Grobogan Regency consisting of aspects of the implementation of training programs, coordination, consumption, welfare, and transportation have been carried out well based on data, and facts on the ground. The outcome is coaching at the Tirta Wahana Club has increased performance in following the championships at the provincial level in Central Java, and nationally. The conclusion of this study is the overall antecedent, transaction, outcome development of the swimming achievement of the Tirta Wahana Club in Grobogan Regency has been going well with the revision of aspects in the coaching program so that it can advance the coaching system, and improve achievement.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the achievements of students who take extracurricular basketball at Public Vocational High School 1 Kedawung female participants due to poor dribble skills. The purpose of this research is to analyze the difference between the dribble crossover method and the two ball dribble method to the basketball dribble results the difference in the effect of high and low agility on basketball dribble results. Interaction of methods and agility to basketball dribble results. The method used is an experiment with 2x2 factorial design. Research Samples 24 female participants were taken by random technique from a total of 44 female participants. The instrument of agility illonis agility test. The instrument measures dribble using the basketball dribble test. ANOVA data analysis techniques were significant α = 0.05. Data collection techniques use the illonis agility test to measure agility and the basketball dribble test to measure dribble. The result of the research is that there is a difference in the effect of the method of ball-handling crossover dribble and two ball dribble exercises on the average basketball dribble yield of 9.917 while the average two-ball dribble is 8.333. There are differences in the effect of high and low agility on basketball dribble results. The average results of the high agility group of 9.750 low agility group of 8.500. There was an interaction of ball handling, and agility exercises, dribble ball handling crossover exercises with high agility of 11.167 were greater than the ball-handling two-ball dribble method by an average of 8.333.

Abstract

The study aims to analyze and study the regional government's authority towards the sports facilities and infrastructure in Ternate City, North Maluku that covers implementation, planning in equipping, management and the utilization of sports facilities and infrastructure in Ternate City. It used a qualitative approach with ethnography design type of critical ethnography. The subject of the study was regional development, research, and development planning board (Bappelitbangda), Youth and Sports Office (Dispora), 8 districts, National Sports Community of Indonesia (KONI), Central Bureau of Statistics (BPS) and Regional Legislative Assembly (DPRD). The results of study are the authority of regional government towards the sport facilities and infrastructure is arranged under the regional regulation of Ternate City Number 39 of 2012 related to the Long-term Development Plan (RPJP), the implementation of the authority is not running well, the planning in equipping the facilities and infrastructure in Ternate City through Multi-Stakeholder Consultation Forum for Development Planning (Musrenbang) in sub-district, district, and city Management of sport facilities and infrastructure under the authorities of regional government that allocated through Provincial or District Government Budget (APBD) under the responsibility of Dispora, Facilities and infrastructure could be used by the society of Ternate city and the athletes. It can be concluded that the authority of regional government is arranged by Mayor, Dispora, District, Sub-district and society, the implementation of the authority is not running well yet, the planning in equipping is through Musrenbang, the management of facilities and infrastructure is partly managed by regional government, the society can utilized the sports facilities and infrastructure.

Abstract

Sports tourism is all kind of active and passive activities in sports or participation on informal and organized non-commercial activities and requires people to leave home or workplace. This current study aims at (1) determining the condition and status of sports tourism in Simalungun Regency; (2) analyzing the mapping of sports tourism in Simalungun Regency; and (3) analyzing the obstacles encountered in developing sports tourism in Simalungun Regency. This study applied a qualitative approach as its method. Data were collected through observation, interview, and documentation. To ensure data validity, the triangulation technique was applied then the data were analyzed by using interactive model analysis. The results of this study revealed that (1) there were some sports tourism activities existed in Simalungun, but unfortunately they had not developed yet. (2) Tigaras Village was potential to organize sports tourism event since it has Toba lake, hills, fields, and forests. (3) obstacles encountered by parties involving in tourism activities were varied but were interrelated with tourism development problems in Tigaras.

Abstract

Teacher Working Groups (KKG) are very strategic to improve teacher competency and performance. Various efforts to improve teacher performance, including through various instructor training, attending seminars and training, and improving the quality of KKG management. Improvement and development of teacher professional abilities include various aspects including the ability of teachers to master the curriculum and teaching materia, the ability to use methods and facilities in the teaching and learning process, carry out assessment of the process and learning outcomes and the ability to use the environment as a source of learning, discipline and have a commitment to the task. The role of the KKG is very important in developing the teaching profession, through the routine activities of the Penjasorkes teacher KKG in Alian District, it can strengthen brotherhood between teachers, increase insight, improve teacher competence, be able to administer learning together, increase motivation to learn to a higher level of education. . In addition, various problems faced by teachers in the learning process can be resolved through discussions between teachers.. Evaluation of the Countence model of Stake includes 3 things namely antecedents, transactions and outcomes. The results of the antecedent evaluation research (input) show that the PJOK KKG program in Alian Subdistrict, Kebumen Regency has been well organized and planned according to the AD / ART that has been made, a clear vision and mission and goals. Transaction evaluation (process) shows that the implementation of PJOK KKG activities in Alian Subdistrict, Kebumen Regency has not run according to the program that has been made. For the evaluation of outcomes, the results achieved by PJOK teachers from the PJOK KKG activities in Alian District, Kebumen Regency have not been maximized.

Abstract

The identification for talented athletes in Djarum Badminton Club audition is necessarily needed to measure physical test parameters for under 15 years old players. Therefore, it could be expected to have the potential talents. This research aims to produce physical parameters test for U-15 badminton athletes. Samples of this research are Djarum Badminton Club athletes of under 15 years old. Research method uses research and development (R n D) approach with analysis descriptive percentage technique. The results : the assessment from the expert with average score 4,59 (very good). Validity : 1) sit up : 91,7 (very high) 2), push up : 83,3 (very high), 3) balke: 75 % (high), 4) sit and reach : 91,7 (very high), 5) sprint 20 m : 75 % (high), 6) grip strength test : 75 % (very high), 7) court agility test : 100 % (very high), 8) vertical jump test : 100% (very high) and 3 steps medicine ball throw test : 91,7 % (very high). Reliability: 0,917. Conclusions: validity of 7 test items is very high category and the 2 test items is high category, meanwhile the reliability is very high. So this parameters can be used in Djarum Badminton Club auditions for U-15s.

Abstract

Problem with this research is that there has not been a maximum level of coaching at the Soccer School in Kendal Regency. This study aims to analyze: Curriculum and training programs, Coaches, Athletes, Facilities and infrastructure, Management, Coaching system at the Soccer School in Kendal Regency. This research is qualitative research with data triangulation on data analysis techniques.The results of the study show that: Not all SSBs in Kendal Regency make curriculum and training programs, Not all SSB trainers in Kendal Regency have football license levels, Athletes/students of SSB in Kendal Regency have been classified according to age, facilities and infrastructure at SSB in Kendal District have fulfilling to carry out the coaching program, There is a management or organizational structure with a clear division of tasks at SSB in Kendal District, the Coaching System at the Football School in Kendal Regency has not been going well. The conclusion of this research is: The preparation of curriculum and training programs on SSB in Kendal Regency has not been implemented well. The trainers at SSB in Kendal Regency have not yet qualified as good trainers. Athletes, infrastructure, and management at SSB in Kendal Regency are good enough. The guidance system at SSB in Kendal Regency has not run well.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to find out and analyze: 1) The contribution of physical fitness towards learning achievement, 2) The contribution of socio-economic conditions towards learning achievement, 3) The contribution of the school environment towards learning achievement, 4) The contribution of physical fitness and socio-economic conditions towards learning achievement, 5) The contribution of socio-economic conditions and school environment towards learning achievement, 6) The contribution of physical fitness and school environment towards learning achievement, and 7) The contribution of physical fitness, socio-economic conditions and the school environment towards learning achievement. This research is a quantitative study. The population is 393 students and 13 elementary schools. Data analysis techniques using multiple correlation analysis with Slovin formula. The results of the study revealed: 1) Contribution of physical fitness towards learning achievement is moderate with 43%, 2) Contribution of socio-economic conditions towards learning achievement is low with 43%, 3) Contribution of school environment towards learning achievement has incomplete criteria with 65%, 4) Contribution of physical fitness and socio-economic conditions towards learning achievement is 25%, 5) Contribution of physical fitness and school environment towards learning achievement is 67.5%, 6) Contribution of socio-economic conditions and school environment towards learning achievement is 67.5%, and 7) Contribution of physical fitness, socio-economic conditions and school environment towards academic learning achievement is 40%.
