Abstract

This study aims to determine the difference effect between training methods using ropes and hoops on free-throw results with different concentration levels, differences in free throw shooting skills between students who have high and low concentration levels, the effect of interaction between training methods and concentration levels on shooting ability free throw. This study uses an experimental method with a 2 x 2 factorial design. The data analysis technique in this study uses ANOVA. Based on the results of the study, there was a significant difference in effect between the training methods using rope and hoops to the results of free-throw shooting (Fvalue = 4.87 and Ftable = 4.26), there were significant differences in the results of free-throw shooting abilities between students who had high levels of concentration and low (Fvalue = 4.31 and Ftable = 4.26), there is a significant interaction effect between the training method and concentration level on the results of free-throw shooting (Fvalue = 5.74 and Ftable = 4.26). The conclusion from the results of the study is the training method, and the concentration level is the variables that influence the increased ability to do free throws. Each player has different abilities, especially when someone is under pressure, which certainly cannot provide maximum results. Every trainer must understand this condition by giving some specific training and treatment methods as a solution.

Abstract

VO2Max is the ability to breathe oxygen as much as possible during exercise. The objectives of this study were: to analyze the differences of the effect of continuous running and interval running exercises, to analyze differences of the effect between athletes with high and low leg muscle strengths, and to analyze the interaction of endurance training and leg muscle strength to increase VO2Max. Method: This study deployed a 2x2 factorial design, using pre-test and post-test. The population of the study is 44 athletes of Persatuan Drum Band Indonesia (Indonesian Drum Band Association) of Semarang. The sample of the study was 24 athletes selected through a purposive sampling technique. This current study consisted of two independent variables, which were manipulative and attributive variables, and one dependent variable. The instruments used were the Leg Dynamometer test and the Cooper Test. Results of the study: The training method Fvalue = 12.712 > 3.44 with a significance level of 0.05, leg muscle strength Fvalue = 0.992 < 3.44 with a significance level of 0.05, training method and leg muscle strength Fvalue = 0.535 < 3.44 with a significance level of 0.05. Conclusion: Endurance training method with interval running using low leg muscle strength is better than continuous running using low leg muscle strength. Trainers are suggested to use interval running to increase VO2MAX to obtain better endurance.

Abstract

This research aimed to analyze influences of 40 – Yard sprint training method and 40 –Yard Backpedal – Forward training method to dribbling skill of soccer. The variables of this research consisted of manipulative variables: 40 yard sprint and 40 yard backpedal – forward trainings, independent – attributive variables (the controlled variables): high and low speeds. The sample consisted of whole 02 cluster of JHS soccer extracurricular students in Semarang with total 40 participants. The normality test showed sig score of pretest data 0.2335 > 0.05. Thus, the data was normally distributed. The homogeneity test showed from all indicators of test, the sig score 0.05 ≥ 5%. Thus, H0 was accepted. Therefore, the data was homogeneous. The Two Way Anova test results on the training variables showed sig score 0.017 < 0.050. It meant that there was dribbling speed difference between first and second experimental groups. Dealing with speed as the variable, the sig score = 0.008 < 0.050. It showed that tehre was dribbling speed difference between high speed and low speed respondents. The conclusions were there was influence of 40 – yard sprint and 40 – yard backpedal forward to dribbling skill in soccer of the students, there was influence on high and low speed to dribbling skill in soccer of the students, and there was interaction between the methods to the dribbling skill of the students.

Abstract

These failures need to be corrected through practice, this is important to support performance when on the field. To increase the ability to exercise can be determining factors for a person's ability. Means there are several essential factors to improve performance in order to achieve optimal sports performance. Based on the background of the problem and the suitability of the focus of the study, this research is oriented to the preparation of a series of physical tests: How is the preparation of an effective physical test instrument model for athletes in karate? Produce physical test norms of karate athletes aged 14-17 years to identify athletes in the karate sports competition category (Kumite)? Karate is a technique that gives everyone the freedom to use a fist or defend themselves barehanded. Karate is a martial arts branch that has been known for a long time in Indonesia and is a sport that is quite popular with the general public, both in large cities and in small areas. The method used to develop or validate Development products is in the form of a test which includes physical test measurements that can be used to identify karate athletes in the match category (kumite) aged 14 to 17 years. The basic consideration of this type of research and development is used to develop karate physical test instruments. The leg length factor has a dominant effect on karate play. The weight factor in this study is very influential in the game because the more relaxed the body is more freely in moving. The ideals in the body are very influential in karate motion skills. Reaction time test by Androi, Hexagone Obstacle Test, Hurdle Jump, Quick Strike, in this case the training method conducted by the researcher is the right method to measure and improve a physical ability of karate athletes, especially the kumite sparring category, age range of 14-17 years. Anaerobic capacity is determined by the maximum capacity of oxygen consumption and psychological capacity against physiological difficulties. How to train and measure the anaerobic abilities of karate athletes with Rust (Anerobic Running based anaerobic sprint test).
