Abstract

This research entitle the Role of Teachers in increasing the character value of discipline and honesty of students at SD Unggul Lampeunuerut on Desember, 27-29, 2017. The purpose of this study is to know the role of the teachers in improving the character value of discipline and honesty of students at SD Unggul Lampeunerut. The research method used is a qualitative approach with descriptive quantitative. The results of the study showed that 83% of the teachers did not agree and had an effort to improve the character value of discipline and honesty of the students while only 17% agreed to do so. In conclusion, the teachers have a very large role in the role of teachers in improving the character value of discipline and honesty of students at SD Unggul Lampeunerut

Abstract

This research was conducted to analyze the difficulties encountered by the prospective teacher of Biology FKIP Universitas Abulyatama during the Teaching Training Program at Personal issues. This research was a descriptive research with quantitative approach. Data collection in this study were obtained by questionnaires in the form of Likert scale. The result showed that lack of creativity was the main difficulties faced by the biology prospective teacher (67%; medium). On the other hand, being far from spouse, children and household related problems were the least encountered difficulties (28%; low) during the Teaching Training Program.

Abstract

Floor Gymnastics is one of the sub-subjects in the study of Physical Education of Health Sports (Penjasorkes), in conducting floor gymnastics required various mental and good skills. The problem formulation is: "Whether using whether using the game can improve the achievement and motivation of students in doing floor gymnastics in students of SMA Negeri 1 Meulaboh?. The purpose of research is to know the increase in achievement and motivation of students on floor gymnastics by using the game. The research hypothesis "by using the game can improve performance and motivation in performing floor gymnastics". This type of research is class action research. The research subject in this study is as many as 25 students. Based on the results of the processing gained on the cycle I can be described that the cognitive aspect of the cognition is due to 61%, psychomotor aspect is due to 61% while the affective aspect is due 68%. Cycle II can be explained that the learning of floor gymnastics with the methods of the games obtained the cognitive aspects of 100% complete, psychomotor aspects 100% complete and the affective aspect of 100% complete. The average survival rate between cycle I and cycle II is 16%. Hypotheses in this study were received. So through the approach of the game faces can improve the achievement and motivation of students in doing floor gymnastics in grade II students SMA Negeri 1 Meulaboh.

Abstract

In fact, IPA is very necessary in daily life. Therefore science is taught since elementary school age children. But in this case many schools still have National Based School Examination (USBN) scores in low science subjects. No exception is the 57 State Elementary School of Banda Aceh which experienced the same thing. This may be due to many factors, one of which is the use of teaching aids in learning that are used by the teacher in the process of teaching and learning activities (KBM). In connection with this the problem in this study is the influence of the use of inexpensive teaching aids in the learning of the solar system on the learning outcomes of class VI students of SD Negeri 57 Kota Banda Aceh. The aim of this Classroom Action Research (PTK) is to use elementary school as the teacher. Elementary School Science (SD) Conceptually as a provision to teach elementary school science materials. Population in the research of 57 elementary school students in Banda Aceh City. Determination of the sample in the study was class VI students of SD Negeri 57 Kota Banda Aceh, amounting to 33 people consisting of 17 male students and 16 female students. Based on the results of Classroom Action Research (CAR) it can be concluded that students of class VI SD Negeri 57 Kota Banda Aceh. Learning outcomes increased by using inexpensive teaching aids on the learning of the solar system towards class VI students of SD 57 in Banda Aceh 2018/2019.

Abstract

Preparedness for disaster risk reduction is needed in the face of disaster, especially the children and elderly who are the most vulnerable age on the risk of casualties in a disaster. Until now, even the disaster is still happening. Therefore, disaster management paradigm aimed to reduce the impact or risk of such catastrophic disaster preparedness. Understanding of disaster mitigation at primary education is one of the solutions that need to be done in Indonesia. Prepare preparedness awareness of disaster risk reduction is important because the elementary school level students are at great risk in the event of disasters especially earthquakes. The purpose of this study was to describe the influence of self-concept and knowledge of students at SDN 27 and MIN Merduati Kuta Alam sub-district of Banda Aceh on disaster risk reduction preparedness earthquake.   The research was conducted in the form of a cross sectional survey design. The population in this study were all students at SDN 27, as many as 223 and as many as 110 MIN Merduati Kuta Alam sub-district of Banda Aceh, the number of samples to be taken in this study were as many as 52 students at SDN 27 and 69 students in the MIN Merduati with stratified random sampling technique. Primary data collection method is a way to spread form questionnaire to students. Descriptive and analytical analysis with Spearman Rank Correlation coefficient by calculating the correlation coefficient. The results of knowledge in students MIN Merduati which shows that there is a correlation between the knowledge of the preparedness on students Merduati MIN (r = 0,284), knowledge on the students of SDN 27 (r = 0,210). Self-concept in students Merduati MIN is 0,792 which shows that the correlation between self-concept on student preparedness Merduati MIN (r = 0,032), self-concept in students of SDN 27 is (r = 0,165). The average value depending on the child's knowledge and preparedness MIN with mean difference (-1,174), the concept of child-MIN and preparedness with the average difference (6,493), the elementary school students with the knowledge and preparedness mean difference (-1,154), MIN child's self concept and preparedness with the average difference (6,212). The conclusion suggests that there is a relationship between children's knowledge and preparedness MIN with no knowledge of the relationship between elementary school children, elementary school children's self concept and MIN with disaster preparedness. And all the variables have a significant mean difference. There should be a study of the integration of disaster in the curriculum and the teacher's role is important in the formation of self-concept.

Abstract

The element of physical condition is one of the most important elements observed by every sportsman. This is because the physical element has a huge influence on determining the mastery of the other elements. Besides having the ideal physical and Antrhopometri, the athlete of the sport of Kempo also requires a good mental condition. One of the mental factors to note is the level of confident athletes in preparing to do the match. This relates to the form of matches that are always physically faced during the game. Athletes who have less emotional intelligence on their own will experience obstacles in achieving achievements. The population in this research is the provincial athletes in Aceh, which amounted to 26 people and all made samples in this study. The instrument used in this research is using a poll, motor ability test i.e. 1) throwing tests on target; 2) Kelentukan Togok and waist test; 3) Jump far without a prefix; 4) Complete and awake test; 5) push up test; 6) Back and forth and a Kempo play ability test. The analysis of data in this study was processed by using statistical formulas in the form of calculation of average values (mean), standard deviation (SD) and correlational test. The results of analysis of research data obtained the following conclusions, 1) there is a positive and significant relationship between emotional intelligence and the ability to play a game of development of ACEH Pengprov athletes (r = 0.41); 2) There is a positive and significant relationship between Motor Ability with the ability to play the athletes of the Pengprov Aceh PROLIFERATION (r = 0.58); 3) There is a relationship of emotional intelligence and Motor Ability with the ability to play the the athlete of the development of ACEH (R = 0.50). The results of the hypothesis testing showed that Fcount = 2.19 ≥ Ftabel = 1.711 then Emotional intelligence and Motor Ability had a significant connection to the ability of the Kempo play.

Abstract

This study entitled “The Analisys of Students’ Oral Performances by Using Speaking Soring Rubric” is written to analyze the students’ oral performances ability in speaking class by using scoring rubric and to know the lecturer’s scoring rubric used to evaluate her/his students’ speaking ability. The observation sheet helped the writer to get the data about the students’ oral performances based on the scoring rubric and the interview recorded to gain the information about the scoring rubric used by the lecturer to evaluate the students’ speaking ability. As many as 15 students of English Department of Muhammadiyah University was taken as the sample through random sampling. From observation sheet, it showed that there was one student who was in perfect category, and the rest were in good, average, and bad category. While from the interview, the lecturer used David P. Harris’ asessment rubric.
